I just bought a new car from Bill Bradley. I love the Honda Barn. I would never go any place else. Bill was very attentive and informative. It was like talking to a family member. We went to 7 dealerships total on our quest to find the perfect car. Eddie was by far the best salesman, he knows his stuff, but also lets you do your thing and is not trying to force a sale on you. DON’T GO THERE!!! I went there for a safety recall fix(no cost). They are not nice people. They refused to loan my a loaner car. Not even if I want to book one. (I have my insurance and CDL driver’s license )They are so rude on the phone, and always tell you they can just close your case and kick you out.The last experience I have at Honda Dover was much nicer, people are nicer and just loaned me one with no question asked.
Chris Boylan greeted me when I arrived at the Honda Barn, introduced himself and asked how he could help me. I explained I wanted to look at a Honda Accord Hybrid. I explained the features I wanted and Chris explained that Honda doesn’t add features as options. I wanted heated seats which are included with the EX model and all EX models have the same features.I took a test drive of an EX model after Chris explained some of the features of the hybrid. I asked several questions after the test drive and all were answered and then I left to think it over.I asked if a white Accord Hybrid was available and told me one could be transferred from another dealership. I agreed and we started the paperwork.The loan paperwork was efficiently processed and then Chris took me to my new car and we reviewed all the features the car has. We even linked my cellphone to the car. It was an excellent review of the high tech features and Chris offered his assistance later if I had any questions come up. It was a great car buying experience.
Dear Honda Barn, if I could post a no star I would, I sent my 22 year old daughter to drop off my 2020 Accord for a recall that you called me for. The appt was at 10 for a 45 min BCM update. She came back an hour later and the car was still where she parked it! She asked about the delay and they told her rudely they were running behind. She had somewhere to be, but decided to delay plans so she could take care of it for me not knowing how long ago I booked the appointment and asked if it was going in soon. It didnt go in for another 20 minutes. Reminder! She was doing me a favor! Then after the car was done she followed the car out to the spot and the tech told her she would have to walk back inside to receive the keys. Sad display of service. Next time DO NOT call me about getting a recall completed!

Just had a horrific experience with their service department. It truly pains me to have to write a negative review but I would hate for anyone to have to go though what happened to me. I had a scheduled service appointment at 8:30, easily dropped off my car, and was told the work would take around an hour. Well, when 12:30 rolls around and I still havent heard from them I call down and was informed that they were short staffed, backed up, and that my car had just been brought in to start the job. Fair enough, those things happen. However, After about an hour I decided to go ahead and get dropped off since the work was supposed to last about an hour, yet to my dismay, there sat my car in the same spot that I had left it that morning. I went in and asked the service department what was going on I was told they were backed up and not able to get to it. I said just give me my keys back and I would go somewhere else. Once I got my keys back, with no apology, I get in the car only to find it reeks of cigarettes. Needless to say, I will not be going back to Honda Barn for service or a new car purchase. With so many negative reviews, you should consider carefully where you are getting your service work done and maybe go somewhere else.
Just bought a fantastic used CRV from Honda Barn. Bill Bradley was our salesperson, and he was the BEST. He helped us out with an initial FaceTime tour of the car before we drove down, and he was super helpful, attentive, no-pressure, friendly, professional, and very easy to work with. Would highly recommend. This is our second vehicle from Honda Barn, and we have enjoyed every step of the process. In the past 6 months I have had my car serviced twice at the Honda Barn and the service was great. Once for my breaks and once for routine maintenance. Booking the appointment was a convenient and easy process, I was able to get everything done I needed to. While my car was being serviced I was kept up to date as needed and I really appreciate the complementary multipoint inspection that was done. I was able to see what needed attention in the coming months and what was in great shape. I like a visual to be able to take home for me records. I plan to keep going back to them!
I spoke with Shawn Cass at the Honda Barn on the phone in the morning making sure I was able to come in. I told him what my situation was and what I was looking for. He was ready for me that day and when I arrived he had cars ready. I test drove two cars, and then wanted to test drive the first one again. We negotiated the same terms of prior lease and for a much lower cost.I walked out that day with a new 2021 Civic Sport at lower price than my last lease, which is why I was there in the first place. The bang for your buck in a Honda is awesome. I love this car, and coming from a WRX the sport 2.0 still gives you some power in sport mode. Shawn was great!

