Mario and Gabriel did a great job getting me into and understanding my new car. Loving my new Tucson plug-in Hybrid. Service was quick and thorough. Even better Mario has continued to answer my questions about my cars functions even after I have had her for a few weeks. Thanks Guys!
Jonathan our salesman was terrific, and Gabriel the manager was professional and attentive; he kept his promise to what he said he will do for me. They gave me outstanding service and were a pleasure to work with. It was a two hour drive to get there but It was well worth the drive to Stamford Hyundai. I can easily refer them to my friends and family members.Thank you!!
I had an amazing experience working with my sales guy Jonathan from Stamford Hyundai. He was a pleasure to work with:very responsive, kind, and knowledgeable. I had a very smooth transaction and was able to leave with a beautiful car and amazing deal (top notch price) the same day thanks to Gabby the manager for making it happen. I really appreciate everyone who helped me on the process of buying my beautiful Sonata. I will definitely be returning for future purchases. Thanks guys!!!
Had a great experience here. Worked with the best sales man. If you are thinking of buying a car go see Andy he is very easy to work with. Very friendly and professional. From arrival he had taken great care of me. Worked with my budget and got me to where I wanted to be with payments. Very happy with my 2021 Santa Fe and will refer more friends. All staff was great even financing manager was helpful. Thanks for all your help.
I received quality and transparent service from both my sales associate Hensley and Mike in finance. Everything and the kitchen sink! I went in knowing what I was looking for and my budget. Trade in price was fair with a nudge from the manager and I was a happy customer with a beautiful 2022 Sonata. The Hyundai warranty is unbeatable and the extended warranty is very affordable and Mike made sure I understood all of my options without pressure. Even though I signed and came back for the car in 2 days (that was my choice) Hensley took the time to make sure I understood how ALL the features worked and answer any questions I had/adjust settings. That is a rare find in a dealership AFTER you already paid them. When someone mentions needing a car Ill be sure to mention the GRET service provided! Thanks for being an A+ team!
Great place that even in these hard times of finding cars will work to get you with in your numbers. Ferdous is a great salesman. She is smart and fun but also works hard to get what you are looking for.
I had traded my car in for a lease. The overall process wasn’t bad. Though it’s been 3 months and I’m still waiting for a key card to be able access my car without the actual key fob. I’ve asked numerous times and nothing has been done… but been harassed for a five start review even when I didn’t get the items I’ve been asking for. Ended up buying one for my car being that my request hasn’t been fulfilled.
Just had a less than favorable conclusión to an otherwise decent experience. Linda and I were here to pick up her new car and there was some issue that prevented the car from being registered. Te sales to tried to explain what the problem was but we asked for the manager because we didnt quite understand. Up to this point, the transaction was good. The sales person was friendly, the finance person was friendly, paperwork went smoothly. When the manager came out he was a complete jerk and on the offensive from the beginning. He just couldnt understand why we had an issue with not being able to register the car and made it seem like we somehow doubting his integrity. In the end, the registration issue made sense and wasnt a huge deal but the way he (Sonny was his name) handled it was completely unacceptable. When someone spends 30k on a car they expect courtesy and professionalism. That was the case with the sales rep and the finance person. The manager, on the other hand, was utterly unprofessional and rude. I felt embarrassed for the sales professional who has to work for this guy.
I had a first rate experience at Stamford Hyundai! Eli Gaskins was the most wonderful sales person to work with- thorough, responsive and a great personality! The management team, especially Yousif, all added to make our buying experience top notch. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend purchasing a car from Stamford Hyundai.
Dont take your car to get service bunch of crooks, is more of a business on how generate money for them than actual fixing your car. Besides very unprofessional.
I had the best experience at this dealer. My personal case was complicated because of my lack of credit. Mario (Sales person) and Gabby (Manager) helped me throughout the process (which was not easy) to financing my car, and despite my case, it was possible to obtain my used Hyundai Elantra 2018. 100% recommended. Ask for Mario, he will find an alternative to help you regardless of your case. Thank you.
I was so lucky to have been able to work with you Yousif And Phil in the purchase of my new Elantra. my daughter called from New Jersey looking to help me buy a car and use it was helpful right from the beginning until the end of the purchase it was the easiest car purchase ever. The entire team was amazing and I recommend highly if you’re looking for a Hyundai or any car to go there it was an amazing experience and my favorite car buying experience!
