After reaching out to about 30 other dealerships in 2 months time of trying to find a car before I returned mine, Dan Vereide stepped up and helped me find the car Im currently in the process of purchasing. Ive heard it all from car salesman across the city, county, and state, wanting me to put me in cars of their choice, to playing phone tag for 3 days just trying to get info out of a few cars before I drive to see them, spamming my email, phone, etc...Dan didnt do any of that. He sat down and took 5 minutes to listen to what I needed and coordinated that with what he had available on his lot, kept me informed on the history and status of the car I wanted, even offered me a loaner car without me even asking while I waited for the car Im purchasing to get shined up in their shop. He definitely covered all the bases and helped me immensely through the process. He is not the same as every other internet-era car salesman in the area that just wants to sell you a new shiny car, take a picture with you and put it on social media and forget you as soon as you leave the lot (like some others Ive experienced) - He is the real deal down to earth salesman who made this transition smooth for me, and I thank him immensely for that.

Worst service around. $308.00 for basically a battery and a brake inspection. Was charged for oil change and fluid levels that werent topped off. Supposedly they inspected the wipers and the windshield washer reservoir and neither was the wipers replaced or was I told that they needed replaced, oh and I filled the reservoir with the gallon of Rainx 2 and 1 that I had on hand..... Ill take my chances driving to the cities for service.. So much for wanting to support local small business.

The service department was great in doing the oil change on my car and even though their internet was down so they couldnt charge me at the time, they called later with the information I needed and to let me know how much the bill was and I was able to pay it over the phone. I was a little disappointed in the fact that the tire light came on in my car on the way to the dealership. I asked them to put some air in it and I thought they would check the tire over but apparently they didnt because my tire was flat that afternoon and there was a huge screw in it. Overall, the service was great and the people were all very friendly and helpful.

We were having a good experience with Rocky the salesman who was helping us. He stepped out of the office to go appraise our car. Well while sitting in the office we over heard a couple other salesmen talking when the bald heavy set salesman said truck drivers don’t have credit that totally insulted me because my husband and myself are truck drivers .. well I think that salesman named Pete is very unprofessional and insulting and has a big mouth I think he owes us a apology and needs to be either suspended or fired because he sure doesn’t have people skills or matters

They explain things fully, look into any concern about your car and are polite and friendly When I went in for an oil change, I had a concern about a noise I was hearing after hitting a pothole. They checked everything everything over including brake line, shocks, etc. and everything was sound. This gave me peace of mind.

I purchased a truck here in January of 2020, I had to go 2x to the dmv for temporary plates because even though you pay for plates at the dealership, they sub contract that. I did not receive the title to my truck untill Sep 2020. Multiple phone calls, and finally had to contact the Secretary of State police to shake them down. Bought a truck about 2 months ago that I test drove with 0 issues, about a week after having it noticed I had a code for a possibly bad timing chain, upset to say the least, tried multiple solutions that may have fixed it before going to the severe and costly repair, nothing worked out. So it was time to get some estimates, after calling 5-6 different shops getting quotes for over $2000 pushing up to $2500 I talked with Jeff, and he estimated me roughly $1350. Really had a hard time believing it, went through with the repair, and am extremely satisfied with the service. Turns out I only had to spend $1200, and am walking away completely happy and with a truck running smooth as butter. Thank you Sterling Chevy and Jeff! Youve given me a huge sigh of relief and I couldnt be happier with the service!

As a professional mechanic, I cant believe this places service dept... a friend took there car there for some warranty work and oil change. I did an oil change 3200 miles later and found an oil filter that had NOT been changed at least in 6-10k miles (she has had her last couple oil changes done there) the oil filter cartridge was collapsed and black with sludge. I am appaled by the fact that a dealer would do an oil change and skimp out on a filter.

I have used their services three times. These folks aim to please. They arent perfect but stand responsible for any errors. Pricing is fair in so far as any shop auto repairs go. My experiences have left me to believe that they are honest. Waiting room is clean and comfortable. Rides provided if needed. Under new ownership this dealership has gone completely south… had them check a noise in a front brake and they found nothing / did nothing and told me “no charge” as they handed me the key… “drive it for a couple weeks and if you hear it again bring it back”. Hey great… then you get a bill in the mail. No problem paid it… bought my last three brand new trucks/cars there - won’t walk thru those doors again.

My 2010 Equinox check engine light came on and the engine at times ran rough. I checked my oil and noticed a faint smell of gasoline. I called Sterling Chevrolet to make an appointment. On arriving for my appointment I checked in and told them what I had noticed and they said they would do a diagnostic and see what it showed. About 15 minutes later I was told that I needed a new high pressure fuel pump and that it would be covered by my extended warranty and that they would also change the oil and put a new filter on. All would be covered by warranty including the diagnostic. Then then asked how long I had to have it fixed. I told them I had as long as it would take. They told me it would be about an hour and it was very close to that when completed. I was treated extremely well as I always have been dealing with Sterling Chevrolet. Everyone from the time I entered the building until the time I left was very professional and helpful. I had several questions concerning the problem with my vehicle as I had done some research. All of my questions were answered and it was a very positive experience. I then received a phone call a couple of days later to see how the car was running and asked if I had any other questions. Thanks Sterling Chevrolet for being there for the customer.

I had new tires put on my Equinox. Julie from service had gone over with me three weeks ago a promotion with discounts on new tires - three different brands of tires using a Capital One GM credit card. I did in fact sign up for the card and have already used it twice and will use it again today .

Cant go less than 1 star so I wont. Had the car in there 3 times for the same issue, which they never fixed. They stripped out 2 bolt holes in my engine case, reused gaskets, and didnt fix the original issue. They told me it would cost me thousands to fix the car, and that it wasnt worth doing. Its a 2013 Chevy Cruze with 80k miles. Took it to Pillars on route 30, he fixed all the issues these guys caused, and fixed the original complaint for less than 200 dollars. Highly recommend never taking your vehicle to this shop. Sterling Chevy is a joke.

Went in to get a oil change and tire rotation done gave them the keys went into lounge area. About 15 minutes passed and one of the workers sitting by computer when you drive in service area comes in lounge and tells us our oil change plug is stripped and needs to be replaced told him it has only had oil changed 4 times and done only by there dealership. Charged us for the plug. Then went on to say that the valve cover gasket was going bad and also needed replacing. The vehicle has only 35,000 miles on it . Told us its 57$ just for labor. When I replied asking if it was covered under warranty he did not reply even though it was clearly written on paper in his hand that the car had 35,000 miles on it. Being on a budget we began to worry and get upset about how much this bill was going to cost us. So we went out to talk to him. Three of them were sitting there and we asked about it being covered under warranty two had no reply and one said yes it is.Why didnt he look and tell us at first upon approaching us to tell us the problem that it was covered under warranty? Instead of causing us to get upset for no reason other than our new car we bought allready had things going out. Very dissapointed.Will think twice before buying a new car from this dealership next time. Well we were contacted by the owner today and he apologized. Stated that the persons in question were in training. Gave us a certificate for free oil change/ rotation. Very happy he took the time to make this right for us.Thank you Sterling Chevrolet!
