I was slightly skeptical after seeing the 3 star rating, but I was blown away by their service.I called earlier that day to inquire about a vehicle and I spoke to a guy named Ivan/Juan . I told him the vehicle I was interested and I didn’t want to spend 2 hours at the dealership. After arriving to the dealership I was quite impressed! Everything inside seemed so organized. There was a small department for everything from selling your car to doing a test drive and returning from a test drive. If it wasn’t for the long hold time with my bank,we could’ve had the deal completed in 2 hour or so.Patrick Scoot was also cool!! Great sense of humor too!!My overall experience was A++++

I would never recommend this place to ANYONE. Front desk girls are very unfriendly and unwelcoming. I went here multiple times to try and buy a car. My salesman was running around between me and other customers, didn’t give me ANY info on any of the cars I was looking at. This place is a man house and wait times are WAY TOO LONG. I ended up having great service at a Sewell dealership and will keep not recommending this place to others.

Do not use Melivn S. as your sales rep. Once you sign the paperwork he wont help. Also, this dealership does not help buyer with finance company they want to use . They are not there to help the buyer all about the sale and money. Also, check your car when you pick up because although they had hours to prepare our for make ready for pick up it was super dirty. Stains and dirt. Once we returned home we had to pay someone to detail our car which they should have done. When we brought this up we were told if it makes us happy they will give us a discount. Discount to what we have live hours away. Come on. Complete service. Dont waste your time if you want real customer service and to be treated like a person not just a number and sale.

Cannot reach anyone on the phone, more importantly anyone in the finance department. Bought a vehicle with an extended warranty a few years back. Sold the vehicle and had remaining time/miles left on the warranty which is eligible for a refund of a prorated amount. Filed all paperwork through the third party service contract company and awaiting the actual check to be cut from the selling dealership (Texas Direct Auto/Stafford, TX). Have now called over a dozen times, emailed the person who sold me the warranty, who happens to no longer work for the company. Have asked to speak with someone in finance, left messages for weeks and no response. Very poor customer service and follow up. They work quickly and efficiently when they want to take your money, but are non-non-existant when they owe you money. Buyers BEWARE!!!

Terrible customer service post sale. I tried for weeks to cancel a warranty and filled out the forms they require, but 3 months later I still have no refund. Every time I call, one department sends me to another with neither taking responsibility. Also their customer service sounds like they are offshore, so they don’t really care nor are they competent. They are effectively stealing my money since I am told the warranty company has sent them a check for the refund, but it has been impossible to get their finance department to forward that check to me.Next time, I would rather pay a little more for a vehicle from somewhere else knowing that if there are ever any issues with the car post sale, vroom will not do anything to address it.

I got a 2014 BMW from this location and it was the worst experience possible. Firstly it took them more than a month to get me approved and I was okay with it initially since I didn’t have a credit score or any credit history. But I had payed $16+ Cash and was only financing $5000. So for it to take more than a week is unacceptable. Also the car they sold me had so many issues which were not documented. Firstly it had an alignment issue then it had a issue where the sunroof was replaced and not installed properly which cause a leak and damaged the car audio. Also, bmw usually come with run flat tires since they have no spares and this car just had regular tires which was a headache as I wasn’t aware of it and got stuck in the middle of night waiting for a towing. When I tried to contact Joe Brandao (the sales person) he didn’t answer the call at all. I also called the dealership directly and left 3 messages but no one ever got back to me. I sold the car 3 months after purchasing and took a loss of $3000. It was the worse experience ever. I would not do any business with them in the future.

I read a comment that said “the vroom team know what they are doing” and couldn’t disagree more. As mentioned by multiple customers, ever since Vroom acquired Texas Direct Auto, the service in vehicle quality has significantly dropped. Multiple issues and misinformation goes unreported to customers after they have finalized a purchase. Be a smart shopper and be obnoxiously thorough if you decide to purchase from here. Even better, please go give your time and money to a company that actively seeks improvements from the customers feedback. We had such an amazing experience at this place. Daniel was our salesman and he was great- we didn’t feel any pressure from him, he was just super helpful and informative. I can’t imagine having a better experience than you do here. You tell them which cars you want to drive, and by the time you’re back with one car, they have the next one there waiting for you! We test drove 4 cars in no time at all. Plus you don’t have to have a salesman in the car with you so you can drive it how you like haha! I highly recommend this place- they also have the best prices. Very impressive, huge lot, it’s like the Disney World of car dealerships with dozens employees everywhere.

