I went to get some minute rice. They didnt have it!!! They only had regular white rice in the bag and it was overpriced!! Almost $4. Then people in the parking lot asking for money for alcohol!!!

Lovely and friendly workers. Prices are cheaper than other stores around and is within walking distance from home.

They stay open until 11pmOnly thing is they havent been getting regular shipments in, so their inventory is really low. They have good selections of alcohol and d we decent for the beer and wine. I wish they had a larger variety.

Something positive, They are open 7 days a week. It might be the only place Besides Toms Sandwitches for a mile or 2. Seriously, I started going there for convenience a few months back. I got suspicious about My charges on several occasions, (They do not show the prices) We the customers are told the amount due only $Crazy I know, that is the way it is there. Finally I started asking for a receipt, and although I did one a few times, I noticed I was being charged for items I never bought, OR charged for 3 or 4 items, when I only had 1 in the bag.When I went back in to report, I was told I was crazy.....Do you get my drift....? Now I only go in there on diary occasions!Oh yea, they believe that (ALL WOMEN ARE LESS THAN) It doesnt matter if the are in America now.... Buyer BewareEspecially female Buyers!

Cool place

Cal Park is the naberhood store, with a nice selection of liquor. You will always find people hanging out. Not the best place because of the crime level but I think Cal Park will be in business for a long time. They open at 6am and close at 11pm everyday.

Tiny store but has everything you need, they also have great deals I love getting my snacks before bed here always feel safer and the atmosphere is always so plesent with great aroma candle and the best part the have really great staff that are so kind they definitely make you want to keep coming back 😊

I’m shocked to see so many 5 star reviews. Simply put, dangerous location and too many loitering around outside makes one feel very uneasy passing by. I would not recommend people from out of the area stopping here.

Its a average corner store it wouldnt be my first choice to go to in the neighborhood first choice would definitely be Zacks the prices are more reasonable and the guy at Zacks (my experience) is a lot more friendly and he doesnt have people hanging out in front of his place of business unlike calpark the only reason I go there because there open the latest I get off work and at times need to pick up couple items or grab me a snack I go there but be very cautious of your surroundings at all times because there be people hanging out in front sometimes people be drunk and arguing with each other and store clerk panhandlers people tryna sell they foodstamps for cash. And when its late store clerks(some of them) can be really rude towards everyone I guess after having to deal with a lot of disrespectful customers they just take it out on everyone ... So go at youre own risk as long as you be cautious of your surroundings have a idea what youre buying so you bring what youre spending & you can get in and out as quickly as possible and keep your interaction with the people around there extremely short & simple a simple have a goodnight, thanks, no thank u whichever one is right for the occasion and your visit should go just fine.

Its Clean inside and outside and u know what you are doing when you get to the bathroom and toilet and sink and laundry mat to wash ur Clothes there its a good day a and I have been trying to figure out how to get some good news about the dark and light stuff that I need and have to wash

Fee for check cashing is never the same. They over charged me last time. When I complained the cashier instructed me that I can go somewhere else if I dont like it. Ive been going there for years. I dont understand the change of fees. When I just asked I got a lot of bad attitude.

Had to walk thru a lot of neighborhoods this day and stopped to get something to drink. They were friendly and helped me out even though I was grumpy and being rude. I should get 1 star for this night. They would get 5 if the socializing by another 4 customers at the register the whole time I was there was not hectic in an already crowded store.

Ive leaved downtown for 5 yrs and onlyhave seen 2 shootings infront of the store. my kids and friends kids go there all the time and never had anything go wrong they are nice there and care alot for customers always calling us by name when we enter.
