Shipped out $1500 worth of electronics equipment with them last week. I brought the items in, and UPS did the packing on the shipment. Figured that was the safer route since they should know what they are doing being a shipping company and all. Customer called me to advise that the shipment was damaged beyond repair and a claim would need to be filed. I purchased insurance so no biggie right? not the case. I went back to the store to file the claim since they are the ones who need to do it.....I walked in on Friday, and was told that I need to come back Monday morning to speak to the manager (Kris). ok fine, so I went back Monday morning and the manager advised me that I did not purchase any insurance. I asked her what the additional handling charge of $38.55 on my receipt was for then if i didnt purchase insurance. Her words were its a new system and I think that is the extra weight of the shipment that your being billed on. So she didnt know either it sounded like. She was unable to give me an exact breakdown of what those charges were and it didnt even cross her mind that maybe there was a mistake made when entering the shipment into the system. The receipt also shows that they didnt even do the packing and that I must have done it which was also wrong. I asked the lady to speak to the kid who rang me up and packed my shipment, she said hes not going to remember everyone that walks in here but ill talk to him and insisted on starting the default claim that only covers 100 dollars. The only claim Im filing is going to be for the amount that i lost, which is $1500.I shipped out 2 different shipments that day, both by 2 different people who rang me up (pics posted below) both packed by UPS. I didnt notice it at the time, but the first shipment shows the insurance on the item and is correctly entered. Notice there is no additional handling on the one done correctly. instead, its posted under service options. The second receipt shows the shipment charge plus the additional handling charge of $38.55. Clearly, theres an issue if one says it and the other one doesnt. What is this additional handling charge if its not insurance? I never received an explanation for that. Not only do i feel cheated, i feel that the manager could have done a better job in assisting towards a resolution instead of making me feel belittled. I will be filing a BBB complaint on this issue to have them look into it, since the manager at UPS wouldnt properly address my concerns.

We have been going to this UPS store for years. I have UPS set up for work but because of the personal connection that Tony and his team make we stop and do all our ups here. This store is amazing at connections, getting our order accurate, listening and understanding the needs of his customers, and much much more. Highly recommend the store from any other.

Tony is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! His team is also extremely helpful. I used Tonys UPS location when my father (who is a Veteran) fell ill late last year. Tony always greeted me with a smile (which made my day in a difficult time) and was very helpful. On one of my many visits I needed to copy & forward 57 + pages by fax to the VA hospital and he honored my father in extending him veteran pricing. I regularly saw Tony at his store and his employees always seemed happy and helpful. It is clear he takes great pride in his business and makes an active effort trying to positively engage with his clients. He is not a transaction person...rather he tries to connect and bring a smile to each of his customers faces before they leave his store. Thank you Tony.

I have been a customer here for about 10 years and there is no other UPS store I would visit. I recently moved 40 minutes away from this store, but I still take the time to visit here. Tony, the manager and his staff are that good, that nice, that gracious, that organized, and they keep the store in wonderful shape, always making improvements. Highly, highly recommend!!!

My main store. The staff and manager are great and always helpful. Shipped some crazy stuff from here and their packing and shipping options are above the rest. Would be great if they got a 3D printer as some of the other UPS stores have this service. Always leave extra time as they do get very busy.

First let me tell you the reviews that have lower ratings reflect the experiences with the old owners.The new owner, Tony has this location running like you wish ever store would. He is an honest fair-minded man that has integrity. Hard to find these days.The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and eager to help you. They are so friendly I always leave with a smile on my face. They recognize return customers and seem to learn their names.I love that this store does more than UPS sending. They have paper recycling, printing, scanning, mailboxes, sell stamps, offer notary and so much more.When you leave this location not only are you smiling from having a pleasant visit, but feel confident your package will be handled with the utmost care.I cannot say enough good things about this place.

It was a Sunday at 3:45pm and I had to make a return for an Amazon package that my girlfriend didnt need. This store closes at 4:30, I was coming from Lombard. I called the store just to double check their hours before I made the drive .The lady on the phone promised to stay open if I didnt make it in time. Fortunately I did make it there by 4:15ish. When I arrived, she was wonderfully kind and helpful. Highly recommend this store! Very happy with their service!

I am giving this store the lowest score ever. I actually do not even want to give them any star. They suck on Customer service. I made an appointment for Notary 2x and nobody even dared to call me to confirm. The day of the appointment they said the Notary was out of town. They claim that Notary is by appointment on weekends so I made an appointment way in advance for a weekend. But it doesnt work like that. I spoke to Alex H. and he is a liar! He didnt follow thru to confirm the appointment on the day he said he would and in fact he was not even scheduled to work that day. Such BS with their Customer Service!

