We were at the Texas Gun Club for my Sons Birthday and we all had a wonderful time. Conveniently checked in by Mr. Andrew and 5star for his customer service. Our Ranger Mr. Kendall was the best..5star, he gave each one of us a quick 1st hand training in using the gun and surprised the birthday boy with a shot gun. Over all a wonderful and a refreshing experience. Can’t wait for our next visit to “Texas Gun Club”
Ill never shoot there again. Too loud even with ear plugs (they were in correctly). Range too short. No range master was ever seen. Ill go to Texas City next time.
Each time I go Ill learn something new. The staff are super supportive and knowledgeable with firearms and accessories. Mark, Carlos, Ken, and Peter will have you sit up right without having you to break the bank. Plus the members is so worth it.
Chris was awesome. The place is always clean and the staff is very helpful and fun to talk to. My family and I are comfortable here. It’s a professional, safe environment and great place to spend an afternoon.
My wife and I have been members here for almost a year now. Everyone has been extremely helpful and friendly when we come. We both got our carry license here and the instructor was excellent. I have used them to receive guns I’ve ordered online and they made sure the process went smooth and were quick to call after the gun arrived. I will definitely be renewing my membership.

Great range to go shoot, professional and clean atmosphere with plenty of classes if you’re trying to improve your skills. Kyler was a huge help at the range and when I had several firearms shipped to TGC from an online site. Awesome place!
Cannot give this place enough high praise. The people are all extremely professional, friendly, courteous, pleasant & helpful. Lovely members lounge with free coffee, soft drinks & private restroom. Gunsmith on site who is very helpful, knowledgeable & friendly. Great variety of classes. Gated parking lot. Could not be more pleased to have joined the Texas Gun Club! ❤👍👍
My girlfriend and I took our LTC course here a couple weeks ago. The place is top notch, very clean, with a very friendly staff. We had William as our instructor and he did a fantastic job. He was thorough, patient, gave great advice, he did not talk down to anyone or act like a know-it-all, he made the class very enjoyable and not intimidating, and you could tell that he is genuinely passionate about what he does. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone
My wife, daughters and I just finished shooting at Texas Gun Club. This place is top notch! Its clean, modern and welcoming (other than some gun clubs Ive been to). The staff were super friendly (shout out to Michele. She was awesome to work with!). The lanes have plenty of space between each other. They have both pistol and rifle (rifle up to a 50 cal). They are electronic so you can place your target exactly at the distance you want. You can even turn the lights to flashing like a squad car both in the booth and at the target. Tuesdays are police, fire, nursing and military appreciation day so no lane charge (although, Id still buy a box of ammo just to say thank you for being cool and so they can make a little money). This is a very family friendly range. I highly recommend this place for beginners to expert.

I go in to get my finger printed done for a LTC. Ended up buying a shot gun, plus some other items. Kyler was the young man who helped me and he was a pleasure to work with. Very help and well mannered. The young lady named Ana helped with checking the paper work for the gun purchase. She was a jewel. In all. My experience was grand. Even the young man who did my finger printed, witch I hate I didnt get his name. I will say. Ive found a new place to spend my money. They even have a gun range. 5 stars for sure. Recently came here for a firearm transfer, I had never heard about this location but I’m glad I did my transfer here. The location is nice, and the staff is very friendly, as I was going through my process, they showed my son some gun safety tips and made us feel at home. Will probably sign up for a membership next time I come over. I highly recommend this place.
1st time visiting Texas Gun Club today and I have nothing but praise for this establishment. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and clearly love what they do and where they work. Upon arrival, I had a panic attack because the wife and I drove from way across town and when we got our guns out of the truck, a staff member told us our rifles had to be carried inside with a rifle case, which I dont own. To my relief, she then told us they have them for sale inside or we could borrow one, so I went ahead and bought one. They have a great selection of firearms and accessories, and although they are a little low on ammunition, so is everyone else these days. My only complaint is that they are not closer to where I live, but if they were, Id probably spend all my time and money there. We will definitely be back.
I walked in this place and not a single person working here greeted me. There were three guys behind the counter and they continued to converse amongst themselves. I walked around browsing and not one person asked if I needed help or even said hello. Maybe it’s because I’m a woman and was alone. I am not sure but I own multiple firearms and use a range regularly. I needed ammo and want a revolver. I can’t spend money where I don’t feel welcomed. At least I did get my prints. I thought I could kill two birds w one stone but I’ll buy my items where the staff actually looks forward to customers.

