Ive purchased two uppers from them both run perfectly. I had a couple of issues and Nick in customer service promptly replaced parts. Received the parts in less than a week both times. This was even more appreciated in these difficult times thanks Nick. Also a local business so thats another plus. Most the 1 stars are recent and people dont understand how hard it is for them to source parts right now.

I purchase a radical firearms 300 blackout ar pistol in January 2020, and it is great. It cycles every type of ammo I put through it, except Remington. It has an 8.5 barrel and people told me that it was a bad choice but I cant tell. It started with a buffer tube and I upgraded to a sba4 stabilizing brace, also added magpul backup sights, and a sig romeo5 red dot. Great firearm and good customer service. I would definitely recommend this company to friends.

I got a RF-15 and wasnt expecting much for how much they are but man it is a amazing rifle for the price close to 1000 rounds and no hiccups only time it ever malfunctioned was a bad magazine.Custmer Service is great theyll answer any and all questions you have about their products and are very knowledgeable about their product.I dont think youll find a better rifle at this price point way better than the other companys with rifles at this price point.
The customer service team was absolutely amazing. There were a few issues with the product when I received it. Unknown to the company, it was not in their control. Once I notified customer service of the issue, they were extremely helpful with all of my concerns and correcting the issue very quickly. Especially given the circumstances (COVID 19). I received my replacment parts and couldnt be any happier. I would recommend to anybody. I wish I could give 10 stars!!

I bought one of their AR15s a few months back and it exceeds expectations. Went by today to have a muzzle brake installed and, not only did they do it free of charge, they did it in less than ten minutes. Another Gunsmith in the area wanted to charge me $50 and said I could come get it the next day. Needless to say, very satisfied with the gun I bought (cycles fine even when dirty) and their awesome service. Whole lotta bang for your buck here. They’ve earned loyal customer.
Placed an order on 8/27. Still haven’t received it. Was told it would be 8-10 weeks. It’s going on 14. Was told 2 weeks ago my order would be shipping out the next week. Still nothing. Asked if I could get a refund. You guessed it. Nothing. Order from somewhere else.
This place is legit. I broke my .300 blackout upper receiver the other day, so I emailed them the next day and they responeded in like 15min. They said yea bring it on by and well take a look and sure enough they were able to fix and replace what I was doing. They will forever be the place I go to buy my rifles.

PERFECT RECOVERY & CUSTOMER SERVICEHad a part from my AR shipped back to the factory due to a bad upper. It was covered in the lifetime warranty and I was told send it in to get it taken care of. Unfortunately when they shipped it back the problem was not fixed.I emailed them and got a quick response (Branden replied on a Friday after working hours). He sent me an overnight label and and in a timely manner got back to me to tell me he made sure with his own eyes the problem was fixed and overnighted it back. Very happy with their products and the customer service you get with them. Its hard to find that today. Much respect for radical and the team they have there. mishaps happen but its about he you handle them. keep on keeping on.

I’ve owned a few radical firearms AR-15s and they have been excellent. Never had to deal with customer service, but I recently got an AR pistol from them and it’s been nothing but problems. Which I’m glad for the warranty. However, I’ve been waiting for a month now for them to send me a shipping label. This is crazy...
First of all i do understand that at these time the gun sales are true the roof, but i placed an order and they made it clear that it may 8 to 10weeks. I am ok with that because before placing an order they explain that. I placed the order to be delivered to my address in Tennessee but i came down to Houston for a visit and went to check and i prety much got ran off of there i do customer service and your supposed to at least lisent to some one and politely tell them to f off not cut them off in the middle of the CUSTOMER tryes to explain something and tell them just call the number online when when you call the number they wont answer. Well these was my first purchase with radical and so far the customer service has been a disappointment i hope the upper is worth it. Thanks

I’ve been a Radical customer since the early days, back when the internet was a buzz about cheap AR’s. I read a lot of reviews back then and decided to give them a try and see for myself. I have a lot of parts and some complete uppers made by these guys. I’d say the quality was good to start with, but has gotten better over the years. Their cheap adjustable gas block leave something to be desired, but hey, it’s cheap and it works mostly. Their hand guards have gotten nicer too, especially the finish (black coating). I have several and one older one that has a very chalky/matte finish that I don’t care for but I also have a newer one that has nice anodizing. I will say, I’ve never had a part from them fail on me. The barrels shoot well, too. I liked it better when they were small and dealt more directly with the customer instead of primarily as a wholesaler to distributors, but that’s business as it grows. Keep making nice stuff and don’t forget your roots.
So far I’m extremely disappointed with everything Radical and the retailers they use. Seems to be another American business that can’t do much about the substandard product they sell.My gun came new in the box but this looks like a factory reject to me.I’ve got another gun being delivered this week that I’m sadly prepared to deny at the FFL.I’m glad my new CMMG, Ruger, & Smith and Wesson arms aren’t in the same condition.

