Home Depot has always been my favorite place to shop.This store in Statesville, NC, has friendly, helpful employees. I did not feel harassed by constantly being asked if I needed help, nor did I have to go more than an aisle to find an employee when I did need assistance.The newly revamped Aisle system works very well. On this shopping trip, I intentionally typed the item I wanted into the app, and then went straight to not just the aisle, but also to the bay it is located in. Couldnt have been any easier!!My hat is off to whomever developed that system!!While I still enjoy just wandering the aisles, when time is a factor, I can shop quickly, checking off each item on my list very efficiently.
I love home depot vs their competitors. The garden section is always more diverse and well cared for. Employees are more helpful or can find the answer if they dont know it.
Looking for grass seeds and found just what I needed other location was out. Everyone very friendly and wanted to know if I needed help. I like this because during these times good help is hard to fine.
I ordered a zero turn mower online because the ones they had at the store were seriously damaged. If I were to pay over $2000 on a mower it shouldn’t be damaged. The lady at customer service said the mowers outside were all they had. She looked at her incoming shipment and said that there will be another mower arriving on Wednesday 6/16/21 to be shipped. She said to order it on Thursday 6/17/21. I ordered the mower on Thursday online. At the store, I was told that when the mower was delivered they will show me how to use it. The mower was delivered by a third party Estes. The driver had issues getting the mower off of the truck. It took him 30 minutes. There was some damage to the control panel, according to the driver because of the packaging. The mower was not put together nor was the driver able to show us how to use it. I called Home Depot and was told to bring in the mower so they could assemble it. Unbelievable. One, how am I suppose to get it back to the store and two why should I be charged $79 for Home Depot to pick it back up to assemble it and charged another $79 to deliver it back to me. This was very poor service. I should have stuck with Lowe’s.
Horrible experience with Home Depot. I ordered an appliance that was due to be delivered the next week after the purchase. I was told that I should receive a call 24 hrs before the delivery and 30 min before. I received neither. The day of the delivery I waited all day until about 630pm without a phone call. I decided to contact the store to inquire about the delivery status since I had not heard from anyone. I was told that the deliveries were backed up about 1 hour and I should have my appliance by 9 pm at the latest. No delivery no phone call. I called the store on the next morning I was passed around as no one had information as to what happened with the delivery and did not know when I would receive it. At one point I was told that the delivery truck broke down the day before and I would need to be rescheduled, but it would be 2 weeks out! The store automatically rescheduled me without asking. I asked for a refund instead so that I could purchase the item else where and get it delivered the next day. I was not ready for horror that would come next. I was told that until the appliance made it back to the warehouse where it would be scanned in for a code I could not be refunded. They did not know when this would be. No one could help get this process expedited not even the manager. The lack of communication this place has with the warehouse that they use is very disappointing. I waited a whole week before a refund could be given. I go in for the refund now I’m told that the refund will be in the form of a check sent via snail mail!! Really!!? I can’t not even. I paid cash there is no reason why I could not receive cash back. I am done with Home Depot and have told everyone that I know to not shop there. The manager didn’t even offer a discount or anything for the horrible experience. It will be weeks before I receive a check. I hope there is no problem cashing it!! DO NOY ORDER AN APPLIANCE FROM HOME DEPOT!
I generally dont complain too much. And Ill probably shouldnt this time. I went in to buy an item that is somewhat out of season. However the website said there were six varieties of this available. In reality there were only one. In any case I was able to at least get something. Overall Ive had good experiences Home Depot so Im not really blaming them. The associate was helpful. I guess my frustration is not being able to get the item I wanted when it said it was in stock.
This is the place, forget about the competition because it no comparison when it comes to price, backing their product and getting help ofcoarse help is never what it used to be but they give it their best and I applaud that !!

I typically shop at the Statesville NC Home Depot. I have been looking for some Fasttrack Wall Paneling made my RubberMaid. Statesville does not have enough. They looked up the inventory and said Cornelius had 6 On-hand. I drove to Cornelius. They had none. Cornelius said that University Park in Charlotte had 6 on-hand. I drove to that HD. They had none. No one would deliver to my local store. I ended up going to Lowes and buying nearly $400 of Craftsman wall panels. I was so frustrated. I have had 5-Star service in the past but your corporate inventory tracking system is awful.
All associates extremely helpful and greeted me....paint department associate didnt have what I needed, but looked it up online for me to order and have delivered!

He is a polite young man and it turns out he is the son of a Disabled Veteran as well. GREAT JOB!
My son spent $2000.00 on a riding mower on March 24th. It was supposed to be delivered a little over a week later. But it wasn’t. He had to go back twice to prove he had already paid for it. The delivery driver said 3 times he tried to call, but lied. It was finally delivered on April 27th I think. It was over a month. That, in my opinion is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced! My family will never shop there again! Especially since Lowe’s is right across the street. I couldn’t give less than 1 star, but I would!

Ive been waiting for my stove for 2 months! Nobody told me it arrived damaged the first time they told me it was ready for pickup so I sold my stove that same day. I arrived and they told me they have to ship out a new one because it was damaged after being told 2 hours ago that it was perfect. 3 weeks later (May 3rd) same thing got a call saying it was ready for pickup, and nope went in today May 4th.. its damaged. Ive been having to eat out and im seriously tired of it. I also have a 1 year old to feed. This is pitiful‼️
Customer service is great. Several times the employees tried their best to help me with orders, returns and estimates of projects. Estimates for floor installation were very quick and accurate... I have been shopping around. Recommend!

