Went to Toys-R-Us looking for a specific toy they said they carried in-store on their website. Checked for the right location and everything maybe 20 minutes before arriving at the store to pick it up and it wasnt there. It wasnt even in any drivable range. The store clerk that was helping me found it online at other store locations but when she called the stores they didnt have it either. This wasnt even one of those hot Christmas best selling toys. It was a remote control car. We were eventually able to order it at the Toys-R-Us website. It came before Christmas and all were happy but I didnt like the runaround.

Havent been in this store in forever. My daughter wanted to go. Was clean and organized very well. Toys were readily on display and working for her to play with as we made our way around the store.

I would give Toys R Us a higher rating, however I feel that it is probably pointless since they are going out of business and I just saw a picture of Geoffrey the giraffe leaving the store and Ill Hawaiian T-shirt with a rolling suitcase. Toys R Us as a throwback to my childhood, and Im sorry to see it go. Where will kids be able to wander the aisles looking for the perfect toy? Internet shopping just isnt the same for toys... At least from a kids perspective.

Overpriced of course but everyone knows that about toys r us. Have almost nothing Pokemon, only about a fourth of an isle. A lot of young boys are into Pokemon... at least my sons a d nephews are. Id suggest to get more variety.

Love this store. They usually have everything stocked nice and easy to find. Cant believe they are closing. I will NOT be transitioning to online shopping with Amazon or anyone else. This was my one stop shop for birthdays & Xmas. :(

Nice place for kids infants. Lot of toys good price every baby stuff available. Place for toys for all ages. Good environment for playing also. Countless toys all verities

This place is pretty good. Only complaint is I don’t get any cellular signal in the building. I don’t know if they can do anything about it but it makes it tough to make sure I got the right item or to ask my family if I they approve of the toy I like for the birthday kid.

Nothing special, just a toy store. No employees acknowledged our existence, even from what appeared to be higher up management that were walking around with clipboards. Yes, they had a decent selection, but nothing that really interested us unless it was overpriced.

This store is great when it comes to having rare items in stock; however, the cashiers always seem to mess up my transaction or add my reward points to the wrong phone number 😢. Equally disappointing, the staff is helpful somedays...guess it depends on the way that the wind blows, BUT, DEFINITELY EXPECT NO ASSISTANCE DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON and store pick up is SUPER DISORGANIZED. Unfortunately, this is the better looking toys r us in my area, so, I have decided to stick with online ordering unless it is just completely unavoidable and/or my toddler ask to go to toys r us awesome...as she says..lol...thanks to toys r us and their great marketing.

Went in to purchase a gift for my nephew, found the perfect gift. When I went to check out, the item rang up higher than it was advertised for. I offered to show them where I found the item. Instead, I was told there was nothing they could do, and that was it. They didnt even attempt to price check the item or make sure it wasnt listed on the floor with the wrong price. So I left empty handed and disappointed with the customer service.

I am so saddened that this company is going out of business. An iconic place from my childhood, gone. I dont know why people didnt shop here more. The prices are reasonable and you can pretty much find ANY TOY OR GAME you could want here. I dont know how something like this store can ever be replaced. Im so sad that my grandchildren wont get the same amazing experience I did being a Toys R Us kid. I keep praying some miracle will happen to save the company but I fear we are far past that possiblity. So sad to see people come out in droves to take advantage of a dying business, but not to support one that was a part of most of our childhoods.

Went to purchase a Nintendo Switch and got in line before the store opened. A manager told us he would hand out slips of paper which entitled us to purchase one Switch. The whole process was extremely easy and all the employees were very friendly even at 9:30AM on a Sunday.

Very friendly staffs... Love how the staffs greets you at the door and would ask for help... love good service and great staffs...

Store was understaffed unfortunately & the toys here are expensive for my tastes Also while checking out they try to sell you on their credit card. Im all for them advertising it but please not at check out when understaffed. Have a second booth and catch people when they walk in so it doesnt slow check out.

