This place is a really nice deli. The food there is good and the people there are very nice. I have been going to this place since I was a child.

I have lived in Lordship since I was a little girl, and The Lighthouse Deli used to be called The Penguin. Back then, it seemed to be a better place, full of Customers, especially when it came to their Deli Area which offered Fresh Made Macaroni, Potato Salad and the likes, along with Boars Head Deli Meats and Specialty Sandwiches. I believe they even offered Breakfast!! This was back when I would walk there everyday with my best friend after my School Bus dropped us off home from High School and we would buy Cigarettes for $3.00 & change! Theyd have a Big Barrel full of different Packs for Sale! Every morning they had Freshly made Green Mountain Coffee Dispensers to choose at your liking, along with Fresh Pastries and Muffins. Currently, I do see the Green Mountain Coffee Dispensers where they always were, so I assume that is still a Morning Option. I also saw Fresh Pastries later in the Day when I went in to purchase Scratch off Tickets one day, so, whos to say? The few people that work there are very nice. In regards to their Lottery, if you want to Cash in a Scratch-off Ticket Winner, 95% of the time, they do not have enough money in the Cash Drawer to pay out, unless the Boss is there. Lets put it this way, unless I have a very low Cash Winner, or, I want to trade my Winnings for other Tickets, I go somewhere else if I have big Winnings. They also dont have a wide variety of choices. As for Cigarettes, they usually dont have my Brand that I smoke, and theyre very expensive. Ive also noticed that it seems like the Deli Area is a Ghost Town, its a shame. Now mind you, I havent walked in during Lunch Hour, so maybe Im wrong. They have some Bags of Chips and some other small items, as well as Beer in the back. Youre going to spend more money, but it is a convenience. One time we lost power in my area of Lordship on a very hot day and they did have power and we were able to get some nice ice cold beer that hit the spot despite the price! They probably should have renamed it something else because to call it Lighthouse Deli when it seems like their Deli has practically no customers, it should have just been named something else. I take FULL ACCOUNTABILITY if any of you decide to walk into The Lighthouse Deli around noontime or 1:00pm and go over to their Deli Counter and see if they have ANYTHING to offer. If I am wrong, then I GREATLY apologize, but if I am right, then it is upsetting, but, luckily, there is Lordship Pizza which is now owned by Vazzys right next door where you could get something else. But, as the saying goes, things in this world are NOT the way they used to be years ago.

They are convenient. Thats why I put stars..but they are over priced. I went in today..bought a small coffee and OJ and egg and cheese sandwich and was charged $8.The week prior i bought 4 croissants one bagel and 2 ojs and it was $18. SmhThey only have fresh bagels muffins and croissantson Sundays.They are open around 6am. Thats cool. They have an atm inside. Small grocery items and toiletries market up 4 times regular price

Its a nice little corner store, in a nice little town. Good food, fair prices, nice folks.

The pizza slices are like a quarter of the pizza great place related to the Vazzys restaurant the Saturday porchetta and roast beef sandwiches are absolutely wonderful I go just about every Saturday. You should definitely give it a try

The food is terrible,the guy with the hat is always on the phone and does not pay attention to his customers at all. I cant imagine how many people steal from there.