First time getting car from dealership and had a very nice experience. Would recommend to anyone!! Ferdous was a very great help she really got me a car i like. Go to her if you are unsure and want a car or just want one in general you wont regret
Was very unhappy with several aspects of my purchase of my Genesis G-80 which I bought a month ago. After negotiating a price, we had to wait an hour and then when we went to the finance person there was an additional conveyance fee of $699 that was not disclosed to me when we agreed on a price. Conveyance fees are standard, as I found out on Google, but they are typically much smaller. My son just bought a Jeep and the conveyance fee was $400. Because of the wait, I could not negotiate this to a more reasonable fee because my wife was so annoyed and just wanted me to get the car for her. (Indeed, I suspect, but cannot prove, that the wait was intentional, making it easier for them to get me to agree to a high conveyance fee.) Despite this exorbitant conveyance fee, they did not provide much conveyance services. They did not handle the inspection which is part of the conveyance because it was for a NY plate. I had to get the inspection myself. To be fair, this may be legitimate because the dealership is in Stamford, CT. However, we have bought several Lexuss from a dealer in Greenwich, CT, and they have always taken care of the NY inspection. The dealership also did not install my old plates and I had to do it myself. Not a big deal. What finally was the straw that broke the camels back was that the dealership did not provide my insurance company with several necessary items, including the bill of sale and the list price sticker on the car. The bottom line is that I was put in a position where I couldnt negotiate the overly large conveyance fee (which a big profit item for them) and then they didnt take care of many of the things that a conveyance fee is suppose to pay for.The shame here is we love the Genesis and would recommend it to anyone. We have been Lexus sedan owners for over 20 years, and switched to Genesis because we felt it was a much better car and a better value than the equivalent Lexus.
Bad service all around! the sales person was nice until I told him that I would not finance my car with him but from an out sided bank and after that he became rude and held up the process of getting my car and didnt even offer a loaner till I called his manager.the service dept rotated my tires and didnt secure the tire back on which cause my car to shake on the highway and didnt inform me that my breaks were shot. when I spoke to the service manager about the tire I was just told accidents happen sometime like it was no big deal. I just got a bad attitude from the people there except for the Sales manager... he was very nice and took care of me.
I’m happy with service I got at this location. Ferdous was helpful and nice. If you guys are looking to buy a car here go to her.
I haven’t made a purchase yet but when I stopped by, I was helped by Eli and he was really helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions and we could test drive all the vehicles we are interested in.
As always, Dan and the technician provided excellent service and honored a previously e-mailed coupon.Very professional and honest staff. I highly recommend this team..
I rate this dealership as “top notch” when it comes to customer service. Our son searched the Internet for a specific car model, year and trim package. He found what he was looking for at this Hyundai dealership. I called the dealership and spoke with Paul Robles. Paul was extremely helpful with all of our questions we had about the car. We were purchasing this vehicle from out of state, which makes things a little more complicated, but Paul Robles made our experience so much easier and he walked us through the process with ease. He was extremely thorough in explaining the process and very responsive to any questions we had. Paul Robles is very personable and knowledgeable . He is definitely a valuable asset to Hyundai Dealership of Stamford! Best car buying experience ever!
Got my Car with Ferdous and she was AMAZING, did all the paperwork’s very quickly and got me the best deal possible! Would definitely recommend working with them if you’re looking for a new car!
Sales rep Ferdous was friendly and helpful, processed the documents quickly, Stayed late to finish the work and came in week off to finish the work. Will recommend for others for sure and happy with the buy.
I went through a crazy ordeal with my Kona EV, as it wouldnt drive for over 6 months. While I was fighting with Hyundai North America, the folks at Stamford Hyundai were fantastic. They provided a loaner car, kept me updated, and were sympathetic throughout the whole experience. In the end, both the dealer and I had a terrible experience with Hyundai North America, but they persevered, got the replacement battery they needed to complete the job, and did it well. Thank you to the whole service team at Stamford Hyundai, and to Jeff who kept me updated throughout- you guys are fantastic!
Great dealership!! I just bought a car here and am very pleased!!
Gosh. If Im being honest. My experience wasnt so great. First off. I went to drop off an ev charger for my friend who wasnt in town. The guys behind the desk seemed clueless as who the charger belonged to. I mistakenly said the husbands name rather than the wifes name which the car was under. So that was my mistake. But they eventually found that they purchased the car but not returned it. The system did not have it for some reason. And they started calling everyone as to who was responsible for the return.I called my friend, and asked them to speak with him. And my friend was confused and upset that they couldnt identify his car and where it was. Anyone would be frustrated if they found out their car that they returned was not in the system and cant find it causing more headaches. So thats how he sounded. But the gentleman in the suit working behind the desk called my friend rude. Sir... He wasnt being rude. You guys irresponsibly handled a return and couldnt find it in your system. I understand it wasnt personally his problem but dont call someone rude if its essentially the responsibility of the dealer. Customer service is everything. Regardless of the situation.Like I said. I was only there to drop something off. So the manner being held was just with my friend and the dealership. Particularly the man in the suit behind the desk. As I was leaving and apologizing for the situation that was happening. The gentleman didnt give me any attention as I was talking. No eye contact. Nothing as I was leaving. I dont care if youre having a bad day. Keep the smile. Apologize for the inconvenience and move on. You left an impression on me that I can share with others that they can share with others. Know the power of recommendation and word to mouth.Ill change my review as soon as someone acknowledges this review and the behavior of the customer service. Im sure it doesnt happen often but it happened to me.Update: owner responded and told me everything I knew and didnt acknowledge the other matter. I understand they couldnt locate the car becasue it wasnt in the system. It was calling a customer rude that didnt sit well with me. And the departure! Where I personally apologized myself and he essentially ignored me for being nice.Yeah buy your cars here! Hyundais are great cars! Stylish, full of tech, great efficient vehicles. Warranties are unbelievably tasteful and reliably is greater than most! You wont regret it!
