We were in Door County for a getaway and our Grand Cherokee would not come out of neutral after towing it behind our RV. We called Jim Olson Motors and they got it in the next day to look at it. The service manager Joe F. looked at it for us and was able to fix it just by making a few adjustments and didn’t charge us a thing. We truly appreciated this kindness and the time Joe spent with us to help us understand what we were doing wrong to get it shifted back into neutral. This was true Sturgeon Bay hospitality for two people who were on vacation and just passing thru. We need more dealerships who treat customers with this kindness. ❤️❤️❤️

I would highly recommend Jim Olson Motors. I was able to work with Eric and Hailey, and both were honest and very personable. I live about 450 miles from the dealership, but drove all that way because I was able to find the vehicle I wanted from them at a price that was much better than anything I was able to find locally. To me, it is well worth the drive to save money in the long run. Hailey answered all my questions via email and Eric expedited the process when I arrived at the dealership. Both even stayed past closing. Eric also sent a very nice thank you note after the sale.

Shout out to the service department especially Adam. Compass on my Jeep was acting crazy which affected the navigation system. Adam knew exactly what it was and took care of it and with a friendly smile. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was greeted with an unexpected surprise when I got into my Jeep, the interior was wiped down, floor mats were vacuumed, I think it was even run through the car wash. 👍🏻

When you want to buy a vehicle they go by the highest value, when you want to trade in a vehicle, they go by the very lowest value. Wanted to buy very same kind of vehicle but the one im trading is 4 years older but they figure its a $18,000.00 swing. They wanted to give me $1000.00 for this one in picture lol. I bet they would have made about $8000.00 on the whole process

Big shout out to the 2 gentlemen at the service counter. On my way up to door county camping my check engine light came on. We stopped in and they were able to read the code and let me know that it was something that did not need to be fixed asap. Terrible experience and customer service, particularly in their communication. Was in town for the holidays (Thanksgiving) and dropped my vehicle off late Tuesday morning as it wouldnt start. While they couldnt guarantee anything that day, I was told they would try to get it in that afternoon to look at with no certainly they could fix. But at least Id know if Id need to take it elsewhere. Having them look Tuesday would have been hopeful but the car sat ALL DAY Wednesday as well and when I called Friday to see if they would get it in I was told no. Had to pay for a tow to Appleton Friday that I could have just done Tuesday and because of that, had to find another car to get home over the weekend.

We had a roadside issue and needed a shop to look it over on short notice. The store manager at one of the three dealerships (Ford I believe) was extremely helpful. He stopped what he was doing, had us pull the car in and looked it over. They were very friendly and attentive- would recommend for anyone in the area.

Ive been relentlessly looking for a used truck and due to Covid and the rest of the craziness that 2020 has, we just cant call on them fast enough. I found one online at Jim Olson Motors but they didnt have photos posted. When I called, Brennan texted me a bunch of photos of the car. Most dealers right now are making me send money over in order to hold the car for me to see it (Im 45 minutes away) but Brennan assured me he would hold it and get it ready for me to test drive. I came with questions and they got me answers. They were so helpful for every step in the process. They stayed after closing to help get the deal done before the night was over, called a few places in town to make sure they were open for dining (thanks, Covid19) and then called the next day to make sure the drive home was smooth. They also provide a warranty to stand behind the vehicles they sell on the lot. We have five kids who all turn 16 within 18 months of each other. Well be back ;)

Drove up to Door County Thursday night and noticed a hose hanging underneath the car. On Friday morning I drove to the dealership at 7:30 am. I had no appointment but explained I was concerned about driving the car, especially a 4 hour drive home. Scott and Chris were amazing. Happily put it on the lift, fixed the problem (insulation hose around a fuel line) and sent me on my way within 20 minutes! Thank you guys for accommodating me and the great service!

Very disappointed with the service department. I was in to get my vehicle checked out for a brake problem. First thing I was told was that with my ABS light on theres a problem there. (My ABS light has been on the last 4 times my truck was in for service and now theres an issue ?) After they removed the tires and looked at the brake calipers I was told that they dont know what kind of mechanic I was and they wanted to remove all three brake calipers that I put on and throw them away and start over by putting on theirs. Disgusted by the remarks made tome I had them take my truck down off the lift and I was going somewhere else. While driving down the road I found out they left 2 bolts loose on one of the calipers and 1 fell out locking up the truck while going down the road. With this I was told that the emergency brake cabke was not able to be fixed. Surprisingly one trip to another repair shop and after one day everything was fixed including the emergency brake cable, the ABS system and everything else. I will never be back there for service again !

One time I was at them, first bad experience. I will never go to them. They tried to scam me. They didnt do a wheel alignment because they said the suspension was not good. This was not true, just trying to do more money. Very bad!

After purchasing a vehicle for $40,000 I was basically told that I would have to pay for an alignment out of my own pocket even though I had not even driven this car for a week. I recall having better help and service buying my first car, which was a 97 Buick that if I remember right was only worth $2000. So long story short, what do you get when you buy $40,000 worth of a car at Jim Olson? Disappointing service and zero help even though your vehicle is certified... needless to say, my next car will definitely not be a GM car nor will it come from this dealership.

Avoid the service department. During a visit to Door County in July of 2016, our car was taken here for service that included a tire rotation, and everything appeared to be OK. When our next service came due, a different Chevrolet dealer discovered that all the lug nuts had been overtightened to such a degree that they could not be removed by normal means, and were destroyed in the removal process. The cost of parts and labor to repair this damage was $270.63. Jim Olson has refused to acknowledge any responsibility or offer any compensation. Chevrolet Owner Assistance has made sympathetic noises, but apparently has little control over its dealers. We have always believed that taking our car to a dealer would ensure that the job was done right, but this experience has taught us otherwise. We have been satisfied with work done at other dealers, but are now looking at other options.

My experience with Jim Olson motors was terrible. Heres the story.Friday my truck was towed there. They said they couldnt get it looked at until Tuesday due to labor day weekend. Ok, no problem.Tuesday @ about 4pm I still havent gotten a call. I call and they say they need to replace the fuel module. I said alright get it taken care of.Friday rolls around again, and once again I call to see what the hell is taking them so long. They said they needed to order a part. And it wont be in until Monday and they would have my truck ready by 4pm.Well thats bs, it doesnt take a dealership 6 days to get a part. Ive dealt with plenty of dealerships and it takes 3 days normally.Monday rolls around, I have to call again to see what the heck is taking so long. Welp it wasnt finished.Finally after 12 days at the dealership my truck is finished. And they actually CALLED ME to let me know its done. But this isnt the end.Typically when you pick up a vehicle that you had worked on, the Service Department Associates describe what they fixed, the warranty, and show you where your vehicle is. Nope not here.They just pointed me to where to pay, I had to find somebody to ask what the warranty on the parts were and I had to roam around the parking lot looking for my truck.Absolutely the worst experience Ive ever had at a car dealership. No wonder everybody goes to Green Bay or Appleton to purchase vehicles.Ill never be back.
