I made the mistake of buying a mattress online, missing out on trying mattresses and more Importantly, getting expert perspective. Greg has knowledge, experience and care for his customers. We learned so much about the different brands and mattress styles for our needs when visiting the OG store. He takes safety and cleanliness very seriously and made sure we are informed buyers. While my replacement mattress will have to be processed online, I know exactly where to go for my next mattress.

I Had the very lucky pleasure of working with Greg at the Old Greenwich Ct location . We have an elderly father going through hip surgery who happens to also be extremely tall, and needed a bed solution that would work for a complicated situation as fast as possible . Greg empathized, asked the right questions, took time to locate the best and fastest to arrive items, and finally presented two options that both ticked off all the boxes . We were not oversold, or rushed - and overall Greg was absolutely professional and kind . Incidentally he is managing the location as a temporary store manager while still being an assistant . I happen to be a former retail district manager, and I can only hope Mattress Firm realizes the rare jewel they have in Greg .At a time when retail is turning online, Greg is the type of employee that brings customers to brick and mortar locations - and that is no small feat .

Went yesterday to the downtown Stamford store as I wanted to change the size of my mattress. I really loved my present one called Sleepy Cool which I had purchased a few years ago so I was looking for the same brand. David the store manager showed me the newer versions, but also a few other mattress that were similar! In the long run I appreciated David’s knowledge and guidance in helping me to choose a Tempur-Adapt Medium!I had mentioned to David what I appreciated in the mattress that I had was it’s coolness, which would also be in my new one, so David brought to my attention the Purecare Softcell Hybrid Pillow which has a soft side and a cool side! So we purchased two and my wife and I both enjoyed them last night, amazed at how cool they really were!All in all a good experience and would recommend the downtown Stamford Mattress Firm and the assistance that we got from David!

Dean was very attentive and showed me different options that fit my needs and were within my price range. Go here if you want to waste hours of time IN the store and AFTER your purchase.I went to this Sleepys in search of a new bed. I picked the bed out in 10 minutes and wasnt out of the store for another two hours because their IT systems kept crashing or behaving erratically. They set me up with an interest-free payment plan from GE Capital. I figured hey, why not? I had the cash, but time is money, and interest-free is good.I regret that decision. The (possibly intoxicated, certainly incompetent) salesman entered the wrong name (used my middle name as my last), the wrong address, and the wrong birth date into their system. I never received any mail from GE Capital. Eventually the collections department from GE Capital called. They were very nice, cancelled any late charges, allowed me to make payments over the phone, took down my address, and then said they would mail me the correct information.All of this happened with GE Capital again because they did not save my updated address in these systems. Again, they were a pleasure to deal with.Sadly, the fail continues. I couldnt log into GE Capitals website because the birth date I was entering (my real birth date) didnt match their records. I had to call GE Capital once again, sit on hold for another hour, get the wrong birth date, enter the wrong date into the system, and then I could finally create an account.GE Capital has been great. However, Sleepys failed big time, and I recommend everyone avoid that location. I knew I should have walked to the Sleepys on Summer Street instead...

Went to Mattress Firm to get a new mattress after moving to the area. Overall, I would give Fadi, the manager, 5 stars and would recommend him if purchasing from this location. Dont bother dealing with anyone else. Fadi is very professional in everything that he does. However, Dean (who we originally purchased the mattress from) left a sour taste in my mouth. When I tried to return some box springs right after delivery, he was very rude to me instead of helping me solve the problem in a calm manner. Go with Fadi and be happy.
