During our hike, we came across this cute place and decided to go back for dinner. Tables outside, fire pit is nice and long so it can be shared by lots of folks. Everyone was thoughtful about socially distancing.(Beautiful store inside with a wide variety of goods.)Outside, QR codes are right on the table so we ordered our drinks and food immediately. I had the fish and chips - delicious! Cooked beautifully and tasted great. My husband began with shishito peppers, which were blistered quite well and yummy. Then he had a Chicken Pesto sandwich with a glass of Malbec. He really enjoyed everything. The view is also beautiful, so it was a great experience all around.Would definitely recommend this place and we would go back. Thanks, WildPlum!
Pretty good pizza. Decent crust and fresh toppings. We didnt realize until we got home we had no mushrooms (which they had asked about twice) but thats a first world problem. Prices are steep, but thats what you get for a convenience store. 1 large and 1 personal pizza were $42. $12 for a 6 pack of regular Coors - just about double Denver prices. Decent selection of snacks and basics for a fast home dinner.
Ive been wanting to try Wild Plum for some time now. It is a little grocery/liquor store that also has a kitchen. I did not do any shopping for groceries, but from what I could tell they have a good selection of foods and liquor. I ate at their kitchen, unfortunately they were short staffed so they were only serving pizzas, but the pizza was good and flavorful, it was a bit salty for me but im sensitive to salt so no negative there. Overall ide say its a cool place to grab a bite.
These guys are the best. Tell them what you need and they will take care of you. Very convenient and have all you need without having to go into town. The ice cream was soooo good. Nice treat to end a day.
Went for breakfast. Great breakfast burrito. Good coffee. Personal staff.
Great place for a quick bite, wine on the patio, or any groceries you may need for the condo along with a great and friendly staff.
Great location, and they have everything you’ll need to eat or drink. Staff are awesome.
Always clean and very friendly service. Love their pizza, ice cream and pilsner. Also, its walking distance from the condos. Perfect!!
The mark-up on everything is pretty shocking, but then again where else can you walk to from the resort and get pancake mix at 940pm?
Great ambience sitting by the fire feature having an evening cocktail.
Nice small and neat place, but the service is very slow
Cool place, very convenient, unique items pricing as high as the altitude.
Don’t order the breakfast pizza. It takes 30 minutes to make.
Very minimal store but they have the essentials. I forgot contact solution and they carry it! Great store and walking distance from the mountain
Overpriced, limited selection, poor service - avoid at all cost.
Very clean, nice staff and great food
The store has some nice brands if you need to pick up a small meal. The eatery has an interesting menu but a 40 minute wait for a grilled chicken sandwich that costs $20 is not really worth it.
Uncle Dave was a cornerstone to my grand experience at the Wild Plum Pizzeria and Ice cream shop
Great local selection of goods and friendly service.
The Hug is the best breakfast sandwich in town!
A great selection of small-batch natural and organic brands with an impressive affordable wine selection. The gluten-free bread is the best I have tried so far. The honey lavender fries alone are worth stopping in for.
Went to Steamboat for the weekend with the family and my kids wanted to do Taco Night. WildPlum not only had the ready-to-eat avocados and ingredients we needed, but also an amazing selection of wine and spirits to pair with the meal. And of course, why not grab some extra snacks and treats for the hike. It was a one stop shop for our weekend getaway!
Possibly the worst pizza Ive ever tried to eat. Blue Sage, Soda Creek, Brooklyn, even Dominos, anything is better than here. And cheaper too.
Good food, very expensive. Dont order the lavender fries!
WildPlum has a new menu. I had the Good Lickin Chicken Salad Sandwich and it is da bomb! So, so good! Looking forward to trying more of the new menu items, although I want another chicken salad sandwich first. :-)
Great staff, service and drinks.
Friendly staff and pizza by the slice is fantastic. Cant wait for the bar to be open.
I would consider this more of a convenience store than a grocery store. If you are here for a few days and need groceries, I would recommend going to Safeway. Very limited selection and a lot of out of stock products. Resort prices: $7 eggs (non-organic), $7 butter (non-organic), $7 orange juice (non-organic).
This place is the best for shopping near the mountain without going into town. They have a huge selection of gourmet foods, wine, craft beer and cooked to order food. Pizza is awesome.
Very conveniently located. We were able to walk from our condo directly to the store in a few minutes. We needed something easy for breakfast before heading out tomorrow, and as others have said the selection is not vast. However, we were not expecting Kroger. When we went to check out, the owner noticed we had skipped eggs. When we indicated it was because we didnt want to get 12 and waste them, he offered to ring up the exact number we needed. That alone earns this place 5/5 stars, independently of the other things that make it a perfect quick shopping spot.
Nice, but very expensive which is to be expected given its location extremely close to the ski resort.
Great staff
Your alcohol destination for steamboat
Great Slope side Location to get hot food from the grill or just dry goods and Booze for your condo. Well managed, friendly staff!
This place has a great selection of everything you need including beer and wine. All of their products are quality which is why you do pay a bit more. Their made on-sight food is tasty, and every time weve been in there, which is a lot, the staff is nothing but helpful and friendly. My kids go by themselves all the time there as well, and are treated respectfully.
