It’s not sugar hill collision anymore

I had just received a hood scoop for my 2010 Mustang and wanted it professional installed as it requires 4 screws through the hood along with proper alignment. Sugar Hill Auto Collision came highly recommended by another high end auto body shop who wasnt going to be able to get me in until 2 weeks. I drove over and Randy took a look and asked if I wanted it done now.....I couldnt believe it. They pulled it in. Got it done in an hour. Looks frikn awesome. So worth the price. Im taking my cars back whenever I need anything done......!!!!

This place is outstanding. I received incredible service each time Ive gone. The first time was at the beginning of 2018 for some body work I needed. Their pricing was fair and the finished product was exceptional. The best part was it only took them a couple of days to get the job done. I go in today for a minor issue I was having with my drivers side door and they looked at it, fixed the issue at no cost! It was fixed in less than 20 minutes . I highly recommend this shop for any and ally body shop needs.

I am so happy that a friend recommended Kevin and Sugar Hill Auto Collision! After complaining about the quality of repairs done by my insurers direct repair facility and getting nowhere, I took my wifes car to Kevin for a post repair inspection. He pointed out items that were potential safety concerns and offered to contact the previous repair facility prior to beginning work. Within 2 hours of contacting them, the VP of Operations was there looking at my wifes car and offering to fix it properly. Swindled my good friend out of thousands of dollars. He was told the minor repair would cost about $450 total and had a verbal agreement with the owner. The owner advised against going through his insurance company and promised to do his best to keep the price on target. The shop took FOREVER to repair the vehicle while my friend was constantly trying to get a hold of the owner who would not respond to any texts or emails or calls. They charged my friend $2,000 in storage fees for them taking SO LONG to repair the car. To top it all off, he charged my friend $3,200 total. He then demanded my friend pay it within 10 days. Owner is a liar and crook. He also created a fake gmail account to email State Farm and create even more issues. Fraud alert! Do not use this guy.

I was in the unfortunate position of dealing with a total loss vehicle and SHAC made the process as easy as possible. Michael was always available to answer my questions and kept me informed throughout. He was friendly, attentive, understanding, and very helpful. The customer service I received shows how SHAC is a top contender for any collision needs. I highly recommend them.

Awesome Awesome Service. Insurance would not pay for Oem parts so owner stepped up to get Honda to price match after market parts. Just wonderful and professional services. Paint job was a perfect match.

*DO NOT USE THIS SHOP IF YOURE GOING THROUGH INSURANCE*My truck is still sitting on their yard and they are charging me $3200 to pick it up. WITH NO REPAIRS DONE. I was in a fender bender, with damage to my rear bumper and bedside. They racked up storage fees by sending an outrageous estimate to the insurance company of $10k, which included repairs that were completely unnecessary and unrelated to my accident. Insurance had to send a rep out to do their own inspection, which took a few days and their estimate was $3900. Sugar Hill then came back with a $5200 estimate.... this went on for about 3 weeks. I asked them if they could remove some things from their estimate to get close to what insurance is willing to pay. Instead I received a email from the owner Kevin, demanding that I remove my vehicle and a $3200 bill. Ga Farm Bureau and State Farm both said this is the one shop they do not like doing business with.

After having my car rear ended, I took it to Sugar Hill Auto Collision for repairs. They worked hard to give me an estimate that would allow me to keep my car, but unfortunately the insurance company called it a total loss. What is remarkable is that every person involved in the process was so polite, understanding and helpful. Their facility was very clean and comfortable.On the rainy day that my vehicle was scheduled to be moved to another location, they helped my move all of my possessions from my car to my rental.Again, courtesy ruled the day. Three days after buying my new vehicle, it received minor from a serviceman, so I took it to Sugar Hill Auto Collision to get an estimate for repair. Dustin assessed the situation and was able to fix it while I was standing there at no charge. They did a PHENOMENAL job on my car. I took in my 2004 Lexus ES330 for front bumper repair earlier this week. They called this afternoon to let me know that my car was ready for pick up. I needed a new bumper and paint. When I arrived to pick up my car I did not recognize it parked in front of the shop. It looks amazing. They matched the paint perfectly. Not to mention the wonderful staff. They were professional, respectful, knowledgeable and beat the price on 3 other estimates (they do not know about those estimates). On top of restoring my car they detailed it to perfection.

