Wonderful selection of meats, homemade pickles, even pasties! Weve been looking for hot Italian sausage and they had some frozen. Wish they carried salad.

We shop here ALL THE TIME. They have great chicken, pork, beef, brats, deli meats and cheeses, frozen things, bread, chips, some cheese spreads, prepared salads, candy, frozen fruits,... Really enjoy the people who work there. -HeidiCall in your order during the shelter-in-place order and they will tell you when to pick it up. Call when you arrive and they will deliver it to your car.

I love Centrals bacon, smoked pork chops, steaks, potato salad, brats, and everything else Ive tried. The service is always FANTASTIC. One time, I wanted to make beef and broccoli for dinner, and the kind man behind the counter not only helped me choose what type of beef to get (it turned out delicious), but he also cut it up for me in small strips. Remember to bring lots of cash!

I have lived in Sturgis for the past 30 years and have been a very satisfied customer since day one! I have been a caterer since 2007 and Clint, Sue and their staff have personally helped me grow my business with excellent service not only with their products, but doing ‘the math’ for me...for instance, when I need to make pulled pork for 200 people...they do the figuring for me and get me the right cuts and amounts of meat to make my clients happy! We have become great friends and shared in each other’s joys and sorrows and that is something you can only get with shopping small town/locally. Central Meat Market is a terrific asset to this town!

We have been customers since1988. Never had a bad experience always had great meat great sevice. We buy bundles usually100lbs ones sometimes50lbs ones and a lot of other stuff there. Last month I bought a50lbs meat box. 8lbs of our hamburger was dark brown, our cube steaks were brown all around the edges. I was shocked! I took the pictures of the meat and my receipt in and because I didnt have the paper list there was nothing they could do about it. I couldnt believe it what a way to treat a long time customer. I will never go back! They started going hill months ago but I thought maybe they were just having some problems so we stuck with them. Not anymore. It is truly sad!

We get lamb every year from Central Meat Market for our church Seder meal on Maundy Thursday. They are so easy to work with for a no hassle experience. They always have plenty of help, so we are taken care of as soon as we walk in the door. Central Meat has a huge variety of items plus friendly service. Ive gone there personally for meats for graduation parties and other occasions. If I lived closer, Id buy all of my meat from them. They have a great business!

Started going to Central Meat Market when I was little with my grandma back in the day when they could give out hotdogs. Now as an adult we have had them do our butchering and where I buy any other meats. Always fresh, quality meats and service!

I live in coldwater and have a butchers shop here, but I drive the 45 minutes to get meat here. The best is their ham loaf....

We went here yesterday to get pork belly. I was greatly impressed with their non boxed beef...Its hard to find a real butcher and aged beef. I didnt realize they did not take credit or debit cards...but we gladly went down the road to an ATM. So worth it...We drove over forty minutes from Angola, IN in that driving rain storm.Ive lost over 100 pounds and maintained for 17 years eating a low carb Ketogenic diet and recently went back to school to attain a Certificate of Nutrition. I had no idea this place existed but Im going to be one of their biggest fans now. 😉

Horrible.We have been long-time customers of Sand-Lake Party Story & Meat Market in Nottowa, and recently moved to Sturgis, so we decided to give Central a try. We ordered a $90 meat bundle and paid up front for it.We had to keep calling back over and over again to check on it, and 5 days later we called AGAIN and they finally told us they were packing it up now and we could come and pick it up.I went and picked it up and nothing was frozen, as is normal with any bundle we got at Sand-Lake. We froze it and lately have finally been getting into it.Needless to say, everything had brown spots and smelled bad. We figured maybe we were just spoiled in quality.My wife cooked some pork chops out of that bundle tonight, and I cannot leave the office because they stink so bad it will make me throw up. They smell absolutely rotten.We called to address it, and they simply told us We never have that problem. Give us the paper you got with your bundle. and You should have specified if you wanted fresh or frozen. I can tell you that it does not matter, because they never gave us that paper and this bundle was neither fresh nor frozen. It looks like they took all of their old display meats the day they got the truck in, and gave us the old crap while putting the new out for display. We feel sincerely robbed.Needless to say, we will NEVER go back to Central, and I will tell anyone that will listen, how bad their meat is.We will make the extra 20 minute trip to Nottowa from now on and deal with people we know we can trust. Fool me once, shame on you...

Not too thrilled with the handling if raw meat with their bare hands....of putting raw hamburger on the scale without paper (didnt wipe down from previous use)....then raw pork chops on top of it without cleaning. Seems unsanitary to me.
