Super cute coffee shop! Coffee wasn’t craft but I enjoyed my drip and the indoor/outdoor seating areas

Love this spot. They have great coffee and a really nice indoor and outdoor space, where I like to sit and do work with the pup. They also have a large food menu that I haven’t tried yet but hope to soon!

If you order a $7 drink you expect sugar. The whole order was wrong. No straws, no utensils, sugar free drinks, little to no cream cheese. With all that said, stay with them to get the orders right. Even when asked if there is sugar there was no sugar. We all have bad days. Just double check before you leave

Coffee is good. Not the best, but good.Food is way overpriced and from what I’ve tried, not very good.Tried to keep it simple today with a bagel and veggie cream cheese (which is 1$ extra). Spread didn’t even cover one side of the bagel. Instead they add slices of sweet potato. Because that’s what you think of when you order veggie cream cheese..

If you’re looking for a great coffee/breakfast sandwich in Stamford look no further. While it is a little pricey, the quality of the food and drinks from here is outstanding and their staff is top notch. I’m always greeted with a smile and they couldn’t be more friendly. Not only that, but recently I ordered online and it turned out they were out of gluten free wraps. Not only did they promptly call to let me know and ask if they could get me something else, but they reimbursed me for more than the price of the canceled item probably in an effort to be nice and make up for what was honestly a pretty minor inconvenience. I’d recommend this place to anyone and absolutely plan to be a regular customer

Great night of fellowship and Worship this past Friday.

I ordered the croissant with ham and cheese. It was very tasty however the people who work there forgot that they made it and left it on the back counter for some time. I went up to the counter to ask about it and they apologized and said it was ready. It was still warm so everything was okay.

I love the lox bagel there. Nice ambience, the waiters are professional and swift. Perfect for a hot summer day.

Excellent replacement for the Starbucks that used to be here. Stamford doesnt have a lot of places with an alternative vibe, but this place definitely touches on it.This is a true cafe coffee shop, with cocktails and beer (though not on draft, just cans as of writing).

Stopped in randomly had the turkey, egg avocado wrap was very good. Coffee was also good. Clean place. No masks on employees for those who are ultra sensitive but very friendly.

Girls behind thr counter gave a great suggestion of a peanut butter mocha ice coffee, and the avocado salad was delicious.

The drinks we got were very good and the staff was very courteous and friendly despite being overwhelmed with customers. The food however, was cold and seemed to be cooked via microwave. The bananas on the waffles were frozen. The egg on our avocado toast was ice cold. They offered to make us a new one. The new one we received had hot eggs, but the toast the eggs were on felt partially frozen. In my opinion, the food is too ambitious for the size of the location and staff. Get the drinks, not the food.

In the Covid situation winfied is the best place to stop on and work. I had my visit to stamford and found this great place. Waffle was yumm. Totally recommended place to go 💚

Hit or miss depending on the barista. Went in here in the middle of the day to treat myself to a take-out birthday lunch and latte and was not very warmly greeted by a disinterested guy in a rush, who charged extra for chicken on a salad that already included chicken, and didnt ask which size latte I preferred. When I inquired about the extra chicken charge, he didnt answer my question but instead rushed to ask if I wanted the chicken. The salad came already tossed in a heavy, creamy, yet somehow flavorless dressing that I tried to make better once I arrived home, but ultimately I couldnt finish. Overall a disappointing experience. I frequent this place for oat milk lattes which are usually pretty good, and sometimes find baristas providing better customer service.

Supper slow in getting your order ready. Cold avocado toast in a box is not worth the price. Terrible pastries. Hot coffee in plastic cup?! Friendly staff is all this place had.

Coffee so much better than Starbucks. Very friendly staff vs. the rude people at the Target Starbucks. And I love the bagels, too! BUT.. I always order a everything bagel, ward but not toasted. but they always get it wrong, itll be a plain or toasted or both plain and toasted?????

It’s okay, at best. The coffee is fine, the food is average. I did not like how commercial it felt. It was similar to sitting at a Starbucks. I would probably go somewhere else before coming back here.

Winfield is a family community gathering place where the staff make you feel like You are home the ambience and hospitality this particular location offers is one of a kind not only is the service great the quality of the food is amazing not to mention is the only coffee shop in Stamford that sells counter culture brand Coffee. They also do a lot of great events for the community also their give back commitment to the Stamford community is golden and it’s what keeps making me come back to support this family own business . great job Winfield team

One of my favorite coffee spots. One of the best things about Winfield is the friendly and welcoming staff who are always so kind when I visit. Especially Al, who always asks how I’m doing and remembers our interactions so well. I always recommend Winfield to friends :)

Between the aesthetically pleasing interior, to the friendly staff, devoted owner, bold coffee, and delicious smoothies this is definitely a gem of stamford for studying, catching up with loved ones, meetings, and just savor the moment of a cup of Joe.