All I can say is Gaby and Fara is teammates you need on your team when need a care. i’m beyond happy and satisfied with working with them I recommend you come here. Tell the Adeia sent you ! Good Luck !
Customer service with Stamford Hyundai sucks! They have poor customer service and Communication. They have attitude with you when you trying to find out what’s the update on the process of your car. You seem like your Inconveniencing them. I really like Hyundai Sante Fe I just don’t like their customer service at the Stamford Hyundai!
We have purchased two new cars in the past two years and we travel a distance to slowly purchase from Stamford Hyundai and their tremendously helpful Staff. Sales and Service.
The service department at Stanford Hyundai is excellent. My wife drives an hour from home to service her 2015 Santa Fe here. They are honest and thorough! Shiva and Dan were very accommodating and gave us first class customer service! Keep up the great work guys. And thank you very much!
Ferdous Ara was wonderful and patient while helping meWould recommend
Been supporting this dealership since 2015 in sales (2 leases) and service (3 cars), and at one point they couldve had a lifelong customer in me. However, the customer service in all aspects has slipped drastically since 2019. When my Elantra was about to come off lease in December 2020, and I wanted to trade in my Santa Fe with it, my sales appointment was so frustrating that I made the decision to never buy or lease from them again. The sales manager wouldnt even look at my used Santa Fe, which was in great condition and sold in less than a week. Today was it for me with their service department though. Had a battery issue on the road with my Elantra and AAA couldnt give me a straight answer on whether or not it needed replacing, so I called the service department thinking the dealer would best be able to determine the issue. After initially telling me that the first appointment was 2 weeks out, the rep came back and said they had a battery for my model in stock, and asked if I could get there today before 5pm but that earlier would be better. I said I could have it there within the hour and asked for a cost estimate and he said somewhere between $100-$200. After checking in and waiting for 15 minutes the cost estimate came back as $340. I understand that service at the dealership typically carries a higher price than most standalone auto repair shops or auto parts stores. I can even be forgiving that the guy on the phone didnt know what he was talking about, but that comes down to training. However, they have my Elantra in their system from previous service appointments, and they had the battery that fits it in stock, so they could have been just a bit more accurate on the phone. What they really wanted was to get me to come in thinking that Id just accept a 70%+ price increase from what was stated on the phone it in the name of getting the job done as quickly as possible. I ended up getting a new battery installed somewhere else about 30 minutes later for $215. It didnt used to be this way, but since 2019 this type of experience has become the norm with Stamford Hyundai. All the little customer service missteps add up and outweigh any benefit of using them because they do not value their customers time. I will not be returning.Owners response doesnt address the lack of customer service on the phone where his employee gave me a quote that was 70% off what the actual cost was. For the record I got an AGM battery installed for $215 with a 3 year warranty. Not only does your reply duck the issues of poor customer service, but its also incorrect.
One of the easiest car experiences and purchases Ive ever had. The sales associate David, was very kind, nice and attentive to my familys needs and desired price to work with. Yousif and Dave made us feel very welcomed and that we werent just customers looking for a car. They made us feel like we had be friends since kindergarten! Would highly recommend using them for your next car purchase.
