I had to go in twice (my error) but Moss Beverly was AMAZING. She knew exactly which faucent stem out of the dozens was needed and even helped me find a screw. Will definitely be back, this was great customer service.

Always fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable of their products in order to help their customers. Its an institution in Springfield. You know they have to be good with a Lowes less than a mile down the street. Walker hardware is the little guy fighting a giant.

Dont know if I will go back. There are other places in Springfield to get the same stuff that actually want your business. One counter guy tried to handle the crowd, one counter guy worked one customer, one guy came out of his office and stood at the counter and make small talk with his buddies while several actual customers stood and watched. I hope he isnt the boss but it appeared he was. It wasnt a good look and I found my part somewhere else.

One can find almost anything hardware at Walkers. They are great for repairing tools. Great prices on Stihl.

I go there to get things I need to fix something that needs to be fixed. They make really good keys there. And they dont mess them up. The people are really friendly.

I love the staff here and is one of the only reasons I continue to come back. They carry everything you will ever need. If you are a local, make this your hardware store and never go anywhere else. They arent experts, but they know enough to make anything simpler.

Great place

Excellent selection, very helpful and knowledgeable staff. They had a huge selection of appliance repair parts and they were able to find the part that I needed to fix my oven. They looked up my model number and suggested a part that would be much much cheaper than the name brand item. Also, they have a great selection of Case pocket knives.

If you need electrical or plumbing supplies this is the place to shop. Lots of unique hard to find items that the big box stores dont carry.

It’s such a joy to walk into a home town store and be greeted and have someone happy to help! I needed metal pipe cut to make a curtain rod. Even showed them the pictures of what I wanted. Thank you for helping with my project! I get so many complements on my industrial curtain rod.

If renting equipment ask for David, another associate was unknowledgeable and charged me more after a agreed-upon rental cost. Fortunately David resolved the issue, If renting equipment be sure to get anything discussed in writing as the other associate could care less about customer satisfaction and business retention

I think these reviews for Walker are surprising me. I mean, yeah, good luck finding the lights on when youre off work. And prices might be a hair high. But what youll find here are the things you aint gonna find those other two places you looked in town. So, thats the You Didnt Come Here First, Nimrod tax. Friendly staff, great service, fair and efficient small-engine repair service. If you have or like Stihl, youll end up here. I suspect plumbing or guttering, amongst other things, will bring you here, too.

This used to be a great business but has severely declined in the past couple years. Purchased a $450 string trimmer from this store which lasted six weeks before I had problems. They spent the next year off and on trying to fix it instead of replacing it. Once the warranty was up I was stuck with the broken machine. I had multiple conversations with the owner who ultimately kept passing the blame off to the manufacturer.

I purchased a sprayer for my kitchen sink a month later its leaking water all over the sink,took it back to have it replaced walker hardware would. Not replace it because I didnt keep the package it came in who keeps a plastic wrapper for a sprayer please,the man behind the counter would hardly speak to me and was very rood he threw the sprayer down one of the isles I had a brass fitting I bought for my water filter it cracked water all over the ground under my house they would not replaced it had to buy another one thats ok I will never set a foot in that place again,just to let you know I bought a new shop vac,dealt jig saw,new chain saw and a new tool box would have bought some of it there to bad

Expensive place. This means that you cant find it. You go there and pay the Piper.