Great service, very fast and amazing staff. Tried the BLT and it was great. Felt very clean inside and everyone was taking precaution. Usually go on the weekends and its a great place to get work done and enjoy a great cup of coffee and a meal.

Reminiscent of “before COVID” days. Get your coffee made in front of you, order from the menu (masked of course) and relax. Take out or eat-in at clean, distanced cafe tables - booths too! Food is fresh, made to order and delicious. Egg sandwichs to a killer quesadilla. Best coffee, which you can buy freshly ground to take home. Closes at 4:00pm, don’t be late!

Love Winfield’s. I go almost every day and get a matcha oat latte, by far the best around in my opinion! The cafe is super cute with bins of free books from the library, right next door. Great music and vibes too. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. All around a great place and certainly a highlight of my day.

If you’re looking for a cup of milk and ice in lieu of an ice latte- you’ve found the right spot. Sure, they were extremely busy but if you’re spending $5 on a coffee, they can at least spend a little bit more time on their ratios.

Great place to study and the decor is homey. I love spending a Saturday morning at Winfield for a few hours or even just for a pumpkin spice pick me up. Staff are super chill and there’s always good energy. #SupportSmallBusinesses

I’ve been here a few times for coffee and it’s not too bad. I actually like their almond milk.More recently I went in to try to order food. Waited fifteen minutes for them to make it. Their friend walks in and takes my sandwich.Honestly, it’s so annoying to wait, watch someone order the same thing, realize that the staff forgot about you, predict that they will give your food to their friend and then watch it happen. And I know if I had not stepped forward, pointed out the error and asked for a refund nothing would have happened. I got no apology at all. The woman behind the counter looked baffled. I had to really demand a refund. It’s not even about the money as much as getting the sense that I’m invisible / forgettable to the staff. In that case, why would I come back?

The food was cold and the service unfriendly. I should have known not to eat here when all the tables were empty. Never again. I finally managed to post a photo showing how empty this place is.

Very friendly atmosphere! The coffee is great and they do also offer a wide variety of other bottled drinks. You can even grab a quick bite while you are at it, maybe visit the library beside this location. The outside seating is just another option for one of those beautiful days.

I usually judge a place based on how well they make simple things like a chicken sandwich. A-MAZ-ING. Quite literally my favorite sandwich in such a long time. Such nice atmosphere and kind workers, they passed the Vibe Check👏🏽

100% my new favorite spot in downtown Stamford. They have some of the most amazing customer service I’ve ever seen. Especially because of the power outage, I was there consistently for 3-4 days while my power was out and served me tirelessly through each and everyday. Highly highly recommend the food and coffee 😎

Trendy spot with a very unique decorative interior. Great selection of drinks (as a non-coffee enthusiast I drink the Lemongrass Green Tea) and delicious food (the home fries in the Hungry Man are SEASONED!) But that it not why I keep coming.Ive been coming here for about two weeks to study for a HUGE exam.Al, Justin, and the crew are so lovely and kind. They always greet you at the door with a smile (or what I assume is a smile because face masks people!).They are super knowledgeable about their menu and are dedicated to serving up a prime experience for the community of Stamford. How do I know? Justin went out of his way to help me use the app to get points for the times I visited prior. Al is super nice and tries to remember my order as I walk through the door. They have a dog bowl and fill it with fresh water so that people can chill with their pups outdoors. They have baskets of old books from the library for FREE.Truly a hidden gem adjacent the Ferguson Library Downtown.6 out of 5 stars.Have been coming to this spot, almost daily. You wont regret replacing your Starbucks order with Winfield Street Coffee.(Also bring your UCONN ID student discounts peeps!)

One of my go to spots for quality iced coffee. Great spot for breakfast or lunch, with seating both indoors and outside for getting work done or meeting with friends. Friendly staff, good food selection, and recently the addition of beer for sale.

I go here every morning and I love it! Up to covid standards, the music is amazing, and the workers are so friendly and always go out of their way for me!

