Took my ring (purchased from Jareds in Strongsville,ohio) in to have it repaired. The promise date on the receipt states it would be done today. (its been 3 1/2 weeks since I dropped it off.) Went to pick-up my ring and its NOT done. They said its from a special collection and a diamond had to be special ordered. They CANNOT tell me WHEN I will get my ring back! My advice....SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!

The services they provide are great but the staff is sub par. It is very awkward coming in for the 6 month service. They seem annoyed and try to rush you out. Sometimes the staff will ignore you for a while and it is clear they aren’t working with anyone. Love my rings but wish I didn’t have to go in every six months for service. If you don’t the warranty is voided.

Terrible experience here. I wish I had never gotten my fiancees engagement ring from Jared. My fiancees engagement ring was ordered online in April 2020. A stone fell out in July so we took it to get replaced. Once we got it replaced and picked it up, another stone fell out just a few days later. I took it back to try to return it for a refund. I understand damage will occur to the ring here and there, but two major issues in just a few months is a big red flag. My fiancee and I were dissatisfied with the ring, so I tried to get my money back for the ring and they would not let me return it. They only gave me store credit, so by this point, we were stuck with getting the ring from Jared.We picked out another ring from here in August... fast forward 7 months to March and the main diamond fell out of the new ring. When we went into the store, they really showed no concern or acknowledgement that this has been three major issues with two of their rings in the past 11 months. They always say that my fiancee hit the ring on something and that the issues are because of how she is wearing it. I dont know of anyone who has had this many problems with engagement/wedding rings from anywhere, let alone this many problems in less than a year.There is clearly something wrong with the design of these specific rings or something because this is unacceptable. I dont want to have to take the ring in every three months for the the rest of our lives. Weve been engaged for 11 months and my fiancee has been without a ring for a combined period of about 2 of them. All they said is that this is why they offer the lifetime warranty because things will happen, and they will replace the diamond. I hope they will let me return this ring for a refund and call it quits with them. Please, do not purchase anything from here. You will regret it.

Horrible! We went into the store at the end of February for an anniversary band. While looking we had my engagement ring and wedding band separated. They were just sawed apart and when being resized after that fell into pieces. I was told this was from multiple resizing.... except they had never been resized before. After being told in February I’d have all rings back in about 6 weeks I’m still waiting on 2 of 3 and they are unsure when the remaining will be in. I was made to believe this is very common for rings to come apart like this except other jewelers who I’ve spoken with say otherwise. We had bought many pieces from here over the years but this will surely be our last.

Every time I go into one of their stores, I wait on average 15 minutes to acknowledged and another while until Im actually helped. It never fails. I just ended up buying my own jewelry cleaning kit and maintaining my wedding ring and band myself.

Unfortunately, I wish I could tell you that my experience was great; I would be doing a terrible injustice to consumers who are looking for that special piece for someone they care about. I purchased my wife’s engagement ring from Jared 7 years ago with the lifetime warranty. Over the years my wife and I would drop the ring off, get some lunch, and return to pick the ring up with no problems. Fast forward to July 2020. We went to Jared’s to drop off the ring for a cleaning and a sizing. (In the past this took 2 hours) we were told that this would take 9 weeks do to the pandemic? Obviously we were shocked that it went from 2 hours to 9 weeks but we left the ring in their care. Fast forward 9 weeks. We call since no one bothered to call us and we were told that the ring never left the strongsville store do to an issue they found during an inspection. They told us they tried to call but we left them a bogus phone number. ( the phone number was on the printed receipt printed by their computer and it was the right phone number) They said after inspecting the ring it was cheeply made and that we probably bought it out of the case instead of having them custom make it. Yes you heard right apparently the jewelry in their cases is not made very well. They told us that we had 3 options. 1 we could give them the ring and they would give us the value towards another ring ( yes you are still hearing right) 2 we could give them the ring and they could custom make a replacement for 500 dollars more? Or 3 we could have them size it and have it back in a couple weeks? Can you believe it? We told them to size it and we will take it back. Fast forward 2 weeks. The ring is not back to the store yet and we will have to call back in another week. This experience has been one that will cost them big in my family and friend network. I also purchased a set of diamond earrings and diamond bracelet recently for my wife and you can bet your cash that it wasn’t from these awful jewelers.! Absolutely no customer service in a time where it’s oh so important.

We got our wedding set (and my engagement ring) here and the experience has always been awesome. Get the lifetime warranty! Ive had my rings for 8 years and because of the free cleaning, inspection, tightening, and rhodium they still look and feel like new! The sales team was so helpful through the entire process, both before and after our engagement.Unfortunately, this routine visit was less pleasant. The sales team member who helped me both at drop off and pick up was just really unpleasant. She was rude, short, and obviously confused. She made the process seem sloppy and impersonal. Other team members tried to step in and were much more pleasant and helpful. Before today I wouldve given 5 stars, so I just wanted to give feedback on this particular experience for the stores benefit. I still continue to tell every love bird I know- go to Jared! And get the warranty!

