I needed a small repair done quickly so I could complete my out of town trip. They were wonderful, so accommodating slotted me right on and the technician did a great job. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. My highest recommendation.

I have a 4 year old Tesla. While closing the trunk a bolt on the hydraulic strut broke off and part of it stayed in the vehicle. After a comedy of errors at Tesla, which included them turning me away because they couldn’t solve the problem, I was referred to Mid Cal body shop by a friend. Unbelievably they solved my problem from start to finish in less than 30 minutes. I couldn’t have been happier!! They were very kind,efficient, and proficient. They charged me a very reasonable rate and I will definitely be sending business their way in the future. Thank you Mid Cal!!!

This is a long time overdue review. Anyways I want to share my experience with Mid Cal body shop. This had been my second time going with them and I did so because of my first time experiencewith them. They definitely met my expectations! Ill be honest, Im very picky and even gave them a bit of a hard time, I must say.So second time around, I go in needing repairs on my other vehicle. Once I came across with the news of needing to replace the rubber that wraps around the inside of my door frame, I kinda lost it there. Yes, I was so paranoid, I did not want them to replace it. I explained to them why, that because not so long ago I had purchased a new Tacoma truck here in Toyota Town of Stockton, and that I was having issues with it every time I drove it on the freeway. I could hear that irritating noise of air sipping through the door somewhere. I even shared with Mid Cal the unfortunate experience with Toyota Town, of how in despite of all my attempts (and my truck still being new, under warranty), they never resolved the issue. And so immediately Mid Cal responded bring it in, well take care of it for you, and indeed they did! They immediately detected the air leak of the door and fixed it for me. Because they saw how worried I was of having that rubber replaced on my other vehicle, they didnt even charge me to to fix the air leak on my new Tacoma. And of course they also did a fantastic job on my other vehicle.In fact still today, all work theyve performed on all my vehicles, ....has been great! So if youre picky like me and youre in search of a body shop, definitely give Mid Cal a call. Youll be dealing with great people that care. I highly recommend them!

Dear Beth C; Gerald & I were at Crater lake, and the lake is beautiful. We do not know what you think you saw, however you did not see us throw a cigarette butt or any other trash out the window. We are both Non Smokers, and we carry a trash bag in our vehicle. We have never smoked cigarettes. We love the beauty of the forest and protect it.

I love Mid Cal Body Shop! I was in an accident and was dazed, hurt and unsure of what steps to take. Gerald and Jim got right to work and set me up with a rental car and referred me to a lawyer. They made sure my car was towed and contacted my insurance. They encouraged me to get to the doctor right away and to take care of myself. While I was healing, they were repairing my car and doing the negotiating with the insurance. When I picked up my car, I couldnt tell that it had been in an accident! They did such a great job and made an awful experience better. I honestly dont know how I would have gotten through it without them. Thank you Mid Cal!

The crew is awesome. Had to have some paint work done on my Jeep Wrangler and they handled it same day!Even when the paint dried weird, I brought it back in and it was fixed with no problem. I’m a perfectionist so it mattered to me and it mattered that they were kind and caring for this out of towner. They didn’t try to take advantage of that either ! (I got quotes from 3 different places and Midcal was the most reasonable). I would recommend them in a heart beat to anyone in this area.Awesome job.

I would be embarrassed to tell you just how MANY times Mid Cal has repaired my various cars over the years. Ive had many fender benders and freak accidents (like, for example, nearly tearing the door off of my BRAND NEW Honda Odyssey inside of a gas station car wash!).Gerald and Diana Young, owners of Mid Cal Body Shop, do impeccable work. They ALWAYS do more than is expected, like for instance, dealing with insurance companies to make sure I get factory parts and not knock-offs like so many insurance companies want their customers to use. Mid Cal has restored my 1959 MGA 1500. The restoration is off the frame, ground up. It is absolutely beautiful. I have had other work done by Mid Cal and there is no cracking, fading, oxidation etc after 15 years. I do apply a hand wax every 6 months. You cannot go wrong by having Dianne and Gerald do body work on your car.

They know what they doing here. OEM parts and these sales guys will tell it to the insurance rep. We want good as new.
