Great local Hardware Store. Friendly, helpful staff. Made a key, didnt work, they remade it with a smile. Sure, some stuff is a little more expensive than Menards, but who cares. You can actually FIND someone to help you get what youre after!

I love the variety of tools...I personally love this place. The only downfall is that their prices are a bit higher than other hardware stores, but the quality is good.. Its a smaller store with all the handy things you may need.... ie: tools, birdseed, paint key making and key copying. Check it out.

We absolutely love having a local hardware store and sometimes I feel like I take this for granted. Today I needed a sprinkler and I got great advice not only from the person on the floor, but also from the cashier. They recommended a sprinkler and it is so above and beyond what I would have picked. I am just so glad to have this little store and grateful for the people in the store.

Was recommended to go here to get keys cut for my Toyota. They do excellent work at a super duper fair price. They also sell the chip keys, but you may be better off getting those online at the same place where you rent a programmer, since the chip has to be programmed to allow the key to start the car.This Ace has an enormous selection of screws, bolts, n special hardware. I needed two special screws for kitchen cabinets - Menards had a whole box, which I did not want to pay for just to have it sit around collecting dust. Ace had just what I needed, and I only bought the number that I needed.

Go to spot for a local hardware store. Good selection of gardening supplies. The BBQ selection is very good.

Went for an online pickup today. It was ready promptly and I ended up buying some plants while there too. Gentleman who checked me out grabbed the rest of the items and brought them to my car without me having to ask. Great customer service. Clean store. Thanks again.

Unfriendly staff, wrong price on item which the boss grudgingly allowed us to pay the actual price (seriously, two signs, two prices, same item) and the clerk wouldnt take the Premier Ace Reward certificate.. Ace is generally a good place with helpful staff. This isnt one of them.

Jenni, these small retailers do not have the capacity to discount prices the way bigger stores do. They barely make a living the way it is. What they do offer you is knowledge that they freely give out to any inquiring person with a need, the average worker at the big box stores can not help you that way. They can tell you what isle something is in, but usually thats it. I would encourage you to continue keep patronizing that store, mostly because your shopping local that way

Dissatisfied with customer service. Product was sold to us with no knowledge by employee and stated we could use dual blades for lawn mower but can’t after I called ego. Now they are making me do a run around because of poor customer service and lack of knowledge by team. Ego states I can return product in 30 days and stated this but ace is making me do the run around. I will return product when ego confirms and never shop here again. Go to lowes in the future for all your ego needs.

Great local place to get what you need for your next home project. Every time we have stopped in here, they are always very helpful and have what we need. We used their high end paint kinda by accident (we usually use another brand, but they had a REALLY GREAT paint sale) we wont use ANY OTHER paint now. We couldnt believe how great the paint applied & looked after.

I liked it better before they rearranged the entire store.

Helped me get it in my vehicle. Very pleasant. Masked during Covid.Would definitely go here again over the big box stores.

I bought a Toro snow blower and it was defective. Because they do not service them there was nothing they could do. I had to pay $100 to have it trailered to an authorized dealer. The dealer who fixed it said there were many items not set up correctly by whoever set up the snow blower at ACE that he also had to fix. Overall a bad experience.

Despite a governor ordered state wide mask requirement, multiple employees walk around with them pulled to their neck, and multiple customers dont wear them and arent confronted. When I said something to one woman she replied I have a condition!The manager, himself unmasked when I got there, told me We cant ask about that. Untrue. You can ask if people have one, just not WHAT it is, and you CAN deny entry and offer curbside pickup, because they risk the safety of customers and employees during this time. The ADA and HIPPA isnt a blanket I get to do what I want card anybody can play when they dont actually have a condition or disability.

Watched the owner belittle one of their young workers. Calling cooperate on Monday. Dude is out of his mind acting like that.

I love this store! Ace Hardware offers so many services at one place thats wonderfully convenient! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable staff always around to assist. Polite, too. The store has a good quality variety of products which is part of the convenience of shopping there. Definitely a place to go to!

