This review has been over the course of a few visits. Every single time I have gone in, just about every staff member is sitting down. One will come lagging to the front cash register with no smile on their face. They aren’t happy, helpful or anything!! It’s always like they all hate their job!! Terrible customer service!! I’m talking no professionalism at all. Aside from that, the lady employees wear incredibly short shorts. The prices are outrageous!! I have decided to no longer return because if a place can’t appreciate me spending my hard earned money at their establishment then I just won’t. This place is NOT WORTH IT!!!!

The best cookies ever, sales person had some personal issues on her phone. Which included yelling and cursing.

I have been several times when we are in Starkville. Cookie wich is addictive. The staff are always great.

Edit: went back this morning to a much friendlier staff and might i say the cookies are amazing!!! Told them what happened last night they apologized and gave us a couple free cookies!!Evacuated to Starkville for hurricane Ida got into town around 12 went to insomnia cookies for a snack and it was the only place supposed to be open that wasnt packed. Upon entering the store we were rudley yelled at that the store was closed (supposed yo be open till 3) and we needed to leave but there were customers in front of us that were served. Going to give it another shot today really hope that we encounter a friendlier employee

Says it’s open til 3 am and as soon as we start walking up to the door the girls inside ran to lock the door and turned the sign off… mind you it was only 1:05 am, could have politely told us they had to close early or shut the sign off before we all got out of the vehicle

Their vegan cookies are AMAZING! Thank you Insomnia for offering vegan cookies! Must pre order though, don’t forget that part.

The cookies are amazing and yummy. The employees are rude. Jaded people shouldn’t be allowed to sell cookies.

I recently ordered a small cookie cake from this location, and it was completely uncooked. The batter was completely raw, and it was very inedible. In addition, the flavor was some kind of cinnamon whiskey, so the cake literally tasted like straight alcohol. This is the third time I have received barely/uncooked cookies from this place.

Good cookies but they wouldn’t accept cash for a $1.75 purchase and I had to put it on my debit card....ridiculous

Was traveling down blackjack & thru campus trails around 8pm tonight (4/15). A silver car with an Insomnia Cookies sign on the top of it road on top of my bumper for 15 minutes straight almost hitting me multiple times. When I pulled into a parking spot he almost hit my car again, and flew past me doing at least 65 in a 15. I had a baby in the car with me as well. I’m sure the cookies are good lol. Maybe you should find safer drivers.

Customer service was horrible. I went inside to order a batch of snicker-doodles. And I wanted to take a look at the cookies because those particular cookies always are hard, cold, water downed cookies depending on who bakes. One of the workers there got attitude for the simply fact I wanted to see the cookie upfront. This is well should be one of the best cookie shops in Starkville, so I expect the cookie to melt in your mouth, customer service excellence I pay a lot for batch of cookies. And I was not expecting this type of service. And the fact he disrespected my sister on that same day as well. You don’t have worry about me coming back to this location. I will be taking my business to new location.

I had a really great Deluxe Ala Mode with the Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie and Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream. This was better than other ice cream and cookie places because the cookies were still significantly warmer than the ice cream, and that’s probably because they keep their cookies in a hot box!While it was super good, it was a lot of food (not necessarily complaining I guess). Despite all this goodness I felt like it was a little expensive for things... it was $6.25 for two traditional cookies and a milk. Each traditional cookie was $1.50, so the milk is $3.25 in that deal... idk... just a little pricey I think.

Delivery took over an hour and I live maybe 10 minutes from the store. They dont even have a store phone number that you can call to check on your order, so I just had to wait. I called the customer service line (where they took 20 minutes to answer the phone) and the lady said that it showed my order was out for delivery 15 minutes ago. When I clicked on my link to track my order, it still said they were baking. I have been inside the store a few times and half of the time, whoever was at the register was very rude. The cookies taste great (even though they are overpriced), but the service is terrible at this location.

It was really a 4.5 only because it took a lil longer than I expected but the cookies were amazing. First time actually getting them delivered and it was worth it! 😃

Terrible customer service! The lady was extremely rude to my mother, while the lazy manager sat and watched everything play out. Then my sibling tried to order ice cream and instead of acknowledging him she asked if we wanted anything else he reminded her of his ice cream and she said very rudely “I know, I got that.” So on top of that it was very expensive for a limited selection of cookies. I don’t think I’ll come back for overly priced cookies and terrible customer service. Who would pay for that?

Wonderful!I went to insomnia cookie and they were still baking the cookies we wanted. They said we would have to wait about 10 minutes and we didnt mind waiting so... we waited. The woman (I cant remember her name) was extremely friendly and even gave me a discount for waiting. Great customer service! I will definitely go back!

I had gone online and bought an order to be delivered to a friend. I specifically set the time of delivery for 8. Around 7:45 I check the orders tracker, and it says, it has already been delivered. Neither me, nor my friend had received an email, text, or call. I called the place, and after waiting about 10 minutes on hold, the lady tells me that they called and we didnt answer, but offered to send it back out. It never came.

These cookies are ooey gooey delicious! My favorites are the double chocolate chunk and the oatmeal raisin! I would def stay up all night eating these!

The store is small with limited seating. The cookies and brownies are amazing but not cheap. The employee that I dealt with was great.

Very poor customer service! I went in a few minutes after they opened. I never got a Hello or anything. I had to provide the customer service by saying How are you? Are you having a good day today? I never heard her say anything. I was never asked what I wanted or anything, she just stood there while I decided. I dont think I will be returning. The cookies werent to die for in my opinion.

Second time ordering from here. Was told it would be 30 minutes minutes for delivery. 90 minutes later no order. Was told there was only one delivery driver and that they were waiting on him to get back. Poor service.

The cookies were good, although really tasted like glorified break-and-bake dough. My child was not able to eat them without making an abnormally huge mess, because they are cooked to the gooey falling apart stage, which is very hard for kids to manage. My issue with this particular location is that the employee made no eye contact with me, even when I said i wanted six cookies instead of four (a half dozen is $8; the four cookies we ordered were also $8). Not only that, but she actually never spoke. Didnt even tell me my total, I had to divine that from the register. I will NOT be returning, nor will I recommend this location to anyone. I refuse to pay outrageous prices for bad service. If it werent for the fact that its hard to ruin cookies, I would seriously only give one star. (Is zero stars an option?)
