I had the banana milk tea. Tasted pretty good, and was made with real bananas. The boba was soft and fresh. It was pricey,m at about $6 for a cup, maybe due to the fact they give your tea in a glass jar with a metal cap. The dining area was cozy and has power outlets

I had never had bubble tea, but my kids say this is the best boba in our area…and the place is an hour from my house. They go often and always return their glass jars for the 10% discount.As a person new to boba, I got the strawberry green tea with boba. I love green tea, and the strawberries were fresh and smashed before adding to my drink. The boba was soft and chewy, and honestly just too much for me to eat completely, but I get the appeal, it’s like a candy texture without all the sugar.My kids raved about their drinks, and they assure me this is the best boba around.

I’ve been to probably just over a dozen bubble tea places and this one takes the cake. This is the best bubble tea I have ever had by far. I ordered the coconut taro one and they let me know its made with real Taro so they offered to let me sample the paste to make sure I would like it, and I really did, the finished product is by far the best I’ve had as Taro is usually my go-to at bubble tea. The tapioca bubbles were really good high quality just the way I like them, and, the service was like amazing. I wish this place was closer I would be going everyday!

The mango smoothie with boba and mango jelly was so good 🤤🤤 will definitely go and try different drinks! Loved how the boba had great flavour too. Also the jar they serve in is also really good 👍🏻

Hands down the best boba tea spot we’ve tried so far in Michigan. Love that they use real fruit & sugar cane and have extremely creative milk tea, fruit teas and smoothie options! We live really far from the area but have gone twice in the past couple weeks already! Highly recommend using their app, super easy to use and you can control the sugar level. (We prefer it at 125% sweetness)

I would recommend this as the place to go when looking for bubble tea. It is well made, and tastes great! There is an item on the menu for everyone, and because of that I have to give it a 5/5! (The Mason Jars are awesome too)

The bubble tea here was great, I’ll definitely be coming back, I got the banana milk bubble tea and if I could drink it every day I would. The reusable cups are also great!

THIS PLACE IS SO CUTE!!!! I love that all their milk teas or whatever you order comes in a glass mason jar! The teas are also super fruity as fresh. I drive 20 mins almost every well to get this bubble tea when there’s 3 by my house only 5 minutes away!

They have a drive thru but I would recommend others go inside and order. It may be less wait time. Otherwise their butterfly drinks and their pink lemonade drink is good. Their spicy tater tots are good as well for a good price. Would recommend coming here for their drinks! Parking space is limited but I’m sure you can park at other establishments.

Only giving 4 stars because they are expensive and lack variety. They also only come in one size. That being said, they have cute reusable glass jars you can bring to get a discount on your tea. I really like their milk tea and strawberry banana milk tea. I believe it is made with non-dairy creamer. I am ashamed at how quickly I finish mine.

I usually stop here sometimes after my long hospital shifts and always get greeted by Katie. Shes super nice and always manages to surprise me with a drink that Ill like. In my opinion, shes the best employee there.

Came here with friends for take out. They are currently only doing carry out and drinks only. The staff was very friendly and helpful for us first time visitors. The interior is well decorated in a classy minimalist style and lots of outlets around the seating that will be nice for studying or working when indoor dining is available. Drinks are all in a reusable glass jar that can be brought back for 10% off your next order. I ordered the Hong Kong Milk Tea with salted foam (I’m not a huge boba fan). I would definitely order again and they have lots of options for toppings and customizations to create a unique experience each time.

🤔🤔🤔 It was not what I expected. I drove 26 minutes due to a late night craving for boba tea. Its drive thru only. I asked for a mango smoothie with mango boba, to only find out they only carried the original flavor of popping pearls. Slightly disappointed, but ordered anyway. I ordered the Peach black tea, the mango smoothie, and a strawberry green tea. The Peach Black Tea and the Strawberry Green Tea, both gave off a bitter taste. The mango smoothie was not a smoothie at all. It was basically a mango milk blend. The glass jars were a cute idea!!