Mmm, ice creammm.....
Great little grocery store. High end products. They also have really good gourmet pizza and other made to order food. There is a connected liquor store as well. Great spot to wall over for lunch.
Great neighborhood store. Good selection of groceries, liquor and freshly made foods. Pizza by the slice $4 (big slice!). Friendly staff ♤
Amazing pizza by the slice and great customer service by warm hearted locals. Love this place!!!
Great breakfast sandwiches. Nice patio.
They deliver to your condo. Pretty decent food. Good alcohol selection but you cant drink the alcohol you buy with your lunch.
Convenient location, extortionate prices. Sadly will never fully replace the old market on the mountain. Prices keep rising, with customer service declining. Lack of fresh produce, which is strange as they should be able to buy fruits and vegetables from city market and still margin out based on their current markup. Optimistically hoping for improvement...
This place is awesome - really great market and deli with a liquor store attached. I eat at the deli frequently and they never disappoint. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a great view of the mountain.
I couldnt be more disappointed. The quality used to be great for the price and now the quality has gone down and the price has gone up. I had to stand at the counter while the guy working was checking his Facebook and after clearing my throat and sniffling to get his attention, I finally had to ask to be helped before he even looked up from his phone. On top of everything, I was so excited to try their broccoli cheddar soup and it was terrible. The only broccoli in it was stems and it was $4 for a small container. Used to be a great niche store and deli that I recommended tourists to but now, Ill recommend City Market instead.
Had the breakfast burrito with veggies and it was great. My husband had pancakes and sausage. Nice atmosphere and friendlystaff. Will be back.
We had sandwiches and a pizza. Everything was delicious. Nice place to get a real low key bite to eat. It is a grocery/deli, and liquor store all in one.
Location is great, food is fresh. Cost is very high.
Good food & coffee. Ideally located near the base of the ski area. Some groceries, but very high end & pricy.
Fun, excellent food selection, knowledge staff which knew about the huge selection of beers ; local and imported. Thank you for a great experience Wild Plum
Wild Plum is fantastic in every way and the staff is super-friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for me.
Great selection of cooking ingredients. If you need something hard to find, they will probably have it. The prices are about 30% above non mountain town pricing. But if you need it...
Was told large pizza was significantly larger than it actually was. This is colorado, but employees shouldnt be stoned while working. Will not return, and would advise the same
Ordered 4 hot sandwiches to go. Only one was what we ordered. They were cold when I picked them up. I asked if they delivered, the answer was: um.... Nah ... Not tonight, we do, just not right now.WOW! Dont try too hard!
Best veggie omelet in ages. Fun find for simple, casual, yummy
For an on mountain store, this place tops the list for all of the rocky mountains. Food, grocery, booze.. All at a reasonable price for the locale.
Great prices on wine and snacks.
We got breakfast here. They were out of croissants so we had bagel sandwiches. They were just...ok. we had lunch here (we were staying in the hotel attached) and again it was just ok. The location was very convenient and the staff was very courteous.
The food is high quality but pricey compared to larger stores in town like City Market
Great spot for groceries when you dont want to bother with going into town.
Great food and wonderful stuff
This is the best pizza in town! They also have gluten free dough!
Good stuff . Resort prices
Quick call in deli orders! Great service
Cafe, great food! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Great location for off MTN food! $
Pretty good, just not too many organic options.
The kid dropped a piece of my quesadilla then just offered me more French fries.... no discount, no comp, no replacement quesadilla offered. Terrible customer service.
This place is a joke! Nothing on shelves, dysfunctional, rude staff. Outrageous prices.
$18 dollars for self serving tomato soup and a grilled cheese.
This place has everything. Quesadillas were very good.
Good hors doeuvres and other essentials
Great little grocery/liquor store!
Had to wait 30-45 minuets for a pizza that wasn’t veary good and cold.
Nice, quaint place. Terrible coffee and espresso.
Good food, great staff
Our favorite pizza in town, oddly enough! A bit expensive for groceries but lots of neat little items to be had here.
Everything you need and more for your visit.
Super super expensiveGreat foodThey NEED to keep the kitchen open later. At least 9pm
Way to expensive. You will pay $6 for two bowls of cereal!
Great service, great selection, great food.
This place advertises delivery. I have called 4 different occasions and no delivery.
A little spendy but super convenient mountain location.
Great small shop, quality food
Great to go food!
Employees said the large pizza was much larger than it actually was. Overall sloppy service - will not be coming back.
The deli rarely disappoints!
If you need beer early, they are selling during all normal hours
Nor even one veggie or vegan sandwich option :(
Try the fries! Omg!
Convenient to Gondola Plaza....expensive.
Try the breakfast sausage sandwich
Ex employee. Just not a very good business in general.
Totally overpriced.
Awesome burgers
Crazy overpriced ($4 for an apple) and literally no options besides pasta for lactose-intolerant or vegan patrons.
Limited menu but the beat breakfast in town
Pricy
Wow! Great find!
