This store is a health hazard. Whenever it rains (which seems to be all the time these days), the ceiling leaks like crazy. Buckets and puddles of standing water everywhere. There are times when the inside literally stinks in places because of this. It really is disgusting.

Great for most of your grocery needs. The misses swears by the tomatoes - not at them. The produce and deli sections are quite large. Like any store, you can enjoy savings by joining their rewards program. This in turn can yield savings on gas at the Kroger gas station. It is a super large store for a small town. This, two Walmarts, and a Vowells provide amply for the populace.

Options given, I would rate it with hundreds of stars. The best grocery store in town. The standard is comparable to any good grocery stores in bigger cities. I would recommend to make a Kroger card. There are many coupons and offers given when you hold the card. Not to mention, the fuel points you accumulate ( by shopping with the Kroger card membership) can be redeemed as a discount in their gas station. Their fresh produce section has always fresh and good varieties of vegetables and fruits. Organic section is also there if you are rich. The cheese section is pretty big and fancy. They have their deli and bakery section running everyday. The meat/ fish section for fresh ( not live ) fish/ seafood/ meats. You can ask them to cut the whole chicken ( within 5 pm). The organic food/ spices / international isles are also very interesting to explore. You will get most of the groceries here, including a big section of cosmetic / pharmacy etc. They have scan and go technologies to shop independently. I love spending time in Kroger, and recommend the place very much. Lastly, there is Starbucks, Deli and a Ramen Bar ( including Sushi) if you are hungry.

Spacious, Clean and WELL STOCKED! Only nay and a reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because the employees need a tad bit better attitudes and more knowledge of where the products are in store.

Theres an excellent assortment of products at the Starkville Kroger store. The meats and produce are always abundant and very fresh. There are some good specialty sections like their bakery, cheese bar, deli and a sushi bar. The employees are friendly and very helpful which makes shopping at this store a good experience overall

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR AND YOUR FAMILY’S HEALTH.Employees are not allowed to get sick leave related to COVID-19 unless they start showing symptoms, which many infected people will never show. Any one of the employees, supervisors, managers, etc, could have the virus, and they can’t go home until they’re visibly coughing and spitting up everywhere. Shameful behavior by this company.

I stopped here while in town. I only stopped in to get a coffee at the Starbucks located in the store, but I was impressed with its cleanliness, variety, and extras. It has a sushi counter that also serves meals (fried rice, various chicken dishes, lo mein, etc). It has a large sitting area connected to and near the deli, sushi area and Starbucks. By far the best Kroger I have ever been to.

Ordered my groceries online and have waited 2 days after the date they were supposed to be ready (already give a 4 day notice) went up there both days and no one is answering the online order phone number. If they do they hang it right back up. Awful service, they may be overwhelmed, but picking up and putting down the phone makes it seem like they just refuse to do their jobs.

This is the best Kroger that I have ever been to. Its the biggest Ive been into and looks nice. It contains a Starbucks and a sushi bar. There are 8 self checkout terminals and plenty of registers open at all times. There is usually 1 or 2 customers to wait behind in order to check out. The produce section is really nice and always looks fresh. The bakery has great food and the shelves are always stocked.

This is the best Kroger I have been to. They have a great selection of fresh food and sea food. And if anyone wants a great plate lunch go to the deli and get the pork chops smoothered in gravy with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. They have the best plate lunches ever!!

Wonderful produce, meats, and good prices especially with card. Good selection of everything. I also love the new scan-bag-go option! It works flawlessly. The parking lot is hard to navigate and kind of small, but theres not much to be done about that.

They have the best verity of cheeses and other foods . They will help you find what you need. If you are having a problem they will help you with that too. They have it all. Wonderful store.

The address seems to be tied to a Mexican restaurant across the street. Kroger was great. Located in a nice mini mall. But the last block of direction gives the wrong side of street. Keep your eyes on the mall signage

This place is so much better than Kroger in Columbus!!! Wider aisles, wider selection, and more organic items. The parking lot is also way better. Honestly, I should probably give them five stars for what/where it is but they dont meet the friendliness of a Publix (nor quality).

Modern, large layout with big selection of goods. Some employees friendlier than others...to the point that Ive been outright ignored when speaking to them. But this is a symptom of the area demographic and not, necessarily, a reflection of Kroger itself.

Kroger is a great store. However it has been very disappointing these last few weeks. Their policy changes up every other day. Some of their cashiers are very rude and unknowledgeable when it comes to customer service. I shop there to save money for my family and its hard to do so when theyre so strict with their rules. Im gonna hardly shop there now.

The new Kroger is extremely nice and well staffed so there isnt much waiting anymore to check out. They have lots of variety that they didnt have before they updated and expanded.