Overall the bubble tea was good but way too pricey for the small cup you get.They come in nice glass containers though that can be reused. It was an interesting experience, but I likely wont return. I could justify the price with keeping the glass containers, but we dont need any more than the two we got this first time.

This place is fantastic! I love that you get special Kuma Boba glass jars and can bring it back in to reuse. When you bring their glass back in, you get a % off of your future drinks! Super fresh ingredients and they dont use any powders or syrups! Totally recommend to anyone thats into tea or fresh/healthy drinks! Definitely coming back for more~

My friend and I came here for the first time since she saw their IG page and the boba is as delicious as it looks! All the employees were so nice in this chic place. The taro I had was fresh and so good with the coconut milk--and you get a cute reusable glass mason jar that helps lessen the single-use trash being put in the world! Cant beat that for only $7.

While it wasn’t my cup of tea because I never had boba my husband was head over heals in love with it and drank both of our drinks. I gave 5 stars because not everyone going to like the same thing and the amount of happiness he got was enough for me. I’ll try the smoothies and maybe update this.

I really love this place, they have a drive through and when they place your order it is done in less than 5 minutes. The employees are very friendly and their drinks come in tall Mason Jars with their own logo on it! And the best part is they are open until 11 pm. Highly recommend for a refreshing drink.

Being from Toronto, Ive had my fair share of good bubble tea... Kuma Boba is up there on my list.The HK and Thai milk teas are made perfectly. Excellent balance of tea flavor and milk. The tapioca has the perfect amount of chew, not too firm not too soft. As the ice melted, the drink maintained its flavor.The reusable bottle is aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly. Bring the bottle back the next time and you get a 10% credit on your purchase.Price is very competitive considering the quality of the drink and the glass bottle.There is also ample amount of chairs to study at.

By far, Kuma has the best quality teas in the metro-detroit area. Their menu even calls it Premium Milk Teas and for good reasons! Their milk teas really brings out the complexity of the teas and a definite must try.Their drinks are pricier than other boba places and is well worth the price. Each drink comes in a custom reuseable glass bottle. Either keep it or bring it back for 10% off your next drink.Minor downside is its not as customizable as some of the other boba places (single size), but more than makes up for it with an unique diverse offering thats all really good.

Every once in a while, my kids want to try boba tea. We ordered two mango strawberry green tea with no ice, normal sweetness, and boba. I didnt want any ice because I was running errands and didnt want the ice melting before I got home.Unfortunately, the drinks were ready when I arrived. With ice. Melted ice. It tasted fairly diluted when we drank it. Very watered down with no sweetness. My kids were horribly disappointed.Kudos for the glass jars that can be exchanged for ten percent off your order.

I like how it’s different than most boba shops and it’s refillable so there’s less waste. They did take a little long to make the drinks and their menu is a little small. But it is the grand opening so hopefully they get a little faster. The workers are very nice and I really like my drink!

If I lived closer, Id definitely have a problem. Kuma is kinda on the pricier side but Id say its worth it. Got the Hong Kong Milk tea and Jasmine Milk Tea both with the tapioca pearls. You can taste the difference to places that just use powder. Dont think you can adjust sugar levels here but I usually go with 0-25% and was happy with the sweetness level of my drink at Kuma. Tapioca pearls tasted fresh and were a nice balance between firm and chewy. Definitely looking for a reason to be back in the area so I can try some more of their menu.

Second time being here was yesterday. I truly love their tea. But this time it didn’t set right. My bf got a smoothie and I got the milk tea. Instantly after he was done drinking it he said his stomach felt off. I felt completely fine. Well 2am he woke up with intense stomach pains and nausea.. I had a few sips of his and my stomach doesn’t feel 100% so I can only imagine how his feels. Sounds/feels like food poisoning.