I bought a car here years ago and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this time I was helping a friend look for a car, suggested the place, and I was shocked by the lack of interest or motivation of anyone other than the people welcoming us in to sell anything. They were far from busy with clients on the floor or test driving. It took so long to wait a sales associate that my friend said something to the greeter who was also shocked We hadnt been assisted yet. When the person he spoke to came out to assist us, he didnt even devote his full attention to my friends interest. He agreed to show him 2 different vehicles they had on the lot. This took another 40min. Also, most people were on their cell phones with ear buds in place which were removed once we were about to get their attention. In short, it was a poor experience this time. It was as if we were imposing on their day. I was disappointed and would expect better service since the plan would be to buy a car which is never a cheap purchase.

Strongly discouraged to work with Vroom. Everything looks great but you better hope you dont have to return the vehicle --- I bought a Hyundai and found out afterwards that it has an engine part recall issue that the manufacturer does not have a solution for yet. After over a month and many ignored requests to Customer Support on the update of the buyback, I am still stuck with a loan and no vehicle.

Finally, after approximately a 2 hour delay. Things finally completed. Chris did everything that could possibly be done short of signing of documentation. I have been getting different stories from different people on what is going on with the windshield. Didn’t receive a call. 3 hours of waiting, we were told they are reporting the car stolen. Told us we wouldn’t be able to get our refund instantly, as they instantly took it from our account. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! MY POST IS LONG BUT WELL WORTH THE READ PLUS IT MAY HELP YOU!!!!!Per my own rule, I give reviews at least 6 months after purchasing a vehicle because some dealerships, like this one, is not trustworthy. Plus I like to give honest reviews, WITH RECEIPTS, that may help the next person.First Im sending a CONGRATULATIONS to those customers that had an absolutely wonderful experience at this dealership because it wasnt the case for me.The process is Extremely Rushed: I shopped VROOM online. The salesman John, immediately notifies me. Asked me for my info and I was approved fast. Ok basically, You get there, theyll have the car you want ready, you have 25-30 minutes (if that) to test drive it, and if you purchase it; you have 7 days to return it. The scam is, a customer buys a car when they really need one and sometimes out of desperation. The car will run like a charm for a few weeks so of course you will not bring it to a mechanic or return it within 7 days. Your 7 day limit will expire before the problems start.6, 6, 6, 6 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!! I purchased a Cadillac SRX. The Car is Beautiful on the outside, Ran well, seemed like a good vehicle. Then I notice advertisements on The CUE screen that popup, 3 fake Center Hubcaps that had Stickers, the car hesitates to start when cold, theres a rubbing sound when turning coming from the driver side front wheel AND I notice an unusual amount of smoke coming from the exhaust pipes. Of course 7 days has passed but I did get the 2 year extended warranty. Oh yeah, and with that They tell you to bring it to them for repairs or the Cadillac Dealership. As a customer, they think you are too ignorant to understand that They do not inspect the cars like they say they do. Instead of them doing the right thing and inspecting and fixing things properly before you purchase; they push for you to purchase the extended warranty so when things go wrong; you bring your LEMON car back to them to repair and they will charge it under the warranty they sold you and you pay for out of pocket expenses.I take it to Sewell Cadillac.....This car has multiple problems. The fact is it is dangerous for me to drive and shouldve been auctioned. It shouldnt have been on the market for purchase. Engine issues, Oil leaks, Gaskets needed changing, All filters were extremely filthy and needed changing, Fluids dirty and dark (Oil, Brake, Etc.), Suspension problems, Rusty wheel components, Air Compressor stopped working and need replacing, Electrical issues and So many other problems as well. Ive brought this car in for repairs so much, within 6 months, that Sewell Cadillac called an Independent Car Inspector to come in to assess my car. The inspector told my Sewell Cadillac Advisor to hold off on any more repairs until he arrives to inspect the entire vehicle. I Truly feel they sold me a Hurricane Flooded Vehicle. Not only that the only time, Ive seen Business Advertisements on a CUE screen is in Rental Cars.As of right now, My car is at Sewell for repairs and Im in a loaner car again. Im going to post this review on all Social media platforms, notify my lender, and find out all my options of legal pursuance. Again, BUYER BEWARE!!!!