Brought item in to return to Amazon - on Amazons site it specifically says that you can return item FOR FREE and that UPS will package and return the item. That isnt the case at this location apparently because when I came in the gentleman behind the counter advised me that I had to purchase a box from them. Even though the item was already in a box and only 5inches by 3 inches max. Very light and less than 30$ in value. So instead of putting it on a padded envelope they said I either had to go all the way back to my house and get a box or I could buy one from them. Guess they like gouging their customers and not following Amazon or UPS policy. I will never return to this location for any reason.

Evelyn greeted me with and a smile and hello she also made this experience very painless for me. I was shipping out a very old, fragile picture that has been in my family for years and was worried about damage happening to it. She reassured me she would pack it so nothing would happen to it. I can be very picky in situations like this so I asked her how it would be packed and what cushioning they used. She answered all my questions in the kindest manner. My picture arrived in one piece and I cant express enough how well it was packed not a single spot of damage was done to my picture. Thank you again Evelyn for your professionalism and being so kind and courteous! I will be back with more things to ship.

My first time and only time in this place. I have business account and I frequently send packages via UPS that add up to over $1000 monthly. I came in to this location and asked the lady if she could print me shipping label as I was in rush and could not do it. Now normally every ups store I go to they print SHIPPING LABEL for free with no issues but at this location the women said sure and no sooner than after printing and placing it on package she says oh and that is going to be $2.50 but we give you discount so its only $1. I told her that this is first time I heard of this and that she should say that before printing but she rudely replied that every UPS store is different and that they own this one and these are their rules. Well the dollar is no big deal but with this kind of attitude you can kiss my business goodbye . I will not cry if they get their license revoked, and have to close. I would not give this place a single star but that is not the option.

I needed a notary so I stopped in one time to ask if they offer it. I was told yes and that I could come in at 8 a.m. to get it done. So it happened that I needed a witness so I got a friend to meet me there at 8 a.m.. The guy looked really pissed off that I was inconveniencing him with such a question as do you have a notary. Then he just said 1p.m. and looked at me. Honestly, it wasnt that fact that they screwed up and told me that it was 8 a.m. it was the fact that that the guy working there was pissed off and annoyed at me, who was willing to give him $ for notary services. I wont be back.

They are terrible at packing and when there is damage from their poor packing they fight you for months to avoid any pay out. I would recommend their competition before going back there. By the way, I am still fighting them and Im in the seventh month!

Lets just put this at the forefront: is this the worst ups store in the States? Very likely! Woah! So before you walk into the store and confront their indifferent staffs and ultra-confident owner Tony, read everything below(or just walk away and try FEDEX)(thank me later):Roll back to 4/28, I spent $200 shipping a 8lbs package to overseas cuz they recommended me using DHL. Owner Tony said, with full confidence that DHL was trackable when it gets overseas blah blah blah. Woah, that sounds great!So my family back home waited all the way till 5/20, received nothing. Took me two visits to get Tony to contact me, saying hes gonna figure out whos at fault first before compensating my lost. Turned out my package went missing after 4/30 and its very likely still in the States, WOAH amazing isnt it!Week later, no Tonys phone call. Called the store, a female manager answered and she sounded like she couldnt be any more indifferent to my case; said Tonys out-of-town, wont be back in a week, and the time he gets back to the store [VARIES], WOAH!Now, were at 6/8 and guess what, still no Tony. WOAH!WORST STORE IN THE US? OF COURSE :)))

Completely unacceptable service. I came in today to pick up my $500 damaged package. Earlier I received a phone call from them saying my package had arrived but my claim denied. Anyones $500 package that is damaged with a denied claim would obviously be very upset and disappointed. As I entered the store I was approached by Adriana the manager at the time and she gave me my package in horrible condition. Behind her was Nate. Let meTell you about Nate. As I was taking pictures of the obliterated box Nate was gave very dirty looks and smirks. When I was ready to leave after gathering evidence I asked for one of them to open the door for me since it was quite a large and heavy package. Nate then rolls his eyes at me and doesnt step up to open the door. Adriana was nice enough to open the door for me. This is completely unacceptable and ridiculous service. The whole time Nate was rude and dissrespectful. Adriana was being polite. Beware of Nate. I have never recieved that kind of service from even the worst of places I been to. Nate doesnt belong there. Sad that I cant give them zero stars for that encounter.

Worst experience at this store!!! Employees are rude and have a horrible attitude! I do not recommend this store. They have the least bit of training and aren’t very knowledgeable of the job. I now use a store in Schaumburg and explained my experience at this Streamwood location and the employees at the Schaumburg location informed me that this location is known for bad service, rude employees and messing up packages but taking no responsibility for the mistake! Stay away. This location gives UPS a horrible name. Avoid at all costs.
