WARNING. Unsafe Vehicle. I reserved a 26 ft truck 5 weeks in advance for a 2400 miles x-country move. I was promised a 2016 or newer model. I was sent to this location 50 miles from the reserved location. I was given a unclean (cabin and bed) 2008 truck with the check engine light on. I was told to take it or leave it. had to take it since I flew in to move my items that day. It gets worse! 1000 miles in to the trip the oil pan light comes on and I later learn it ran out of out. added 10 quarts when I could find a place ($55). I was told to drive it as long as it did not overheat!. 200 miles from home the radiator blew and I pulled off to the next exit. After 3 hours at the truck stop a repair agent confirmed the situation. I was then promised a tow and 10 minutes later said it was too far, they were working on a solution, My wife was able to arrange a tow home for $2200. I am not out $2250. I had to fight to get $1550 toward my out of pocket. Just awful to send a man in his 60s on a x-country move by himself in an old un serviced truck. I was promised full reimbursement by 2 other uhaul representatives.

Bought a wiring harness for my 2013 Ford Edge and when the tail lights were on the right side would not work. Call down to uhaul where I bought it was told because they didnt install it there was nothing they could do. Tried explaining to them that it had something to do with the plug on the harness they said there is nothing they can do about it. So I started checking wires the ground wires had a bad connection and a white wire that went into the plug came out the wire was just picked in to the plug. The wire was not even stripped to make contact. Will not be getting anything from uhaul again. The plug was $20.00 more if you go in to get it and $20.00 cheaper if you order it online. So basically they take you money and offer no advice even when it was bad wiring on their plug.

This is the best uhaul location that I have ever been to and used. I would recommend this location for all your rental needs.

I come 10 mins before close and thay wont fill my propane tank

We rented the van. They told us we could only have it for 4 hours. And if we didnt return it by the time they stated we would be charged a penalty fee. I was under the impression I was paying for a 24 hour rental. This location tends to make its own rules

At first all sounded good. Rented truck to go from Stockton to San Jose. They took ALL THE DEPOSIT. The manager seemed to think I shouldve calculated mileage but I asked those questions before I rented. Took all my money didnt care that what was explained did not add up. We returned the truck EARLY as well. Ill never rent Uhaul AGAIN.

After loading we sent movers to new house after that truck wont start. Called roadside assistance and they put me hold for 37 minutes so hung up and called this place where I rent the truck and the manager melody? She said they are not responsible and they cant do anything and tell me to just call roadside assistance.. so I called back they never answered for another 52 minutes but good samaritan (thank God) start the car(he said bad battery) so I hung up and went to new location where those movers waited me there for almost 2hours.. We unloaded everything while truck still running.. one of the worst and expensive experience. (had to pay movers for about 5 hours when they actually worked for 2hours) never deal with this place ever!

This morning I went to the Tam O Shanter site to pick up boxes. While I was trying to wrestle the boxes into my car I dropped my wallet. I realized it about halfway home. Upon returning to the store the man behind the counter recognized me from my picture ID. Everything was there, cash, credit cards, etc. It was really comforting to know there are still honest people in this world. Thank You

Rented a truck for our move, they literally cancelled it half an hour before we were due to pick it up. Thanks guys

Constant reminder that I have to be called to pay bill. No emails because they changed it without my knowledge. Dont receive emailed receipts like Im supposed to because he changed my email. Which is beyond me. They say it goes through and doesnt. Never has so many issues with a storage facility like this. Now they say another much is on my unit and they dont know why!! They need to do daily basis check like its in their work duties. Get a call to pay war are in already late because I dont get emails or calls like I requested! This facility needs to get it together. Like most of the staff but its not hard to save someones email and phone number.

If you need your trailer hitch or wheelchair lift installed & wired correctly and reasonably priced. Then go to U-Haul on Tam OShanter. Chris Herron and staff will give 5 Star Service.

Clean units and top notch customer service. Prices are reasonable and having 24 hour access to my unit has been incredibly helpful! Thank you u haul storage!

Turned a rental truck to this center last week. Staff met me, checked out the truck, took 2 mins and I was done. Id bought supplies here few wks ago, staff was polite and quick in doing their jobs. Highly recommend.

Every time charged for extra specially fuel, make sure whenever you rent here check every single thing otherwise they will charge you for what you havent even touch

I have been renting a unit at this storage for almost a year, constant issues with there website when paying for your monthly payment. And when you call to pay over the phone, I constantly get the same response either there systems down or I get put on hold so long that I end up driving over there. Spoke with the manager Chris and he was unapologetic and very unhelpful. Stay Clear from this Place

One lady was very nice wish I continued to go through her but the other lady was very rude unprofessional didnt go through anything about the process of a drop off of whos going to be charging me. I did a drop off in Sacramento and they siphoned the U-Haul almost to empty when we had it at full and they tried to charge us for it and found out the place you drop it off at does the last charge if there is one. They gave me the run around and I had to keep calling because no one gets back to you AH I just went to corporate and thankfully I had a photo showing proof of the time I dropped it off with a full tank so finally got MUST of my refund. -_-

It was fast and easy. Had exactly what I was looking for. No long line. Money took about 4 to 5 days to be placed back on my card

Have rented here many times for local transport of my things while moving . They are always friendly . They also rent Full size pickups. And thet also fill Propane tanks .They have a pay at the pump system so it qiicks and easy .Also havea retail area where they sell boxes anx will by back unused ones if you buy too many .

I rented my uhaul from them in February of 2016 when I was moving. the day before, I called UHaul and spoke with the manager Chris just to make sure that my rental was there in the system. While talking to chris, I asked him of how much do I need in order to pick up my rental and he stated over the phone that if I have $80.00 in the bank, i would be fine. All was on recording via phone conversation. The next day, I went and pick up my rental. I asked Chris again about the payment and he re-stated that if I have $80.00 in the bank, I WILL BE FINE. I process the paper work and put a safety deposit. I used my uhaul rental that day and at 8 p.m., i returned my rental. As my rental was being inspected, theemployee told me that I owe them $160.00. I asked him how come it is so high and he stated that they charge mileage. I told him that Chris informed me prior that if I had $80.00 in the bank I would be fine. The service rep that inspected my vehicle informed me that the employees at this particular UHaul place likes to screw people over and he didnt know why. I ended up paying $160.00 because I was informed that if I didnt pay, I would be sent to collections. I called the coporation and after talking to them about the situation, they apologized and stated that they would talk to the manager Chris and call me back with the end results. 5 MONTHS LATER, IT HAS BEEN QUIET AND NO CALLS AT ALL.
