How do you run out of propane in the summer time?!

Just returned from this location to get a propane tank filled. The propane station says: Press button for service. Press...wait. Press...wait. Press...wait. Press...wait.Finally, I realized the Press...wait cycle was not going to work, so I go inside. I eliminated the press portion of my U-Haul experience and efficiently entered the wait....wait....wait...wait portion. While standing inside the location, I decided to call them. So, I was on the phone...waiting.I spent 20 minutes waiting on somebody to show up. I was beginning to get concerned and thought that maybe somebody was tied up in the back or they had been murdered. Nope. Somebody finally came in and then told me that there wasnt anybody there who could fill my propane tank....but, I could come back this afternoon and somebody could fill it then. No thank you. You already stole 20 minutes of my life. I wont be going back.

I am new to the area living in my 5th wheel and needed to refill my 30 gallon propane tank. After reading the reviews I was cautious about choosing this business. But after a call and receiving a pleasant response, I gave them a try. I was waited on immediately by a very sweet employee who filled my tank quickly ran my credit card on the spot and I was out of there within 5 minutes.

It took 2 hours to get a unit because they could not seem to work together. Then the code didn’t work to open the door to the unit. We came back to put more things into the unit and the card and code did not work again. We had been assured it would work. No one working here is wearing masks although the sign on the door says they are required.

Great customer service

The service was very polite and knowledgeable. They helped us choose the right truck for my company during some temporary work in the area. Probably the most impressive - the bathrooms are unexpectedly well appointed and incredibly clean. They featured painted and textured plaster walls, live plants, stylish fixtures, and a television. The only thing separating this restroom from that of a 5-star restaurant was an attendant. Very pleased with my experience.

I rented a truck and a unit from them recently, the actual unit haven’t had any problems with yet. The truck however I got charged an extra $43 dollars because they had the mileage wrong even though I sent a picture into the link they sent me. Whoever answered, I believe Sam doesn’t have any customer service skills what so ever. Pretty much said you drove 54 miles and that’s end of story ( I drove 7 miles round trip). Finally called UHAULS customer service and the lady pulled up my contract and picture I sent in and saw the problem immediately. Moral of the story.. take pictures of the mileage and how much gas is in it and if there is a problem let them know before you leave.

If I could leave no stars I would. DO NOT USE UHAUL. I reserved a truck at this location via phone call. Fast forward to pick up time. I go to pick up the truck after hours as agreed and find out that the truck was never there. The girl made a reservation for a truck that they didnt even have. After waiting on the phone with customer service for over an hour I was told they wont be able to do anything for me. I drove over an hour, one way, to pick up the truck. This is the worst moving company Ive ever dealt with.

Wow is all I can say. Sam/ Samantha/Samuel is quite the peach to deal with.I called to see if they could fill my RV propane tanks a little after 6. Inner webs page said they closed at 7 pm. Sam/Samantha/Samuel answered the phone call. I politely asked “Sir, can you fill propane tanks this evening before you close.? The response I received was” Yes, and Im not a sir. I responded with” Your are not a what? Im not a sir. I said fine I will be there in a few minutes.I arrived in a few minutes as I said I would. And low and behold Sam/Samantha/Samuel.... shows up at the propane station. Proceeds to tell me that one of my tanks could not be filled due to the re-certification. It clearly said 1/18 on the sticker from the re-certification but to no avail.I was actually going to purchase two additional cylinders while I was at the store. After being treated with possibly THE worst customer service I have ever received, I left with my one full cylinder and will never return to this place EVER. I would suggest spending your money else where as well.Sam/Samantha/Samuel whatever you are.... if you are mad at the world because of your gender identity crisis perhaps you need to seek professional help.From reading the other reviews Im not the only one who had issues with you.

I returned the truck with more than original fuel, but they charged $40 fuel charge. Horrible.

The service is amazing! And they have everything I could ever need for moving. I went in to buy boxes (they have a huge variety) and they ended up helping me save money on my propane refills! They even set me up with a storage unit. The fact that each unit has its own alarm makes me feel so much better about my stuff being in storage. Icing on the cake is that the management is so sweet and they were so helpful! Thanks U-Haul! You will certianly see me again!

Even though I had rented a truck multiple times in the past with no issues at all, they couldn’t verify I had a friend in town so they refused to rent me a $10 appliance trolly. Common sense and good customer service are both lacking at this location.

Ive spent thousands at this business and Im about to rent two moving trucks.Samantha is literally the poster child of what not to be in customer service or an employee. He/she would point in general directions when I asked where something was, wouldnt help when I was pointed the wrong(ish) direction or looking at the wrongly pointed st location. Samantha wouldnt sell an item that she couldnt find on the computer- even after I offered to give cash over the amount. I suggested to just take the money, write a note, and figure it out w/ the mgr tomorrow. She said no. Then I asked if the mgr could be called for help - to no avail.

I just wanted to express my concern on my recent experiences with this Uhaul store on west 6th Street here in Stillwater. Yesterday my wife called and talked with Samatha. My wife inquired about filling the propane tank on our RV. She was advised that she should come by tomorrow when it was cooler in the morning to fill our propane tank. This was at approximately 5:45 pm. The store closed at 7 on Saturday and we needed propane to begin our 4 hour trip first thing on Sunday morning. I drove by the Uhaul store and spoke with Samatha at approximately 6:30 pm. I was advised that the propane was shut down for the night and to come back tomorrow.Today:I arrived at your store today at approximately 12:50 pm. Samatha was working and asked where to fill the propane at on our RV. I pointed to the open door on the driver side of the vehicle where the tank was and advised where it was. Samatha responded in a rude tone and advised, well I need it open. I advised again that it was, and pointed to the open door again. Samatha had great difficulty getting the propane fill hose attached to the RV. Samatha advised two separate times that she could not get the hose attached and I needed to go to another store. After the second time I asked if there was a manager and she advised you were not here today. I also advised that I felt like I was getting the run around and that I do not want to go anywhere else because I have been here once already and today is the day we are leaving. I asked if I could put the hose on and Samatha allowed me to. In a few seconds I had the hose connected and ready. Samatha took over from there.After the tank was filled I payed with a credit card. I asked Samatha for a receipt and she advised they do not have one. (This was outside) I then advised I needed one and she seemed upset and advised I could get one inside.I left not double checking the propane tank. I made it down the road to sonic by Walmart and tried to start my generator. The generator would not run and the stove would not light. I went outside to check the propane gauge. Samatha had filled the tank to full capacity 100% which is not acceptable. A warning label by the fill advised to fill the tank only 80%. This is general safety knowledge for someone that fills propane tanks.After reading other reviews I am not surprised by my negative and dangerous experience with this U Haul business. I would not do business here.

Im not saying this of U-Haul employee Samantha to be mean or vindictive, but I feel its very important i tell someone. That was simply, in many ways, the worst customer service I have seen in my entire life.

Melissa gave us great service and took extra time to remove some corrosion that had built up in our cars trailer connector. Well definitely be using this location from now on!

U-Haul has always been a good business to deal with, but this particular store has very nice people, and the customer area is not cramped or dirty. I like this store, and 99% of the time, this is where I go to get the hauling vehicles I need.

We have been with uhaul storage over a year. Its clean and they are very helpful.

Cant give zero stars I guess. All I wanted was a propane refill . Lady said she would be right with me. Other people came and left. I left 15 minutes later for tractor supply . In and out and 5 minutes without being ignored.Pathetic.