I bought this gun to go on a feral hog hunt in South Texas. I talked to Katy in Customer Service and she helped me tract my gun through the entire process! I highly recommend talking to her for service. The gun arrived in-time for the hunt. I mounter an optic and went to sight the rifle in and was VERY pleased. The fit and finish is on par with my Rock River Arms 5.56 that cost a lot more. Fit and finish was better that the .308 that I bought from Palmetto State Armory. It only took 5 shots to get it zeroed in at 100 yards with the last 3 shots making one ragged hole. I shot a 170lb sow with Barnes 110 VOR-TX ammo and she went down in one shot. VERY IMPRESSED

Ordered an upper from a nationwide retailer and was sent the wrong barrel. Radical firearms told me to come in and they swapped the barrel for the correct one. Customer service was great as always!
I bought a .458 SOCOM from radical. The upper was out of spec and could have exploded in my face with any shot. Luckily it only managed to fire a few rounds before frustration made me quit firing. I took pictures and sent them to radical. They had my rifle replaced in about 10 days total time. The new one works fine but does jam fairly regularly.Their customer service was quick and easily to work with, which is the only reason they got two stars. Their quality control is trash. You’d think they would pay more attention to what they send out considering the damage a malfunctioning weapon could cause.If I could do it again I’d spend the extra money on a better brand.
I asked for something as simple as replacement screws. Speaking with a gentleman named James I was promised said screws when I hadnt heard anything (without even thinking a hurricane and massive flooding was going on in the Houston area.) I sent an additional email to James asking for an ETA on these replacement screws. James with no complaining not even bringing up the fact that a hurricane and heavy flooding just hit the Houston area sent me a tracking number and even apologized for not being in the office didnt have to say there was a hurricane did not have to remind me of anything like that maybe his entire city was under water he simply replied very sorry havent been in the office were just now back work and provided me with the tracking number.Now I have dealt a lot of people in the gun industry and Any other industry for that matter. I have never dealt with somebody so selfless and dedicated to customer service. I had a fitment issue with the Radical upper and another brand lower and it turns out the buffer tube on the lower just needed some slight adjustment. They took a look at it on the spot, in person, at there shop. I would like to remind others that they technically didnt have to help me since I was using another brand lower, but they DID. James also explained the evolution of their quality control and manufacturing processes. I couldnt be happier. I will continue to support this local small business.
I had purchased my first Radical AR a few years ago and shot over 2k rounds through it no problems. But today I went to the range and shot a couple rounds and notice the casing would not eject. I took it apart and found that the gas key on the BCG was loose. Called Radical Firearms, spoke to James and explained what was going on, he asked if I was local and if so to bring it in. Long story short I took it in, they checked it out on the spot and gave me an updated version of BCG at no charge. Great customer service and they truly stand behind their products. And I definitely will keep purchasing and supporting Radical Firearms.
Bought 2 of there uppers from there website and after shooting a couple hundred rounds through one the forward assist started engaging the bolt carrier without being pressed. I called radical and they were super professional and courteous and took care of it no questions asked. I would definitely buy from them again.

Ordered a 300AAC upper on April 16, 2016. At time of order, there was a notification that there was a 6-8 week production time for that particular upper. Understanding that quality sometimes does take time, I chose to take the hit and wait it out.After 8 weeks of waiting I contacted customer service to inquire about the orders status. They informed me that the order had not even started production and that I would get a shipping notice when the order shipped out. Well, it is now June 30, 2016 and I have received no such notification (10.5 weeks since ordering).I have contacted customer service but my emails and calls go without response. I would cancel and place an order with the countless other companies selling comparable uppers, but customer service isnt responding and I have read horror stories about restocking fees and the likes (credit card was charged on day of order). Seriously considering reporting to BBB or disputing charge with credit card company.As a company, if you have a production delay be truthful about it or designate your products as out of stock. Customer service should be your number one priority, as they are your source of revenue. They give you business, so you best give them respect in return. Needless to say I am disappointed with Radical Firearms in every way and will not buy any of their products for a very, very long time.