Let me first start by saying this is a review of the Dealership, NOT the vehicle. This is my 5th Hyundai, and I have loved every one of them, including my latest purchase. In June I purchased my current Palisade, which is lovely. I came from NY because they had one available, and I appreciated the sales rep keeping me on the list when one that I was looking for became available. The deal was done before I came to CT. I did not engage in the usual back and forth, I paid sticker, minus 2 Hyundai offers. Did not haggle over the lower price they offered for my trade in, which was 3k lower than a local dealer was offering. This was literally the easiest and quickest deal they have probably done in a long time.Come in, sign the papers, deal with an annoying issue with NY DMV registration, drive home happy.1. Didnt realize there were no wheel locks on the highest level of this SUV available. Would have taken them off my trade in. Sales rep offered to send me them with my registration, no fee. Great.2. They took SO long to pay off my trade in (with the exact company I was financing my new car with), that it went past my next payment date due, triggering a 30 day late payment mark on my credit, and there is no amount of arguing with the company about it. They claim it was on the dealership to get it to them timely.3. Spent weeks back and forth trying to deal with issues regarding my registration, which ultimately boils down to complete lack of follow up by my dealer, who was supposed to coordinate this with NY DMV. Wont waste space with the run around, except to say yes, DMV was A problem, but it was the lack of follow up that had significantly contributed to THE problem.4. It is now mid-August, Fedex finally delivered registration today, but no wheel locks. It comes with a10 day extension to get my NY inspection done, but that expired back on August 7th. Contacted the sales rep yet again, and no answer or follow up, yet again.5. Paid $ 250 to dealer to cover registration fee, cost was actually $38. I have contacted my rep about when the refund is coming because they are obviously aware, no answer.Overall, the rep and the finance person were very friendly during the sale, and the deal was pleasant. However, that all means absolutely nothing now because what brings a customer back to the dealership, and encourages them to direct others to that dealership, is the follow up customer service. What motivates customers to resort to leaving a negative review on Google for others to consider, the lack of follow up customer service.I will not be back, nor will I spread a positive message for this dealership. You are of concern until you sign the papers and hand them a nice sale.
Ferdous Ara is asset to the Hyundai Experience delight to work with and navigated through the problems to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for new and pre-owned vehicles to go to Stamford Hyundai Dealership. I love my 2021 Sonata Limited!!Sincerely Dr. Anthony Pogano!!
Absolutely amazing straight up no haggling honest great consideration 👏👌👍
People is.kind. fast service. They do following of your appointment.
It is the best place to buy your car for the first time, I was there today there are the attentions, the kindness and everything was great, they helped me a lot Elay and Sony are very good. Im so happy.
Andy Constantinou really was phenomenal, he went above and beyond to get me a good deal. On top of that he turned what could have been a stressful experience (buying my first car) to an enjoyable one! Highly recommend going to Andrew Constantinou if you plan on getting a Hyundai!
I had a great experience buying my Hyundai Santa Fe! Came in to test drive a car I saw online and loved it. Gabe was great to work with and made the whole buying process smooth and transparent
I am very disappointed with this dealership. I would highly recommend visiting another Hyundai dealership in CT if you are at all interested in purchasing a Hyundai. My husband called the dealership yesterday asking to look at a specific used vehicle and we were told to come early this morning, as the specific vehicle would be held for us. Upon arrival, the manager told us that same exact vehicle was already under deposit by someone else, and that apparently was not communicated among the staff. There appeared to be no effective communication among the staff and what the inventory selection was, and we basically drove all the way down there for nothing. They were not very apologetic or willing to show us more used inventory and ultimately we wasted our time. Also, we are in a pandemic and as a salesman, the proper way to wear your mask is not on your chin the entire time you are talking to clients.
Another great experience with Stamford Hyundai, and specifically my salesperson Evan Blidner. They are very honest, courteous and accommodating. If you are looking for a Hyundai, stop your dealer search and go see them today!
I originally gave a positive review on our purchase. I should have waited. Little did we know that picking up a dirty car would be a positive. Here we are 4 months later and our vehicle isnt registered which we paid for. One excuse after another and no one returns calls. Except Andy who has been trying to help through all this. Next step is Attorney General or the media. Stay awayWell this is the third time Ive heard this 10-14 days time frame. I dont see how it takes this long to register, which we paid for, a vehicle one state over.Lets see how good thev, owners word is.
Danson was amazing! He was incredibly helpful and responsive to our endless questions and made sure the whole process of leasing a new car went smoothly.