On the menu theres an item called Mash Strawberry waffles. The first time I ordered them, they tasted like heaven. The second time I ordered them. They were burnt. I thought to myself Oh, this might be a one time thing. The third time I ordered, half of it was black. The fourth time and last time I ordered, it was a mess. The guy making the waffles burned them while chatting with his co worker. Then he threw it out to make another. The new one was burnt as well. He was on his phone while making them and then he disappeared. He came back when the waffles were dark brown with black specks. Eating it was a difficult task. I couldnt cut it to pieces with the knife I was given. It felt like I was chewing tar. They gave me honey instead of the usual pancake syrup. It made the waffles taste worse. It was a horrible experience.Edit: They were nice enough to give me a refund and a $10 digital gift card to use in their online store.

This is my new favorite cafe in Stamford. It feels like a Manhattan spot. Drinks and food are great. Atmosphere is delightful. Service is outstanding and employees are so friendly! Love love love this place. A little pricey but that is to be expected when you have fresh and delicious ingredients.

I couldn’t help but noticing this vibrant cafe next to the city library in the heart of Stamford, Connecticut. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the place. Culture, art, books, sports, and of course, coffee! This place had each of these things on full display the second I stepped through the door. A magnificent wall of books that have been pieced together to create a masterpiece decor make you feel like a true intellectual just by being in the shop. I look up, and see the late great Kobe Bryant, a gorgeous piece to remember the ultimate hero of my generation. The art surrounding him keeps the place warm and comfy, but so cool! Even free books for those who are looking for some time to unwind with a good book. They play great music, from Mobb Deep, to Jay Z, to Maroon 5, and so much more! But let’s get to the coffee shop itself. Outstanding coffee. A very nice selection of Kombucha (naturally brewing mushroom soda extract). Really healthy options all around here. Looking for a glass of wine? 8 bucks! Totally affordable. Winfield Coffee Is bringing authentic New York City vibes to Stamford, and so long as I’m in the area, this is my spot. Love this place.

Just like the other comment says, Winfields atmosphere is just like a Manhattan coffee shop. I agree upon it even further, the drink and food here is great too. My favorite food, chicken thigh sandwich. Slightly undercooked but perfectly juicy.

Yikes! I was looking forward to trying this place ever since it opened. I typically go to Lorca, but gave this place a shot since Lorca had a fairly long line (and with good reason).The coffee itself tasted like it was burnt. The chocolate croissant was decent. Given the emphasis of “Coffee” in the name of the place, you’d think they had that part down. Might give them another shot in the future.

The restaurant is nice but the coffee could use work. The almond milk it a little too chunky like need a toothpick chunky. The chia latte that my husband got needed a bit more chia flavor it tasted pretty bland for a spicy drink.

Came before covid and it was by organized gave it another shot had a great sandwich the hungry man and it was delicious not only was the service great but the store manager Al was friendly and awesome he made me a caramelMacchiato and it was great I would recommend this place to anyone in the downtown area this is A Gem

Good coffee, good selection of said coffee, solid belts ngl. Food is not bad either.

The smell of the cleaners they use is stuck in their baked goods, giving them an unpleasant taste. The coffee and coffee-based drinks taste hollow.

Bathroom had no soap, and multiple employees repeatedly refused to refill the soap dispenser. Finally it was filled after we told the person working in the front taking orders, she is the only one of three employees who did anything.

This is a very nicely conceived new cafe in downtown Stamford but for me personally it is not quite my cup of tea. I enjoy quiet cafes where I can sit back and have conversation or read a book while sipping on my beverage (usually tea), however the music the owner has chosen is distracting and the noise level is high as patrons try to talk above the music. Places like this live or die based upon the quality of the coffee and the bar has been set very high by nearby Lorca which had already established its coffee presence in downtown Stamford. I havent tried the coffee yet but hopefully theyve done their homework and training. I had tea on my first visit. It was loose leaf and fine. Seating is very comfortable and reasonable parking is available in the nearby in the Target parking garage or on the street. Food prices are high but in conformance with downtown pricing. I would probably choose eating in a restaurant if I was looking for some food. Overall, a nice addition to the downtown scene, especially since it is attached to the Ferguson Library but for me, I rather go to Coffee Roasters in downtown Greenwich or the newly renovated Starbucks on High Ridge for a quiet read together with a more afforable beverage and a treat.

I ordered for pickup and they got my order completely wrong. I called in and they said they were out of the chocolate croissant and chocolate scone I ordered and instead of telling me when I came in, they replaced my order with a RAISIN scone and chocolate chip cookie (without letting me know). I also ordered the Iced Flash Brew which has no mention of tonic water on the menu and omg ew it has tonic water in it. No refund offered, just a free pastry next time I come back (I wont be coming back. Ill wait for Lorca to open again).
