I called about getting a garage door opener installed and from start to finish was a perfect experience. Had a friendly helpful associate on the phone who quickly set up the appointment for the following day. Technicians came on time and in a couple of hours had my opener installed! They did a quick explanation on all the features of the opener. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I called when my garage door was suddenly stuck shut, they had someone out the same day to fix it. Service was quick, friendly and afforable. A few days later it was stuck shut again and they had someone back out an hour later to show me how to open it (it was not stuck this time, I was just struggling). The tech who showed me how to open my own garage door was super kind and knowledgable and did not charge me for the second service call, which was so incredibly kind of them!

Wife called to have someone look at garage door keypad which was not working. Was advised by office that we were under warranty and someone would be out. When service worker arrived, they looked at it for about 45 seconds, checked the battery and shrugged saying maybe the keypad needed replaced and then went into cost. Mentioned the cost plus a service fee for even coming out. When scheduled, there was no mention of any charge to expect and they had assumed it was covered under warranty. Learned later that we didn’t have a warranty, the office lied and they wanted money. Worker was rude. Then when I called the office a man named Shaun was indignant, rude and condescending. Their product is trash and their customer service is a bait and switch scam with a con artist service manager. Avoid this business like the plague! We wouldn’t have even scheduled the service if we knew they wanted $125 to come out for 45 seconds, be rude and not even know what they’re talking about. I’m disgusted. They said if we didn’t pay they would put us on the “no work” list….well I wouldn’t even let them touch my property again if they offered to pay me! That’s how bad it was. Seriously, stay away from these bait and switch thieves.

I simply needed a part for my old garage door. I went to their shop on Hudson Drive. Their COVID protocol was in place & followed. Jerry rooted around in the back room for a long time. He found the parts I needed for only $20 and I was on my way! He gave me two free refrigerator magnets, too !! Nice people!!

Called Action Door this morning. Had a broken garage door spring. They told me theyd be there around 3. They were done by 3!!! Awesome job, very fair pricing, very neat, clean and polite serviceman. You guys are the best.

Solid company. Second time using them. Wouldnt go elsewhere because Im confident they will do what they say they will. Thats gold in todays day and age!

They are no longer doing emergency calls, at least not in my area. I used them in 2018 and it was a great experience. Now, they are only scheduling service and wouldnt be able to make it for a week.

My garage door had been broken for a year and I called several places. One company told me it would be $2,500 and another company told me $899. Action door said I didnt need a new door just a new spring and coil and quoted me $350. In the end, Action Door only charged $291 and even fixed the door part that was improperly installed in the beginning! I will forever use and suggest Action Door!!!

Outstanding service! I have used Action Door a couple of times now. First, an emergency service call for a broken spring on a door (Action Door arrived within 2 hours - on a Sunday morning!) The second service call was scheduled - to replace the opener. The new opener was installed quickly and all debris cleaned before the installer left. I even got a nice orientation presentation on how everything works! Very pleased.

I have used Action multiple times. Most recently to level an out of level door. Tech leveled door and it was out of level again after a few days. Same tech came back again leveled door, no charge, again it was out of level in few days. Called again requested new tech found out he was no longer with company. Got a very competent tech and he found the end pulleys worn and replaced them for no additional cost from my initial bill! Great service will use them again.

Friendly service. Was able to schedule my repair quickly. Service guys were friendly and fixed my door very quickly. The best part was that I paid half (literally) of what another company in the area quoted me. Highly recommend.

Had a broken garage door spring and our cars were trapped in the garage. They came out by 3pm and back in service by 4pm.

Had a hard break on a very cold Monday morning recently. The coil had snapped and the guy wires pulled out as well. Can’t even lift it manually with this. I was surprised and pleased that they were able to send someone out that very morning to fix it. I’ve used Action door to fix a problem a couple of times and also bought a new opener motor from them too. This is why.

My husband had backed into our garage door and bent it. Needless to say, it was a big pain. We had to lift it manually, and I couldnt shut it. We called different companies to see what could b done. Could it b repaired to save some money? Not according to most of them. We were looking at $1500 to replace. A bit disheartening. Then we called Action Door. They came out and said it could b repaired and within 2 days it was done!!! And for a mere fraction of what others said we would need to pay!! When the time comes to buy a new door, you can bet well b using Action Door!!!

We had an emergency door repair yesterday, and Chris came out to do the repairs. He took added steps to temporarily fix an issue resulting from a bad installation from years ago by another installer that allowed one roller to actually slip right out of the bottom of the track. Chris was on time, professional, and had a can-do spirit that reminded me of my fellow Marines. He even gave us a military discount, and verbally expressed his gratitude for my military service!Keep up the excellent work, Chris, and Action Door in Stow, Ohio.

