Christian Borda and Bryan Astudillo came to install a valve kit for a leaky faucet (because of the make of faucet they previously explained how I could get this part faster and for free if I contacted the manufacturer -which worked out exactly as they said). When they came to install it, they explained all they were going to do and also cleaned and greased inside the faucet handle so that now it is working smoother than before as well as not leaking anymore. They showed me how the stop valves for the hot and cold lines were old, not closing properly by hand and leaking when manipulated (they also looked corroded) so they quoted me instantly to replace those and did a really clean job of installing those at the same time so that I dont have any leaking or future issues if I need to operate them. Communication was excellent and they cleaned up when done. I will certainly trust JNR Plumbing with any future plumbing jobs in my property. Thanks so much!

I needed to have a sump pump repaired that was originally done by the previous owner over 20 yrs ago. Dario evaluated the situation thoroughly and completely explained what had been done wrong and what needed to be done to make it right. Dario reviewed the cost involved and asked for my input. He came at 1pm with another plumber named Christian and both worked for 4 hours when the job was then completed. I also needed a new faucet in the bathroom which was completed. Dario was the most professional contractor I have ever had work on my home. Extraordinary attention to detail. I am so pleased with his knowledge and professional manner and of course, with the finished product. I will never use any other plumbing company. An extra bonus was that I was informed about who was coming, that included pictures, and I was given a map to see when they would be arriving. There were two men and both each wore a mask whenever they needed to speak to me. The best customer service I have ever received! Thank you.

Our home is over 100 years old and the pipes from the curb stop into the house were badly corroded. The water had a pH of 8.5 and also tasted horrible. Inside the house the valves were horribly rusted and brittle. This was a very big job!!!! JNR arranged to have excavation done on the lawn to the town curbstop, replaced the pipes for our water supply, replaced the badly rusted pipes inside the house as well as the valves, so now the water quality is the appropriate pH and tastes great. And we don’t have the worry of if we lose power, we can turn off the water so that the risk of ruptured pipes is minimized.The plumbers are splendid, gracious, careful and very neat. Also they have answered all of our questions and given us the pros and cons of different options. And the prices have been appropriate, alsoThey all are the REAL professionals!We are fortunate to have found them!!!!!

They send a guy that put a completely wrong diagnosis, and pushed for an insanely expensive work, totally uncalled for, while refusing to do the easy fix work that my common sense suggested. Calling a different company proved common sense was right, for a way-much smaller charge, the plumber was able to fix the problem in less than an hour. The JNR representative said we have to book a hotel, as our house main pipe would need work for several days, for an astronomical final charge.This can be an outliner, a bad day for one of their employees, sure — but thats my experience with them…

Natural gas log fireplace insert was repaired & reworked for a more “natural” or realistic look. My 30 y/o sump pump was replaced with a new one & a moen “flo” monitor system was installed on my water main. Well done, efficient installation.

Had an issue with water leaking through the wall. Rommel was able to determine quickly that it was not the water spigot leaking but just water pooling in the ground and then leaking through the wall. It was all related to the location of the drip hose being to close to the foundation the house. Rommel gave me some ideas on to prevent this from happening again. . He was super nice and friendly. Would definitely choose JNR plumbing again. Great first time experience

I am so happy I found JNR! We found an emergency leak on our toilet that could not wait for attention - we called JNR and they were able to get us a technician within an hour! He even showed up early. Scheduling was a breeze, we received tracking info so we knew exactly when he would arrive, we also received info on the technician including his experience and we even received their COVID protocols before the appointment. Rommel was our technician and he was outstanding- definitely went above and beyond in explaining the repairs, costs and options to us. Good company, until you question the proposed repair. Guy wanted to charge my elderly mom $550 to replace every part in the toilet tank even though just the water flow valve was broken. I called Jason at JNR about this estimate and he yelled at me, talked over me, and told me every time we go to your mothers house, I have a problem with YOU. I have no idea what hes talking about, have done business with the company for years with no issues. I guess I am not allowed to question repairs that dont seem necessary. Ladies, take your money and your business elsewhere..

We’ve used JNR for several jobs and always find them to be very professional and respectful. They let you know when they’re on their way and you can track them like an Uber, which is really helpful. Rommel is great! We highly recommend them.