This was my first experience using a gun/pistol and I chose Texas Gun Club to be my first since they had a Groupon coupon. I really don’t regret coming here at all.Miles took care of me and my partner. He taught us basic of safety and how to manage a pistol. Then, he took us to the range and we practice how to shoot. He had a loot of patience with us.Overall, it was a great and professional environment even with the front staff.Thank you guys!

Terrible place yo spend your money if you are a black person. Walked in to take the LTC class and didnt get any help for over 15 mins person at counter standing in front of me walked off and went behind other counter with 3 other people talking. And white person walks in and gets immediate attention and I spoke and still got ignored. Lady finally came to help me then I walked out. I would dare spend my money with a business like this and Im a business owner.

I love the 50 yard long range they have. Erick, the associate working the desk was extremely helpful. My CZ P10C was firing a bit off and when I expressed my concern, he immediately went out of his way to have a look, used his own ammo, and even took a fresh target to check what was wrong. He had the gunsmith inspect my firearm and it turns out the guide rod spring had come loose and was sticking out. They adjusted the screw, and did this all on their own time without charging me. These guys treat you like family here. Thats why I drove 30 miles from spring just to come to this range.
I’ve been looking for a really nice indoor range and Texas Gun Club is the place for me. I love the great customer service that me and my family have received for the past 2 years. I was asked to wear a mask to come in for my IdentiGo appointment, but staff are NOT wearing masks! FedEx delivery came through without a mask as well. Just be aware, doesnt seem like they are taking Covid-19 precautions.

This place is amazing. I have been going since purchasing my first firearm. The place is very clean, and everyone has been willing to help you.The “First Shots” class is also a very intuitive 1 hour class I would recommend to anyone that wants to know the simple basics. I will be looking into purchasing a membership.

Terrible customer service. Nobody greeted me or helped me when I walked in. Also nobody in here was wearing masks (its a pandemic come on guys!). I like guns but that doesn’t mean I stop caring about mine and others safety! DO NOT COME HERE
I went into the store for my first time today. I had emailed them a few days ago about sighting in a rifle that I had purchased. The email response was come on in and well knock it out while you wait. I assumed the wait would be long, but I went anyway.When I stepped into the store, I was immediately impressed. Tall ceilings, very organized, and a ton of people in the store. I figured there had to be something good going on here. I walked up to the counter and asked for help. I was escorted to the area I was looking for and was given information about all the products I was interested in. I was able to make an informed purchased with the help of the employees. Everyone was very polite and my check out was quick, even with a line. As far as this place is from my house, Ill definitely be back for future purchases. I definitely recommend.

Really nice range... Employees not wearing masks, big turn down.
Such a disappointment. No social distancing in effect (we were placed directly next to others in the range, when they could have easily spaced us out) employees wearing masks pulled down below their chins less than six feet away from you, absolutely no functioning AC, hand sanitizing stations filled with sticky aloe based sanitizer and complete disorder in their entrance/sign up process- we spoke to three employees who promised to be with us in just one minute while helping every other person that walked in after us. Do NOT recommend.
Went in for the first time today. Very nice range, the check in process was simple. I liked the digital target retrieval used in the freedom range. FYI you have to press the touch screen hard for it to work, once you get used to that its smooth sailing. The staff were all friendly. This will be my go to spot from now on. Id definitely recommend this place.Not sure whats up with these negative reviews about discrimination. Im not Caucasian and was treated just fine.

Bad experience. Each time i go in it takes forever. l left a gun on consignment. I was told by Chris Lewis that I would be paid in 48 - 72 hours after the gun is sold. The gun was sold on Thursday 9/17. Today I FINALLY was able to get April, the business manager, on the phone. She told me I would be paid on the 15th of October. I explained that her retail staff all gave me different answers. She was very unconcerned. When the craziness of the election is over, a lot of gun stores will go away like in 2008. They will be one of the stores that go away in 2021. Right now it is way too easy for bad gun retailers to survive.
The friendliness of this staff here is unbelievable. I’ve been to many gun stores and this by far is the best one. The cleanliness of the whole store and the ranges is spectacular. The 3 ranges are very nice. You can walk in knowing nothing about guns and they will answer any questions you have even if it’s a stupid one. They’re there to educate and help with anything. Great prices on guns, accessories and their range pricing is great too!
I took my son for the first experience of shooting. I was hesitated at the beginning. But it turns out to be the best experience we have after Xmas. The people are so nice and patient. We took the class, which is well worthy of it. Both my son and myself are enjoying it very much. We felt calm and welcoming. When we left, my son asked when we will come back. IAM sure that it will be very soon!

