Drove 2 hours to visit this shop. Lady in store barely acknowledged me when I came in. I assumed it was because she was helping another customer. However she never said another word to me and she continued to chat with the other customer for the entire time I was there. Needless to say I didn’t purchase anything nor will I return. Too many shops happy and willing to help and take my money!

Owner Miss Shelly is as engaging as she is knowledgeable regarding cross stitching, cross stitching needs, et cetera. Shes friendly and runs her business smoothly with an additional plus not often found in todays competitive small business market: shell tell you where you can find an item cheaper even if she does carry it in her shop. Ive been in twice so far (in the last month)--the first time was a group night where I heard loots of laughter while the ladies plied their needles on projects, and the second time ws when I had about 100 skeins of unidentified flosses in about as many colors...she took the time to sit down with me and give them DMC-equivalent names, even though they werent DMC-quality. (So at least when I go to work on a quickie project Ill have a good idea as to what Im dealing with.) Thank you, Miss Shelley, for giving me some great tips and for having such a wonderful shop that I will most definitely make my go-to sewing supply store!
