I would highly recommend Sahs Auto! If I could I would make this a six star review! I was visiting Door County with my family, came back from a hike and my car wouldnt start. AAA towed it to Sahs Auto. Even though they had a full schedule the next day, they figured out the problem (weak battery) and fixed a couple of other things quickly. That allowed me to check out of the vacation rental and head back home without any extra hassles. They were extremely friendly and helpful, even to this out-of-towner. It was obvious that they take great pride in being knowledgeable and have the satisfaction of a job well done. Now I wish I lived closer so they could service my vehicles all the time.

The team at Sahs Auto worked hard with me and my insurance provider to get me back on the road as long as possible. They were diligently to get the over 100 parts needed to repair my vehicle as quickly as possible. When it was apparent my car would be in the shop for an extended period of time due to parts shortages and that my insurance company would not cover my car rental, they worked with me on a price that was fair and cognizant of what I was going through. Randy and Renae are passionate for what they do and fight for their customers. My car looked brand new when it was done. I never wanted to add body work to all the things they do for the two cars I bring in, but you can now. My car looks brand new!

I had to have my car towed from Egg Harbor and before the tow was arranged, Randy offered several suggestions to get the car problem solved (which my dealership in Chicago had no interest in trying to help with). Once the car arrived at Sahs, they rearranged their busy schedule to work my car in for a diagnostic evaluation immediately and within an hour let me know it was an alternator problem. Im very pleased with the work I had done here! They were really easy to work with after my car needed repairs from hitting a deer. Had to have both drivers doors repaired and repainted. Customer service was excellent. If I make a point to look closely at the factory doors vs the repaired doors, there is a very subtle difference, but the quality of the work is excellent. Done on time and slightly under the quote. I will go back if I need body work.

TransportWe have relied upon Sahs Auto Transport for transporting a vehicle from Wisconsin to Florida for several years and are very pleased with their commitment to providing quality and timely service!

Vehicle was taken in to be repaired after an accident. State Farm recommended this shop. The repairs were not completed on time. They pressured us to pay for repairs they claimed were not caused by the accident although they were in the same area as the accident repairs. They returned the vehicle in an unsafe condition and making loud grinding noises that they then claimed would require other additional repairs, also in the area of the accident but that they claimed were not caused by the accident. This vehicle ran fine and had no issues prior to the accident and being taken to this shop. The cost of repairs, to us has been over $800, the insurance company has paid this shop over $6000 and now we must take it to another shop to repair whatever damage their work on the vehicle has caused. They had the vehicle for 5 weeks and they returned it to us making loud grinding sounds and unsafe to drive. This is unacceptable.You have to wonder what their motivation is to force us to pay for repairs as opposed to the insurance company. Well, they mark up the cost of parts to individual consumers and they charge individual consumers a 32% higher labor charge per hour then they charged insurance company. That is an incentive.

Came to sahs with a friend of mine because he wanted to know how much for them to repair a small dent. Mind you this is not the first place we stopped and have already talked to other shops. The ladies here at sahs basically say that it’s not worth there time and will not help him. Conversation did not go on for much longer due to there disrespecting attitude. Also noted that when my friend asked for a quote the lady asked if he would even be able to pay for it. Like he was some bum pulling up in a beater.

We had our car repaired (body work) this was the second vehicle done by them and we were very pleased with the work that was done, the car looked brand new. Mike the person that took care of us was very caring and helpful. The owner Randy and Mike were very helpful when we picked the car up, it was not now that the work is done they were done with us in fact, I had some questions and stopped in a couple weeks later Randy took the time to answer them and gave me more information about other things totally above and beyond customer service.

This is my 3rd time to Sahs for body repair. Each visit I experienced courteous service and same day estimates, followed by prompt repair and all insurance claims made easy. Its like they work magic! They were able to get the car in for a quote the same day. Some of the places our insurance recommended didnt have an opening to quote for around a week! Got the ball rolling quickly so prices could be accepted and checks could be sent since someone hit our parked car in a parking lot. Though we were happy they owned up to it and reported the damage. (Seems rare these days)Repairs look great. Appreciated being able to correspond over email. (Dont like phone calls) And also their online tool about repair progress was very nice.

The staff is very accommodating in getting my vehicles in when I want. Randy even took me to a noon meeting one time, and then brought me back to the shop. They keep a computer file on all recommended manufacturer maintenance, and email me when I am due. There waiting room is modern and quiet. The service is great. We had exceptional service from Sahs Auto, which helped make a not so pleasant situation (our car broke on our last day of vacation) quite tolerable. The owners and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, they explained everything in detail, and helped us make the right choice for the repair. One other thing that was extremely helpful was the fact that they have cars for rental on site, saved us the headache to look for another car rental place (finding a car rental in Door County is not an easy task).

