A beautiful store, lots of inventory and showroom is gorgeous! The lady behind the front desk, I believe her name is Valerie, she was an exceptional worker! Very friendly. Extremely helpful. And made my experience so much better! She said shes new there but seemed like shes been there for a while! Definitely a fast learner and a good addition to their staff!

There are no words to appropriately describe how amazing my experience has been with both Safavieh in Stamford and the Wagner Delivery Team. The fact that my entire house is filled with Safavieh furniture and other decorative items sends the strongest statement. If I could give 10 stars, it would still not be an adequate reflection of how happy I am that I stumbled upon this amazing store when I first moved to CT. I remember the first time walking into this store, that I knew nothing about and my eyes lit up as I looked around in awe. It was at that moment when Margaret walked up to me and asked if she could help me that I knew I was in the right place. Over the past 3 years I have worked with Margaret at Stamford Safavieh, Wagner from delivery, Arturo from customer service/repairs and many others who gave me one of the most exciting experiences of my life. The staff in the Stamford mall location is great but unfortunately they are not able to help after you place your order. We were told our furniture would be delivered in 10 days. After a month of calling and following up everyday, begging for a manager or supervisor to call us back we still haven’t received a call. Our emails and voicemails are just ignored. Go to the store to look then order on Amazon, so much easier, quicker and hassle free!

When I went furniture shopping today, I did not anticipate being yelled at for asking a question. This is what I experienced from Margaret McSharry, the Head of Design for Safavieh.We recently purchased a condo in the area and were looking to furnish basically the entire thing. I entered this store and no one greeted me. Knowing that I had large purchases to make and would need a lot of assistance, I approached two women talking to each other at the desk. After explaining what we were looking for, one woman gave me her card and said “Well I’ll send you off to explore. If you need anything just ask!” Cool. We were there for about an hour and a half with no further assistance. We were looking at a sectional and were wondering about the sizing options when a man walked by. We asked him about sizing and he answered our questions.Later, we approached the first lady I talked to at the door with a question about dining room chairs. I said “Can I ask you a quick question?” She raises her voice and says “I don’t know, CAN YOU? You really need to wait for {the other man employee} to help you, since you want to talk to him. You were talking to our other agent... you should have come to me if you had any questions. But yeah I guess I can answer your question, what do you want?”WHAT DO YOU WANT? I want to spend money in your store?? I said “oh never mind” and she says “okay then” and turns around and walks away.Her behavior and volume was truly harassment. I assume she didn’t want me talking to the other agent as a commission thing? But no one got commission on a sale that was easily tens of thousands of dollars and I wasted two hours of my life, so I don’t understand what she was trying to accomplish. I was ready to escalate this to a supervisor when I checked the card She gave me and realized SHE was their Head of Design. I cannot fathom why this horrible woman would be in charge of any type of customer relations. It was a really bad look.

Good in-store experience - we especially enjoyed the treasure hunt downstairs into their floor sample sale area. Delivery team was nice and efficient.

The General Manager was incredibly helpful and kind. I think his name was Vahid. Thank you for an amazing experience. The store was also extremely clean and organized. We are looking forward to freshening up our home with the new additions Vahid helped us pick out. No doubt we will be back and recommending Safavieh to everyone!

Placed an order for a couch on May 30th (during COVID), was promised an expedited delivery (8-12 weeks). After 12 weeks of silence, I reached out to them to learn that the couch wont be ready for another 6 weeks, estimated delivery end of September 2020- almost 18 weeks to get a couch! Had the sales person disclosed that upfront, I would have purchased a couch from Raymond and Flanigan and had it within 3 business days! This is unacceptable!Guess what- the couch hasnt been delivered yet and its 10/1/2020!Apparently it didnt pass the inspection and it wasnt shipped to me... So Ive been waiting for my couch for 20!!!! weeks now.... I can not believe that someone has to wait for 20 weeks to get a couch... How is it even possible? VERY VERY VERY UPSET WIT THIS PURCHASE...

Nice place. The clerk of the rugs was rather cold. They ladies of the furniture were pleasant but rugs bright the score down. I still have to go back to purchase but at least they said they could do better on their drastically inflated pricing.

I bought original carpet in Danbury store with Elena. She was great to work with! Unfortunately after I made purchased, rug was out of stock. I went to Stamford store and found another rug. They doubled the price of new rug on me. When I called Elena she gave me the correct price. Beware of manager of rug store in Stamford!

Huge store, beautiful & different home furnishings. So happy I went inside. Inspired to buy new furniture & art!