He had it ready for me that day, along with some other free goodies.when I went to pick it up I accidently showed up 30 minutes before they opened, but they saw me and opened up shop so I could pick up my order.and the Product? shoots flawless.I will be back.

I called like 10 times and never got an answer and also emailed multiple times and got a response but it completely ignored my request to cancel my order. Here we are a couple weeks later. No refund. Only had one problem with my AR and they shipped the replacement part in less than an hour, great customer service, and how many companies will stand by their products and ARs with a lifetime warranty? Radical firearms is the only one Ive ever known of to have a lifetime warranty on parts or ARs.

Recently visited their manufacturing site in Stafford TX. All I can say is I am thoroughly impressed. Being a Chemical Engineer and my little brother being a Mechanical Engineer, we were very impressed with their work process and QC measures. Guns are very well made and come with a life time warranty. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the customers were taken care of. They earned two life long customers this weekend.

You cant beat the price and performance of these firearms. I paid $500 plus tax for an AR in 7.62x39. The cheapest AR I could find this round by another company was $750, and it had fewer features than the Radical. I was skeptical about reliability for such a good price, but my gun has done everything I have asked of it. Ive been hog hunting for about 2 years with a shotgun and have taken a dozen pigs, but never more than 1 in a single hunt. This AR extended my range and accuracy, and on my first hunt, I killed 3 hogs out of a single pack!Radical Firearms is a fast-growing company, and for a good reason. Their products and service, in shop and over the internet, are more than you would expect for the price you pay. If youre a lover of tactical weapons, give Radical a try and you wont be disappointed. But be sure to place your order in advance of whenever you plan on using the gun because they build every rifle to order!

Called early in the morning and the girl working the phone answered right away. Told them I was having trouble with the bolt carrier on AR pistol, and once I said I was from Houston they told me to bring it in. I went straight after work and they were able to help me right away. Great service real friendly staff. The replaced the bolt carrier group, test fired it and I was on my way with in 20 min of being there. Good job guys. Hell funny thing is I didnt even realize my AR had lifetime warranty. Very satisfied
Exceptionally poor customer service (or lack there of). I attempted to call and all I was able to get was voice automation which NEVER ended at a real person picking up the phone. Not one person answered the phone nor was I given the option to speak with a real person. I was able to leave a message but I will not hold my breath.I wanted to make a purchase but the immense difficulty I encountered when I wanted to speak with a real person was absurd. I just find it hard to believe with such a smaller company I would encounter the same issues as if I were calling AT&T.

Great staff and very helpful. Had some trouble with a rifle. I emailed their customer service department and they were quick to send me an RMA form. They got me back up and running really quickly. Ive had to do warranty work with other companies and it has taken me months to get something fixed. I will continue business with Radical Firearms for my future needs. If I could give Radical firearms zero stars I would. I placed an order 10 weeks ago and it still hasnt shipped. This is 2 weeks past their 8 week lead time. I have been waiting for 10 weeks!!! Initially the customer service rep said that it would be shipped in a few days. That was a week ago! Now they have stopped responding to my emails entirely. I am starting to wonder if my order will ever be fulfilled.Update: My upper arrived 11 weeks after I placed the order. 3 weeks past the expected wait time... The rail had scratches on it and one of the lugs on the bolt carrier is not properly staked. This company is a complete failure. Absolutely no customer service, you cant get ahold of them, and poor quality parts. Do yourself a favor and stick to the saying, Buy it nice or buy it twice. I wish I would have never even considered Radical Firearms when looking for a new upper.

Bought a 556 from my local dealership and shot it once and the charging handle was bent called radical hq and was told they will send me a new one and other parts for my gun been 2wks poor customer service
I purchased an AR 15 with a local dealer recently . I had an issue with the gun and quickly called the gun dealer . He gave tips and suggestions but nothing could be done. I took it upon myself to go to the manufacturer right in Stafford, Texas and these guys got on it right away and rectified my problem . Nothing is perfect including humans but these guys were right on it . Thanks a bunch!