Dont get me wrong, the customer service at Honda Barn is wonderful. However, its like they didnt even train their mechanics. I brought in my car to get a recall fixed, my oil changed, and my tires rotated. About a week after, my check engine amongst other lights are all on. AND my android auto stopped working which meant no wireless call or GPS, really not happy. This was bad especially considering that the main selling point was the safety features of hands-off. I bring my car back to the shop and tell them whats going on, after waiting an hour and a half they tell me that they replaced my fuel cap with a BROKEN seal. Youd think they wouldve noticed that while replacing it! After he told me that itd take about an hour, he comes back 30 minutes later telling me that there are MORE things wrong with my car. Here I am 4 and a half hours later, waiting for them to call and tell me whether Ill have a car to use or not. Would not recommend the auto shop considering it seems like they do not know how to do their job. Would recommend going to a different Honda for service, I know I will next time!!!

Honda Barn has been good to my family over the years. Theyve always been good at working with us. Our most recent experience was buying my wife her dream vehicle - the Honda Pilot. We worked with Sales rep Bill Bradley and we couldnt have been more satisfied with the results. We were able to successfully negotiate a fair trade in as well as sale price, and the process was very smooth. Bill was always very attentive to our needs as well as making sure everything went well and smoothly. Xan Peterson from finance was also great, one of the smoother closings weve had. I brought my Odyssey in for a minor recall and also asked about a problem with my driver side mirror not holding its position. My original dealership had been unable to solve this problem and uninterested in delving further. John in your Service Dept was outstanding! He listened carefully to understand the problem, and when Service could find nothing, he asked Bill, an experienced Salesperson, about it. Bill was able to find a simple setting error that solved the problem. Both men were wonderful to work with and very professional. I commend John especially for going out of his way to find a solution. Now that’s service! Needless to say, Honda Barn is my new dealership.
Went in for a scheduled service. They were very helpful without being overly salesy. They explained what they were doing and did it quickly. They came out to explain what was happening about midway through and didn’t try to add unnecessary things to up sell me. They were obviously busy and yet took the time to go over the details of what they did as it was my first time there with the kind of service I needed.
We started looking for cars using the honda barns web site. The particular model and trim were easy to find, and explanation of options warrantee and build out easy to see. We could also calculate an estimate based on trade in credit score and down payment. Scheduling an appointment was easy to do via the web site too. Once submitted we received a friendly call to confirm the time and vehicle for a test drive. Couldnt have been easier. The day of the test drive we were greeted at the door by the sales person, and were introduced to the person that confirmed our appointment. The sales process was no hassel, no up selling, no pressure. All in all a smooth transaction. The finance person walked us through the process of not only our loan warantees and any extras if we wanted them, but also haled us with the registration process for Massachusetts. Ill definitely continue to use Honda Barn for future purchases and service.

Was a little nervous about going back to service regarding my girlfriends experience in previous years. When we brought her vehicle in to Honda Barn there was a gentleman named Greg who was so helpful, respectful, professional and a great listener. We did not have an appointment, but took care of us so efficiently and quickly. You could see the mechanics respect this man and we recieved such unbelievable treatment about our issues with her vehicle. What a pleasant surprise to see Honda Barn finally has some caring and quality people working there finally. We were back on the road in a few hours and now will be a regular service customer once again because of the 5 star treatment he and his staff showed us. He also gave us his direct phone number and extension if we had any other pressing issues with her vehicle. Such a breathe of fresh air to see someone who legitimately cared about our well being. His mechanics were happy to be of service, it was so obvious they had enjoyed how he did his job. Great job Honda Barn, so pleased about our experience.William
When I brought my vehicle in for repairs (it was losing coolant) my first words were, Make sure its not a head gasket!. When I received a call back, they stated that they checked the vehicle out and it needed a radiator (as well as a few other small things not related to the leak). I said, Great! As long as that fixes the problem, lets do it!. These are Honda technicians, right!?! New radiator put in (at a price tag of $1,200!!). Fast forward a few weeks and... Im out of coolant...again! I bring the vehicle back in. They keep it for three days and eventually they tell me.... it probably needs a head gasket (what!?!?!) and isnt worth fixing. To make things worse, they actually ended up blaming me for using stop leak to initially fix the problem!! Epic service failure!!I requested to speak to the manager. No call back, no resolution.Buyer beware!