The staff at Sahs truly are great people to have to meet by accident. We had to have work done on our vehicle twice this year. The first time was due to vandalism. We had to go though the insurance company and let me tell you, that was not a fun company to have to deal with! But the staff at Sahs handled it all directly with the insurance company and made an awful situation so much better! Then the second time our vehicle was hit by a forklift at a local business. The business didnt want to go though there insurance company and wanted to pay for it out of pocket. Which was very stressful and left me feeling extremely uneasy. My experience at Sahs Auto was phenomenal! I was on vacation in Door County when something went wrong with my familys van while driving back to Chicago. We had it towed to Sahs Auto a couple hours before closing, and I thought we were unable to get it fixed that day. We had to use Sahs while on vacation in Door County. After towing our car, they replaced our alternator in about 4 - 5 hours, and are AAA affiliated. Excellent customer service and very easy to work with. They even picked us up from a car rental location in town when we had to return our rental car before our car was ready.Would definitely recommend/use again.

Until this year, I had always thought of Sahs as just a body shop. I came in for en estimate on some body work, and somehow the topic came up that I was told by another mechanical shop that I needed to replace my engine (260k miles). Randy, the owner of Sahs asked me if he could go for a ride with me and drive my jeep. He said thats not your engine thats your front wheel bearings (and showed me how the noise intensified as he banked some turns).Before spending $5,000 with the other mechanic shop, He asked me to spend just $100 with Sahs and they would do a full checkout and engine evaluation including compression checks. I was surprised to find out that they also did mechanical work.Turned out all my engine needed was to have two valve cover gaskets replaced, replace front wheel bearings, and a nice kiss on the hood ornament and we have been good to ever since this most pleasant encounter earlier this spring.I would highly recommend Sahs Auto to anyone wanting excellent customer service and fair pricing.

Sahs Auto is a repair shop that has expertise in foreign autos. I have a 1998 BMW M Roadster, and have had difficulty in finding service for my car other than the BMW dealership in Milwaukee. I was asked to leave a review so I am. Of course that was before my last appointment. I will not be going back to Sahs Auto. Im very frustrated that my car is still not fixed after getting tires balanced. new brake pads, rotors machined, all new tires, and a new radiator. I went in to get an oil change to first time, they seemed nice and I like to support local business so I went back. This time I had a severe vibrating issue. I was told that I needed my tires balanced but that the tires looked fine. So I did that. Left and immediately had to come back because the issues was still there. Then I was told I need new tires...ummm, ok. So I got two. The issue continued so I went back and got two more since thats what I was told was the problem. I was also told its a guessing game a few times. Um, no. Its a car and you should know the steps to find out where the problem is and not guess at it until Im broke. I could have guessed myself. I took my car to a professional to KNOW what the problem is and what needs to be fixed. Needless to say my car is STILL not fixed from the vibrating that I took it in for. After I got the other two tires I knew something was up. They took forever and then said my drive train could be bad this time. I do not feel confident that this place had any idea of what they are doing. Would not recommend.

As luck would have it on my way to my sisters wedding (this was back in 2013) a truck in front of me dropped some excess stones on the pavement and one of them bounced up and cracked my windshield on my Kia rental. Not a big crack mind you, I would say more the size of a pinhole, which was very noticeable, at least to me! Someone from my motel recommended Sahs so I headed right over there and spoke with Randy, the owner. Initially he told me they dont do windshield repairs and advised me to go to Walmart and pick up a repair kit and he even offered to do it himself. Now Im from Chicago and I dont ever remember any of my mechanics (that Ive been going to for years) going above and beyond the call of duty like Randy did that day! I got the kit and he immediately worked on it and did a bang-up job. Hardly noticeable. In the meantime I sat in the waiting area, which was nice and clean, almost like a doctors office, and spent my time talking to Randys manager Renee. In the end I dont remember what he charged me, I just know it was nominal. All in all, this left me with a good feeling about Sahs and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody that has any kind of a car problem.P.S. Thought I had written a review already, but I didnt see it on here. Maybe it was on Yelp. Oh well....

Did an excellent job on the bodywork! Friendly and thorough, looks great. Even cleaned the inside of the car before I picked it up.

I have had several repairs from Sahs and they have always done excellent work, restoring our cars to like new condition. They are very professional in generating the estimate which has no hidden charges. Their body work is outstanding, and their painting cannot be distinguished from the original. I recommend Sahs highly.