I visited Ace Hardware in Stillwater looking for a variety of nuts and bolts that I could use for an activity in my classroom (I’m a teacher). I was completely expecting to purchase the items. I asked the associates for what I was looking for and they came back with a bucket of ‘extra’ pieces and gave them to me to use in my room. They would have recycled them anyway. As a teacher who uses my own money for class projects frequently-I greatly appreciated it!

Dave is always so helpful and makes the task he helps with look so easy. I had a dead battery stuck in a gadget and he nimbly removed it, taught me about it and made sure I got the best deal on the replacement. And Kim, at the register, is always friendly, attentive and efficient.

Local hardware store is perfect for finding what you need quick. The people who work there are nice and easy to find when you need them.

We picked up a bench that we had bought online and they assembled. great service walked in multiple people asked us if they could help us while waiting for them to retrieve the bench from men back.

Shocked to find when I ordered online using the PayPal payment choice for curbside pickup, the order was immediately canceled without a given reason (suspect out of stock), notified via email, and indicated a refund had occurred. No refund has occurred. Called ACE customer service and told its an up to 30-day wait for a refund. Not acceptable. Beware the hopeful convenience of curbside pickup during COVID may turn into disastrous cancellation and NOT immediate refund. I will edit this review as time goes on about the refund process. UPDATE: Got the refund after 18 hours, so all is well. Too bad stores have a hard time keeping up with online product availability - if they could/would, seems there would be less refund headache.

I really like Ace Hardware in Stillwater. It is a nice, clean store with a vast selection of all kinds of things. Customer service is good here. Employees have answered my questions and showed me where items are located when Ive asked. Being an Ace Rewards member has benefits too. Be sure to enjoy the delicious free popcorn they have near the door. Its great! I highly recommend this Ace location.

Most of the staff is not very knowledgeable or willing to help. Small selection and over priced. I would rather drive to the other side of 36 and shop at Menards or Lowes.

Had to find furniture hardware and the gentleman that helped me, while a bit quiet and not overly happy, got me exactly what I needed in no time!

Dropped off chain saw to have chain sharpened. Was told it would be 1 week. Called a week later and was told it was not done and that it would be 2-3 weeks before it might be done. Zero customer service. Went to another store and bought a new chain.

Terry is extremely rude. Do not shop or work here. Also, good luck being an employee under horrible management. Terry makes this store a joke. Hire good people who are keen on customer retention and employee relation.

Walked in the store looked for a light bulb to replace the one burned out on my garage door. Have no experience what kind of the light Bulb I need. Saw an employee at the front his name was Jake. Hi I am looking for the light bulb for my garage door. I asked. He responded with, oh, do you want me to show you where is it, but I cant leave the register. What! Was that a joke?! I moved on. A big size female employee (cant remember her name) walked towards me, I told her what I need. She wasnt sure how to answer my question so went to looked for help. I was like well, ok... and I continue moved on. Then I asked an older male employee, he was more knowledgeable and well answered my questions with good attitude. At the same time that big size female employee showed me a type of garage opener light bulb but it wasnt LED so I didnt take it. She turned around and walked to the front and said to another employee,ha, she dont even know what she wants! Seriously? You have to make fun of your customer? I was appreciate her help even though she didnt find the right light bulb I want and I was going to tell her thank you for tried to help out. Plus I already got my answers from that older male employee. Now she turns around made fun of me!? Mhmm.Over all, the employees there are not properly trained. Wasnt a happy ending but at least I got my answers.

I was there yesterday (Sunday). Young employees were standing around, playing on their phones. The cashier didn’t offer me the choice of help getting my bags of garden soil from the outside pallet into my car, so I had to ask for it. I waited so long outside, I finally went back inside to say Where’s the help? and the same young employees were standing around, still playing on their phones - one now hiding behind a paint marketing display. Obviously, the staff of this shop are lazy and lack appropriate supervision. From now on, I will shop elsewhere.

I love this place you can go there and get local things at a reasonable price you dont have to deal with the big stores like Walmart or Lowes or Menards .