I needed a plumber to fix a leak on my toilet. When I called the company, they wouldnt give me ANY ballpark estimate, nor would they give me an hourly rate, they said the plumber will give me a quote on the spot, and if I dont want to go with it, theres a $60 dollar service charge. I had already called a few places and the quotes were all the same - it will take up to one hour, and the hourly charge was $150-160 per hour. So I booked these guys, thinking theyll be in the same ballpark, because they were available very soon.JNR shows up, a master plumber and a teenager apprentice, and right at the door they hand me an IPad with a seven page contract for me to sign! I started reading it (which clearly annoyed them) and there was a $150 dollar estimation charge instead of the $60 dollar service charge that I was told about on the phone. The master plumber tried to explain the difference between service and estimation fee - didnt make any sense. Then the apprentice gives me an estimate of $425 dollars. No hourly rate, only two pictures with prices next to them. He said they charge for the job, not per hour, and that the second picture was a part that may or may not need to be changed, but hell know when he opens the toilet. At that point I had to make a choice to either agree to that kind of extortion, or pay $60 dollars service fee and $150 estimation fee, and have them leave OR have them proceed with the job. I had him proceed with the job. When I asked the master plumber how much time it would take, he said less than an hour. I told him about the quotes from other plumbers, and questioned why theirs is almost 3 times more, and he said hell see what he can do on the price. Then he left the apprentice to do the job. The apprentice was done in about half an hour. The said he didnt have to replace the part that he showed me on the second picture, so he generously took that off the bill - which ended up being about $280. I asked him if they can do better on that, and he said they already did by taking off the part they didnt have to install. Then he had the audacity to ask me to give them a 5 star review, because his boss gets a little extra when they get great reviews. I told him its not going to happen. I very rarely complain about services, but this was such an arm twisting pricing technique, that I just had to share my experience for others to see. Bottom line, if you want to pay an exorbitant amount of money to have a teenager apprentice fix your plumbing, AND get an upset stomach, get your wallet ready. PS. While he was at my apartment, the master plumber gave me an estimate on another unrelated plumbing issue that I had with my hot water heater - that was also ridiculously overpriced. At least they are consistent in their scalping approach...

This is our third time hiring JNR, and this time, as always, they were great! Our water heater was seriously damaged as a result of basement flooding during Ida. When we called, they responded right away. Although it was pretty clear we needed a new water heater, our plumber Dario worked out a temporary fix so we could get hot water right away, and then two days later installed a new water heater for us. He was extremely professional, and explained every step of the process very clearly. Could not recommend JNR more!

JNR Plumbing takes care of plumbing repairs and installations on our rental property and our primary home. They are competent and responsive people that have my best interest in mind.

(1/2021) Dario returned to assist us in January 2021 and, as usual, answered all of our questions, was very respectful, and helped us to solve a few unusual problems with his creativity and inventiveness. Were hoping to have JNR return again to install a whole-house filtration system once weve completed a few other projects!(2020) JNR plumbing, and their capable and friendly technician, Dario Marras, provided a 21st century plumbing experience (better than Ive ever had before!). Dario answered our many questions knowledgeably and with great patience. He described a number of detailed options for us, provided written estimates on the spot, and completed two projects we agreed to right then, both related to the maintenance of our tankless hot water heater. He was creative in his work, very respectful of our home, generous in every way, and left our place as clean as it was when he got here. I have no question that we will contact JNR and Dario for our plumbing needs.

I called JNR Plumbing at 10:51. By 11:15 the plumber was here and gave me 2 options for the repair. I picked the cheaper one because I didnt think the other was necessary and the work was done, including extras which we hadnt discussed, within 45 minutes. Theyre not the cheapest plumbers out there, but they came immediately and were able to fix the problem without having to go and get parts or come back. Would definitely use them again.

Excellent company. Wonderful experience!!During a hot August week, my wife had invited two leading Greenwich, CT, Plumbing/Air Conditioning firms to send costly experts, who each charged $600 to $1,200 to blast compressed air into a blocked 1/2” air conditioning condensation drain line. Both concluded the drain was blocked, and the problem unsolvable, and we needed a new $15,000 system.We tried one last resort Friday afternoon call to JNR, and they sent Brett at 8.00 am Saturday, andBrett did what no others had tried. He went immediately into our uncomfortable crawl space, and cut into the drain line, immediately discovered the obstacle, cleared it out.Then he explained a second air conditioning unit that was scheduled for replacement had the same problem. Now both work 100%. Then he fixed a leaking kitchen fawcet, and heard a toilet running. “That’s been going on for years. Nobody can fix it” my wife explained. He fixed that in 15 minutes.So our experience with JNR and Brett is they probably did more in four hours than anyone we have worked with, with air conditioning or plumbing emergencies, in Greenwich in 35 years.

We contacted JNR to install a smart water shut-off valve as well as a whole-home filtration system. They also replaced a broken washer shut-off valve. The crew was prompt, clean, and did solid work. The service was initially to unclog the home sewer line. The technician, Dario M., arrived right on time. Actually three minutes early. He did a great job, which ultimately took the entire day, since the line was ill-fitted at the municipal hook up. So, big ups as well to fellow tech Joseph K, who then assisted with locating the issue under the street and coordinating with the sewer board and city services to get a permanent solution to the problem. I will definitely work with them again. They went above and beyond. The owner, Jason, was also pleasant and informative on initial contact and got everything going right on time.