Sold me a lemon of a vehicle said the brakes were good and everything was all set guy promised me the car would be good and I wouldn’t have anything to worry about for a long time and yet to find out have to put brakes on the car called them and they said they would call me am back about helping me out with getting new ones and never called or anything and the sun roof makes awful sounds 10/10 would never come back to this hell hole
I went to Honda Barn for the first time just for an oil change and tire rotation. I work second shift and sometimes it makes appointments like this a little challenging, but they were very accommodating. I was able to drop my car off in the afternoon and pick it up after hours. Harry, my rep, was able to text me the information when it was done since I was at work and unable to receive a phone call. They went over everything with their detailed report, almost like a preliminary inspection, which was nice to know how my brakes and tires were. Quick and easy, polite service, very accommodating, will be going back.

I dropped my civic for an oil change and winter tires, when I picked it up they had dented my drivers door. They said 2 things to me, 1.) they had nothing in the shop that was that height that would make the dent and 2.) they wouldnt fix it. This after a 30 year relationship, buying ten cars and recommending countless people who also purchased cars. HONDA NORTH +/or DOVER HONDA are looking very good to me.

I want to do business with Honda Barn in their Service Department but each time my fiancee would bring it in the service counter people were rude, disrespectful and didnt focus on her issues she was there for. Shes bought two vehicles there, but service, please hire a qualified, quality service person who listens well and cares about the customers concerns. We will be back in service in a few weeks, hopefully things have changed in service.
In all our years of buying cars, we have never dealt with a salesman as personable and fun to talk to as John Singleton. His knowledge of cars in general is outstanding, his communication skills are even better. The total experience was more like talking to an old friend than a car salesman. We cant speak for the other sales reps at Honda Barn, but if they are even a shadow of Johns style, then you cant go wrong. Give Honda Barn a chance, you wont be disappointed!
Honda Barn is a difficult business to review. On the upside, I was extremely satisfied upon purchasing my vehicle and the parts department is spectacular. The parts department is why I keep coming back.However, the major downfall is the service department. Over the many years of dealing with Honda Barn, I have brought my vehicle in 3 times for service as I needed an expert opinion. Each time, they failed to diagnose the issue and performed unnecessary work. I did receive a complimentary point inspection but this practice raises doubts. Had they focused more on the reported problem and less on the free point inspection, would my problems been resolved on the first attempts? Looking at this department, theyre more focused on their bottom line than customer satisfaction. The service department is a shining example of how to alienate loyal customers by putting profits above everything else.With all this said, I still visit regularly for parts but will never use the service department again due to cost and incompetence. Service has turned me off so much that I warn possible customers to buy but take their purchases elsewhere for maintenance.
Awesome awesome service. Friendly, kind, polite, knowledgeable staff. With a great sense of humor. Not many sales guys around but then again I wasnt buying a car. I was over at service. If you shave a Honda I would definitely recommend these guys at the dealership. The prices are the prices...I thought it was reasonable. They are very straightforward with the price and break down all the services, parts and the bottom line of what you need for your vehicle. They are also fast and so far my Honda is still working so I would say they are not only fast but great at fixing Hondas.
Good overall experience. Very friendly and accommodating. Would have a 5 Star Review but really nailed me on inspection costs. The $49 is fine but to pass I had to replace (marginal) wipers. They were ready to go so no shenanigans. But it was then nearly $50 for standard wiper blades. Rubs me the wrong way as blades are cheap. So buyer beware. DIY. But the quality of work and service was excellent. They did what they said they would do. I’ll go back when I need dealer service. They did a 100000 mile service (timing belt and plugs) which is an important and costly service. It’s good to know there’s a local dealer that is good to work with.
The salesman (Tim) went the extra mile to obtain the exact vehicle I wanted. The pricing was excellent for this 2017 Accord Coupe Touring Edition. All the additional options I added were installed quickly and correctly. Dealership is clean and comfortable. An all around excellent experience in buying a new car from first test ride to picking it up.
Walked in to browse cars and make a purchase, was glared at by each person in the office and promptly walked out. To be made uncomfortable within 30 seconds and not offered any greeting or assistance totally turned me off to the idea of giving them thousands of my hard earned dollars.
I went shopping for a vehicle here. The sales staff was cold when I told them that I had a budget in mind and that I knew what I was comfortable with sending. I’m sure they have a good service team and related. I was just turned off by the lack of interest in my buying a vehicle for less than $30k.
Everyone at this dealership from the management on down is dedicated toward ensuring the customer has a quality experience. My car was cleaner when I picked up than when I left it off. The next day after receiving my car, it was time to do the monthly tire pressure check. To my surprise and satisfaction even with the significant drop in temperature the tire pressure was right on. This indicates to me that someone at the Honda Barn to the time to ensure my experience was exceptional and adjusted the tire pressure. Yes it is a small thing, but with my car being returned freshly washed and tire pressure adjusted it indicates to me that the Honda Barn team is committed to excellence.
Bill Bradley was helpful in reviewing my options as my lease was expiring. Ultimately decided on a new lease and am pleased with that decision. Dont bother shopping around. Just go straight to Honda Barn. Ask for Bill.
Upon entering the dealership, I was promptly greeted by Eileen, who made me feel at ease and welcome. She was very helpful in tracking down the car that I was interested in and took me on a very informative test drive. I wasnt even sure if I was going to make a purchase, but with her help along with the friendly sales manager Bob and the finance manager Sean, I am now loving my brand new Civc and couldnt be happier!

