Worst costumer service! They will make you hold for 15 minutes on the phone just to tell you they will call you back just to reschedule an appointment don’t ever speak with Evan he will basically make you feel stupid when you ask him anything.

I am 61 years old and have worn glasses since I was 9. I have never been able to see as well as I see now thanks to Dr. Cone. He is so patient and skilled. His whole staff is wonderful. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. I highly recommend!

The staff here were very friendly, helpful and they explained things in simple terms for me. I have a very weird prescription due to having a lazy eye and 2 astigmatisms, so they made sure to explain what my glasses would need to work better and even suggested which kinds to avoid due to my lenses thickness.They worked with me to figure some things out and when I went to pick up my glasses they helped me adjust them to fit properly and it was a very quick pickup process.I would highly recommend them, this was my first time selecting glasses and doing the process on my own and they made sure I knew what to do and what I needed.

This place is an absolute gem. The people are friendly, kind, caring, and bend over backwards with excellent customer service. My mother lives in a nursing home nearby. I bring her in every year when I visit from out of town to see Dr. Cone. He is so sweet and patient with mom. He has a great way with his patients. His assistant Pattie is thorough and kind as are the front office team. Mom and I have been coming for over three years. Recently, due to covid, they went above and beyond in facilitating a new prism lens RX and getting it to mom at her nursing home. These folks are just great. I look forward to coming back to see you soon.

Went in for a contacts exam, paid in full. Had to wait for the trail pair to come in, due to the are a special make. Ok thats fine, waited a month. Thats understandable. Got a call they they are both in, but I have to wait another three weeks to try them on. Its a simple come in put them in and look at them. But they only have an opening 3 weeks away. Went on web site they have openings all month. Still I have to wait 3 weeks to try on something I have already bought. I understand a week or so. But a 3 weeks is a little rude, considering they have openings. Yeah, never again.

Ive used Statesboros Wal-Mart Vision Center for a few years now, and have never experienced any problems with the service. Theyre always kind, accommodating, and send email and text reminders before the visit. I also love that you have the option to fill out your exam paperwork online before going to save time. Keep in mind I use glasses, so Im not sure how their contacts eye exams work, but I highly recommend them for eyeglasses services. They have great prices and excellent doctors and staff.

It took two hours for me to go back to see the doctor and even then he wasn’t ready. I had called days before and asked how long would the whole process take I was told 30 minutes, which wasn’t true at all.

I brought my daughter in for her yearly exam and the doctor is wonderful no complaints there however the staff are rude and short horrible customer service called to get information and they basically said since I’m not ordering glasses from them they won’t tell me. Last time going there.

Have never had a bad experience here; the doctors and assistants are always pleasant and explain everything in easy to understand terms. The persons who fit me for my lenses are pleasant and helpful and always quick to tell me about available discounts. No complaints from me!

I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. I have used this location for several years with only minor hiccups once in a while. However, this last visit was the worst. I went in on June 18th for a contact exam. They didn’t have trial contacts for me to try that were my correct prescription, so I was provided with a trial pair that was close but not accurate. I was told I would receive a call when the correct lenses arrived. After 1 month and two calls later, I went in and the older lady was so nasty and had the worst attitude. Two weeks later, I called again. I was then told I couldn’t get my trial lenses and she was a heffer once again. I spoke with Laura, who I spoke with once before and she apologized for the confusion and stated that she would make sure the lenses were ordered. I received a phone call on Wednesday stating they were in. I went in today and was told I could not get them. The MANAGER stated he couldn’t do anything. So once again, I left empty handed, with no contacts. These people are absolutely awful and have no respect whatsoever.

I honestly cannot understand why everyone is giving this vision center such bad reviews. Dr. Robin Cone was great. He was very straightforward and to the point, but he did so in a very calm and friendly manner. The service upfront wasnt 110%, but they definitely got the job done.

Broke my glasses while visiting the area and did not have any other eyewear with me. Went to the Vision Center at Walmart in Statesboro for help and received excellent care. The staff scheduled an appointment to see the Doctor right away since my glasses could not be repaired.Dr. Cone did a very thorough exam meticulously working to find the best options and fitted me with bifocal contact lens so I would have vision wear until my new glasses came in. I was amazed at the improvement in my vision. Thank you Dr. Cone! Mr. Daryl, the manager helped me utilize my insurance for the purchase of the contacts and glasses that gave me the best coverage on the cost. He also informed me about a special discount program they were offering which offered me additional savings. All in all my experience was top shelf! I live in Savannah but would travel the distance for the level of service thisvision center offers.

I had a follow up appointment for contacts on Friday. All they had to do was check to see how the new contacts felt and fitted my eyes. I had already told them that I had worn them for a week and they felt comfortable. They had me wait 45 minutes before I finally came out of the exam room and stated that I just want to order my contacts and leave. The other ladies in there that were just standing around acted so nonchalant and had attitudes. The only thing that saved me from taking my business elsewhere at that moment was Mr. Darryl stepping in to try to help me and apologizing for my wait. He even stated that there was no reason for me having to wait that long. He was so kind and compassionate. He needs to run that eye center instead of the ones they have in there. The eye center really needs a clean sweep.

Wow, and I dont mean in a good way. They seriously need to dismiss the young woman that was working at the counter the day we had an appointment. She believes what she feels (her personal beliefs) allow her to refuse to perform her job--literally states she knows better than the optometrist and he should listen to her, and ignores employees trying to tell her what is actually correct. Shell do what she thinks, and that is that. What is this company thinking? Id rather pay more for contacts and glasses than put up with such a rude uppity woman-child.

The man who answered the phone was rude as hell. I was told earlier this week when they got my insurance information from me I would get a call back about the cost. Today, an hour before my appt. that hadn’t happened so I called and asked. The man said he couldn’t and I told him that the girl had said she would so he got an attitude and started asking me for my insurance information all over again. I didn’t have it handy, as they were supposed to have already put it in. This place sucks. I just cancelled the appt.

Worst customer service ever! Waited for 30 minutes in the store to have my appointment and when they finally gave me my paper work from helping everyone else so I can check in they said I was late to my appointment and would have to reschedule after I had stood at the front desk and asked for help more than once.

The eye Dr and exam went well. When I went to pick up my glasses they were handed to me and they didnt even let me in to fit them to my face. Here ya go By. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Statesboro vision Center will never see me again

I was at my appointment ON TIME and after the long wait they tell me they cant see me because my appointment passed. My appointment passed because yall are too slow checking people in and not seeing about yall customers! Then they wanted me to reschedule my appointment that I already had to wait for. No thanks.

I ordered contacts on the 3rd of the month it is now the 14th of the month, I havent received any phone calls or messages about my contacts, Ive contacted them myself for three consecutive days now, and had to drive up there twice to see if they arrived yet because the phones are too busy for the one or two people in the eye center. I have to now go on an extremely active business trip for a week with no contacts. When I asked about when will I receive my contacts I get a vague and hostile response like Im the one bothering them lol because they cant seem to locate the product I purchased. Never again

Paid out of pocket for an eye exam. Went back a few months later to get contacts and was told they had no record of my exam and I would have to pay to see the doctor again. Yeah right

Took way too long in the middle of a monday afternoon. helped out two people that came in after me although she saw i came in before them. then proceeds to be rude because i didnt have the correct forms. horrible place. wont be back
