One of the two Hispanic groceries in town. I have tried pupusa, tacos, and torta here. OMG! They are really good. They are cheap and freshly cooked. The salsa is so different and yum! If you are after some authentic Hispanic food, you gotta try them. They probably accept ordering over phone. However, they are not extremely good in English so I would recommend you to go there and order. Their service not too fast, so expect some wait time. They have a dine in tables too, however because of the covid situation I preferred the togo option as of now. I definitely recommend the place and will go back.

Great authentic South American food: Tacos, Sopas, Tortas, Pupusas, Enchiladas, Tamales, Agua Fresca. You can order familiar fillings like chicken, pork or beef or you can be more adventurous and order tongue, tripe, or brain. They have a seating area and open kitchen in the back, where the walls are lime green and the tables are decked out with homemade salsas and pickles. The tip jar is by the kitchen, dont miss it to show the cooks how much you enjoyed their cooking. The store in the front sells everything from Xoconostle to Avocados and everything in-between. From Cowboy boots to pork skins, fresh tortillas, cheeses, produce and spices. It is a fun place to visit and the food is super delicious!

Super clean and friendly staff! They have great food and prices. The staff has always been very helpful. Their rice and beans are amazing! Watermelon and Horchata drinks are also amazing - and perfect for hot summer days.They also have plenty of grocery store items and everything is very reasonably priced - buy your beans and seasonings there, lots of options and cheaper than big grocery storesLast time I was there the cashier gave me some free candy to try. So sweet of her!Support local mom and pop stores and try this place out - you wont be disappointed!

Tienda Hispana Las Aguilar in Starkville, Is legit Mexican food. I’m from Texas and I’ll be back. The ladies who work there are to cool also. Peace!!!

This place is amazing! Tried it out for the first time and will be back. I had the carnita tacos with rice and beans. It was delicious and filling. The staff is very friendly and didn’t mind answering questions about the menu. Try the watermelon and horchata drinks when you go. They are so refreshing!

Im a Starkville native, who now lives in Houston, TX, and I can honestly say that this is some of the best taqueria food that Ive had. My torta was perfect, and enough food for 2 large meals.

I love this taqueria! Being a Texas girl and there being a taqueria or cantina everywhere, I was so happy to find this! Simple, no fuss, and honest dishes that are delicious and craveable. I can see them needing to expand but I hope they dont secretly! Awesome and authentic food, people, drinks, market and a gem of a find!

The food was delicious and hot. I had the pupusas and a chicken taco. The food tasted authentic like I remember Latin food before it was all Americanized, fusion, etc.