Went to just look at what they had and what they were all about. Professional, friendly and treated us right, best time buying! We went to a larger dealership and never dealt with the same person, either too busy or wasnt there even though was given a name that would help us out but it didnt happen to often to have the one that was suppose to help us. Got the feeling that they were helping their friends first and not the customer off the street that was looking. That is why we went to the Honda Barn and to learn they will give 10% off anytime we went to them for service, as long as we bought a vehicle from them - they are totally great and easy to work with.
Eileen and the team at Honda Barn were amazing! I had just come from a dealership that had sold the car I had a hold on and was feeling taken advantage of and off-put by the whole car buying process. Brought my 2006 Pilot in for passenger air bag recall, and to diagnose no heat situation. The air bag replacement takes an hour to do according to Honda. They replaced air bag, but said they needed an extra day for master technician to determine no heat problem. Day 2, no progress - said it was electrical? - So after 2 days I picked it up with no resolution to my no heat problem. After telling my mechanic the situation (antifreeze good, heater core good, thermostat good) he told me to try tightening the phillips head screw on the valve control cable in the engine compartment near the firewall. I tightened it, and now I have heat! 2 minute DIY fix..... The professionals/master technicians at Honda Barn either dont know how to fix Hondas, or for 2 days never even looked at my heat problem. Not sure which is worse? - I would not feel confident bringing my vehicle into this dealership ...even if its just to tighten a loose screw!
Once again, just a few months after winning our first-time business, Sarah Lessard won the day and the heart of our single Mom teacher-daughter purchasing her new Honda. This young saleswoman is uniquely genuine with her soft and sensitive sell. She listened very carefully to understand our daughters needs and limited resources, then dedicated herself to a perfect fit without pressure or judgment. Sarah was challenged to find the model requested and crunched numbers effortlessly to make it work for our deserving daughter who had just come from another area Honda dealer where she had been badly patronized and rudely treated by a salesman. For us, the Honda Barn is certainly as highly rated as the vehicles they sell. So happy we found them....and their Special Sarah.

Overall, my experience at the dealership was fantastic. I experienced extraordinary customer service, I didnt feel pressured into anything, people worked with me to figure out the best car for me based on my needs, and multiple actions were taken by employees to help find the best deal financially. I definitely recommend buying a car from this dealership.The one hiccup I experienced is that my brand new car is having some sort of problem with the GPS that is preventing me from using the audio interface. Other than that, the car is exactly what I was looking for, but the issue is annoying to have on a brand new car. Im heading back to the dealership tomorrow (two days after I bought the car), and Im sure it will be handled.
Extremely clean and well organized garage area. Sales team is extremely knowledgeable about every car they have on the lot. I got the impression that they actually like the cars that they are selling. Absolute no pressure on the sale. I actually felt like they confirmed and perfected my research. To buy the car there felt more like a logical solution then a psychological manipulation. The sales team appreciates customers going to there place. Also everybody looks at you and gives you a friendly hello but that might be just cause it’s New Hampshire and not Massachusetts.The finance people actually tried everything to keep the leasing procedure transparent. I actually understood the numbers this time. I also think that this has been a Honda Philosophie for a long time and i am glad I found my way back to them.Accord midsize car with 260 hp and manual transmission! What a treat. What a rocket! So much fun to drive.
These guys are all about Honesty, Integrity and Reliability. The car I bought did develop an issue, but they bent over backwards to make it right. I cant express enough how happy I am with my experience there.

