Meijer is great because you can practically buy anything here. The greeters at the door are very friendly. A while back, I kept trying to buy fish from here but it always smelled too fishy. I always returned it. I still havent bought fish from Meijer since then. Im afraid to give it another try. Everything else is OK. Last trip we bought pajamas for the kids.

Nice, clean, neat. Top shelves are hard to reach for shorter people. Many choices for foods. Checkouts are not user friendly, as the cashout helper had to come & unlock the register often which took too much time. People behind you in checkout line are always in a hurry to make you move quicker, but you have to keep stopping to push your item passed the gate, there must be a better way. Not too interested in returning, as Ive had this same issue at other locations.

Clean store shelves and foods and clothing, all other departments and Rx in Sterling Heights Meijer were available for customers in and out with a smile. Happy shopping experience at this Meijer. All other Meijers including my Southfield Meijer stop being clueless about giving customers what they expect product availability even through this shortages shipping crisis. Corporate is in Grand Rapids Michigan yet still Ive gotta go out of my location because other Meijer stores are making it through the crisis. Clean, well lit, and organized store with a friendly staff and great selection offering a little bit of everything. There is always a sale going on that rotates week to week on different items they offer. Plus it seems like at least 1 thing I went there to buy, ends up being apart of the sale. which is an unexpected and awesome surprise! Love Meijer!

My shopping trip to Meijer was great. They did not have what I was looking for, but it is a hard to find item. I found other things, of course. A very helpful employee in grocery approached me to ask if I was finding everything I needed. Great customer service there. I do wish the parking lot was lit up better.

Great selection and service. Staff is always prompt to help me check out my alcohol at the self check out. I wish they had more selection of Scotch but they are decent.

I don’t like the pharmacy tech when she ask me if I speak Arabic so I will be helped by fellow employee who speak Arabic. I speak English well and if sh can’t find my mom on her computer for ever reason may be she can find by address, ss number, but not because she can’t find my mom name she will assume I can’t speak English well. Two days ago in the same pharmacy another tech found my mom name giving her the same informations?

Here now.... 223p on a Friday. Only 4 registers are open, and lines are literally winding back to the aisles. Good luck finding items in stock. Such a joke.

Excellent prices and quality product, great staff and great service.

Only one line being opened at noon on a Monday afternoon was a bit ridiculous given the amount of staff everywhere wandering about. There was an excessively long line of mostly elderly people waiting when “Camelia” shut her line and I was particularly saddened by her condescending tone about her LiGhT bEiNg OfF and shooing people away. It’s evident times are tough right now but please remember your job is to provide customer service and you could make or break someones day. We should respect and take care of the elderly above anything right now!

Spend thousands here every month, overall not a bad operation, however I go to buy Odouls non-alcoholic beer, find my license recently expired, Im 41, and its NON- alcoholic beer to begin with, couldnt override the system, wouldnt sell it to me.

This is my favorite Meijer to go to. Employees are always very nice. Place is clean. Fairly well stocked even on the 4th of July.

I went there to look for a phone card for my phone. Needed to add data for tracefone. But I found a shirt Ive been looking for forever. It was Donkey Kong!!! U know like the game from Nintendo 64 Donkey Kong Country. So I bought the shirt and it was in sale for a great price only paid $9.99 plus tax of course. Im so happy now and excited.

Never less than a 7 minute wait if you have a full cart. Normally it is 10-15, even if you go in non peak hours. But at least they finally let vaccinated people in maskless, so they dont get 2 stars.

I love this particular store because there is usually enough staff at check out opposed to my Meijers at Hall Road and Hayes. Also the produce is always fresh and neat. Bakery is neat, CLEAN and fresh. Also during prime of panic of pandemic they managed to keep a steady slow supply of hard to get items even things like toilet paper and wipes. Someone here knows what theyre doing! Keep it up. Now if you could help them over at Hall and Hayes wed really be talking!!!

Do not trust them with your phone number. I was trying to make a vaccine appointment. 1. Apparently they dont want to give any since I had to give them my phone number so they could call me for an appointment. 2. They IMMEDIATELY SOLD MY NUMBER! Within 3 hours of doing it online, I have received 5 new robocalls. This is ridiculous. My trust and faith with Meijer are an absolute zero. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I love this location I also like the other location which is at mound and 12 Mile but this one is one of my favorites... Thats how I felt a month ago. But honey over the holidays Im very disgusted with this Meijer location.. the bananas I bought look like a science experiment and the associates when stocking in the aisle ways are rude and nobody speaks anymore. Everytime Im in the produce section I see things that are misplaced and should not even be there. They need to get on it with this produce. Also I bought packed turkey from the meat section. And that was a huge mistake.

I love the sterling hgts meijer. I was looking for an item found it online an Ice maker and went to the store couldnt find it asked the lady at self checkout. She went the extra mile to find it. While I did my shopping. I called another meijer looking for that same item. When I returned to checkout. The lady had the ice maker waiting for me. Now thats what I call Customer Service.

Love Meijer but lately every time I purchase milk it is spoiled within a couple of days of bringing it home. I have milk in my refrigerator that does not expire for another 6 days and it’s already spoiled. I am very disappointed. I bought one bottle that tipped over in my trunk when I was bringing it home and it leaked from the top. Let’s correct this Meijer.

Meijers is always great for almost what ever you need honestly.

I went to this location the first time, and as I was self checking out, I used multiple ways to pay, and I wanted to use some of my coins and cash and the rest I will pay in card, but the employee who was there in a loud tone said this is not a coin machine and I have a long line. She was so rude I was trying to pay and leave. I will never come back to this location.