Very nice. The lady made a comment about being surprised that Id have such a nice watch. I dont even think she realised she said it. Maybe I didnt look like Id have something like that. I dont know. She was very helpful though. They have a great selection of jewelry. No mistaking that!! The store was clean and well lit.

A decent shop, but still a jewelry store. My fiance has been tirelessly researching wedding bands, and after a few months, has decided on Jared to design what she is looking for. She found what she finds to be a fair price, on the design she wants, and shes happy.I just cant give five stars for a few reasons. Although the person who helped her build her bands was pleasant, she started off the conversation by discussing my shorts, and how it is winter. Lady, you are wearing a skirt- what the heck do you have to say about my shorts? But she was polite and pleasant, so I cant be too grumpy.As well, the manager spent a fair amount of time with us (FYI we walked in as they opened for business). When I brought up that the original person (also Jared) should have the chance to beat their price, one could tell he was quite unsettled. Its jewelry, so it is a luxury and people buy it to waste money. One doesnt get jewelry instead of rent or food, it is an excess. But we arent silly or wasteful. I price shop, and pursue the best price/situation possible- and clearly they arent accustomed to that.Overall I wouldnt tell you to avoid them, but their best prices, because of black Friday merely put them into the acceptable range. Now, you just want to blow some racks, that task is easily done here.

Sara at the North Olmsted, Ohio location is the most friendly, patient and out going sales associate I have ever met. Sara makes suggestions when asked and respects customers likes and dislikes. It takes a special sales associate to work with me because I am not a quick shopper. Sara helps me feel confident with each purchase so that I don’t even consider making a return because I love every created purchase. Sara is so helpful with my shopping experience that I couldn’t imagine making a jewelry decision without her input. Kudos to Sara for being a phenomenal sales associate. Great customer service goes a long way with any shopper and Sara delivers that.

Outstanding visit. Stopped in with my coworker to look at options for his newly acquired Tag Heuer watch. Note, my coworker received his watch for his exemplary work with my company. The watch was purchased at a Jared store in a different state. The staff took the time to show him nearly every watch in the collection along with a few others. Super supportive and attentive to his needs. Timely in getting him through the process, given they had little to gain. Ultimately my coworker opted to keep the watch he received and the folks at Jared sized his wrist and took care of the fitting.

I wish I could give Jared in Strongsville 0 stars!! I went in to get a pandora charm and I guess they weren’t busy around the time I came in and all 3 employees came at me asking me questions. I was super overwhelmed with all of them around me while I was picking out charms. No one could seem to find the price of the charm I was wanting and they “made up” a price. Every charm I picked out the 2 ladies kept showing me more expensive ones and the guy boxed up everyone I said I liked and it felt like he was rushing me out of the store. After I had everything I wanted picked out the lady asked if I had a Jared card and I told her no I was paying cash and she took that opportunity to pressure me into signing up. I told her I did not want it and I just wanted to pay cash and she continued to talk about it and get me to sign up. I felt so overwhelmed and pressured I told them all I needed to think about the purchase and I walked out the door. I have NEVER felt so anxious and overwhelmed before. I went across the street to the mall and purchased 2 charms with no one pressuring me to sign up for a card or to buy more expensive charms. To the Jared employees there, learn to read your customers. You lost out on my money and my business because you were being to pushy almost to the point of suffocating me with all your sales talk.

I came here last week looking for an engagement ring and had a phenomenal experience. Knowing nothing about jewelry, I was dreading this whole process but immediately upon walking in, I was greeted by one of the employees, Eliott, and he walked me through the store while we looked at the different options as far as settings, wedding bands, and the diamonds themselves. He spent several hours helping me to design a custom ring that I know shell love and I cant wait for it to come in!

Me and my now husband were engagement ring shopping and checked this place out. The lady helping us misunderstood our budget and when we corrected her she got very rude and passed us off to a newer sales rep. Needless to say I didnt find what I was looking for there. I was so upset with the way I was treated here I havent shopped here sense. Now I buy all my jewelery at Zales where everyone is super understanding and supportive.

I agree with the previous reviews about the sales staff being very friendly. I took my wedding rind there to be cleaned and there was no charge. I was surprised, because I didn’t buy my ring at the store. I bought my ring in another state and different jewelry store. I did have my husband’s wedding band treated with rhodium gold application and it looked new afterwards. There was a $50 charge and it was well worth it!