Tech was very nice. But, I have to rate the company lower for non-disclosure. They charge a minimum of 1 hour for labor ($70) in addition to a $50 service call. Sorry folks, profit isnt a dirty word, but thats horrendous! Tech was at my home for 20 minutes. $157 bill to replace a $32 part!

Absolutely ridiculous price for 2 new springs and lubed hinges and rollers- $368.91. I will not use this company again. And for those who think they got a good deal....you may want to think again. I only gave them 1 star because I couldnt give them a 0.

Called at 6pm about a broken spring on our garage door. Since it was not an emergency they called back the next morning and told us someone could be out that morning and they would call when they were on the way. They called at 11 and the tech showed up at 11:40. We had both springs replaced ant it took a little more then an hour. The bill was reasonable and the door works better then ever.

I wasnt going to leave a bad review for this company because I will say, their phone reps are nice and prompt and they do fix issues. But. I want other people to know that maybe they should choose a different company.We had a salesman come out and we purchased a new garage door and track (everything but the motor, which had previously been replaced on our old 1960s garage) in September 2018. I bought the one he suggested, a basic uninsulated model for our detached garage. He told me they would give me a call in a day or two to schedule installation. They never called after several days, so I called them and scheduled installation (for 6 weeks out; I wish the salesman had told me they were so backed up because I wouldnt have gone with them).Several more days pass and I notice no payment had been taken out of my bank account. I called them back the following week, and they tell me, oh, the salesman wrote down the wrong credit card number so we couldnt process your payment/order your door. I have no idea why they didnt call me. So I gave them the correct number.Then they ended up rescheduling my installation because their install guy was out for a funeral. We finally get the door installed in November 2018.Now on 02/01/19, the door caught while closing and buckled in the middle. I called them and they did, to their credit, send out a technician within a couple of hours. He fixed the door and told me it had frozen and that was the issue. I asked him about the buckling in the middle, and he literally told me you get what you paid for and that I bought a cheap door. I bought the $1,200 one that was recommended to us by THEIR salesman! He also told me doors like the one I bought are flimsy like pop cans and they buckle in the center. WHAT!?!? Also that I should have gotten a new motor and opener (their salesman told me that wasnt necessary) and I could have gotten a door that wouldnt have had those issues for just $200 - $400 more and it would have been the difference between a Saturn and a Mercedes.So frustrated. Will never go back to this company, and Im truly hoping we have no more issues so I wont have to.

I have been going to Action door in Stow for many years,Called them this morning,They were very nice as usual and will be out this afternoon,There customer service is excellent.I would never go to any other place,Thank you for being promt and understanding my issue

Came out the same morning I called for service. Had the door fixed by 11:30 for what I considered to be a reasonable price. Would definitely use them again in the future if/when the need arises.

They were friendly and helpful. I was able to get the part that I needed for the key lock for a good price.

It never fails that repairs are needed only on the weekends, so when I woke up on a Saturday morning to find that our garage door spring was broken and that our cars were more or less trapped, I wasnt surprised. I called a few places that had emergency service but their Saturday charges were astronomical. Action Door was also on my list to call - their quoted price on the spring was almost $100 less than the other vendors and they were able to come to our home within 90 minutes of my call. Our technician also adjusted the seal around our garage and replaced some brackets that he thought looked week - at no additional charge. I will definitely call Action Door again.

I called action door tonight because my garage door stopped working. I was afraid of being robbed overnight so I called the on call mumber. Nearly 300 dollars for on call services. The tech talked me through my problem and helped me fix it over the phone!! No money exchanged. So thankful!!!

I was very pleased with our service. The spring broke and they came out to replace it right away--and even gave us tips on how to fix up the garage door. Hands down, I will be using this service again. Friendly staff, quick response, reasonable prices.

This is another bad company for me. I called this place on several occasions already in the past 10 years and each and every time it is always a bad experience already. I dont hire this company due to the fact that customer service alone is horrible. They dont return calls and is never pleasant to talk to their sales people. HORRIBLE! I called them couple of months ago to get a quote and it took them a week and a half only to tell me they are not going to do the work...WOW! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE AND I AM DONE CALLING THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING.

I called them for service and explained that it was an older door that needed a spring replaced. They sounded confident they could fix it that day. Then the tech shows up and in under 5 minutes says we need to order those springs special. Oh by the way that will be $80 for a service call. No mention of this when I talked to them on the phone trying to explain and make sure I wasnt wasting their time and mine. Very disappointed. Just another big company that has awful service. They did offer to apply the $80 to a new door. I guess one way to coerce you into buying from them.
