Needed to upgrade the hard drive on an old MacBook and replace the battery. Given a quote over the phone and they had the part I needed ordered within minutes. My iPhone gave me a warning that my battery is getting old and should be replaced. In the past, I took this as a sign it is time to buy a new iPhone. This time, instead, I wondered if I really needed a camera with more pixels? I decided to just get the battery replaced instead. This turned out to be cheaper than I had expected.While there I discussed some strange behavior I had been seeing with my Wifi. They ran some diagnostics and gave me some helpful hints. They said they could fix it but gently suggested maybe it was time for a new one.Nate patiently helped me pick out a new one while I read him the specs of various models over the phone .I purchased the one he recommended and its great. I brought my Aspire V Lap Top to Compco USA after being checked by another computer technician, who couldnt figure it out what was going on with it. It was working very slow and got frozen, but the people at this location in Stamford were very kind and some days later they called me and notified me about what was the issue with my lap top. After two weeks of service, the compu continues working well.

Went in for a VERY simple repair, around updating the Bios. Nate decides to rewire my whole PC. I get the PC back and find that the cooling is no longer running efficiently. After the customer service battle of my life they agree to take a second look. Nate calls me and says, My bad, forgot to double check my work, You need to buy a new cooler. Surprising given Ive never had issues with the cooling until now. Eventually I speak the with manager who agrees to take a look. After calling to confirm that hes sure Nate is correct, they agree to test another cooler, catch is, they cant do that the same day. I come and pick up the PC for a 2nd opinion, to find that fans have not even been plugged in correctly.I wish I could give this a 0 / 5....

I brought in my work dell laptop to be fixed. They had to replace the motherboard. Nate did a great job and had back in no time. I asked Nate about my own personal computer, 2012 MacBook Pro that was running so slow, it was almost unusable. He encouraged me to bring in. After putting in a now solid state hard drive and adding 4 GB of ram, my mac runs at least as fast if not faster than when i first bought it! Highly recommend Compco.

The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The owner has taken the time to know me on a first name basis and always makes it a priority to repair my electronics as fast as possible (always within a day). At this point, I just don’t think I could use anyone else. Compco is a treasure and if you’re reading this you should take full advantage.

I’ve used these guys a number of times and really appreciate the honest and quick service from Nate, Patrick, and Geo. I bought my husband’s phone to them thinking he needed to replace the charging port on his iPhone. Turns out it just needed a good cleaning. They didn’t charge me for something I didn’t need and didn’t even charge me for the cleaning. They are my go-to - technology is not my thing but it definitely is theirs.

I purchased a certified pre-owned MacBook Pro 15 (Compco beat Apples price for the same pre-owned machine) laptop which straight away wasnt charging properly. It needed to go to Apple for service (original owner had Apple Care on it) and so work was done on the laptop and Compco purchased a new charger for me with the extension cord.They kept me informed during the process and were apologetic for the incovenience; the laptop was returned quickly and is working like new. It almost is new as it has only been charged a few times and is perfect condition.Patrick, the owner, is kind, smart, thoughtful, and cares about his customers, his workers, and his business. I came in recently with a laptop PC running so incredibly slow that i was about to replace the PC. This was not a much of an option given the unexpected cost.Patrick in-took me and Nate diagnosed my computer. He advised that the HDD was the issue. He gave me some priced options which were a bit too much for me this time, but Nate advised that it was something I could do myself.Nate inspired me and I sure enough did replace the HDD with an SSD and RAM.I highly suggest you take your device to Nate @ CUSA.

In my search to replace my older MacBook Pro, I pulled up dozens and dozens of shops and sellers, trying to decide where I should order. Compco advertised a laptop that was bigger, better, faster, and more capable than the one I had been using and the price was very reasonable.It arrived only a few days later, well packaged to prevent damage, and in impressive condition--very clean and looks almost like new. Only the barest of scuffs. Was reffered to Compco by a friend and was not disappointed.They have great quality Refurbished Apple products and was able to pick up a Mac Book with above average hardware and 90 day back to school warranty (normally offer a 30day warranty but bc of the time of year, they offered a 90day) for $300. Ask for Alex or Patrick, they were knowledgable and answer all of my questions about the hardware.

Patrick and James run a great business! They helped me fix my lenovo laptop ASAP. It needed parts as well and they ordered everything for me. They took care of my laptop and ran diagnostics as well to make sure I didnt have any crumby viruses! I highly recommend them for any computer repair.
