Gotta admit was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, however I can honestly say this was one of the better retail experiences i have had lately. Wanted to purchase an item from an online retailer but in reviews on that site a lot of reviews were saying Dollar tree had same item for a substantial amount cheaper. So i thought worth the chance to try Dollar Tree. Moment we walked in we were greeted pleasantly. Found the exact item we were looking for and decided to walk around and look around. Was asked if we needed help finding anything. We didnt but because we felt comfortable, we ended up spending more than intended. When we checked out the same lady was very friendly, answered questions, and took time to carry on a conversation. First time wont be our last.
Store always looks disarray. New employees are nice
This location is always a mess. Shelves look like a tornado came through, they are never stocked, boxes all throughout the aisles so you can’t really navigate your buggy, and a lot of the employees are rude. I drive an hour away to the Spencer location because they are a million times better. This store needs better managing.
They are out of almost every item used in crafts. The shelves are bare. First the isles were full of junk. Now isles are clean but nothing to buy except holiday items and some food. Ridiculous situation. If they had items in the store they would be bought. Sad very sad.
Was very poorly treated by Dennis he was sweeping I stepped out of his way after saying sorry and he went out if his way to sweep in the aisle that I had stepped to get out if his way. When he checked me out he was extremely rude I know everythings a dollar but come on get some better workers!
I just had the best experience Ive ever had at a Dollar Tree. The manager, Adelaide, gave us the most amazing customer service. She gave my kids extra special help and kindness and by the end of the shopping time, it felt like we were friends. Shes clearly having a hard time finding good workers but shes trying hard to pick up rhe slack and shes just delightful.
Of course, I love this store! If you ever need something for whatever holiday or lack there of, they have something for every taste. I am always a little more focused towards the office and school supplies, crafts, cleaning supplies, and kitchen and storage.I dont like being bias so with this store, I dont often get to see it very tidy. The management try as they might the fight a losing battle against the few customers that have no manners. Its a shame
Pretty good place to visit, the managers are great, my cashier Alex was very kind, didn’t have Xanax and uranium so only four stars
The science says its open Sunday 10 to 8 But the doors are locked and nobodys there Thanks for always the time This is very unprofessional you should have left a correct note on the door letting hundreds of people who need ed to go here today to buy stuff is it going to be open today
The store is such a mess the shelves are not orgainized and stuff is left is asiles for people to trip over
Nice little store. We always find interesting stuff.
Messy! Even the bathroom was not cleaned, toilet paper rolls all over the bathroom floor. Disorganized!
Store is never completely stocked. And is always a mess.
Okay...just alot of products missing half empty shelfs.
The store is always a mess and never anyone to check you out. And rude employees.
Always good!!
I rather go to spencer then storm lake! There is always stuff on the floors nothing is ever put away nor organize it’s very messy, boxes full of items sitting in the isles makes it very hard to get through as well as items on the floor. Shelf at times are all most empty. I have been through several different dollar tree in towns that I have visited and they are all very nice well kept up and always has enough people checking out customers when it is needed. No long waits for someone to come to check you out or have to wait in a very long line. I feel like the people that works in this store does not care nor do they have pride. Not sure why storm Lake is having problems of keeping it nice and well organized.
Quick stop for a few items, no problems.
The manager here is extremely rude and unhelpful. The cashiers like to talk and hold conversations about every single item youre buying. There is always a line at the register and the manager just stands there and never opens another check out. This place is really ridiculous and its frustrating and disappointing, since Dollar Tree in general is a very convenient place to have around. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and should be able to get in and get out promptly.
The employees have now cleaned up the aisles and reorganized the store. It is now much more pleasant and easier to shop. I hope they keep it that way!!
Some shelves were empty or boxes were in the rows. The lady that cashed me out was super nice. They need to do a better job at cashing out customers.
Numerous times have a I stopped during business hours and the door are locked. I waited and watch 2 other people stop and leave. I called and no one answered. The sign says open, the hours indicate 9am to 9pm, all your lights are on and its 11am????
Great products all for $1.00. There are times posted as open, but the doors were locked.
Filthy, unorganized, boxes everywhere, storeroom overflowing, unhappy employees more than willing to offer their opinion of working for Dollar Tree. It is sad. Ive shopped other locations and they were awesome.
I am Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree in Storm Lake, so, Yeah, I enjoy working there.
I needed toilet paper and i had 5 minutes. There were customers in the store. They told me closed at 855.
Always have what I want, nice staff, quality store.
The manager is very unfriendly and customers are treated like an inconvenience to her if you want to have a bad experience shopping I would definitely go there
What a mess. Trash and goods laying all around, a real total mess of the place.
I would rather drive to the Denison store there you dont have to wait in a long line to pay for your things, because they at least open another line when there are 12 people in line
Dollar Tree is a very nice store all the workers are the best
Clean and well organized, with friendly staff.
All the stuff is so cheap and has pretty good quality
Its not the actual store that bothered me its the picture because it dosent show the actual store
Theres always boxes in the way and those huge blue carts. Tired of having to move those to look behind them.
Aisles were clearer this time
Checker was slow and it was very busy in there and they only had one checker. Waited 20 minutes to checkout.
DIRTY!Half of the items are in the floor...
Very dirty, the bathroom is always nasty too
Big. Wide aisles.
Very friendly cashier!
Not enough checkouts open
Everythings a Dollar
.....
You get what you pay for.
I rate it as excellent good treatment good products and everything a day no need to complain ..