I’ve been a Kroger customer for decades, and with a family of five, I’ve spent a royal fortune at this store. Usually, I’m a huge fan. My opinion is changing. For more than a month, I’ve searched for an item they usually carry and re-stock routinely. I’ve talked with Customer Service on 4 separate occasions and have been assured an order would be (or already was) placed. Checked again today and they still don’t have it!!! I’ve requested to speak to a manager and told each time that no one was available. I’ve left my phone number twice, but no one has called me. I’m frustrated, disappointed and will likely start shopping elsewhere.

Overall a good selection, however since the store expansion and renovation the lunch deli went from being pretty decent to not really any good at al as it once was prior to the renovation. Also I tell the meat department that i enjoy the kakbobs one minute they have them the next they have decided to discontinue them.

All ways fine what I need in meats and food items, and Kroger always has a great sales

Very recently updated, Kroger is Starkvilles newest attraction. I used to go to Kroger exclusively in Starkville but after the massive upgrade they are working on completing now, I may never go back to Wal-Mart. They have the biggest fruit and vegetable section in Starkville and it is about half and half organic. Very friendly and helpful staff they will stop what they are doing to help you find what you are looking for.

This Kroger is by far one of the best grocery stores I have ever shopped at, and thats across several states! Their selection of fresh produce, breads, cheeses, and meats really make this store a 5 star shopping destination! The cherry on top is their ClickList option that allows you to shop from home, and pay/pick up your items without ever leaving your car. This service is AMAZING for parents of small children. We live in Columbus but regularly drive to the Starkville Kroger to take advantage of their ClickList or to just make a normal grocery shopping trip. The employees at this Kroger are top notch! They are friendly, helpful, and attentive. The store and their employees make my shopping experiences very enjoyable.

Ive decided Starkville could ruin anything if it could ruin this Kroger. I ordered Clicklist two weeks ago, only to have it not go well at all. Ill spare you details, but after going in person to complain the day after I picked up my order, I discovered that my milk was spoiled and my strawberries (which never looked great) were too. Those were the only perishables I ordered, so I cant imagine how much would have been wasted if Id ordered more refrigerated items. (The Clicklist people would not speak to me on the phone--they hung up on me when I asked for a manager.)I decided I would go in person to buy from then on. I went in last Wednesday with my preschooler to pick up a lb. of meat from the butcher. I waited and waited on him (he made eye contact several times and never spoke) as he worked on something far from the counter. I had no problem waiting, except that the reason I was waiting was that another employee was in front of the counter telling him in great detail some bad experience she had had with another employee. She was about twenty feet away from me, yet I could still hear in great detail her fury over whatever had happened. I finally interrupted and told them that I was glad that was more important than taking care of their customers. The butcher came and found me to apologize, which I thought was kind, but he also told me this other employee was another customer. Honestly, she may have been off work, but she was still dressed as an employee, and she was still making quite a scene.Hoping this was an isolated incident, I went back Friday night (two days later) to pick up a few things, and who do I see at the butchers counter again? The same girl, talking to the same guy behind the counter. I overheard her joke about how she made sure to take off her work shirt this time. I guess that makes it okay for her to visit and regale the store with her drama while there are customers present.Im honestly not sure Ill be back if I can help it. The parking lot is a nightmare; Ive had people careen past the cars waiting on my spot while I was backing out because they couldnt wait; Ive been belligerently cursed by a guy hanging out of his window for being too slow in the crosswalk with my kids; as a pedestrian, Ive been almost hit by reckless drivers too many times to count. Its a dangerous parking lot that isnt worth risking if Im just going to have a bad experience in the store anyway.4 stars for the fabulous store with the incredible selection, 2 stars for the customer service including Clicklist, 3 stars overall.

Really upset with Kroger clicklist in Starkville right now. I placed an order last night (June 23rd) for 1:00pm pick up today (June 24th). Got there and the order never went through. Re-submitted it for a later pickup today (June 24th). Called to make sure they would be open until 8:00 since we were eating dinner. Got there at 7:50 and no one answered. My husband went in and was told they close at 8:00. He was like....its 7:55. So he came back out and told me. It was 7:59. Now mama bear is mad because we still have no groceries after two trips up there. So I go in and talk to a manager and show where we tried calling before 8:00 and how it was only 8:03 at that point. Why were there no people working clicklist? He checked and they had all shut everything down and left already. He had no way of accessing any of their stuff because they are on a different system. He said he would check into it to figure out why they left before they were supposed to. He offered to go get everything for me but its bedtime and that defeats the purpose of being able to quickly drive up and get it. Children were already acting a fool in the car. I told him no thanks and that I would come back in the morning. So frustrating.UPDATE: apparently something is wrong with their system because our order just isnt going through. I keep hitting submit order and then we go to pick up and they dont have our order.We have been doing clicklist since they opened and Ive been happy, but now Im starting to think its not worth the hassle.