Worst car buying experience of my life. First impressions do make a difference, but even then after initially seeing how old and trashy the place looks, I went in with an open mind. I was referred to Ferdous by a mutual friend/colleague. First impression, very sweet and friendly. But then you begin to notice the lack of experience and professionalism. She assured me twice, that prior to me coming to the dealer that my deal was set and that I had been approved. I told her that the only way I would go to car max and sell my car was if I was approved and ready to go for today. So I did just that. What happens next is beyond explanation. First she says that the deal we had can’t be done because now I’m at another tier level and that it just not possible. Then she calls over her rude manager, some tall rude guy that also comes with a BS story. After some back and forth for a long while, they come back and present me with a decent deal. We continue to move forward and I go in to sign paper work with some other guy. The only normal, decent person in this place by the way. After leaving him I head back to her and she’s apparently already scared of me and she jumps as I approach her and nearly spits out her chips. This whole time she was eating chips, she could have been doing what she was supposed to be doing to get me out the door. I end up sitting with her for nearly another hour and at this point I’m all paid up, insurance is set and I’m ready to go. Literally a few minutes before closing at 7pm, she comes back scared to tell me that I can’t take my car with me and if they can call me and Uber because she couldn’t find dealer plates and the paperwork to give me the car was locked in an office she could no longer access. I literally left there in tears, because I was left with no car until they can resolve the issue in a few days!!! So basically they made me sell my car to carmax to then leave me without a car for a few days. I stormed out in tears and called my own Uber while telling them to rip up the contract. Then suddenly a different manager runs after me to apologize for my experience. As if that would help me figure out how I’m going to get myself to work and drop my daughter off back to her dad this week. Complete bunch of useless and unprofessional people. I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I will not being buying car from Hyundai ever just based onto this horrible experience. I recommend you save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.
Hensley is great. He was very attentive from the beginning and I am extremely happy with my new Tucson!
Ferdous was awesome, great SUV purchase. She was professional, knowledgeable and honest. Would buy again!!
Ferdous was lovely and pleasant to work I got very good deal on 2021 HEV Elantra SEL! I definitely plan to come back after my lease ends
Hensley was very professional and straightforward and provided excellent customer service. He picked me up from the train station multiple times on short notice, provided thorough answers/explanations to all of my questions, and made every effort to guide me through the buying process efficiently. I would highly recommend him to others.
Stopped honoring Carmax CNA National warrantyies even though it had not expired, and thus wouldnt fix my sunroof which they had fixed last year...
I want to say that these guys are true to their word. I really appreciate their transparency and working with me on getting a used car. They gave me a very fair price for my trade in which made me happy and they were professional throughout. Mo was my salesman and he has been so helpful and accommodating. They followed through and make the process fast.Sonny (Sales Manager) was great too. The service team fixed the small issues that the car had (tire sensor issue and low key battery) super quickly and I’m very satisfied with them repairing these issues with the short notice I gave them. All around great job by the Stamford Hyundai team. It’s clear that they care about your experience with the car buying process. Other dealers leave you hanging, but these guys did a much better job than I even expected. Not to mention Hyundai’s warranty is literally the best in the game!
Love the car. However, dealership wasnt transparent about trade in offer.
After having a terrible car accident and needing a new vehicle, the crew at Stamford Hyundai not only helped me get into a new vehicle quickly, but I didnt have to settle on anything I wanted. They were all amazing from the first contact all the way to pulling out in my new Palisade. I highly recommend them!
The best service I ever had at a car dealership. Gabriel Mitri is outstanding! If you want excellent service with someone who genuinely cares, ask for Gabriel.
We had a horrible experience here. We were deciding whether to lease a new car or buy our leased car. When the salesman priced the car for us to buy his interest rate was 9.5%! When we asked for the price to buy it outright, he included $500 in misc fees and a $600 conveyance fee! We ended up buying the car out of lease directly from Hyundai and saved about $2,000. You cannot make this up. In addition, he pressured us ever step of the way. Just a terrible experience all around.
Long story short, this place sells wrecked cars that were put back together without insurance so it never shows up in a Carfax. I went to help a friend with a purchase because Im more knowledgeable than she is and the car she was supposed to pick up that day was DEFINITELY in an accident and repaired. There was overspray everywhere and body filler between the panel gaps. The car has dings and scratches that were conveniently hidden in the advertisement on their wabsite with tricky camera angles. Not to mention they tried to sell the car un-cleaned during this pandemic. If I wasnt there, she most certainly would have driven away in a car with accident history and sh*tty repair quality. This is what they called a Certified Pre-owned Car.
All of the stuff was very helpful and specially Ferdous my salesperson! Sales manager Yosiph, Scott and Finance manager Mike Jones helped me to get the car I wanted it. I am very happy with my 2021 AWD Kona.
Amazing service and had the pleasure of working with the best sales guy I have ever had buying a car......EVAN!
I am buying my second vehicle from Hyundai of Stamford and both experiences have been phenomenal!! Let me tell you, I came here in 2019 and got a 2015 sonata. I was told I can trade it in in 18 months. I came in today, and was helped by Evan Blidner and he’s getting me into a sharp new 2021 Elantra!!! The manager, Yousif, is very accommodating and willing to work with you. I highly recommend this place and will continue doing business with them!!Vroooooom
Ferdous was amazing got me the car that I wanted GREAT service!
