Very satisfied with my experiences with Custom Marine. I purchased my first aluminum bass boat from them in 2019. The experience was great and I can’t say enough about Jonathan King as a sales person. Truthfully the boat I bought from them wasn’t my first choice, but Jonathan’s honesty and sincerity went a long way helping me decide to do business with them.Since I bought the boat I’ve dealt with the service team for upgrades, services, and and a few small repairs. I’ve been treated fairly and with respect.I highly recommend Custom Marine, no matter what type of boating/fishing you’re into.

I purchased my boat from Custom Marine a year ago and they have done a fantastic job supporting me. The sales team made sure I got the boat I wanted within my price range. I recently brought my cherished 2016 Pathfinder 2200TRS down to Custom Marine in Statesboro, Georgia for some slightly unusual warranty work.  The lifting bow cleat hardware had been improperly installed at the factory and for safety reasons, needed to be replaced.  When the folks at Ft McAllister Marina or Shellman Bluff, lift that boat out of the trailer to lower it to the water, it’s a long way down!  For that reason, I drove 237 miles down to this dealership from my home in Milton, Georgia in order to have the work done properly.  I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!The Custom Marine Warranty/Service Department, under the exemplary leadership of Ms Amber Tucker, did the job and exceeded all expectations.They did a beautiful job and when I next launch in a location where the boat needs to be lifted - I will be 100% confident of everything holding together.  Not only that, THE BOAT WAS CLEANER WHEN I PICKED IT UP THAN IT HAD BEEN WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF!  No footprints, no marks of any kind, no evidence that anyone had ever been on board.  Magical.But wait, there is more…The boat was ready to be picked up sooner than promised.Let me repeat that, so you don’t think that was a typographical error.  I brought my boat to a marine dealership for service and it was done SOONER THAN PROMISED!Service Manager, Ms Amber Tucker, was responsible for managing the repair and did the job perfectly.  She listened and clearly understood the problem, she communicated with Maverick Boat Group to follow up on parts delivery, she picked the right technician for the job and she kept me informed every step of the way.I will not hesitate to recommend Custom Marine to any of my Pathfinder buddies and when it is time for my next new boat, I will again be driving down Route 16 toward Statesboro.

I brought in my boat for some warranty work related to my trim tabs as well as it’s 100 hour service. We tried working with them. Picked out exact boat we wanted and turned in all financial information. It was like pulling teeth to even get someone to call back. Was told I would have exact pricing so we could get started on build of boat; that was 5 days ago. They literally had all they needed and I can’t even get a price from them. They obviously have way too much business for them to waste their time on someone who doesn’t want to spend under $100 K on a boat. Will never use them.

Have been using them now for 5 years to have my boat serviced annually as well any issues that have came up, they have provided exemplary service over the years with a great price to match.

I purchased a $85K Sportsman boat w a 300 Yamaha from Custom Marine on May 30. The engine locked up on June 27, along with numerous electrical issues (no alarms). Regardless of why the engine locked up (no one is real clear why), Custom made no strong effort to get it handled thru warranty and when we brought the boat back to them on Monday June 29, they did not make time for 1-1/2 weeks to seriously address the boat issues. Finally after no satisfaction, I took the boat to another boat dealer and got the issues handled. Very poor customer service by owner and salesman on this deal. Will never use Custom Marine again.

I purchased a new Crevalle bay boat from CM Feb 29th 2020. Danny Brinson was the salesman and I highly recommend him. The boat has been back twice now, once for 20 hour service and once for some warranty work. I deal with Andrew in the service dept and again nothing but positive things to say. Ill also add that I checked prices at most every Crevalle dealer within a few hundred miles and they beat everyones price.

I called at least 5 times trying to get a grab rail for the console along with sending the serial number with one of those calls for my 22 pathfinder . At the 6th and final call I was directed to drive to statesboro to look through a bunch of junk they had to see if I could find one that would fit my boat bc the one I had was bent . Im selling my boat and was looking to buy new from them ! I wouldnt bother now anyway they dont have any boats !