I feel this facility being so close to home and being so very accommodating to our groups needs may encourage me to join. We were greeted with friendliness and enthusiasm the very moment we entered. Very nice facility. Upon entering, I was greeted by a number of employees all friendly. Even their dog came to greet me. The staff was knowledgeable and Harry helped me with shooting (I do not regularly go shooting but I know my basics). The range is pretty clean and the bays are easy to use. As with weapons selections, they do offer a variety of pistols, though I feel that they could have a tad more selection with their long rifles. Other than that, one of the best gun ranges I’ve been too. Will come back soon.
Amazing idea bringing in Jason for the Gunslinger Academy. He was intuitive enough to offer a Tuesday basic class (included) for those that arent quite ready for Tier 1. Jasons knowledge and training methods have definitely improved my shooting. These classes are a huge success thanks to Jasons skills and his ability to teach different levels of shooters. Its not easy! Cant thank you / him enough !
Everything is clean and neat but there is a 2 dude in the front counter and office lady not wearing in the mask when speak to customer and they enforce wear mask to publics and posted wear your mask. The fort bend county and city should enforce the mask law this place please...!!!!
Extremely prejudiced staff, at least for the day that we had the misfortune of having to visit Identgo in the establishment.I visited the store with my dad to get fingerprinted and asked the asian guy behind the counter if I was in the correct place to get fingerprinted, I needed help due to having eye surgery a day prior, and this guy very rudely and angrily asked me what does it say!.I would have noticed his nasty disposition before hand, if I was not basically blind due to just having surgery, and just left this guy alone, but I was unfortunately a victim of a wannabe bully who decided to take his hate out on someone who could barely stand at the time.This negative review is NOT towards the lovely staff in Identgo, but is totally directed towards the extreme prejudice staff member working at TEXAS GUN CLUB. The person working for this establishment was not only a hate filled person, but a coward looking to pick on someone wearing surgical eye gouges.

I bought my first gun here a couple weeks ago, and was very impressed with the knowledge and the value of safety they had for handling and conducting business. Everyone was extremely helpful, and I definitely recommend signing up for their beginners class, if you’re new to guns.
Friendly staff and I used rifle lanes. Up to 50 yards. Cleaned and organized at texas gun club. Ac is definitely working at it best cause it was freezing cold. Staff was very helpful and welcoming.
First visit at this range today. As soon as you walk in, you see displays of merchandise, including pistols. Firearm selections are adequate for average enthusiasts. I was greeted by a very courteous and informative staff, who took my drivers license and and let me fill out a release of liability and range policy forms. I asked for a 50 yard lane, as 25 yard lane has a 20 min wait. The range was clean and the ventilation is excellent. I did not see a trace of smoke from my gun. The target system is from Action Targets, which is easy to operate and you can dial in exact yards, feet, or meter. Lighting of my lane was good, except at 40-50 yards, it was too dark to see the target. They let me pick up my own brass and rapid fire is allowed. I highly recommend this range for beginners and experienced shooters alike. I did not get a chance to ask if they have a certification where a shooter will be allowed to draw from holster, like Athena Gunn Club does.

Not worth coming here. I showed up recently with my father with 25 minutes before they closed and they charged us for an Hour each and then maybe us stop shooting 10 minutes before closing. Today we went again, it was pretty empty. We paid extra to shoot on the Freedom Range and the moment that we hit an hour they came an told us they were filling up and we had to pay an additional hour or leave. I looked over an saw one other person on the range. I would never come here again. Lots of other ranges that are better and friendly. Don’t waste your money here.
The staff there is awesome helpful and polite they treated us like family and made me and my family feel welcomed. I also bring my people here and they have the same sentiment. This is my new spot now

Great range and people! Extremely helpful staff. I took a class with Will Wornardt, and it was comprehensive and enjoyable. He is a great instructor. The prices at this club are very competitive, whether it is a class or range time.
I literally think anyone reviewing this place lower than 4 stars simply just didnt get their way. Cant believe how friendly they were here. The staff were all super nice to me and never once did I feel like I was not being treated fairly.I also took a class here and had a decent time with it. Instructor was good and while I didnt care for the sales pitch in insurance, the rest was fine. Would recommend if you are looking to get your license you go here as you wont be disappointed.Is it in a weird location so dont feel like you are lost when you are looking for it. Its a nice building and very clean inside. Highly recommend.
I took my son there for his first range day. He had a one on one lesson with one of the instructors who taught him gun safety, how to handle, load and fire the pistol. The instructor was excellent and explained things in a way appropriate for my sons age. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the facilities were great. Will definitely be back.