Totally happy with the work that was done. This was my second time using Sugar Hill Auto Collision, and again they came through with matching the paint color perfectly. Took my Mustang in for some repairs to the door and mirror. They had to repaint the door which unfortunately meant repainting the roof to blend the paint properly, which in turn meant removing my rear window. All that was fine, until a few months later when the door they repaired and the rear roof panel began to leak every time it rained. And it has rained quite a lot. Find a shop that can put your vehicle back together as well as they can rip it apart.

Great group of people at Sugar Hill Auto Collision! They worked out my insurance claim for me for my Jeep Wrangler and they also detailed it and did a fantastic job. The staff were all helpful. Got my Jeep back in 1 week so they did a great job getting my vehicle back to me in a timely manor. Highly recommended!!

This is my opinion and my experience with this shop: A terrible shop that I would NEVER recommend. Not only did they make it just about impossible for me to get my car back by holding it hostage after they refused to work on it. But they have employees who have ZERO compassion. After I finally got it back and was able to spend some time in it I have a list of things that they shouldnt of done. The car went to them with almost a full tank of gas. I got it back with a quarter tank of gas. My radio station in my car was changed. My passenger seat had been moved all the way back and it has NEVER been slid that far back. There are parts that were missing from the car. There were parts that have been damaged that I am now going to have to pay out of pocket to replace. And all in all, they are just absolutely rude. I went to them on a recommendation from someone else. But I sure as hell will NEVER recommend them to anyone. If I could give them zero stars I would. They are crooked thieves and they ripped me off from ground zero.Edit: let’s also add the deodorizer that was sprayed in my car to cover up the musty smell from the water damage from when it was parked outside. How my steering wheel buttons no longer work. The cover for my spare tire in my trunk is damaged and falling apart. They are also now trying to bully me into removing my reviews about my experience with this shop. Who I have found out is notorious for this and for jacking up rates and bullying customers.

Nice place, everyone was pleasant and helpful. However, they do not play well with Allstate Insurance. I took my truck there after it was hit. The truck was considered totaled. Allstate wouldn’t pay ~$1,250 of the bill that they claimed included exorbitant fees. Of course, all of that came out of my already reduced settlement. I asked Sugar Hill Collision and Allstate for relief. Neither budged. Managed to talk to someone off the record that says this is a regular occurrence between the two.

Love getting the loaner car for the day. Honest, dependable, reasonable!!!

Had a few scratches from a random rogue grocery cart I wanted buffed out of my new Volvo XC60. It was only a few scratches but I love keeping my car looking new. I got quotes from a couple of shops that were in the hundreds. Kyle at Sugar Hill quickly buffed it out for almost nothing. I’m not even sure where the scratches were now. Loved the customer service and how knowledgeable and friendly staff was. This will be my go to shop God forbid anything big happens.

I cannot say enough about the guys over at Sugar Hill Collision. I had driven my sons BMW to the gym one Saturday morning and was rear ended by a large work truck. Kevin and the guys there spent hours with me going over my options and offering help when dealing with insurance company. Unfortunately, my car was a total loss but the guys always gave me guidance to a third party adviser to help ensure I received what I should on my car. I am confident in referring anyone to them and will be taking my Jeep up for repairs without hesitation!

These texts and emails show his character. I am not maliciously intending to harm to his business. I ran over something in my car and had problems. I took my car to several places to get estimates for my insurance company, when a friend recommended Sugar Hill Collision. I am so happy I went there. I had gotten estimates that I paid for from $1,000 to $1,300.Sugar Hill worked with my insurance company, took my car apart, assessed the damage, and my insurance company totaled the car. Sugar Hill cared enough to look further into the damage than the other garages. I am so thankful for the way they handled my situation! Thanks to Kevin, David and all the staff there, I am not riding around in a partially repaired vehicle. I also forgot to get mt garage door opener and one of the girls there was nice enough to retrieve that for me along with my St. Mountain sticker!! This is the BEST place to bring your car!!! I had a great experience here after someone knocked out my taillight in a parking lot. Michael was very informative during the consultation and even gave us directions for ordering a new taillight so that when we dropped the car it would take less time. The repair took no time at all and Michael was even able to buffer out the scratches on the car without any trouble. Now the side that was hit looks even better than the other side of the car! Great job and great service.

The team at Sugar Hill Body Shop has twice done excellent, fast, service at a reasonable price. I rarely give praise, especially these days where often times where good service is almost non-existent. These guys deserve it. My car looks brand new and the paint is perfectly matched.