Products are awesome
Several points to make 1. Instructed company to paint weapon and rebuild AR-15. Turned weapon over to them around June 2014. It took over 6 months for them to get around to painting it and it was painted the wrong color. Took over two more months for them to turn it around again but they finally got the color right after several phone calls to confirm the color choice. Should have been an easy job with information given 2. Butt stock was defective when returned to dealer. Had to replace it with an existing magpul stock they had. 3. Weapon was never tested properly and would not cycle properly. had to take weapon back to them again. gas block was deemed defective and replaced without informing customer. 4. Front sight was defective. front sight received without instructions. No sight tool received with expensive sights. I tried to manipulate the front sight with every tool at my disposal but couldnt move it. twisted off a troy sight tool in sight after all other options would not work. Took back to radical and armor removed debris from sight, could not get sight to move with troy sight, then when could not get it to move decided to grind down sight pin without informing customer and now the front sight wiggles slightly where as before it would not. basically ruined the sight. Left the front sight with radical for replacement but shortly after leaving the premises owner called and was very condescending on the phone so I immediately returned to radical to discuss. Immediately when entering the office of owner there was no gesture to shake hand so I forced the issue and extended my hand to greet in a professional manner. Owner promptly began to talk to me in a condescending way and said this issue was Libertys issue (the original gun shop who recommended radical). At that point I had had enough and let the owner know what I thought of his lack of professionalism and left. This is an extrememly unprofessional business
I bought an AR pistol in .300 AAC Blackout and it has been great! I waited about 6 weeks to get mine. Considering the price and quality the delay is understandable. So far it has functioned flawlessly with a variety of magazines and ammo. I plan on getting one in 6.5 Grendal later this year. Hopefully the prices wont go up.
I will say this I do believe that they do have a very good product, at a great price. My only drew back is that they have a very very very long wait time from the time you place your order until it finally shows up at your door. And there customer service is not to great when it comes to trying to find out information about your order once it has been placed. If they can fix these 2 issues I would not recommend any other place to buy your AR parts. Just be advised it will take 5 times longer to get your parts than at any other dealer, and if you want any information about how your order is coming once it has been placed, GOOD LUCK!! My order has shown in process or ready to ship for over a month now, and I was told over 2 weeks ago that it was pulled and in queue to build. regardless of how many emails I send they dont respond back. Oh and if you call and try to get info you are SOL there as well. They will not answer questions about orders already placed over the phone, they will only on occasion when convenient for them maybe answer an e-mail.

After waiting nine months, I finally for the complete upper that I ordered. Only to find out that it doesnt feed after two rounds. I figured out that the round was getting jammed on the feed ramp and I called, and emailed them about the program.After a few emails, I was able to send it back.They then said everything was ok and they saw no problems with it. I told them to take out some of the material on the feed ramps (whish they didnt want to do) and when I got it back, it worked like a charm.Thanks to Neil at radical fa!Way to get things done.P.S. Should have been a 5 star.
Purchased an AR-15 7.62x39 upper on November 23, 2015 and received it right before Christmas. Service at first seemed great and I loved the look of the rifle. Upon installing my bolt carrier group from a different retailer, the problems started. The bcg kept jamming and getting stuck. To me this was a safety isuue and radical agreed to return the rifle. I sent it back on my dime. Upon receiving the rifle, radical said they had no problems with it and that it wasnt in new condition. I had no chance of taking to to the range. I was then charged a restocking fee and a shipping fee. I had to get my credit card company involved to get a full refund. Ive heard good and bad about Radical, however I will never do any type of business Radical again.

I bought an AR upper assembly, and I was extremely let down by this company. The rail was excellent, but everything else about the upper was not (including the internals). The screws holding the rail came loose after about 50 rounds, and it was obvious that they had not been properly Loctited to keep the rail still; my rail shifted 2-4mm during the first range trip. The bolts (FailZero) gas rings wore out within 1,000 rounds. After replacing the gas rings, the bolt was still not cycling properly due to a loose gas block/gassing issue that had to be remedied at Radical. I wrote a review on their website detailing my experience with their products, but because I wrote a negative review, they filtered it out so that it does not display at all.Anyone whos looking for quality AR builds should look for a more reputable company.

I ordered a 16 mid length 556 upper from them and had to wait over 2 months. Then it shows up as a carbine. I sent it back, waited another week to week and a half. I finally went out to shoot it, and it is the most inaccurate AR upper I have ever shot in my life! My dads $250 upper from PSA walks circles around this piece of junk. Oh yeah, worst customer service I have ever had dealings with... Ever.

