Not impressed with the customer service. My mistake... I ordered barn door handles not realizing that the handles come in singles not pairs. This is not clarified on the website. I paid the $15 shipping for the first handle. Called customer service and explained that I needed a second handle and asked if I could have the second shipping fee waved. I was told they can’t wave the shipping and if I return the first handle I would get a store credit only. They don’t offer your money back return FYI. After pushing for more info, I got the “umm my manger is in a meeting and I will have to call you back” . Big surprise there was no follow up within a week. It’s not about the 15 dollar shipping...just expecting a little more from a company that I just order several thousand dollars from in barn doors and needed the finishing hardware to complete. I won’t order from them again and if I were you I would consider avoiding if customer service issues were anticipated. . Side note the handles were good quality and as pictured.

Where to start..........By calling the company and explaining what my plans were, they directed me to the hardware that was most suitable for my project. My biggest concern was the weight of the doors because one was 6 feet wide and using authentic barn-wood was quite heavy (over 300 lbs.). The next hurdle was ensuring enough clearance for the door jams which they were able to provide custom spacers between the doors and wall, which would also hold the weight. The quality of the hardware is second to none, the response in receiving the hardware including the custom spacers was quick and more importantly the customer service was outstanding. Cant wait for the next project if anybody is looking for doors.

We purchased barn doors from this company to finish out a basement remodel. We were very pleased with the doors and they were of good quality. We did the finish work in our shop and the homeowner was very happy with them. I would recommend to anyone. Thanks!

I have installed a lot of Barn Doors. I have used a lot of different hardware, the client wanted to use this one. The Hardware was ok, not great, nothing special, over priced.The customer service is awkward and challenging... Rustica and Artisan are the same company and customer services - but with different products, accounts, and prices. Making changes to your order, or making returns is very challenging. I had to make 10 calls to them to get a simple pull exchanged - with promises of them calling me back, which never happened to help resolve the problem. You have to send back an item at your own cost, wait for them to process it and credit your account, and then go back in and get the updated item... it makes for a much longer and complicated process than them just being able to credit your account after sending the new product. Anyway, I wont be using them again, or recommending.

I purchased two barn doors for my kitchen/dining renovation. Amanda was so helpful with the design and exact color selection of the reclaimed wood I wanted. She sent me samples and then even gave instructions to use more of some colors than others during the construction. I got the exact door I had pictured and they were delivered on time in perfect condition. I would highly recommend using Artisan hardware!

I decided to order a barn door for my living room based off a recommendation from a friend. I am highly disappointed. They sent a door with a huge dent in it and refuse to do anything about it. Don’t waste your money.

After spending some time looking at local options and browsing the web, I settled on Artisan Hardwares sliding door hardware. We are working on refinishing two rooms and wanted to incorporate a sliding door for access to our laundry room (image below). I made my own door but required the hardware for installation. The hardware options, included details, specifications and videos were all extremely helpful. I did have a couple of questions pertaining to finish styles and a response was promptly provided via text. All items were shipped promptly and packaged carefully.The quality of all components is excellent and I could not be happier with my final product. I have already recommended the company to a contractor and would certainly recommend Artisan Hardware again.

Artisan Hardware is the way to go! After searching online for a certain style of a closet door handle, I only found one website; unfortunately, it did not have the size I needed. Then, I cam across Artisan Hardware who had the style I wanted and different sizes but the sizes were not a preferred length. After contacting Artisan Hardware, they were most accommodating in custom-making the length I needed. The turn-around time was short (like one week) and the price-point was inexpensive with high-quality in tact. Thank you, Artisan Hardware, for what you do and I am so, so glad that I found you!

We purchased a rail, hanging and door hardware to install some old barn doors we found. The quality and workmanship of the materials from Artisian Hardware is first rate. Just beautiful and easy to install. Shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. We ordered extra bottom door guides as we were not sure which we would prefer. Customer service was super easy to deal with to later return the extra door guides. Highly recommend using this company!

I have used Artisan hardware twice, so far, for barn door hardware for customers. Both times I have had to contact their customer service due to some issues on my side, and they went above and beyond to solve the problems. My customers were extremely happy with the hardware and I have piece of mind that they quality of the hardware matches the quality of the doors. The rollers are smooth operating and everything is built to last. Highly recommend!

