I had two positive experiences at Sundown One. The first was to demo some B&W speakers. The second was a return to purchase the speakers. Alex was great to deal with. He spent an hour and a half with me while I auditioned various models. At no time was there pressure to buy anything. On my return visit, I made a purchase at a great price. The entire staff was was cordial and helpful in packaging up and loading the large and heavy speakers on to my vehicle. I would definitely purchase from Sundown One again.

Came in today to ask some questions about Bowers & Wilkins speakers. Unfortunately I was having some minor connection issues with one of mine, and after coming in to see some of their “experts”; they acted like they’ve never heard of what I was referring to, and gave me a notepad with Bowers & Wilkins phone number, and sent me on my way. Usually not pleased with their customer service at this store. If you’re in the market for higher-end speakers and technology in Springfield, I strongly urge to shop from the brand or source you’re buying from. Or Best Buy. And I never refer Best Buy for help, but that company has these people beat.

Being a Michigan resident, I can’t speak to the physical store, although I hope to check it out one day. What I can say is that customer service here is next level. I don’t believe I’ve waited more than an hour or so for a reply on anything I’ve needed. Alex is fantastic to work with and helpful at every turn. If you want it, and they can get it; I seriously recommend giving these guys a shot.

This store surprised me with the various sizes and number of wide screen televisions set up and turned on for viewing. The smallest screen was a 27 and the largest screen for viewing was an 85. They carry several brands but we are partial to Samsung. Their prices are very competitive to other stores like Best Buy, etc. The store did not have any customers. We were the only patrons in it. I noted that many of the t.v.s were sold out and on back order. The salesman was helpful but not overly ambitious. We also purchased a t.v. mount of high quality for the 42 Samsung purchased. I had to use the ladies room while there and noted a dirty ring around the toilet bowl which did not impress me, however, the rest of the store seemed clean. This store also sells other equipment such as sound bars, photograph players for 45s and 78 records. They seem to be making a come back.

I tried to order a replacement charging case for Bose SoundSport on their website. Unfortunately, Sundown One did not have it in stock as Bose had these on backorder. Alex had immediately reached out to me to let me know its status and was very responsive, friendly and helpful on all my enquiries. I wished they had the product as they definitely deserved my business. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Only place I go for great pricing, good selection and knowledgeable salesforce on higher end consumer electronics in Springfield area. Am old enough to have been a long time customer of Parker King at Kings Stereo and mourned his move but Sundown One quickly filled that niche. Buy local, it helps us all.

We walked in at 4:15 today and walked out at 4:23 because no one acknowledged us in their store. We sat in the recliners thinking they would come out and try and sell us something, didnt happen. They decided to greet us when we were already walking out the door! We wanted to support our local businesses and not give it to Best Buy. Best Buy will atleast acknowledge you! Looks like Best Buy will get our business. Hopefully you dont treat all customers like this.

Wanted to replace the stock radio in a 2002 Tahoe I have. This vehicle is my go to device for most things, so I spend some time seated behind the wheel and wanted decent sounding audio that had been lacking for since I bought her.Talked to Kyle about what I wanted to do and how I wanted things to sound. He came up with a list of components and parts, mostly right off the top of his head and produced a quote for me.I held onto the quote for about a month and finally decided to proceed and I am GLAD that I did. Kyle is a friggn genius when it comes to installing and knowing his craft. This guy is a rare individual that can take customer requirements and turn them into reality and do it right the first time.Getting into my ride now, is like being 16 again. Its as if Dad bought me an older ride that has a few cosmetic issues, but he hooked me up with a SWEET radio and all I want to do is cruise around town with the windows down with the tunes cranked. To give you some perspective, Im 47, so anything that can drop me into the Way-Back machine is like gold.So add that to the list of pluses about Sundown One:1. Kyle is an equipment and installation genius.2. He does stuff correct the first time.3. Having something as simple as some clear and great sounding music propelled me back in time and made me feel 30 younger.And thats ALL because one guy knows his craft and can do it well.

I bought a TV from here a while ago. It was the best buying experience Ive had buying TVs. I definitely recommend you visit this place if you want to walk away completely confident with your purchase. They stand behind what they sell.

They carry all good brands. But my experience with them was just terrible all around. Very poor installation and finally flat out refused to fix.

Are you kidding me? In the age of instant gratification and plentory of stuff you can order and get delivered to your door, I thought brink and mortar was dead. Well, it’s not. For the first time in 10 years I found the value in brick and mortar by shopping with Subdown. I bought an expensive receiver and was having teouble setting it up. A glorious bearded man named Jimmy sold it to me. When I called with my tribulations, what did that bearded god do? He jumped in his car and came to my damn house to fix the problem. I’m not “that way” but I wanted to blow Jimmy and subdown in general for the outstanding customer service. #customerforlife.