Shopped later in the day, to get my grandson craft items, had $10.00. The store was nicely cleaned with the exception of looked like a spill about the size of a large watermelon, that had been dried at least 9 days, choose my items when I got to the register the cashier told me the total and I was blown away. Something was not right. The shelves of items where too close together, my selection did was not the price of what I choose, maybe I should have done a graph of the proper selection, but that just seems out dated. Something did not add up, the man behind me gave me the worst feelings, the cashier was not interested in why there seemed to be something wrongful, others started looking at me as if I was crazy. I sat down at the bench and tried to get some composer, spoke to another cashier, she told me maybe it was mis placed. Kudos to the bakery department. Meijers always decorate my cakes to perfection. I called over the phone and told the bakery department the colors and some ice sprinkles. They did an excellent job. The cake was moist and my mom loved it. I went to the Meijers on Van Dyke and 16 mile Rd.

Horrible.. Cashier said my buddys 3yr old son couldnt push the button for lotto on the self serve machine.. Because... and quote... Its michigan lotery and Rules are rules like a 3yr old can do a scratch off ticket or any gambling for that matter and be able to understand it and go cash in a winning ticket.. Completly absurd for her to even say anything at all

My 87 year old father, who walks with a walker, attempted to buy $2000. in Best Buy gift cards. This alerted the attention of management (thank God!). After asking him a few questions, management and employees ascertained that someone was trying to scam him and alerted my father. I don’t know who you are, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart! It would have been the staff working on Tuesday, December 15, between 2pm & 5pm. I wish I knew your names. You are greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work. We all need to look out for the seniors in our community.

Ever since the redesign of the grocery section, its been such a pain to find things, the center aisle split forces you to walk both sides to even see the signage, it might help their sales but it makes the experience worse. Otherwise its a fine store, clean, and nice workers.

I love this Meijer ! Ive been going here for years despite me moving further away. Ive gone to other ones and it just doesnt feel the same. This location always has what I need. Some of the best produce in a non-specialized grocery store chain and has great deals and enough staff to accommodate their customers.

Meijer continues to go downhill. Replaces more cashiers with Self-Scans stations that don’t work. Either update the Self-Scan machines and add more, or have more cashiers available.

Clean store which seems more organized and neat than other Meijer stores in the area. No self checkout lanes that handle more than 20 items unlike the others Meijers stores though.

If the store is busy or real slow, you still have to wait in huge line to check out. It’s crazyI will never go there again

Meijer added a new feature to their app called scan & shop. You scan the bar codes of the items & check out is supposed to be quicker and more convenient. However, the instructions on the app were unclear as to the check out & payment procedures. And the clerk at the self check out lanes was too busy to explain.

We wonder why America cant eat healthy and we have an obesity problem! I had to take all this nasty lettuce out of my salad which says sell by December 15th and today is the 14th and I purchased this yesterday. Why do I have to purchase the dressing for $0.50 separately when dressing should come with the salad? How come I can stand for 20 minutes without even getting greeted at your hot deli section? Can you please pay your workers a little more because theyre worth it and maybe hire some competent people who have common sense.

I work for Shipt and as I was in the store shopping for the 5 items for my customer which is PREPAID, the employees gave me such a hassle. One of the items was air pods pro, which the employees did not give to me because they said i had to shop for the rest of my 4 items then go back to electronics to purchase all together. So i did that, searched for the employee, to come all the way back to electronics to ring me up and get the air pods out of the locked glass door. So then the employee says he cant do the transaction at electronics so he walks me up to the front to a register with a cashier available. okay so meanwhile I am being very cooperative, but then the lady says oh Shipt people have to go to self checkout. I told her as well that its a PREPAID order, all i have to do is bag my 5 items. But they insist I go to self checkout, so I continue to corporate. I wait behind 4 customers to wait to get up to a self checkout register, just to bag up my items. Okay so i bag up my 4 items, the 5th item (air pods) are now in the hands of the employee assisting other customers at self checkout. So as Im on the phone with Shipt customer service who I am explaining all the too, the lady with the air pods ask me am I ready to scan the air pods. I replied no because this is a PREPAID order, all I have to do is scan the code off my phone. as I go to do that, I tell the Shipt customer rep Im on the phone with that that order is not on my phone anymore. She then replies oh no MEIJER cancelled the order! So now there is nothing I can do or Shipt can do at this point. The representative tells me to tell the Meijer associate that its in there hands and they have to deal with the customer now. So I try to explain to the Meijer associate (who is still holding on to the air pods) what she has to do, and she just ignores me. So I walked out the store because there was nothing left for me to do. To me this felt like a race issue, but it is what it is. I am sad that the customer could not receive her items she PAID for, and I missed out on a TIP, and also MEIJER missed out on an order, all because store associates didnt want to communicate with me, or thought I was trying to STEAL air pods, OR because the color of my BROWN skin. Whatever the case was, THESE associates caused people to loose out on products and money! UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL!!!

Very clean grocery store. Big store and lots of selections.

I usually love this store. But on my visits I have seen so many people with masks pushed down on their chins. But this most recent visit there was a woman with no mask at all. I think someone should be at the door making sure people are being safe.

I started going to this meijer because I noticed it carried some different items that interest me. However this past time I went, they were out of several things smh. I prob wont go back as I pass 2 other Meijers just to frequent this one. Also seems like the cereal isle is extremely small!

I couldnt believe a store of this size was completely sold out of all of their tooth numbing stuff. Absolutely none. I asked the pharmacy lady and she told me their sold out and dont have any. Im not sure why they would be sold out of literally every product including their own name brand products. Only reason I could think of is their manager in charge of ordering stock for the pharmacy shelves is not doing her job. I could understand if it was just that product but they didnt even have any type of still softener either. Im posting a pic to show how empty the shelves are their.