About three days after signing the contract a driver called to schedule a time for pick up. I arranged that and the process went smooth however this is when things went from bad to worse. When i called Vroom to get an update on the delivery of the car I purchased, they told me it could take up to 14 business days for it to arrive. Whoa that was a surprise so I had to rent a car in the meantime. I also had a significant amount of money owed to me since my vehicle was worth more than the car I purchased. I called them twice a week about the problem and I assure you every time I called the standard answer I received was we are looking into the matter and will get back to you within 72 hours Well its been almost as month and a half and still no resolution. This has been the most frustrating process I have gone through in regards to vehicle buying. I was sold a vehicle that did not go through an inspection prior to being sold. The vehicle had less than 2mm on brakes on it. With that issue caused the rotors to desperately need replaced. On top of this the throttle on the vehicle was broken. This caused the truck to break down and have me on the side of the road the day after I purchased it. I notified Texas Direct Auto, as well as VROOM, in regards to these issues. They have done NOTHING in regards to this. Every time I call I am assured the person is doing everything they can on their end, and nothing is ever accomplished. What is happening here is criminal. I have a case open with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles. I will update this review if any resolution is made. I had a great experience with Bernard who is the dealer and the finance guy at the end. I forgot his name. But I went in knowing what I wanted to spend, told him my credit history and said ABC if you cant help dont bother with nothing else. Yes, I was straight to the point. When I got there the next day, Maaaaan! Car note was lower for what I requested and all kind of warranty a person can ask for. It went so smooth still cant complain

I believe this was their main branch. Indeed, the setup was of much grander scale and definitely better staffed. The steps to get the car evaluated was clear. Little to no wait for the valuer to access and test drive the car. Also, going to the main branch does not mean the value is going to be higher.

This place is terrible now even though it used to be amazing. Went to trade in my 2014 Lexus GS Fsport, and the worst part was not the fact that they offered me less than what a dealership ended up paying me less than a few days later, it was the way the guy behind the desk barely gave me the time of day and treated me with a complete lack of basic respect. Extremely rude throughout, and even marked my interior as “average” when the Lexus dealer that bought it was super happy to find something so clean for a 2014. It would’ve been one of the nicest cars on the lot, as I looked around and found nothing special sitting around like they used to have. Looks like they are just buying cars with the highest profit margin at this point and have given up on the customer experience altogether. Despite me selling my last two or three cars there, I won’t be going back and will discontinue referring friends to buy/sell cars there.

I have mixed a review. I think if I had gone into the dealership it would have went much better than doing business online. With shortage of staff across the board with covid for Vroom it makes it hard on customers and staff. With this in mind I feel this has caused some training issues. Alot of the individuals I spoke with didnt know how to help me with a sales tax exemption. So I was transferred so many times and the deal to get to contact took 10 days. I went in the dealership instead of having documents delivered. Quicker to sign and get my car delivered. Tim Thomas was wonderful to deal with during the signing of our deal. Philp was welcoming and able to answer all of our questions. I know now how Vroom process works when we do our next deal. All dealerships and buying a car is not always perfect. Id say it was a little easier than a traditional dealership. Do your homework and ask a lot of questions is my advice. Read everything. Dont be afraid to negotiate your financing charges. Learn Vrooms process to be informed. Over all we got the vehicle we really wanted with terms we can live with!

I purchased a vehicle on Feb 24 which included the trade in of my old vehicle which I still owed money on. As of Mar 22 my old vehicle has still not been paid off. Multiple calls (4 separate days over the last week and a half) into their customer support line have been met with promises that the issue has been escalated however I have still not received a single call back with any update.

