I went in home depot on vandyke and 16 mile rd. I needed a pouch for screws a box cutter and a apron with pockets for work. When I went in I was immediately greeted and spoke to. Then I asked this nice gentlemen for help he made me feel comfortable I get nervous when I have to look for stuff. He took me and graciously helped me pick out all three items he was such good help. Needless to say i left happy and i got all my stuff for work the cashier was awesome as well thanks home depot. I recommend this store to everyone. They get definitely get two thumbs up.
The employees in Tool Rental always have something smart to say over the phone. They seem to have a change of attitude when you hang-up and appear 10 minutes later at their counter. Then they suffer from extreme amnesia when you ask them to repeat what they said on the phone. #shutyourmouth

Excellent customer service. I took my Mother-in-law to purchase a refrigerator. There was a large selection of standard refrigerators, which was great to see. The sales associate that helped us was great. My Mother-in-law purchased a refrigerator and is happily waiting for it to be delivered. I highly recommend this store.
This home depot is my local home depot. I would just give five stars but their isnt anything super special about this location. This location is very good for online pickup compared to others closer to the city center. Also this store is pretty clean and everyone is nice. Its just really hard to get five stars from me. In my opinion everyone gives them away way to easy.
This review is for anyone looking to have a bathroom renovation done through the Sterling Heights Home Depot. The contractor that they use is terrible at communicating or following through. The store needs to find a different company to contract with.We have been trying to get an additional quote from Northern Star Contracting Services LLC. for several months. We were put in touch with them initially through Home Depots renovation service and they came out, looked at what we wanted done, and said theyd call within a week to give us a quote. They never called. We called multiple times, spoke to someone at the front desk who couldnt understand why we hadnt been contacted and left multiple messages; still no call back.We reached out to Home Depot to hopefully have someone else come out, but Northern Star was who contacted us again and we had to explain that their company had already been out and we just wanted our quote. Again, they sent someone out and this time we actually got a call back! My husband said we needed to discuss the quote once I was home and we would call them back. We discussed, agreed it was a good price, and called them back and left a message because there was no answer. Once again, no call back, no communication. We gave up.Eventually we reached back out to Home Depot to have a larger project quoted and were again put in contact with Northern Star. Again, they came out, said we would get a call back, and again we received no contact. Phone calls and emails are ignored to the point of utilizing Home Depot as a go between, which is absurd. This final time, whoever my husband spoke to on the phone invited him to come to their office to discuss the project and get a quote, since theyve already seen the space and have the measurements. That meeting was for today (6/23/21). He showed up at the agreed upon time (2:00PM) and there was no one there to speak to in person or answer the phone.

The associates were very helpful and resourceful. I was there to pick up a part for my Kohler faucet as listed on their website but the store did not have any of them in stock. The associate walked me through the process and ordered it for me on their website and got it delivered home for free! Great job guys

Spoke directly to (evening) store manager on 9/1/21. Didnt get her name, but she was extremely helpful, understanding and very kind.
Tool rental guy was rude. He complained about being busy and not being able to sit down more. I felt like my presence was exhausting for him. He lead me in the wrong direction on my project. They helped me at Lowes.
There was no staff available for assistance even after being called on several occasions by several shoppers in the plumbing isles.
Place was very busy but I was in and out in a matter of 10 minutes. Great selection on many items. Cleaner than most of the other home depots I have been at.
Items I needed were in, there were people around to help, just had to go through 4 before 1 could direct me properly. Met with Paul Smith to consult for kitchen design. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful, and also explained the process and what to expect when remodeling. Am curious to see what plans and suggestions he will come up with.

Very impressed with the service. I didnt get the name but he was banding a pallet in lumber area. I did my research online and located my item in was in a bottom bay I am unable to bend much so I asked the young guy in the area if he could help me. That he did He got down and got me 40 bed slats. I so appreciated him and his help. Off to the checkout and Jennifer was pleasant and greeted with a smile. Thank you to you both.

I love the smell of Home Depot when you walk in. Noticed greenery and lumber is up in price and not much is on sale like other places. There wasnt a sales person to assist me....or even ask if I needed help...but they are hiring.
Extremely friendly staff at this location.I ordered some foam gym floor mats on the Home Depot app and they were ready for pickup an hour earlier than expected.When I went to pick them up, the customer service rep was very polite and quick to gather my mats and get them to me.
Ive never been to a location with more incompetent folks. Everyone has on a home depot vest but no one works there. Trash location. Save yourself the headache and dont bother, no one knows what theyre doing there. Asked for help from 5 diff people and all pulled the same move.