September 2013 I called Custom Marine and was connected with Johnathan King, I explained to Johnathan that I was still a few months out on the purchase of a boat but I had a few question. Johnathan was more than helpful. He answered all of my questions and did not rush me off the phone as soon as I told him I was not read to buy. Over the next month or so I called Johnathan a few more times and again he was more than helpful. In January 2014 I purchased my new Carolina SKiff and Johnathan and the team at Custom Marine made the purchase very easy. They have the best prices and the best customer service in the southeast. In November 2014 my wife and I decided we wanted a bigger boat and one with more options and storage. My first call was to Johnathan King at Custom Marine. I explained to Johnathan what I was looking for and he went to work. Before the end of November I was headed back to Jacksonville with my new 2014 Sea Hunt BX24BR with a 300 Yamaha. My wife and I both love this boat and love the relationship we have with Johnathan and Custom Marine. In less than a year I purchased two new boats form Johnathan and Custom Marine and I would not buy from anyone else. They are not the closes boat dealer to me by any stretch but meeting and dealing with great people like Johnathan and the team at Custom Marine is well worth the 3 hour drive for me. I have dealt with Custom Marine on two occasions recently in purchasing new Suzuki outboard motors. Jonathan and the entire Custom Marine team have been a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to assure that I was satisfied with the quality of the work and the purchase experience. Very helpful, as well in assisting with purchases of appropriate accessories for the new engine installs. Additionally, I had them do some wood and fiberglass work on my boat and they did an excellent, cost effective job. I highly recommend. I have used Custom Marine for service the past eight years. I have never been disappointed or let down. They are prompt and do excellent work. I deal with Jimmy Milsaps who is service manager. He is knowledgeable, courteous and honest. He takes a personal interest in his job and my satisfaction. The whole enterprise is excellent. I have often recommended them to friends and will continue to do so.

I have been well pleased with the sales and service department at Custom Marine; 13 years ago I purchased my first Sea Hunt from them. Brad was honest with me about the cost of the boat and he was very informed about the quality of the boat and the accessories that could be ordered with the boat. In 2012 I traded the old boat in and purchased my 2nd Sea Hunt (I had to step up 2 feet). Once again Brad was professional and informed. There were several small adjustments that had to be made to the boat and trailer and the service department fixed those small things immediately. Great company to deal with.

Im from South Carolina. I shopped locally for center console boats and after mixed results I found Custom Marine where I ended up making my purchase. I dealt with Johnathon King who actually seemed more like a boat enthusiast more than a salesman. There was zero pressure with my deal which made browsing and making our decision that much easier. I later sent a friend of mine to the same place to purchase a Sea Hunt Ultra for his family. Anytime I have called and asked for help with maintenance questions or general information they have been very responsive and helpful.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER. Make sure when they quote you to get it written down because Jimmie obviously will under quote tremendously. They installed a UHF radio for me and rung the screws off and left them and put the brackets on backwards the quote was $500 and some change up ended up being $650 for less than satisfactory work. They also did work on my clear coat underneath a speaker but a close eye could tell the repair was very poor and noticeable. While doing the repair they cut the speaker wire and tried to splice it in to the other speaker wire leaving it inoperable. They also had dropped something in my hull during the repair process and took hunks out of my hull. They are the worst I have ever seen.

Ive been a customer since 1998. The sales staff have always been helpful answering my many questions about their boats and motors. I looked at other dealers but I have always come back to them. I always feel very comfortable when I walk into their dealership, everyone is friendly and courteous. My current boat is a 2013 Carolina Skiff 198 DLV with a Suzuki 115 4 stroke outboard. Jonathan spent many hours with me crawling on all the hulls they had before I made my final decision. After I decided he spent additional time getting my boat setup the way I wanted it. Thru the years the service staff have worked with me to keep the down time to a minimum. Theyve always got me in and out quickly.

New motor. Took it in for damaged lower from rope in lake, and to top-off. Next trip out burned up power head for no oil. Took it back in and was told no oil. No kidding, but I paid for a top-off. Ruined 10K new motor. Picked up with busted rear light. Sold for scrap. Be warned!

Worst service ever, the service manager Jimmy is the worst service manager! Took a outboard to have a new water pump installed, when I went to pick up a screwdriver of mine was taken by the Chris (mechanic). When I tried to use the motor after they worked on it, oil poured out were the foot was removed. Jimmy very rudely stated they did nothing to cause it and for me to leave the property! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND THE SERVICE Its the worst Ive ever seen!

I was looking for an aluminum boat to duck huint with my boys, Custom Marine and Brad Lanier helped me find exactly what i was looking for. they sold me a boat at a very good price and also put a custom camoflage paint job on the boat. they also helped me pick out the right seats to put in it also. i had a wonderful experience dealing with the team at Cusatom Marine.