I bought a Toyota Camry V6 there, which started having massive issues (smell, suspension, A/C failing) in the first few months. Cost me $2,500 in repairs in first 6 months.A trusted mechanic opened the hood and in 5 SECONDS told me the car had been flooded (it was originally from Florida). He showed me tell tale signs of salt water exposure on the pipes around the engine. Also, there were signs of an accident on both sides of the car, but the CarFax was supposedly clean.Told me to ditch the car as soon as I could before something major like transmission goes. Will never go to this dealership again.Worst car purchase ever. Lost probably around 5K in repairs and lost value when I traded in the Toyota for a car at a different, honest dealer.

This place is really cool the way they have it set up. Youre met by a greeter at the door, then directed to the check-In where they alert your agent of your arrival. If youre test driving, then youre directed to the test drive station to have your license/Insurance copied and to wait for the arrival of the vehicle. They give you a wrist band and 30 minutes to Inspect/test drive the vehicle. Any Issues you find will be addressed before you leave with your new car. If its something that cant be done that day, then they offer you a rental until your vehicle is ready for pickup. My agent was Ro Doherty. SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Her and her team handled my car buying experience with grace, expertise, and determination. Where other dealerships and agents saw obstacles and gave up on me; Ro kept pushing for me. She made me feel like she was on my team and understood my situation. Honestly, if it wasnt for her persistence, I wouldnt have the car I wanted. And I cant thank her enough for being on my team 😁If you want things to go smoothly for you, then I strongly suggest doing the heavy work before you go to the dealership. Otherwise, you may experience longer waits. But if youre having it delivered, then it should go even quicker. I cant speak to that though. I opted to do pick-up since my vehicle was local. Pick-up will save you about $600 👍

Very bad customer service. Typical dealership cares while selling only, then when dealer tags expire was told 3 times would get a new one emailed never came. I was threatened when told was going to call TDMV and report the illegal activity. Plates and Title not transferred in timely manner. I understand Storms and Covid, but no effort to solve problem of expired plates, just transferred around more than 3 weeks on phone with empty promises after spending 50k. Vroom should be ashamed. Texas Direct Auto is a Terrible Dealership. Very serious warning for consumers.

Do NOT finance through Texas Direct Auto/Vroom!! The car has been fine but I got it when I needed it and was desperate to get something quickly. They completely took advantage of me and were not transparent at all about the financing or even the distinction between Texas Direct Auto/Vroom/Ally. Be careful of you could end up paying double what they tell you you’ll have to pay for your vehicle. They do not care about you, they aren’t looking out for you, they’re just trying to process as many transactions as they can.

I have been searching for a new car for nearly two years. I’ve been on numerous car apps and even car dealerships websites but I had no luck at all. My friend recommended Texas Direct Auto and I checked it out two days later. I ended getting at new 2017 Ford Fusion the next day! All black and low mileage. The staff are super helpful and are not trying to scam you! If your looking for a nice car that is not overpriced this is the place! I love my new Ford Fusion! Special thanks to Steve for his service!

Went in to buy a used car. When we went in they asked us to inspect the car several times. When we were inspecting the car I asked the sales associate if the tires were brand new or if they had been used. He told me they just put the tires on and that they were brand new. As a result, I took his word for it and ended up buying the car. After buying the car, washing it, and taking it in to get serviced I realized I had been lied to. When I washed my I car I found they had covered up several scratches on the car with some type of resin (they did this very effectively, I could not tell until I washed the car - I take responsibility for this). However, when I took the car in to get serviced they told me the tires needed to be replaced and that they were extremely worn down. I called Texas Direct Auto and a service representative told me that it was my fault because I inspected the car several times. I said that was fair but I asked the associate point blank about the new tires. The associate still told me that there was nothing they would do for me. They told me to contact my sales representative. I have tried contacting him several times but never heard anything back. When I call in I cannot get a response. Dont get me wrong, everyone was very nice and the process was straight forward. My only bit of advice would be to get the car checked by a third party before you buy it. Wish I would have done that in retrospect but it is what it is. Moving forward, I will get everything in writing.

After my wife’s car being destroyed by a hit run, we were on the hunt for a new vehicle. After some research, we decided to try out Texas Direct Auto. We enjoyed the lobby area and the refreshments, as well as the atmosphere over all.Only downside was that they restrict how many cars can be tested, which was limited to three. The Jeep we picked up runs well and was in great shape when we purchased it.