Had a great experience with the team here in Stamford. I came in looking for a new car knowing that I owed money on my current vehicle. From start to finish, the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. I felt like I belonged there and I was actually cared for.Yousif was very personable and was a huge help in working with the bank and getting the approval I needed to get me into my new car! Sonny worked for hours to find me the car I wanted specifically and was extremely accommodating. This is customer service I have NEVER received from another dealership.I highly recommend this dealership based on the customer service alone, the team went above and beyond to get me into the car I loved!
I had review this place before put now I am updating my score. I went one more time and the attendee was really nice and was very willing to answer my questions ( not like the first time I went).
Amazing service. Jeff was immediately so kind, trying to do his best to help me with my car and give me all the options possible! He updated me through the cars process, got the problem fixed and even made sure he was present when dropping and picking up the car. Stamford Hyundai has to be one of the best dealership experiences I’ve had. Great employees and even better service!
Great service. Professional and friendly staff.
Ive bought and leased many cars, visited various dealers etc and this is by far the worst experience Ive had. After taking much time test driving and going over info., they decided to tack on a $3,000 warranty that i had to buy on a CPO. Meaning, the car cost $3,000 more than what was listed, despite advertisements. Now, I expect the usual doc fee, taxes, and a couple hundred extra that I negotiate down. I get they need to make a profit. But Ive never experienced something this outrageous. When I asked the salesman what the $3,000 was, he said he wasnt sure. When I asked the sales manager, he said at the end of the day, it is a business. Im not quite sure that justifies tacking an extra $3,000 onto it. Were a business means they charge an extra couple hundred. This was outrageous and a waste of time. Not transparent at all. Dont waste your time!!
This dealership was the worst experience I have had by far. The salesman Eli was wonderful, knowledgeable, and a great help. We took the car we liked for a test drive and were ready to move forward with the purchase, which is when things went south. We told the salesman we were interested and he disappeared then came back with the price. We made a counter offer and we got asked to come talk to a manager. He immediately greeted us with “what are we doing here?”, was cold and rude. They tried to guilt us by talking about how much they’d lose if they brought the price down and how they make their prices final to avoid “uncomfortable” negotiations, when that was the situation they put us in regardless. We raised our offer and they didn’t budge, they wouldn’t make eye contact or even show any flexibility and did nothing to work with us, which really bothered us. We did find the car to be a decent value, so we ended up offering what they wanted. After yet another person came in to talk about price breakdown, they tacked on over 3k of bogus fees (fees that really cost $1.5k). We realized that in addition to not showing any interest in working with us on price, they were now trying to cut their loss with made up fees and get every dollar their can from us, which is common in the industry. We walked out.The price of the car was reasonable and the salesman was very knowledgeable but the service was horrendous. They showed zero flexibility or attempt to work with us. The car we wanted had been with them for many months, was being kept in storage and had the price dropped multiple times, so we were excited to get a deal done and help them move a vehicle off the lot but they lost all credibility with us. We would have happily purchased the car but would never purchase from them due to the mounting frustrations and runaround in the process. Be cautious looking to buy from them.
Great experience and thanks to Evan for all his help.
Mo was fantastic. He worked hard to get us into a new vehicle without being pushy. He was super helpful. Definitely recommend
Me: Id like to test drive the Tucson. Salesman: OK, first Id like to know how much youd like your monthly payment to be.Me: $1. Now can I drive the car?Salesman: First I have to go get the vehicle from our other lot.Me (20 min later & no sign of car nor sales dude): ByeWhy dont car dealerships invest in consultative training for their staff? A car purchase is second to mortgage payment. Perhaps why theres such turnover...
Excellent bought a Sonata great person ask for Hensley Bisono
Recently purchased a car from here with Hensley recommend him to anyone especially the younger generation. He is very personable, educated and honestly makes you feel like he’s actually there to help you instead of just sell you a car. Youseff the manager is also very nice and had no issue helping me with a large cash down payment.
Service and staff were exceptional, as always. I could not recommend a better place. They determine what your issue is right away and provide you with a reasonable estimate of cost and time.
Paul Robles was my salesperson and he took such great care of me! It was quick and painless and I will definitely send as many people as I can to him. Thank you Paul! You rock!
DO NOT BUY HYUNDAI. WARRANTY ISSUES WILL LEAVE YOU DEFEATED. YOUR BUSINESS IS NOT APPRECIATED.2 weeks ago my vehicle was towed to Hyundai dealership due to an engine issue that is covered under warranty. No loaner vehicle has been offered because their systems are down and every call made to the dealership or customer service has resulted in someone will contact you in 3-5 business days.Being without a vehicle means the inability to obtain groceries (especially through the snow storms in the northeast) attend job interviews (especially when jobs require use of your own vehicle), and attend school (that is paid for in the beginning of the semester and no tuition refunds are granted at this point). My life and livelihood have been severely impacted by Hyundais non-working vehicles, non-working systems to upload my case for approval to even get a loaner vehicle, and non-working commitment to customer satisfaction they so readily advertise.LET THIS BE A WARNING. DO NOT BUY HYUNDAI.