I bought an upper from them and had nothing but problems. I went thru all the normal checks and adjustments with two 100% good lowers and nothing worked.I emailed customer service several times and it was like pulling teeth to get them to check it out to see if something was wrong. They called me and said nothing was wrong and sent it back to me. The company sells junk and doesnt back up their product. Read other reviews in gun groups and they will say the same thing. If you are looking for a budget build go to PSA and buy from them.
I ordered a 458 socom for my son September 2018. Paid for in full.It is now February 2019 and still havent recieved it.
I had the same experience as Dan Smith. I wanted to return a handguard and first attempt was told by James we do not accept returns. I copied and pasted their return policy. Then and only then did they give me a RMA. They received the return handguard on October 31 2017. Since then it is December 8 2017 today and I all I have had is excuse after excuse for delays. Dan did give me the idea to contact the Texas AG. They have the handguard AND MY MONEY AND WILL NOT GIVE ME MY MONEY.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I ordered a 16 5.56MM SOCOM Radical Rail Upper Assembly and a WMD BCG from them, which worked great at first. After about 500 rounds, my AR-15 began to short-stroke. I know several gun-smiths and armorers, who all recommended I send the upper back to have it analyzed. Initially, Radical was very accommodating, even though I had to ship it back to Texas from Pennsylvania on my own dime. I was in contact with someone from Customer Service for about a week, however I was never able to get back in touch with anyone after the upper suddenly arrived back on my doorstep, without notice. I opened the box to find a note that said test fired, no issues. I attempted to call Radical several times, to no avail. Whats most frustrating is that every option on their answering service forces you to leave a message. None of my emails were ever returned after the rifle left their shop. None of my voice messages were ever acknowledged. It would have been nice to know what tests were performed. Seems like they put a few rounds through it and shipped it back. I will never deal with them again.

Total Fail. Ive waited 8 weeks for my purchase to be shipped and it has not. I have requested a refund and notified my credit card company. Purchase at your own rick as I think this company is a scam.
In 2014, Radical Firearms manufactured a massive bad batch of 16 barrels. Mine shot 12moa, and I spent hundreds of dollars in ammo and services diagnosing it. RF was aware of the problem, but avoided calls and deleted customers Facebook posts about the issue. I finally threatened to file with the Texas AG and out them in gun forums, then a rep named James Farinas finally responded. He promised hed reimburse me for my losses with a complete rifle. Over the course of nine months, the promises went on, but nothing was delivered. Finally, I told him that I was sick of delays, excuses and I just wanted a replacement barrel IMMEDIATELY. He sent me one. It shot 8 MOA... These are the biggest liars and scam artists Ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Never again.
Best rifle ever 7.62x39 ar-15
I have been trying to order a Ar15 from Radical Firearms from January 25 and still have not made contact with RF( Today is 02-04-15), phone call are only directed toward emails and when i sent emails, first they did not get my phone number,thought they were going to email me back, then i gave them my phone number and they sent me a email back saying they needed my area in usa, cause they did not want to contact me at a bad time, I just want them to contact me Period poor Customer Service. Guess they have enough bussiness with out mine..
Will never order from here again can never get in touch with anyone and they say they are out of a product i ordered after saying it was being put together i have been waiting 6 weeks and havent heard from them in over 2 weeks i email this with no reply never giving this sorry company money again and if i was you i would take your money somewhere else and after they told me they were out of my uppers another company just happend to get the same upper i ordered instock from rf starting to think they are a scam or they just giving me the run around but if i dont have my gun in by the 18th of this month call bbb and getting something done just stay away from this companyUpdate being i had to wait so long they are sending me a set of troy battlesights and a bcm mod 3 charging handle
I recently purchased my first AR. As a value conscience consumer, I did a lot of research and finally settled on a Radical Firearms rifle. After I received the firearm (which I purchased from a dealer, not directly from Radical) I took it out to shoot.It shot very well. I quickly sighted in my red dot and went to plinking. Unfortunately I was getting an issue with the bolt not catching and staying locked back after the last round fired.I reached out to Radical customer service and within 24hrs I had a RMA and shipping ticket to have the rifle fixed under warranty!! Every email I sent was responded to promptly (less than 2-3 hours!!) I even was bold enough to include a QD end plate and ask if theyd install it while they were doing the warranty repair, which they did!With this experience Im sold, and have already recommended Radical to several friends for their AR needs.Big shout out to James who was the CX rep who handled my case!-FredPortland, OR
Great bunch of people have bent over backwards for me and had stuff ready when they said and before in some cases support is awesome, also should you have any problems they will take care of it.