Tried to pay with store credit and they insisted I had 0 balance. Refused to look into the matter and sent me to auburn hills where I made the return and recieved card. Got there and guess what, full balance. Sterling Heights was rude and the asst manager is 100% to blame for this review
Bad customer service I ordered the appliances it took me four months to get them and they was damage and they won’t even take them back and they give you a run around with the managers .

Placed a order online and got a email stating they canceled a item due to no stock. The web showed 31 pcs so asked the lady at the service desk why they back ordered this item when it say you have 31 her reply was guess we are out of stock. As a former employee there I simply asked did you check the over heads as I know very few do she got rude and said its out of stock. That store just lost a loyal customer as i canceled the whole order and ordered it from Menards
Great location. A place you can go and get help or ask questions regarding your projects and get folks who care, are honest and know what theyre doing. Very busy store it does require patience but youll definitely get the answers you seek!

Could not find the things I Wanted
The pro desk helped me find and purchase my fence panels very effectively even though they were very busy. Then Jason Walker from the lot crew was right there to help me load all of the panels into my pickup. Super hot day and he didnt complain one second about it. Very thankful for the great customer service from them and Jason.

Came here looking for firewood for my bonfire and asked 3 workers to help me find it and I felt like I was sent on a wild goose chase. They all told me it was in areas that no wood was to be found. Complete waste of my time. It felt like they were just trying to dismiss me instead of help.

This HD location is always busy and with long lines which makes it a drag. I needed to buy blinds and there were a few people waiting to be helped for custom orders. As it turned out i only needed stocked items and an associate, Frank, was able to help me choose the right items. I was very impressed at his high level of service and expertise which made my experience at HD Colma II a good experience after all in spite of the long lines. Thanks!
Very clean store and products are correctly placed on the shelf where they belong. Employees are very helpful and the return counter is usually fast, Best Home Depot in the area by far .

This Home Depot was friendly, and safe. Sanitizer and mask was available and disinfectant for the carts was also available. The inventory was neat stocked and plentiful. The employees offered their assistance with a friendly smile.
Gentleman in the electrical department was very helpful.
Getting help here can be really hit or miss. There are some employees that are really helpful and some that totally arent. Today was definitely more of the second one. There have been other times where employees have been a great help though.

Before COVID-19, this location was great and it remains great. Safety precautions are in place and theyll even give you a free mask if needed. Self-checkout also makes it quick and convenient, but I wish they brought back card readers that had NFC for digital payments.

Always a challenge finding an employee for assistance. We ended up leaving because we couldnt get help. We had someone paged but they never showed up. This seems to happen almost every time weve visited Home Depot which is why we dont go very often.
I miss the hot dog stand
Was trying to pick up 8 lag screws. In the box that was labeled the size that I wanted, there were 7 different sizes of lag screws. Some had one or two of a certain size and some had more. Didnt have a tape measure so I grabbed the size that had the most of a similar size. Guess I should have taken it to compare with others because I got the wrong size and cost me another trip. Frustrating 😡
Just bought 3 toolboxes in Warren and asked if they have more, the gentleman send me to this store telling me that they have 6 in stock .I got to the store asking for the boxes and Dan and Jeff were very rude and lazy to even look for it telling me that the system is wrong. If you dont want to help customers stay home please. Unfortunately, as a contractor we spend a lot of money every day and we receive the worst customer service.

Ordered and bought stuff online last night, went to pickup today. Waited in line about 15 minutes + to pickup my order. Glad it was all there and looked right. Told they had 4 and 5 inch flooring threshold in stock. after waiting for the 1 gal in flooring talking to a customer, asked a couple other guys for help. not my department, see her. Back to wait, after standing waiting another 15 minutes she finally broke free to take me to where the thresholds were supposed to be. 5 inch sold out, and another stock location had 6 inch where the 5 inch belong, but no 5 inch anywhere. At least she had a friendly attitude.
Very difficult to find assistance from the associates. Also they only had one line for checkout. I definitely will not be going back there.
Came here and purchased a freezer. It was a floor model. They were very friendly and accommodating. I went to Lowe’s in Sterling Heights on metro parkway, can you say Garbage. They had a manager there named Frank, biggest idiot out here. Be careful and do not go to Lowe’s. This Home Depot will take care of you.
The only good thing of my kitchen remodel has been the installation of my granite counter tops by Mike & Ryan from Tile & Stone Works. Prompt, informative and thorough. Would DEFINITELY work with them again.
