Great experience as always. Only issue was in bakery it seemed like there was an employee who was under the age of 18. I don’t know if there is a new policy but I thought only adults were allowed in the bakery. He was very slow with what I wanted and the writing on the cake was incredibly sloppy. Everything else about the store was fantastic.

Ran into Big Y for a few items and was out in minutes. Staff was courteous. The only thing that I didnt like is the Covid vaccine propaganda outside the entrance.

The bakery worked make me a cake the I was in desperate need she make my 1 one year granddaughter thanks .... I forgot her name but she was super nice great job....

I am very happy to write this review!!! I must say Lisa and Ilenewere very helpful yesterday when I shopped at the store. Both ladies made it a very pleasant experience and in these trying times at that. People like these ladies make the store a friendly and satisfying place. They provided great customer service with a smile. By the time I was leaving the store I was smiling from ear to ear. I want to thank these ladies again and we will be on the beach one day with our bikinis!!! Just tell Lisa to ask Ilene.😆 I love this store!!!

They took away the senior hour during the pandemic. They only have one cashier on when there should be three. The store was not overly clean during the pandemic. They could not compare with stop & shop. They lost a loyal customer

Been going here for years never had such a rude bakery person, she was helping in flowers section as well and was rude there too on valentines day, but went there next day had two very nice people and helpful, thats why give you three 🌟 you should only hire educated people that can treat people with respect if they cannot handle stressful or busy days, they shouldnt work because is not our fault, we dont deserve to be treated like that.

My son was very sick and all he wanted was big ys rotisserie chicken soup but there was none. The woman working the sandwich counter out of the kindness of her heart she made some for my son in 15 min. That is all my son ate today thank you. I wish i got your name. Thank you! Great staff.

Ive been going here for years. I really love it. It is consistently clean and stocked. Staff is very helpful always looking to help. Food is always fresh. Big y prices on meat have always been high so i never buy meat for my family of 7 there unless I want to spend a ton. During this Covid19 stuff they were awesome with cleaning carts and baskets, first to make social distance a priority, limiting the number of customers, ensuring customer care stayed at the level we all love and enjoy. Today I was cashed out by a young man named Bryan. He was very nice and helpful and also cashed me out quickly which we all can enjoy. Great job like always guys. Our neighborhood appreciates you! 🖖

We have two very good competing stores, that is Big Y and Stop and Shop. I have always found that Big Y offers a greater care in customer service and cleanliness. After 10am seems to be the best time to go in if you need something quick. After 4pm is when everything is stocked but is more busy. I tend to stick with the after 4pm time if I do a full shopping trip.

Prices of always been high at Big Y thats the only thing I dont like other than that I love shopping there

I dont know what is wrong with Big Y. They cant seem to order enough food to stock their shelves. Even first thing in the morning the store is ¾ stocked at best. Now as for our K9 companions well the World Class Market cant get the fact that they eat too ... Some of us shoppers cant go anywhere else so please rectify your issues so all of us can eat. Heck your making enough money off of us with shoty bags that rip before you get out the door!

Just so you know, my family, grandmother, and great grandparents have shopped at Big Y since it was Cash Y. We have Always been loyal customers. Please hire cashiers and service clerks that can be respectful.

I was very impressed by a young cashier by the name of Reynalyz, she noticed her customer (an older lady) in distress because she didnt have enough money to pay for her groceries and this young lady Reynalyz pitched in out of her own money to help the elderly lady. Went here during the stop and shop strike. Big Y has better pricing on items. I continously shop around. Also have fresh bagged dog food. Dates are always good. Fast friendly people. Managers are great at keeping lines moving. Deli meat always fresh and deli area clean.

This Big Y is no good . I went in the daytime and then gave it a second time in the evening. Its bad service all around 😔

ITs a great place to purchace.

The problem is with the new electronic coupons. Even when you accept a coupon. It doesnt always get accepted when checking out. Its very confussing for older people who dont have smart phones. There has to be a better way.Older people still want coupons.Hear complaints all the time from customers and employees.

Had a problem with service and quality of deli meat at the deli. Called and spoke with the manager of the store Mike. Let me tell you I was very impressed by the professionalism and respect I recieved. Mike the manager put Service back in Customer Service. He went above and beyond and I totally appreciate it. In this day and age where people tend to ignore even the smallest problems.And try blowing you off I am very happy with the outcome. Thank you Big Y this manager deserves a great recommendation. I’ve worked here for about 6 months. Here is my honest review. The work environment is very hard but friendly. The employees here are fun and take the work very seriously. I will say that more cleaning is required but most employees clean well! They ensure every customer is treated fairly and with respect and the store itself is well put together.

Great service and helpful staff. I was over at the beef section debating how much I should buy over the phone with someone when the associate nearby found a package that was freshly packed within the last few hours and of a weight that would meet my needs. I had a bagger come find me on a different line and encourage me to come to a different register for faster help, the cashier was friendly, helpful and chatty about the current sales. They both handled my bread and produce with great care. The deli clerk was both quick and helpful too. I was surprised how quickly I was in and out of the store. And the apple selection was great, which was my original reason for going in today!

Clean and stocked shelves. Store is smaller than most other Big Y Supermarkets.

Not really a fan of big name supermarkets/stores. To me, the sales/specials/etc are a big slap in the face. Especially the Buy 1 Get 2 Free deals. And I use the word deal very lightly because that means at your regular price customers are paying 3 times the amount of just 1 item. Ill stick with Save A Lot and the sort. Suits run these shops. It shows. And thats not a compliment. Grocery stores should Not be the people that silently Kill your pockets. Food is a necessity. Not a Want.

Best supermarket in the area

Rude, obnoxious staff who let people walk around without a mask and eat their food as they shop, making a big mess. Disgusting. They wont give you hags, you have to buy them. Pathetic.

Poor experience this time around. Order pizza, two 30 grinders, and wings. We were told it would be ready in 40 minutes. Upon arrival the pizza wasnt ready and nor were the grinders. The grinders came later but the pizza was reported to not be ready for another hour. We had to make new dinner plans as a family. It was very disappointing.

Really great Big Y. Very clean and orderly, with the staff being very polite and quick. Never do I have any problems. The cash registers are modern and up to date, compatible with the latest mobile devices. Equipped with staff competant enough to use them. Still, i wonder if there are any plans to add to this particular sites technological implementations. Not to mention architectural improvements.

I reccomend you shop here for you need during this crisis store is clean employees are knowledgable and calm and constantly working the management is top notch compared to other local stores. Salute

I ordered my sons cake yesterday rushing to get the cake took a glimpse at it and thought everything looked great..Thats until I got to my sons party and realized that they forgot to put the Y in Happy. I called the bakery department a few minutes ago and the young girl was very unprofessional and rude She kept me on hold for 20 mins. & before she put me on hold she said well your gonna have to hold 30 minutes until the manager gets back.