I went to jared after work granted i am a construction worker so i appeared dirty . With that being said you think i got the time of day from them preps . Answer is no i did not get the time of day from an employee 😅 . Sorry for your lose but went else to spend money . I have been a customer of Jared in Strongsville since it opened. I have always had a wonderful experience with very personalized attention. When I couldnt find the exact setting that I was looking for in a very expensive pair of earrings, I worked with the design team to get exactly what I had in mind. I am still in love with the earring and necklace set that was custom made for me. My husband and I enjoy the warmth of the staff who welcome us every time we visit. We have never had a negative experience with the beautiful jewelry or with the customer service. Thank you to Kelly and her staff for being our jeweler.

I bring my wifes and my ring in every six months to have cleaned and rhodium. She is a house contractor and construction. Needless to say her ring always has issues. Whether they have to clean all the drywall out of it or diamonds are loose, scratches, chips or other. They always take good care of our rings. Steve repairs our rings and probably cringes when I walk through the door every six months. Our rings come back looking just as they did in our special day. I have never been disappointed. Thank for taking such good care of our most important prize possessions.

WILL NEVER GO HERE AGIAN!!! i have lost 5 or 6 dinmamons (I only had the first ring for not even a year) they kept beating around the bush we will fix it which they did then after the 4 or 5th dimond they finally descied to get me another ring by that time the first one was discountinue, so we pick out a new one with in 5 months I lost another diamind finally after the lady who gave us the new ring said if theres a problem we will give you a new ring ok 5 months later lost another diamond was fighting with them and showing them the signature which the manager is very rude and doesnt call you back they finnaly agreed to do it he wasnt happy now and I still dont have my ring after 4 months and constellly calling them asking where it is! They promise you everything just to make a sale but never follow through with their promise!!! Very poor customer service!!

I’ve had a poor experience at Jared’s in Strongsville.. I recently graduated from college and my dad purchased a ring for me, unfortunately I decided to return the ring for something I would wear more often. I chose to look at watches and the salesperson that helped my dad and myself was Robert. I was going between two Tissot watches, one automatic and the other Swiss Quartz. He tried to sell me on the automatic watch (more expensive of the two) because I would never need to replace the battery since there isn’t one and the watch that requires a battery would need to be pressurized every time the battery is replaced. I decided on the Swiss Quartz Tissot because I liked the looks better and while he was doing the return of the ring he charged my dad’s Rogers card instead of is Jared’s card. The issue with this (besides charging the wrong card) is my dad received a $150 discount when he bought the ring and it was supposed to transfer to the new watch, which it didn’t because the return was not processed to the right card. To couple with the card issues the battery in the watch died within three days of purchase.. They ordered me the identical watch that came in a few days later, and the battery in that watch was dead too! Of course, I know understand the staff has no control of how old the battery is in every watch but after having issues already I felt the new watch would have been inspected before I came in to pick it up. While at the store, Robert changed the battery in front of me and told me all would be fine. I questioned if the watch needed to be pressurized because he told me originally every time the battery was changed it must be! His response to this question was “Do you plan on going in the ocean anytime soon!?” I did not appreciate this answer because it made me feel like he either lied to me when I purchased the original watch or was lying to me then. After speaking with the manager they ordered me a third watch to make things right and let me wear the second watch while I waited for it to come in. Mind you, this was a week after I purchased the original watch and the staff still did not have an answer for me on the credit card situation at this point. We were told the card situation would be “handled on Monday” which by this point Monday number 2 was approaching. Three days after the second meeting I went into the store to see if the replacement watch was available and it was not. I was reassured by Don (I think a manager) that Jared does not ship over the weekend and the watch would arrive “tomorrow”. This didn’t seem to bother me as much as the fact that the credit card situation was still not fixed after a week and a half...! After everything I decided to return the watch completely because I did not want to waste anymore time at a place that doesn’t have their “stuff” together, a salesperson that lied regarding the protocol for battery replacement (emailed Tissot and found the watch must be pressurized after every battery change), and the overall experience was poor. So beware and listen carefully when the sales staff tries to upsell you on products because it might come back to help you down the road!

Spark note version: Go see Kaylynn for custom!!! She is amazing!!!Long version:My fiancé bought my ring from a store out of state and they screwed up by re-sizing my ring from a 6 or 7 to a 10.5 over two years I lost 4 or 5 side stones! I was told it could get worse as the metal was warped Jared in Strongsville ended up being the amazing store who fixed my problem! After we established what I wanted l, we went a custom route. Assistant Manager Kaylynn (not sure if I spelled that right) is the QUEEN OF CUSTOM! We took the original design of my ring and fixed a few things to give it further stability and to make it a cohesive piece. We went through 3 digital renders before we found the right combo and everyone was patient with me along the way! My new right looks very close to my original ring but is better than ever before! I am so happy this all worked out. I was a mess when I thought I’d have to pick a new ring - I legit cried in the store for over a half hour!! Even though the strongsville store was NOT the store who made the mistake they sure as hell made it better! The whole floor staff (I don’t know all their names) was a huge help as well! This place is run through teamwork and it shows! Thanks for all Your help!
