The waitress was phenomenal, I never had to wait for a single thing or ask for a single thing and very polite. The food was very prompt, I didnt even have time to drink a cup of coffee before it was at table. This is my first 5 star review, check them out!!

Great food and great service! Love that the menu still has all your favorite items plus some new things to try. They were very accommodating to my family with 2 young children, something that can be hard to find when deciding where to go for a quick bite. The wait staff is super friendly and new management came out to check on us and introduce themselves. Dont be afraid to check them out or go back to an old familiar place! We were lucky enough to visit when they had Santa visiting! Great family restaurant, thank you!

The service was great. Food quality and proportions were so-so. I had the club sandwich which was big and tasted fine. I notice the fries come in separate baskets. This was my second time here. Not a bad Coney Island. Lets just say I have something to compare it to. And the food quality is somewhat so so. The dining room looks like its been around awhile.

Service was beyond great. Food however. Was a joke. My table had ordered 2 chicken swarmmas. We both agreed that the grilled chicken had the nastiest fish flavor. So unless this store is using special fish flavored Chicken I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU COME TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Who knows what their cook(s) did to achieve fishy tasting chicken. I expect to be sick tonight. Thanks Coney Island. You were very unique ❤

Unique Coney Island is a superb establishment. The atmosphere and the ambiance are one of peace, serenity, very welcoming. The food is a cut above the rest. The menu is filled with food so delicious looking it makes for difficult decision making. I chose the Greek omelet with hash browns ( grilled onions added), and I was pleased that there were other options for toast so I ordered a bagel and cream cheese. The food was served in a very timely fashion. They serve the best hash browns I’ve ever tasted. They were a golden brown color, just the right amount of crispness on the outside and much to my surprise soft and buttery goodness on the inside. I truly enjoyed my meal. The customer service is magnificent. The server was prompt and very attentive and she even went the extra mile. I recommend you try this restaurant because you’ll absolutely love it just as I do. I cannot wait to return and try something different.

My First time visiting Unique Coney Island man what a Great service and The Cook is Amazing shout out to the Cook with the Glasses. That omelette was on point. I highly recommend this Coney to anyone. I usually go to National coney Royal oak location but when I heard that People talking about how good the food is at Unique coney, that my new spot it’s worth the drive.

Im always more comfortable in a restaurant that looks clean. This place has cool decor and the staff is helpful and kind.Even though the booths are kind of small it didnt matter because the food is brought to you hot and it is very delicious. Ive only been once but I highly recommend and Ill be going back again soon for breakfast.

Ordered a coney. The quality of food is bad. Its a coney island restaurant so I ordered that. Hot dog was dried out and shriveled, the onions were spoiled, the bread was not stale which was a nice surprise, the chili was ordinary but edible and didnt taste questionable like the hot dog and the mustard was what you would expect. There prices are comparable with other Coneys yet their Coney is the worst ice ever had in Michigan. Asked better half if shes had a worse Coney anywhere and she couldnt think of a worse experience. The waitress was pleasant and worth her weight in gold but the I cant in good faith give more than a one star. The experience was definitely unique.

Its like the owner took all the things I liked about the restaurant when it had the previous name and made all of them better. The chicken on the hani is so much better. It is fresher, not over cooked and more of it! Its extremely clean and the staff is very, very friendly! Lots of new options on the menu too!

JUST STAY AWAY! Heres why ...I believe Unique Coney Island (UCI) used to be National Coney Island (NCI). I think someone who worked at NCI or owned this NCI franchise (Sterling Heights), sold it and opened UCI immediately after. The food at NCI was oftentimes so bad, I actually got sick on a couple of occasions (food poisoning). I tried to report them to the local health department, but their reporting process was so drawn out, I just dropped it. Carryout breakfast often appeared as if food had been transferred from someones plate (who didnt eat it) into a carryout container, then resold at full price. Because UCI is in my area, I said to myself ... Okay! Ill try this place. Maybe its totally new ownership!!. WRONG!! Same bad food, and I think same chef ...When I walked into UCI tonight, the chef looked like the same chef that worked at NCI. Really hungry, I decided to play it safe an only order a chicken greek and 2 spinach pies, to be split between a friend and myself. The spinach pies were DISGUSTING!! These werent typical spinach pies. These appeared as if the chef sprayed them with Pam, threw them on the grill, then flattened them!! Who eats re-grilled, flattened spinach pies? Even the lingering taste left in your mouth was really odd. (See pic showing grease on white paper towel after dabbing just a single side of one spinach pie).Now, onto the Greek Chicken salad ...The salad was much better, but even this was bad. After looking at the spinach pies, my friend refused to eat the salad. (I think I should have followed her lead.) The chicken was cut into strips like french fries. It was as if the chicken was cooked yesterday, left out all day, then thrown in the fridge overnight, then brought back out the following day and recooked on the grill. The feta cheese was odd. There were portions where the cheese was chunky and chewy, and the Greek dressing was tasteless.Its sad when youre hungry and you PAY a restaurant to feed you, yet you cant eat the food. But, ironically, 30 minutes after eating the spinach pie and a little of the salad, I ended up with -- diarrhea. AGAIN!This is likely why I dont see many cars in the parking lot of this restaurant. Folks, stay away from this restaurant!! They dont value you as a customer and could care less about serving you bad food.Reporting these places to the health department is a little complicated. But its nice knowing reviews exists to warn others.

I enjoyed it as far as Coneys go. It isnt my favorite one by any means, but it certainly satisfied. My waitress was lovely and funny and it was welcoming, but kind of cold in there.

I went there with my family, and the waitress name was Anne, she was the best. I ordered the fish dinner and the unique fish pita, it tasted good and delicious!!!! The cook name is Nate, he is the best cook ever, I just found my new spot, I love it!!!
