I was traveling from Ohio to Florida and my Turbo on my Range Rover went out. I stopped at Voelske and was taken care of exceptionally well. They went out of their way to help my family and I. I would definitely recommend Voelske Automotive to anyone in the Statesville NC area.

What a fantastic group of people. We live in SC and were up test driving a used car. They looked it over and gave us a very honest and trustworthy thought. They were never negative towards the company selling it, to the car itself, but were honest in their opinions. We are very thankful and if ever we are in the area we will certainly give them our business. Just good Christian folks doing an honest job that you don’t often find these days. I wish they were closer I’d drive to them every time I needed anything.

I walked into a very clean, well organized shop and the owners and technicians spoke to me over the phone and rode in my car to advise me with some tire noise that I am dealing with. Fast and friendly. It looked pretty busy but I was able to get a same day inspection appointment. We went acrossed the street for milkshakes came back and my car was ready!

I cannot be happier with my experience Voelski Automotive. In this day and age it is so rare and utterly refreshing to encounter a business like Voelski Automotive. Not only was everyone warm and welcoming, but they were knowledgeable, professional and offered a wholesome environment that you could tell was innate. This is how they treat all customers, as if we are all related. They have a customer for life, and actually I have scheduled an appointment for my sister as well.

Our Volvo went from running perfect to a crank/no-start, with multiple check engine lights.The reviewed the problem and found a chipmunk or mouse had eaten a crank sensor wire. They were quick and professional, and instead of blowing it out of proportion to a huge project, they were honest and straight forward.Glad to find a local and trustworthy shop

I will recommend this place to anyone any day. I am from out of town and my car broke down on route 77. They were able to take my car in and get it looked at and made sure I made it to the local hotel and stayed safe the entire time. Every person at this shop was helpful, understanding and caring. It is an amazing family run business that I encourage many people to go to for all their car needs. The building is extremely clean and welcoming as well.

The folks at Voelske Automotive took great care of my mom when she needed work done on her vehicle. Every person we spoke with was friendly and polite. The mechanics were knowledgeable and gave us advice we felt we could trust. They were able to get the work scheduled and finished in a timely manner. Cost of repairs seemed reasonable. The facility itself was clean and comfortable with a nice waiting area. I highly recommend this local family-owned and operated shop for vehicle maintenance.

Voelske Auto is a great place to take your Volkswagen or other german make vehicles. They are the only auto shop in the Statesville area that specializes in german vehicles. It maybe a bit pricey, but beats going to a dealership and thats for a guarantee. I take my VW New Beetle here for my spark plug change since I dont have the tools specifically for the job. Give them a call or drop in and see what they can do for your car.

Hi I highly recommend Voelske Automotive! I was on vacation taking my 3 year old daughter down to see her Grandpa in Lancaster South Carolina. When my 2001 Honda Odyssey had a water pump go out! I was setting on the side of the road on 77 which is heavily traveled and want Shure who to call I found Voelske Automotive sure off of Google and called they were super helpful and said they could get a tow truck out to me pretty quick a lot faster than my tow service through my insurance company could get that there so I asked them to send the truck and within about 20 minutes the tow truck was there and mark the tow truck driver for her All American towing hooked me up and towed my van 6 minutes down the road to Voelske shop . I had talked to the one lady on the phone and she gave me a tentative price over the phone and after getting there they said they would look into the van and see what they thought it was I told them that the water pump had gone out and knowing that on a Honda that you have to replace the timing belt and tensioner and water pump all at the same time they got right to work push the van inside and commenced on tearing it down my daughters grandpa came up from Lancaster South Carolina and picked us up I got a call from Voelske AutomotiveThat nights confirming that it was the water pump that had come apart and that they would order the parts and it would be done the following day late Wednesday so I continued on with my visit with my daughters grandpa at their house and after talking to one of the guys at the shop they informed me that a motor mount was also busted and another part needed to be ordered I agreed that that was the best course of action and by Wednesday night about 4:40 the van was fixed I picked up the van on Thursday when my daughters grandpa drove us back up to the location about 70 miles away from his house The van was ready to go I got in and drove all the way back to Ohio highly recommend they were extremely nice extremely courteous and understood my situation with being on vacation Great place Good price very happy Thanks for all the help!

Voelske Auotmotive has worked on several of my import cars. Rebuilt the top end on sons Subaru over two years ago, no issues since. Currently helping me trouble shoot check engine light my Audi Q7. Moved to this town of Statesville several months ago.When our truck broke down - a 1977 Datsun and found volske’s automotive- John the owner and his wife were friendly and professional and greeted us and fixed our truck but it’s problems were deep in a 46 year old truck - John is a perfectionist and went above and beyond and worked days and nights and even shipped a part to California to fit our truck. Horrible. They did work on my car and didnt put it back together. They left out bolts and parts which caused more damage to my vehicle and than blamed me for there negligence. The owner John did not want to admit that they were wrong in this situation even though they were completely in the wrong by not comunicating what they did to the car and what parts they did not put back on the car, causing about another grand in damages. I would highly not recommend this place.Out more money than I should have been and didnt even fix the car.

EXTREMELY overpriced and even locals told me they were high however car broke down and this was the closest repair shop. Told me 3 different prices over the phone only to come in and pay more than all of them quoted. Rude service. NEVER AGAIN!

I brought a 2007 328i to them to diagnose TPMS light and an AIRBAG/SRS light. Knowing BMWs in general require special attention from a special type of technician. With that being said they diagnosed the entire vehicle in under an hour and a half of dropping it off with no appointment saying that the light was turned off and fixed while the air bag light was caused by a defective PASSENGER SEAT RECOGNITION SENSOR which by the vin of the vehicle would be covered under warranty from a BMW Dealership. They easily could have sold me the work and I would have paid out of pocket for the repair, but they decided honesty is there policy and I will be recommending any one in need of a fair priced repair for their imported vehicle. A-Plus service on all accounts.

They got me in on short notice, but charged $780 for a job that our mechanic charges $350 for. Unfortunately you dont have much choice when youre 600 miles away from home, And break down on the interstate .
