Sharing my experience with you all about the worst towing experience. The towing costed me $312. And they towed my car and damaged my left side of the bumper/under the car. When confronted for damages they claim that the car was all good and by showing me the right side of the car.So be sure to check you car right after the towing, they will cheat anyway but just being aware of the damages a head of time might help getting a proper resolution and avoid getting cheated.East Coast Towing Company can you provide me with proper evidence .i.e. image of the left side of the bumper?

One of the most horrible body shops my car has been to. First I asked first for all original parts to be put back on to my car. I had 18K worth of damage and they didn’t get nothing right. Second they never gave me both of my license plates back they only gave one. And when I called to ask about my plate a nasty rude lady gave me a attitude they whole time. I would not recommend this place to no one !

Very unprofessional the driver hooked my truck and when I gave him the address to were my truck needed to be tow he told me he couldnt bring it to my yard why he couldnt told me that before hooking my truck and I got stuck because they left the truck in their yard for 2 day and today my truck was supposed to be in my yard by noon time so I call for an eta and now they are living with my truck to my yard very,Very bad service stay a way from this company

I had no choice but to use this towing company because the city of Stamford had to call due to my vehicle being in a construction zone. They charged an extra $140+ for labor and no keys. They also claimed the service had taken an hour, with extensive work. It is known that they arrived on the scene at 10 am and I was outside by 10:15/10:20 am to my car already being gone. East Coast Towing takes cash only, as well. They gave us a bit of a hard time when asking for copies of the invoice before paying, and also asking for a paid receipt. Both my boyfriend and I have reported them to the BBB and the city of Stamford Mayor. East Coast Towing seems to be unprofessional, mean and there seems to be a pattern of taking full advantage of people and pricing especially with towing.

1) Person at front desk was extremely unprofessional and not helpful. Kept adding prices that was not foretold to us when paying the bill and only accepted cash which was sketchy.2) We come from the NJ area, so for the car to be towed there would cost a lot. We left the car with them to take and still paid a hefty amount with minimal to no options left.I recommend not using their services unless you want a difficult time.

Scammed me for additional services. We hid a camera in the car. Recorded audio of them talking about how to sell us stuff we didn’t need like brakes...???? I was in for a battery change. This company is also being sued if you look them up with the city of Stamford.

My car was towed by this company after an accident and I had the worst experience . I called to find out how much it would be to tow my car there and the nightly rate for car to stay there they said 88 and 24 per night. When I got there to pick up my car they started adding fees to my bill.They wanted to junk my car and give me nothing for it.I found a place willing to pay me for it when I went to pick my car up they added even more fees cause they wanted my car for free . horrible customer service.One tow and 3 nights (outside fenced) =$419 . Dont go there !

1. Car took 1 month to repair, thats fine but with that time I expect everything to be perfect, it is most definitely not.2. Everything looks good when I pick up the car. One of the replaced headlights is fogged up so he says he will order a replacement and call me when it comes in. 2 weeks later I call asking about it, he says yeah its here come by whenever you want.3. Car vibrates harshly at idle, especially with A/C running. When I bring it for the headlight replacement I tell him. I also say it seems like a problem with the engine mounts (I have some knowledge of cars). He says he will look at it. I come back to pick up the car with new headlight and he says they cant find a problem. Guy says maybe the idle RPM is too low (if you know anything about cars, you understand how absurd this statement is).4. OK, they are clearly incompetent and I take the car to a shop local to me. They inspect and tell me the engine mounts they replaced they used after market brand. The part they installed was a solid piece of rubber and the OEM engine mounts are filled with oil (to absorb the vibrations). So I get my insurance to pay this new shop to replace them for me.5. It is now 1 year later. They did a terrible job with the paint. I have driven about 10,000 miles in this years time and there are more chips in the hood and bumper then my car did when they repaired it with 65,000 miles on it.6. Also, the A/C no longer works in my car. Upon inspection I see the A/C line (high side) they replaced was installed too close to the radiator. After a year of driving it rubbed on the radiator and put a hole in the line. Now I have to replace the line and evacuate and recharge the system.7. They broke my car key. I just found out when I went to change the battery they put it back together with crazy glue.OVERALL: Dont go here. I only went because I am from NY and I was hit by a drunk driver in CT. My insurance refused to recommend me a shop since apparently they are not legally allowed to recommend. So I left it with the shop that towed me from the accident. Big mistake... Live and learn, hopefully I can save you some headache with this review.

My husband and I were involved in a 4 car accident that wasnt our fault. However, the police had the 3 cars including mine that werent at fault towed by this company because thats the closest service they used. In all the chaos, I left my iPhone in the car. We know it was in there because the police told me there was an iPhone in there but theyre not allowed to remove anything from inside our car. We went there the next morning to get the car, my iPhone and other personal belongings:1) They only accept cash, no credit cards or checks & they refused to give us the car till we came back with cash - thats a very shady way of running a business2) They told us the car wasnt driveable at all and that wed have to pay to have it towed back to our house. If we left it there, it would be $50 a day. The manager was very hesitant to have us come back to check the car which also raised our suspicions. When we demanded to see our car, they let us into their yard. My husband started the car and it started just fine.3) My iPhone was stolen out of the car by whoever towed our car, we know this for a fact. We told this manager that my iPhone was there because the police told us they saw it in there. He got extremely defensive and belligerent with us and then went into his office and completely avoided us. We had no choice but to go back there with cash to get our car. When we went back later that day, this manager saw us and he ran and hid in his office again till we left - in my experience, people who behave this way means that theyre a bunch of thieves and they know it.My husband and I had enough drama to deal with that day. These people made it worse. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE AND DONT USE THEIR SERVICES.

East Coast Towing is a total ripoff! They charged me to get groceries from the car, $50, picking up pieces of the accident from the road, $125 and speaking to insurance agent, $90...DO NOT let these ripoff artists anywhere near your car!!!!

Awful place, my Jeep got towed here and they put a cheap radiator with wrong parts that exploded forcing me to pay close to $1000 for their mistake. They put 2 radiators in my Jeep in one year that went bad. Never bring your car here!!!

Thieves that are unable to even make eye contact with you after they rob you which indicates that they are aware they are being dishonest but too weak to do the right thing which proves that they are also gutless. Summed up Dishonest weak and gutless. I guess typical for a crook