The quality of the door looks great. Unfortunately I don’t know what it looks like hanging up because it’s been sitting in my garage for a month and a half. The reason for one star is customer service. When the barn door first arrived I did not receive an extension kit for the barn door track. I called to ask for an extension kit. A few weeks later I receive it and it was not the right track. I called the company and they said they would ship what I needed out. I waited a week and no tracking number or package containing my track. I called the company and was told it was never shipped out and they don’t know why. I finally asked for a manager to clear up this matter and she told me it would be shipped out on a Monday and that I would receive an email with the confirmation and tracking number. I did not receive it so I called on Tuesday and still no tracking number until later in the evening. I’ve yet to receive it. It’s going to take over a week for the product to get to me that’s if it is even correct, fingers crossed. Oh yes, I’ve had to pay the installer for two extra trips for his time that was loss from him not being able to install the door.

I have now purchased two sliding barn door hardware kits, and several handles, rollers etc. through three different transactions. Every time I have dealt with them I found their customer service to be excellent and over the top. For one of the doors I had miscalculated the length of the track and had to order a longer one. I spoke with Josh, and he was extremely helpful and prompt. The longer track was in my opinion extremely reasonably priced. I ordered a couple of additional components and Josh included free shipping. He even anticipated what I didnt and included the extra bolt and spacer I would need for the longer run. All in all a great experience. And, of course, the product is first class and very attractive. I hope to have the need to deal with them again.

We purchased an Industrial Barn Door for our bathroom. Originally our door opened up into the bathroom and hit the toilet. Instead of putting in a pocket door that could be costly and messy we decided to go with the barn door. It adds character to our house and I absolutely LOVE it! I make my own doors for my customers and buy Artisan Hardware to complete the look. I do all my own installations so I know how hardware can affect how the door both looks and operates. Quality is dead-on consistent. Directions are clear and accurate. Sometimes a customer will have ordered their own hardware from a different supplier and I run into problems nearly every time that happens. I see people try to save $50 on other hardware and all they accomplish is $200 worth of additional installation problems. This is the only hardware I recommend. Period.

The door arrived damaged: punctures from nails, the hardware was not installed properly on the door. I contacted Artisan several times and didn’t receive any response. I do not recommend them

Though there was some mis-communications, they did an excellent job in resolving my issue. This shows that they will make sure you are satisfied with your product and customer service.

Love my door, had no problems putting it up and when ordering it the people at Artisan were helpful and really new there product. The hardware and door just changed the look of the room, cant wait to try there wood paneling on one of our bedroom walls.

I used the Reclaimed Panel Barn Door to replace the impractical French doors in my clients office. This is a wide opening, and the door is an absolute show-stopper. When guests arrive, they immediately stop to stare, touch it, and move it back and forth. Its not just a door, its like a giant piece of art. We opted for the pre-hung version with a wall mount guide, and the contractor said it was extremely simple to install. Already working on another project with an Artisan Hardware door!

I just received my second order of barn door hardware from Artisan Hardware, and Im blown away by their customer service.I paid extra for two day shipping on this order. The expidited the hardware production and shipped the order on time however the box was delayed getting to the UPS hub and would not arrive on time.Without asking, Artisan Hardware quickly produced the order again and shipped the order overnight at no charge so I would receive the order on time.The order arrived on time with everything in order.Im very impressed with the quality of the hardware.Thank You Artisan Hardware!!

Artisan Hardwares barn door hardware is great, but Ive been especially pleased with the service I get when I call. Amanda has been the best to work with.

So I really wanted to incorporate barn doors in our home since we have a country/farmhouse feel to our house. The problem was, every doorway or opening did not have enough wall space to the side of it to use a barn door in an actual doorway.I came up with an idea of making shorter barn doors and using them like shutters to cover our TV. This accomplished a two things. 1) Our house is an open concept house and our living room is the main room in our house. I wanted a way to hide our massive 70 TV in certain times, such as when we have company over to the house, and we dont want our obnoxious huge TV to be the center of attention. 2) And it also allowed me to incorporate barn doors like I had wanted.So with JOSHs(*****5 stars) help at Artisan Hardware we came up with a way for me to build a header beam above our TV to get the shutter style barn doors out away from the wall and clear the TV. I went ahead and built my own doors because I needed to be in control of the exact size and shape. However, we then were able to mount the AMAZING HARDWARE from Artisan Hardware to the beam and have functioning barn doors/shutters to hide the TV.THANKS ARTISAN HARDWARE and Josh (the great sells Rep), who could visualize my grand idea, even before I had anything concrete to show him and was able to just describe my idea to him.I highly recommend Artisan Hardware and Josh for any rustic creation you may be dreaming up.