Great place to shoot. Nice well cared for range and great customer service. Gunsmith seem knowledgeable and did a good job on my weapon. Fair priced not the cheapest but not the highest. Many training opportunities and events.
I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. I have been to several gun ranges, but none that even come close to Texas Gun Club. I can see why it is referred to as a club and not a range because this place is awesome. I have definitely found a new permanent range to go to! To all the staff, job well done!

I’ve been to most of the gun ranges in the Houston area. This one is the best of the bunch. Clean, new, modern, with a great staff. I look like a terrorist. It is what it is. But the staff couldn’t have been more nice to me and my son. We had a great experience. Rented a full auto 300 BLK. What a nice time! Highly recommend this range.

Came mid March to have my Marlin Glenfield cleaned and refurbished. Paid in advance (around $350) out of good faith and was told it would take TWO WEEKS. It is now nearly TWO MONTHS later. I was called a week + ago that the coating was off and they wanted to work on it some more, to be patient and that it would take two more days. It’s been a week since and no calls on update. I called once a week the first month to get updates and was given about the same update. I figure this place is trusted per the reviews but I fear something went wrong.This gun is a family heirloom...Depending on how the manager handles this, ill adjust my review.As of now I absolutely do not recommend using their gunsmith.

Made two trips and did not get assistance, acknowledgement, or eye contact from the staff. The store has some nice displays like the sofa, chairs, and military pieces. Don’t forget to sign the book for George W. Bush. I like that the rooms have Texas themed names, fully auto weapons for rent, and dedicated gun smith area. Limited inventory on rifles - which was the reason I made the first visit. The second visit was to show a vet the cool Texas themed gun store. But unfortunately he was ignored as well. Plenty of parking, snack room/break room, and a nice display of some vintage rifles on the wall.
Edit: November 13, 2017:Had my first experience here today and I have to say there was nothing I didnt enjoy. Fair prices, great staff and the showroom is gorgeous. Not to mention the lanes were modern, clean and had great acoustics. My only criticism is the $2 rental fee for hearing and eye protection. Yes, its nominal, but I cant see too many customers paying this more than once before everyone just brings their own. Aside from that, 5 stars all the way!
I recently moved from Philadelphia and my friend came down to visit. I took him out to dinner with a few coworkers and everyone kept saying you dont have a gun. So we did some research a found this place. Both of us never shot a gun before. We met the general manager Jeff and the target range specialist Carlos, they walked us through every step and made it a very memorable experience. Coming from the East Coast we were taught that guns were bad. Meeting these two and the fellow that came through the range that helped us a lot(did not get his name) taught us a lot about proper gun handling and safety. These guys are amazing. For anyone new to this. This place is awesome, start by going here and talking to the people here, everyone was amazing. Thank you to everyone at Texas gun club for providing such a pleasant experience.
Was finally able to visit the range today and am very impressed! Ashley and the other staffs were very friendly. I really liked how reading/signing the waiver is done on an ipad. The range itself was very nice. Modern look, good ventilation and sound proofing. They also have a 50yard indoor range! This is now my favorite indoor range in the Houston area and ill be back for sure.
Been coming here for years . Love the range, but $54 for a ffl transfer ? Smh. Sure don’t remember the price that high last time I had something transferred. Honestly falls on me for assuming they wouldn’t price gauge and not checking first.
Great place to come and practice some shooting! Staff is friendly down to earth and very helpful. Came in to do some shooting and Chris Lewis helped me out and at they end I even ended up getting another gun! Prices are super affordable and they even do payment plans! Overall a great experience!

I went here today... And I had a great time being around good people and they r very professional... I was 3 guys I talked with Chris, and there was another young man and most of all the guy that worked in the back in the shooting area.. I forgot his name... But, he was so wonderful, kind and so, so helpful...These 3 guys r the readre that I will feel so comfortable to always go back... I felt like they were friends I meet in one day... If I could give them 1,000 stars I would... I truly appreciate guys like them it made my day so much better... I highly and truly recommend them if u want to be around good people with great attitudes.... This would be the place to come to......

1st time visitor. Took my 12 year after seeing a groupon for it and realizing it was close (Stafford). Mark was really helpful and clearly saw we were not regulars. After getting all our materials, he took us through a pretty thorough training on how to hold the gun, how to load the magazine and yes even how to shoot. He stayed and helped my son with his posture and aim. I was personally too 🐔 to shoot but my son gad a great time! Nice and clean environment.

My go-to range. I got my license to carry here, I live within walking distance, and the pricing is competitive and fair. The staff are super accommodating and the atmosphere is relaxed. They have lots of events and cater to the millennial crowd quite well (in my opinion).