Super helpful, great deal
I recently bought a 2011 s4 which they said that there has been a safety check to make sure the car will be on the road for quote “at least a couple years”. Then within 2 days of me driving the car it completely broke and I brought it to Audi and was diagnosed with blow by on the pistons and need of a mechatronic unit. That’s 15k worth of work and when I told them what Audi said. They told me they’d fix the problem and did a very cheap repair at some cheap service place. The car was the held for 2 months and they tried to say it was fixed but was not at all. They then tried to tell me that I have to pay half the repairs when they offered a warranty on the transmission and engine which is the 2 things that needed a replacement. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dealer. Never buy a used car or car here!! Worst dealership ever!!
I highly recommend this dealership. I was able to find a beautiful car that I am extremely happy with . The entire purchase procedure took less than I expected, and their staff was helpful in getting the vehicle delivered to my home the same day !
Fabulous Service from Evan in Sales & Yousif in Finance! Truly gave me the best deal - $60/month less than Key Hundai! No pressure or haggling, honest and helpful, smooth transaction. Couple little blips, but handled with immediate attention and straightened out professionally & with full courtesy.Highly Recommended!
Great service department with a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Chris was incredible to work with! He was honest, reliable and we felt like we could really trust him! He was able to stick within our budget, and wasnt pushy! He didnt hide anything, and wanted us to leave as happy customers! I would certainly use Chris at Stamford Hyundai again! Great Experience!
Havent bought a car from a dealership in almost 14 years due to trials, tribulations, and finances. But lo and behold Elijah, Yusef, and who is Mike Jones came thru for me. My personal situation was a mess but they made it happen. They put themselves in my situation and were very attentive to my needs. It was a long day but at the end of the day they made it happen. Elijah is a man of his word that everything would work out. Again thank you Elijah, Yusef, Mike Jones and the entire Stamford Hyundai Dealer for all that you did for me to make my quality of life better! I will definitely go there again and will refer customers to your establishment.. Mask up, stay safe, and many blessings!!!
Yousif and Chris M. are awesome! They were super helpful, accommodating, and fun to work with. Their understanding and easy going demeanors made trading in my car for a lease a smooth transaction.
Yousif, sales manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire buying process. Definitely recommend seeing him if youre buying from stamford hyundai. Entire process was smooth and couldnt be happier with my experience.
Inquired about certain vehicles on their website and dealership never followed through
I was not happy with the service at my local Hyundai dealer. Buying the car was an ordeal and the service department was always trying to sell me fuel treatment or something else that was unnecessary when the car was new.I was using an independent garage for oil changes and tires but needed a warranty repair so I gave Stamford Hyundai a try.I was treated with respect which was appreciated as I was not a customer. The repair took the entire week as the parts had to be ordered. I brought the car in on Monday, the parts arrived Friday and were installed Saturday.A loaner car was not available so a rental was arranged. Hyundai should cover the rental, I will update this review as soon as I know.Overall I am happy, got a coupon for the car wash next door. Nice customer waiting area with good coffee and snacks. The hourly rate of $140 seems a bit high but I havent been to a dealerships service department in awhile. The important thing is they get it right the first time.Hyundai U.S.A. covered the rental.
CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT... REALLY SOME NICE GUYS AND LADY... THEY DONT LOOK AT YOU AS MONEY... YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING TO THEM...
I dont write many reviews but I felt compelled to write this one. I was looking to purchase a Hyundai Palisade. I test drove it and was blown away by the vehicle. I sat down and tried to figure out pricing at dealer A, they quoted me 4k above MSRP. I went to a second dealer who quoted me MSRP plus additional fees and limited inventory. I was told repeatedly that they are flying over MSRP and that this is it.I went to the Hyundai website and sorted the Palisade by price. I ended up connecting with Stamford Hyundai that way. They were over an hour from where I live, but still doable. I made a call and was immediately transferred with the person who took care of the internet sales. The MSRP listed on the website was 2k - 2500 cheaper than the best price that I had gotten anywhere. After speaking to the internet manager named Scott - I negotiated everything over the phone and he was able to provide me with pricing that was EVEN cheaper than the MSRP listed on the website. The biggest biggest compliment that I can give them is that when I showed up the day of to pick up the car. I was connected with Paul Robles, he showed me a wide variety of cars to pick from. We must have changed our mind on the color at least 3 times. They were very patient with us and then when the paperwork was presented it was EXACTLY as agreed upon.I strongly suggest that you find the car that you want beforehand, call up Scott and negotiate your pricing then connect with Paul and seal the deal.Honestly, we are loving our Hyundai - it is an incredible vehicle.