Their selection is good and prices are reasonable, but the difficulty in finding helpful staff, the chaos in the store, unorganized shelves, and ridiculous return policy make shopping here a nightmare. I avoid it at all costs; go to Target instead. Nicer people, easier to find things, and you can actually return something without a huge hassle!

Very large, clean, and organized store. Employees are friendly and courteous. Bathroom is nice and clean as well.

I love it for shopping for the kids and relatives... Sad to see the store go... Now I have to look for a place for toys.

Only reason I am giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because no toys r us looks like its ever been updated. The store wasnt dirty, but just dated and worn.

Ahh. Memories will fade and no one will remember being a toys r us kid anymore! Its unfortunate what happened this this company by private equity greed. We will miss you toys r us. We took our kids for one last hurrah and will now need to find a new birthday/celebration tradition

My family absolutely loves going to TRU!!! and is so sad to see them going out of business... after a lifetime and childhood being spent there we cant imagine a world without Toys R Us...truly the end of an era so so sad

I sent my aunt into your 13801 Lakeside Cir, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 location to pick up an online order and I must say that she received the most unorganized customer service I have ever seen for site to store, immediately they sent her to a kiosk without asking her what she was there for which was frustration enough only for them to struggle with finding her order, all which would have been prevented by asking her for her name. She drove almost an hour for two elmo dolls, the least your employees could do was provide actual assistance to her.

Best toys r us around, and most of the workers are really nice and very helpful.

Im disappointed that they let their employees buy hot new toys so they can sell them on the internet for 5 times the mark up. I was dumb enough to buy some for my daughter because she wanted them for Christmas. When I went to the ladys home it looked like a fingerling depot. I caught the lady before her heading to work and she was wearing the uniform. Unreal. Stupid fingerlings!!!!!

This particular Toys R Us always has old toys. They never have the newest toys - youll have better luck finding those newer items at Walmart or Target.

This store needs to close. The store is old and dirty and they are ALWAYS short-staffed. The deals are non-existent. ToysRUs is by far, hands down the most expensive store around. Go to Wal-Mart and get ANYTHING for just about HALF the price, and Target and Amazon are a close 2nd. TOYSRUS DESERVES TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS. Literally, Bye Felicia.

Pretty quiet Toys R Us with a good selection of Thomas and Friends trains and sets. They do need to restock though.

I stopped by Toys R Us as I heard they were going out of business! I wanted to purchase baby pjs! At $29.00 ( from birth on up) I put them back and found a 5 pc set at Costco for $16.00! Staff isnt too helpful and around Christmas time, they over stack their main aisles with boxes of toys way past six feet. Regardless, most of their items are in stock and they have a good selection.

Went on Saturday and purchased a few small items. They had NO bags left in the store for purchases. How can this be? Who runs this store? Everyone was walking out with toys in their arms. No chance in hiding these purchases from your kids!

Went to get a birthday geoffrey stuffed animal for my grandson and they were out. Gave me back my coupon. Now I am calling to see if they are back in and after waiting thru he obnoxious phone message, I get cut off. Sooo, I called again, this time I was thrown on hold for 5 minutes before hanging up. Get more help on the weekends!! And dont get a kids hopes all up only to be told, nope, dont have any, come back. Well they were in from out of town, so much for the birthday surprise. Ugh

Has alot of more modern toys and technology such as tablets and game systems but the employees here dont know what they are doing and require a manager at all times

Higher prices on some toys compared to Target or Walmart. Wide variety of toys. Nice sized baby/infant section, but it disorganized and messy last time I was there. Name brand diapers and baby wipes are definitely more expensive here.

Too bad Toyrus are closing, I really like to shoo there.

Got what I needed at a reasonable price this was the fifth store I went to and the second Toys r Us. Staff was friendly and they honored the price that was quotes on the phone.

Great place for Christmas toy shopping. Biggest issue with this store is how tight the isle ways are; some isles are hard to get thru with a cart.

Very freakin rude. Went there for a free build a Halloween Lego. Was turned away because they were out. Then they started letting others build something else.We got back in line and were told they ran out of them too. Total bull crap. Kids were very upset.Employees here are rude and useless. Will never shop at this store again.