We needed a small inexpensive table for the porch. We found one immediately and the price was right. The salesperson was pleasant and knowledgeable.

We purchased a bed in this store and didnt know the headboard was coming with a whole big piece. The headboard is too big to pass through the stairways. The regional manger Joe helped us solve the problem by hiring a third-party furniture dissemble service. Overall, the furnitures are great, but do pay attention to the size and get clarification before you made the purchase.

Bought many furnitures from them ten years ago for my first house. Now got more from them for my second house. Both Manhattan, Glen Cove and Stamford stores are fantastic. All managers there are very helpful! They carry many items in their showroom, it’s very important nowadays you don’t want to buy high end furniture by just browsing pictures on the internet. And the managers all gave us suggestions on what furniture to choose and how to match them, super nice experience!

Beautiful upscale furniture and finishing store in downtown Stamford. Browse for decorating ideas. The upscale furniture is very expensive. If you have big bucks this is the place for you. We admired a mid-sized chandelier until noticing the price ... $3,020 !!

This store is HORRIBLE!! I ordered a chair. Waited three months to get it. Never updated on approximate delivery date. Then finally scheduled. Delivery department was inept. Delivery drivers were inept. AND THE PRODUCT WAS WRONG. Called the salesperson. She never called me back. I called her again. She said they made a mistake. I asked her for a refund. Still waiting on. Horrible products. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience. Try another store. I’m going to Connecticut Design Center in Norwalk now. Should have done that the first time.Update: New store manager called me and asked me to remove this review! Offered to give me a loaner chair. I suppose that was a nice offer.I just think Safavieh has gotten too big and does not have the systems in place to measure or quantify customer satisfaction.

Absolutely in love my new outdoor chairs. Lola helped me pick out 2 sets the one located in New Rochelle she was very helpful and patient on what I had in mind.

Very nice place to shop. We worked with very helpful sales staff Fernand in the showroom. He helped us to find the best size of spring box and beds. He also provided much needed advice on what would and would not fit in our space (something else I’m not good at). We had our heart set on a couple of things that ended up not being ideal for our available space, so it was great to find that out then and not once we got ill-fitting pieces of furniture in our house. Definitely helped us to get the furniture ontime.I think we were able to get good, quality furniture at a good price. More importantly, they have very good custom service（Thanks for store manager val）. The furniture needs to be delivered within a certain period of time. Because the guest will arrive early, the delivery time needs to be advanced. . Furniture needs to be delivered within a certain period of time. Due to guests early arrivals, early delivery is required. Furniture couldn’t arrived on time without their helps.If you are looking for furniture, I highly recommend Fernand specifically. He makes all the difference!

Great selection but very pricey

Such an unpleasant experience after walking in so excited to shop. If I described what happened to us, you wouldnt even believe it was real. I feel the issue has to just be with the woman we dealt with. The entire staff cant be so obnoxious and elitist. We did find beatiful furniture and rugs we would have bought, had it not been for the way we were treated. Moving on...

Unless you are a huge commission dont expect them to help you in any way whatsoever. After I said I was looking for a 6 by 9 for around $500 he pointed to the back wall and walked away. Its like IKEA with higher prices. The only redeeming quality is the selection and variety and sizes allowed me to confirm I needed a smaller rug than I originally thought. A big f u to them ever seeing a $1 from me. A shame as its a nice space just terrible service.. Avoid.....

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE AND PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE, lairs from regional manager down to sales . Horrible customer service, waited for the furniture for several months, arrived defective furniture, will not response to calls and emails, completely different reasons for the problem every single time. I went to the Home Show at Chelsea Piers last Saturday primarily to find some help to design my small studio apartment. I needed help maximizing the small living space with a style and natural flow. I met Margaret McSharry - Showroom Manager from SAFAVIEH and explained my needs. She understood exactly what I need and invited me to meet one of the designers at the Stamford store. There was no pressure and I felt she was warm, kind and trying to help. A few days later I called the store and Margaret arranged me to meet with an interior designer Barbara Krantzler.Before my appointment, Barbara asked if I could bring the floor plan and dimensions of my current furnitures. So she can see the exact living space what would work. When I met with Barbara, it was like planning with another family member. She was so through, thoughtful, passionate and cared about my needs. She was brilliant in utilizing the limited space and how best to place furniture without compromising the style. When we finished, she show me the new design concept that would work so beautifully and I was blown away by her design insight, talent and great personality!My whole experience at SAVAVIEH was so fabulous!!! They have the great people working there and have the most beautiful, unique and tasteful home furnishings!!!!
