We ordered all new fiberglass Therma-Tru outside doors with composite frames and brickmoulding. We wanted custom paint & trim on the outside, so we are painting all of them ourselves. Benjamin Moore Aura is excellent over a primer coat. Jim, the sales rep at C R Doors has been terrific to work with. He takes our calls, returns calls when out of the office, and has stayed on top of our order the whole time. With the huge housing demand recently the doors took quite a while to arrive. We are actually still waiting for one odd-sized door. The only reason I took off one star was because the workmanship in putting on the hardware was sloppy on several doors. I expect crisp cuts, not ragged splintered wood that needs to be glued or just tolerated for the next 30 years. Also, the sweeps were all screwed in and many of the holes were not centered between the fins. It looks careless and I think the ones that tuck up in the door are better quality. A sharp tool and a little more care would have earned a 5 star. These door are very expensive. The rest of the workmanship was excellent. The craftsmen were professional, respectful and resourceful when they helped us load the doors on our trailer. (Dont understand though why Therma - Tru would use particle board as a base for the bottom of their fiberglass doors. Even though it is covered by a rubber sweep, particle board absorbs water and swells. It rains and snows here in Utah. I painted over it hoping to make it more water resistant. I do not want to replace these doors ever again.) Overall I am pleased with C R Doors and would use them again. They are locally owned and convenient to our home which we really appreciate.

Came here on a recommendation from a business partner. I needed a door that was not typical in size and design. They gave me a quote and a design to have an idea what it would look like. I was not disappointed and neither was my client. It turned out great. Will be back for future projects.

This was brand new construction and I ordered 15 pre-hung custom doors from CR doors. Kofi the sales rep was very patient with working with us through the process. No complaints so far. When the doors were delivered they damaged our 1 day old drywall in our garage. I was obviously upset and I called the rep Kofi and I was transferred to dispatch to talk to them and then I was told I needed to speak with the GM. I have called and left messages and no response. Also, around 4-5 custom doors were damaged. I called in to see what happened and I wanted something to be done. I am not sure why new custom doors would be damaged. I was told to send them back and they would try to patch and bondo the doors or if they need to order new ones it would be 4-6 weeks. I was also told that I would still be paying full price for some basically salvaged doors.

Horrible customer service, we will never use again. Our order had to be custom ordered and picked up at a later date. We called before we left to make sure it was ready to be picked up and they said it was. When we arrived my husband went into the office and then went out to the shop and rang the little bell for assistance. He rang the bell 3 different times, first 2 times two different guys walked out looked at him and walked away without even saying anything to him. (We were the ONLY people there to be helped, it’s not like they were busy) then after the 3rd time he rang the bell they finally came out irritated and asked what he needed. They then spent 30 minutes just trying to locate our order. We were there for an hour waiting for them to load our trailer, then while loading it they broke some of it and now they have to reorder it again. No apologies, and every employee had an attitude and could care less about the customer just wanted us out of the way. We live 1 hour away from their shop and they won’t even deliver for THEIR mistake. Horrible horrible. Definitely go elsewhere.EDIT:After reading my review they reached out and did deliver the wood they broke without charge. Nothing was ever discussed about the horrible customer service or experience but the wood was a good product and worked great for our project.

I honestly didn’t expect to hear back as we’ve had the door for two years. Next thing I know on New Year’s Day Clint the owner shows up to fix my door! Double check your order and keep your eyes open. They sent me 15 doors of a cheaper brand/quality than I ordered and paid for. I do think it was an honest mistake. But, perhaps something they should catch and not require the owner to notice. They took the doors back and ordered the correct doors.When I received my doors, they were hung with cheaper hinges than the ones I ordered and paid for. I do think that was an honest mistake they just missed. Probably something their quality control folks shouldve noticed. They sent out the correct hinges on a later delivery.One of the replacement doors I got was hung backwards. An honest mistake. They took it back to hang again, no problem...it came back to me 6 weeks later. Oh, and one of the doors came without a jamb altogether. Honest mistake that they corrected by sending out a raw jamb for me to cut down and build. I just wish the door they sent actually fit the jamb (its easy 1+ wider than any of the other 2/6 doors I received). Ill cut it down later after paint. Honest mistake, probably because it wasnt sent already pre-hung (as requested).Turns out, one of the door jambs didnt have a complete kerf all the way around. I do believe it was probably just an oversight as they were hurrying to finish my order. They couldnt send someone out from their shop to fix it, but they did offer to hire a handy man or have me hire one, and theyd pay for it. Something I shouldve noticed before install...but also, probably just an honest mistake that their quality controls should have checked before shipping.Doors were ordered at the end of August...with original promised delivery to be September...final delivery was end of December just before holidays. 16 weeks to deliver a complete order of 15 doors.The salesperson was always as helpful as he could be, given the circumstances.