I got the Chocolate Milk Tea today and it was SO delicious!! The quality is top notch and I will definitely be back!! :]

Kuma Boba is a great place to try Boba teas from! They offer multiple drinks with free toppings. On your first purchase, you get reusable glasses, that you can bring next time for 10% off! They are a little bit pricey, but they only use premium ingredients. I recommend the Strawberry and Banana smoothie with salted foam, and with an order of their Spicy Tots! I really enjoy Kuma because of the quality of their tea and the ease and efficiency of their drive thru! I brought my glass and lid from last visit and my own straw. Even with one window, the experience was easily less than 15 minutes. Pictured is the Kuma Tea with boba, its black tea and brown sugar with cream/milk and delits delicious! Ive tried a few things at this point and everything is delicious. The make their own boba and that is the creme de la creme--just wonderful texture and flavor!

Really good tea. Drinks are never too sweet, and the valentines special chocolate covered strawberry was so good. They use real fruit in their drinks so the freshness adds to the quality for sure. I appreciate the simple pricing.

Been here twice now and I don’t think I’ll go back. The first time I had the Hong Kong milk tea and it was ok but it after a while I felt a little sick and the person I was with felt the same. Second time we went I had Jasmine milk tea and I couldn’t finish it cause again it wasn’t sitting right. The menu setup is easy which is good and the staff is nice but the product just isn’t good.

The first time I came, the Matcha tea was terrible. Tasted like I had a mouthful of powder and it was warm. I came one more time and it was a little bit better. I ordered the coffee bubble tea and it was alright. My favorite thing was that the pearls were amazing compared to the first time I came. They were very soft and easy to consume. I wish I received more tea than shown in the picture for paying $6 or so.

The kuma milk tea is the best classic milk tea that ive had out of any place that ive been to, and I really appreciate the glass cups but the bubble tea is a bit more expensive compared to other locations

After moving to Michigan from Asia, I’ve been on the hunt for a boba place that tastes authentic and I finally found them! I had Kuma boba with 50% sugar and light ice. It was really good comparing to Kung Fu Tea down the street. The small complains I have is that it is on a pricier side (but hey I love the glass bottle) and I think there are not enough pearls for a regular boba.Definitely will revisit in the future!

My favorite place to get bubble tea. Unlike a lot of other places, their drinks don’t taste artificial. I always order the strawberry milk tea and it’s nice to see that they use actual strawberries instead of some artificially flavored strawberry syrup. It is a bit expensive but at least you get a discount if you bring a jar back.

My friends and I passed by this place after we’ve seen some pictures on Instagram. The place is very nice and the staff is very friendly. Ashley was especially nice; she offered us free samples when she knew it was our first time. We got Thai tea, Kuma milk tea, coffee milk tea, butterfly lemonade, and mango smoothie. You will for sure find something to match your taste buds here. Give it a try!

I first heard of this place on instagram and decided to try out their bubble tea and I am really glad I did. The staff were friendly from the second we walked in ( I typically mention that since customer service is key in my reviews first.) The atmosphere itself is welcoming and the place is perfect for instagram and snapchat pictures to share with all. Kuma offers a program where you get a discount when bringing back their mason jars that they utilize to serve their bubble teas. The menu has a variety of products and I chose the coffee bubble tea. It was delicious in taste and smacked my taste buds from left to right. What I really like about this place is the level of customer service and how involved the owners themselves. I even reached out to the owners once and they responded in a timely and respectful manner answering all my questions. Please take the time to support this local business if you are in the mood for some Bubble Tea, I see big things in their future. Cute place, I appreciate the drive thru service. Love the jars! I got the coconut coffee and mango strawberry green tea, both with boba. They were good but nothing to exactly write home about. The boba didnt come with a sugar syrup and they had a bit of a stale flavor. Expensive at $6 a drink but happy to support a local business.

Big fan of Kuma Boba! I drive over an hour round trip just for the thai tea. Staff is super sweet- you can tell the ingredients are fresh and natural. Great selection... theres something for everyone here. Love the glass to-go jars.