Great place. Ive only been there twice, for recalls/minor repairs on my vehicle. Friendly staff, got me in and out quickly. Comfortable waiting room.
I asked their service to calibrate my tire pressure sensors after getting new wheels put on elsewhere. They charged me their regular hourly rate and told me it was all set. Unfortunately my TPMS light came back on shortly after. I was very annoyed at this point and took my car back the next day. Apparently they were unable to calibrate it the first time but did not tell me this. Kevin from service apologized and told me they couldnt do it the first time due to technical limitations, and acknowledged I should have known this. He reached out to a local tire shop and arranged for them to calibrate the sensors free of charge. Thanks to Kevin for acknowledging the mishap and making it right. Way to turn a 1-star experience into a 5-star.
Had immediate service right from the moment I walked in the door, every need I had was catered to. I was able to find a much newer, nicer car in the price range I had originally planned on thanks to Makenzi. I walked out with a new car and couldnt be happier with it.
John Singleton is a pleasure to work with! He assisted my mother last week as she was in the market for a CR-V. Good luck with this dealer, two car purchase both qualified for Honda corp advertised promotional interest rate. During the negotiation they at one point said they would only give the interest rate we qualified on one car if we paid a certain price on the other. This is considered scummy even by car dealer standards. They charged $500 per car to arrange this financing so they were getting paid... They also use the 4 square sheet to negotiate which is intended to confuse the customer so go prepared.Never again.
I received a Honda Safety Recall info and came into the dealership this morning to either have it fixed or to provide a temporary loaner. They saw that I lived in Kittery, ME and told me that I was out of their market area. I called Honda of America and spoke with them and the customer service rep told me as part of this campaign I can go to ANY dealership. Dover is slightly closer to our home, but my PREGNANT wife driving the car with the potentially EXPLOSIVE AIRBAG travels that way to and and from work making it an easier stop. Always had good luck with their parts department, but I will never return and will share that with anyone else I know.
We are long time Honda owners and leasers. While we love the product, we have had less than stellar sales and service experiences at Dover Honda and Honda North on multiple occasions. Not the case at Honda Barn I am happy to say! Bill Bradley was up front, honest, accommodating and overall like no other car salesperson we have dealt with. THANKS!

I came to Honda Barn to buy my first car (new Honda Fit). Our sales representative was Bill. He was very welcoming and friendly from the start. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help us understand our car and feel comfortable. I really felt like he wanted what was best for us and not to simply sell us something. There was no pressure to make a sale. Other dealerships we looked at were all about selling us something and really tried to convince us we were making a mistake if we did not go with them. Honda Barn simply wants what is best for you and will work with you to get it. My recommendation if you are looking for a Honda look no further then Honda barn of Stratham!

Took my car in near the end of a vacation for service because the brakes felt really odd. Service was friendly, quick and explained all repairs in an easy to understand manner. Actually were the first service place in 4 years to give me a price & wait time for fixing my stereo (FM mysteriously stopped working but occasionally comes back for a few minutes every few years if you have it on long enough). Unfortunately we didnt have time to fix it this time around. Also, poked around the showroom. Sales staff was friendly & knowledgable and not too pushy.
I had a great experience at The Honda Barn in Stratham, NH. It was my first time buying a new car. I had done some research online and found a car I liked on their website. Bill Bradley ended up calling me and we set up an appointment. He was very friendly and courteous and worked with me to get the price I wanted. I came in and told him exactly what I had to put down and what I wanted to pay and he worked with me to make sure that happened. The other managers I encountered were also very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a new car.
I checked out their website and saw a car within my budget. When I arrived I met Makenzi. She greeted me and became my sales person. She is a great representative of Honda Barn. I took the car for a test drive. This was the second dealership I met with. Makenzi was very helpful with exploring my options for financing and very patient with me while I made my decision (which took a couple of weeks). I shopped at my bank and the dealership for financing. The dealership was comparable and I decided to go through Honda Barn for my financing. They were very pleasant to work with. And I love my new vehicle and feel confident that I got a great deal.
Expecting to waste another day in a dealership spinning my wheels I took a trip over to Honda Barn. Bill let the car do the talking on the test drive and played no games in the negotiation.