It was an all around fantastic experience. Easy, fun, efficient. I never felt rushed. No pressure. Everyone was cool.Thank you, Ed Moldonado for EVERYTHING.I didnt think I qualified to get myself into a new car. Stamford Hyundai made it happen.
Another day of disappointment, because today is making 2 days with no return when my car will be tidied up! I will send every business day just so you can get a sense of how disappointing Hyundais service is.
Salesperson Trevor was terrific
Very frustrating experience with them, including their sales manager. Would never recommend the headache that comes with working with these folks to anyone. So much for customer service and loyalty. I will not be coming back and neither will anyone I know who is looking for a car. They just try to upsell you to something out of your price range or into a vehicle you said wouldnt work for what you need.SIDE NOTE: They say they dont like to take deposits, yet its your fault for not putting it down even though they know you are coming (on a car you have never seen/drove)?? Contradictory.
Sales are ok. Service department is better.
The service better than expected. The staff was helpful and the waiting room was wonderful.
Consistently superior work and customer service
Worst experience ever. They told me things that at the end it was not truth. After I get the car everything change, they just wanted to sell and once you get the car you are on your own. I don’t recommend this dealership ever. I drove two hours to get a car I was interested on, I was told that if anything is wrong with the car I could go to my nearest Hyundai dealer which it was all lies. Never going to do business or recommend no one to this dealership
Went for my 1st oil change here in Stamford Hyundai !!! Such an exceptional group of men. They all welcomed me with smiles & kindness. Thank you all for taking care of my Hyundai Santa Fe especially you Jeff. Big shout out for all of you.
Way better than stamford toyota customer service.
I wish I could give 0 star. I wanted to buy a car with cash, I went there the salesperson was super nice. We explained to him our intention, showed us some cars we chose one then he explained to us for paying cash there will be a fee and it’s better to apply for finance put some money down and pay it off in 3 months and with the finance we can get a lower price. We made an offer, then the charade began; the price is already low, showed us the work they did on the car and all of this, called the supervisor, then called the general manager, anyway both me and my husband are in sales so we understood the theatrics. We negotiated $11000 with fees and all and it came to $11200 which was okay with us. Went to see the finance guy Mike to finalize everything, he told me my monthly payment, I made it clear I wasn’t concerned about that because it will be paid in 3 months. He went over the payments, how if I am in a good standing it will increase my changes of higher credit if I want to upgrade and then if someone stole the car and they can’t find it, they will give us $1500. Our mistake was not checking the paper work while we were there. No one ever talked about a warranty, not the salesperson, not the supervisor, the general manager and certainly not Mike, We received the statement a month later with $14000, tried to call spent hours on the line, sent emails unsuccessfully then I decided to text the salesperson and left multiple messages for Mike and the other guy in finance. Finally he got back to me and told me that there was a $2500 warranty in my contract which I never knew about, swore up and down that the people on the sales floor wrote everything he just processed it but no one explained it to us. Now that was September, I called the warranty company, they had no record of the warranty because they didn’t even submit the warranty yet. Called back to cancel it and make it clear that’s all I had left to pay off the car, the insurance company sent the check to them October 2nd, still to this day 11/19th no payment made. I went there in person Mike went upstairs, sent email to some lady and told me that it was going to be expedited which was 10/15/2020 nothing, I have been texted and calling since then even talked to the general manager Yusef last Friday and guaranteed me it would take a few more days and it was sent still nothing.I would never go to Hyundai of Stamford or recommend it to anyone and if you need a car save yourself the trouble, don’t go there. When you walk in everyone is all over you but once it’s done, they give the running around. Not worth it.
Amazing experience! I have had many different experiences at dealerships owning six different cars. I must say this was the best. Fast and efficient. Listened and cared about every need I had as a customer. Even helped finding a better and cheaper insurance policy I already had. Make sure to see Ed! The guy was genuine and a great person to work with. Can’t give him enough praise!
My experience with Stamford Hyundai was truly awful. So much so that I ended up not purchasing my dream vehicle from them. From sales people who had no knowledge to answer any question I asked, to managers who gave false information, to shady business practices, I felt so uncomfortable I chose not to go through with the purchase. They want you to finance through them and make it impossible not to. They jacked the price UP when I offered to pay cash. What they will tell you is honest human error is really blatant manipulation. If you want a place that will drool over your money, disregard you as a person, take advantage of you, and act with absolutely no integrity -this place is for you! If you dont want this kind of experience, definitely skip this place and be empowered to go somewhere else and be treated with respect.