Both large home improvement stores need to realize that women do a good part of repairs and home improvement, so some better attitude in lumber would be nice, but most employees try to help.

Worth the 2 hour drive!!! The Staff at Home Depot, specifically Appliances where I was shopping for a small refrigerator, could not have been more helpful. They answered all my questions, were willing to unbox 2 refrigerators for me to look at, including getting moving equipment to pull one off the top shelf, honored the sales price, and then loaded it into my car. Every person was friendly and attentive. Now if they could only open a store in Boone, NC.... that would be wonderful! Many thanks!!

The countertop department doesnt even deserve one star! Horrible experience. Do not use this company to do larger updates to your home like granite countertops! Communication is horrible and they tell you things very last minute. A huge inconvenience to my family as well as my kitchen has been a construction zone for 2 weeks which should have been a 1 day process. They use Stoneworks which is a very incompetent company. They send out installers on 2 different occasions who didnt even bring all materials needed. They broke our granite and just wanted to epoxy it and even told us it was protocol basically. Im sorry but last time I checked, I did not pay all of this money for cracked granite! If you want a job done and get your monies worth, dont waste your time with Home Depot!

It was totally awesome... after I walked all over the plumbing section then water faucet section..I found exactly what I was looking for...not a service representative in site..then grab my cleaning supplies and out through the self chk out..I was on my way home to clean my floors an install my washer so I can wash, clothes, blankets and linens...that little mesh screen filter was all I needed
Stunning the lack of customer service! Do not get appliances from here. Free Delivery entails dropping off refrigerator on the driveway, and I quote there are no instructions here about the kitchen. I repeat DO NOT GET YOUR APPLIANCES from Home Depot.

Like another customer.... I spent my entire saving on new cabinets. Over 2000$ for Hampton bay brand. My Store rep was good. But when I got my cabinets... their were about three broken doors jus falling apart were the cabinets were not constructed good. A drawer that just Fell apart. Miss aligned wood on some areas.... ugh!!! It pisses me off!!! If it didn’t take so much time and effort.... I would throw that **** on the back of the trailer like the trash it is and go dump it at the front door. Please save your money for somewhere local maybe... Home Depot is not it for this type of job...

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT! We ordered a dishwasher, and realized when it arrived it would not fit, because it would prevent a drawer from opening because of the handle. We wanted to simply return it and purchase one with no handle. Home Depot will not let us return a just purchased item, since it is not damaged. One star because there are no zero stars!

I would give it less than 1 star if I could. Lets start with I spent my entire savings on a new washer, dryer, and dishwasher. Had no trouble in the store, but when the products were delivered, the installers barely knew how to install my washer and dryer. They had no clue how to install the dishwasher which is still waiting in its box in my kitchen for someone to install it. When I contacted home Depot, they said they would have to send it professional plumbers. Another week later (and I cant use my old dishwasher, because the installers disconnected it but didnt know how to reconnect it), the plumbers didnt show up. Ive now missed 2 days of work to wait for installers and plumbers who havent shown up. Just went to use my washer, and my entire wall is soaked through. I will have to call a 24 how plumber tomorrow to come fix it. $2500 on appliances that I cant even use, and I can only imagine what repair of the damage they did is going to cost me. Run from this retailer. Shouldve used Lowes or Best Buy.

Had all the parts that I needed for my chainsaws and was in and out quickly after checking myself out.
Needed an obscure replacement part for my sprayer I use at work and was able to immediately get assistance in finding what I needed after some trial and error to match the correct size. Awesome and knowledgeable associates.

Home Depot has been my preferred home improvement up until Covid 19. Customer service in many of the departments seem Annoyed when being asked for help. Final straw for me ... I scheduled to have an entrance door and storm door measured on a Friday evening was told someone would call. No one called or left voicemail. Followed up with store this Friday and the lack of professionalism is unbelievable. After retrieving purchased storm door I will no longer patronize the Statesville location. Such a disappointment. As consumers we give our hard earned money to these establishments therein we also need to hold them accountable. When youre not being treated right spend your money where you will be appreciated.

The associates here were very friendly. The only issue I have on a regular basis is trying to get around the floor scrubbers, which seem to always be operating when I am inside the Home Depot. The keep preventing me from getting to areas or forcing me to move out of the way.in case anybody from Home Depot reads this I would recommend you perform your cleaning duties after hours. The cost-savings cannot possibly be enough to justify the inconvenience to the customer.
Reserved a moving truck 3 weeks ago for usage today (in moving). Family just payed then went out to pick it up and the battery was dead. Had to wait an hour for Penske to jump it. Then the check engine light was on! Now my family member who went to get the truck is sitting in the mechanics shop with the moving truck ! On the day we’re supposed to move! I’m sitting at home with my stuff 3 hours late. And they already have our money. No one went to check their only truck truck in the THREE WEEKS it’s been reserved, apparently.I would be embarrassed.

Overall this store has excellent customer service. The associates at this store are always friendly to my children and I, offering help when they walk past. The paint associate talked to my kids while they mixed the paint and they were very friendly. They also still sell the smaller board sizes that I need for some projects.
With the overall buying power that the Home Depot enjoys, places like Lowes or 84 Lumber should not have better pricing.

Really good store with helpful staff. I dont get into the Lowes verses Home Depot. Depending on the item I need depends on the store I go to. However I will say in the past 6 months I find myself here alot more frequently.