I recently chose to start shopping more with local mom and pop type of stores, instead of places like home depot when possible. And Im glad I did, I think it says great things about a company when the owner isnt afraid to dive into sales along with his other duties! Clint took us out to the shop and cut different boards to show us what would work. With helping cover up a gap in the flooring that we installed. After we got home I compared what we bought at CR Doors to what we could have bought at Home Depot and we saved over $115 by going to CR Doors!!

We walked in and talked with Clint who educated us, then processed getting a door ordered. We had a little miss-communication on both sides but were quickly offered a solution. Despite that we have been nothing less than impressed by Clint and every employ we spoke with. Its nice to work with a local company, we know where we will get doors from if we ever need another one.

My wife and I were more than happy with their prices on molding and trim. But man, have some pride in your work. 1/4th of the boards come damaged and waste. Better to pay more per foot and get good boards.Update: They are replacing the boards.

Best place to get your doors and base/case. Cheaper than the big box home improvement people and much more helpful. Bought doors for my whole basement there. One of the doors came with the wrong hardware and they were very quick to fix it without any hassle.

Tried to buy a door from Home Depot and Lowes, but their lead times were crazy long, so I ordered one from CR. They had a better price, they were fast, and the door was exactly what we wanted. Couldnt be more pleased.

Definition of a country operation. I’ve never seen a business run so poorly. One of the absolute worst customer experiences I’ve had.I could write paragraphs about the poor (nonexistent) customer service, how the sales office and warehouse operate entirely separate giving the customer headaches, and the dead slow speed at which they move but I’ll get to the meat of it -Picking up my door, which I had to call and ask about and was not proactively called to be told it was done, I waited for 20 minutes for help even though I was surrounded by various employees.Upon receiving the door half the work had not been done and there was a gash in the middle of the door. I was crunched for time so said if they painted the door and finished the work while I waited I’d call it square.The employee I was with spray painted the door the wrong color, so there is now a streak of a different shade of white in the middle of it.This door was a cheap replacement for a rental, and I’d not even go back to this place for a job like that again. I’d ABSOLUTELY never trust them with a job for a place I owned or a new build. Horrible company to say the least, literally anyone could run a company better than these jokers.

They will lie to your face to get tou to sign and give them a deposit and then when it comes time to deliver they will not do what is promised. Salesperson made promises and the day that we were supposed to pick up the doors they refused to honor the initial agreement because they said that they git a big order in and so our order was no longer important enough to them to fulfill. These guys are liars and crooks do not use them !

I have experienced only lies and empty promises. Cannot NOT recommend more strongly. Owners are nice enough on the surface but are liars and cheats in my opinion. Let this be your warning. I wish I would have read their reviews before I worked with them.

We got our first homes doors here, and they look great! Their prices are fair, affordable, and they offer a nice selection at a great price!

I purchased a single, plain door. Although limited hours requiring using vacation time to drop off my old door and pick up the new one, they worked with me to make it a same day appointment as I requested.When arriving, they were disorganized and not customer-oriented. I had to go back and forth between the office and warehouse, rather than an employee, because the left hand hadn’t talked to the right.My old door was provided so the new one would be a perfect match, but one hinge was 1/8” too high and the door slightly too wide requiring considerable sanding down to fit. They also didn’t notice the hinges it arrived with were rectangular so I had to buy new rounded edge hinges to match their cut. The end result is now I have to hire a handyman to fix their mistake since I don’t have vacation hours to drop it off to have them fix it!Probably fine for a contractor or someone who knows what they are doing, but between mistakes and poor customer service, I would not recommend to the general public.

I give them four stars because the door they made for me was of good quality. I didnt give them a full 5 stars because there were significant delays and relatively poor communication during those delays.