This repair shop is amazing, the entire team, especially Dustin are marvelous, the work that was preformed was simply top notch. I had two repairs, both of which made both vehicles look as good as new.There are few good auto repair places around, but I will choose this place again over any other, because they go beyond the call of duty to make the entire experience as frictionless as possible, while keeping me constantly updated throughout the repair process.

This shop is the best Ive ever been to. I took my car here after someone backed into it. The customer service is phenomenal and they gave a very accurate estimate of time to completion. They handled everything with the insurance company for additional work beyond the quote, so I didnt have to hassle with that. After they completed the work on my car, they washed, buffed, and waxed him, AND cleaned out the interior. The work they did on my car is beyond what I could have imagined, and he looks better than ever. I literally cant stop looking at him and smiling. I love my car and these guys understand that. I will be returning here if I ever need additional body work done on any of my vehicles.

I was impressed with how thorough and professional the team was. They were timely with updates and careful to walk me through everything. My 2008 RAM needed the rear fender fixed and the rear bumper replaced. I had slid into a cement post. I saw all the good reviews on google. Im semi retired and told them that there was no rush. It took about 2 weeks but it was OK. They did a beautiful job. It looks great. I also had them to detail it as well. They brought in a detail guy and he did a great job. No more scratches except for a couple deep ones that couldnt be removed and the bed which I told them not to bother with.Customer service was top notch. Very satisfied.

This shop uses scare tactics and false information to tarnish other shops, get shops to buy back your car after repairs, or overcharge the insurance companies. They also take advantage of the fact that your average consumer is not well versed in car repairs.I went to them for a second opinion after my car was repaired by another shop and left in tears, horrified that my car was unsafe. After calming down, I took it to a third shop who assured me that the original repairs were just fine. Still unconvinced, I had a relative (retired from the industry) look as well, who agreed the repairs were fine.Also, Ive read some of the owners responses to negative reviews, and it seems he does not like to take accountability for anything. So Ill wait for a response similar to that to appear below.

Very impressed with these guys. They have an excellent, stream lined system in place to get the job done on time. I primarily dealt with Kevin the owner, and Dustin. Dustin called to update me once a week on progress and they will clearly go out of their way for the customer.They stuck to their original quote, and absorbed extra charges when insurance threw us a curve ball. (I was present as Insurance was on speaker phone.) I hope I never have to visit a body shop again, but there is no question where to go if I do. Thank you guys!

This place is awesome. They repaired my vehicle back to its original form. They kept in contact with me and updated me throughout the process. Updated/Amended Review:After my initial review the owner, Kevin, reached out to me immediately to discuss the issues. We had a very nice chat about what went wrong and why things happened the way they did. At no point did he try to make excuses and I was pleasantly surprised by his demeanor and genuine concern. He vowed to make things right without any further inconvenience to me and was true to his word. My car is now fully repaired and I’m happy with the quality of work. I’d be willing to give the shop another chance in the future, if the need ever arises, based on the way Kevin handled situation.Original Review:We are 4 weeks into my quoted 2-3 day repair job. Multiple excuses of needing supplements from my insurance company and 4 times using the excuse of wrong/broken parts. No communication, I had to call them every time to get updates and excuses when promised deadlines were not met. The work they have finished appears to be good but not worth my wasted time and energy.

We were very happy with our experience at this body shop. Michael was a big help from beginning to end and always handled himself professionally. Our car looked brand new when we picked it up. I would recommend this business to anyone with body shop needs.

I bought a RAM 1500 truck in early January 2016. It had a dent and door ding that the dealership promised to fix. They sent me to Kevin and the rest of the Sugar Hill folks. I was concerned that since the dealership was paying (and probably not top dollar) that I wouldnt get their best efforts. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The work was superb. I am not an expert, but when you literally can not tell that anything was done and it looks brand new, well thats good enough for me! I will certainly take my truck back to these guys for work in the future, should I need it. Thanks again!

Took my truck in after an incident with a tractor-trailer truck, they took the time to explain to me what was going to be done how it was going to be handled, helped me get my rental car. When they finished with my truck not only did it look perfect outside but they cleaned the entire inside as well. I will send everybody I know to Sugar Hill Auto Collision Center. The owners are present and working with their crew, I was very impressed.

Please beware of this shop. This place was recommended to me by Nissan and I do regret taking it here. I was in an accident that was not my fault and the at-fault insurance was taking care of everything. Should have been a simple process. Instead, they held my car hostage to get more money. Based on another review, it looks like they have a habit of doing this. What they do is spike the price of repairs (way above reasonable pricing) and demand the insurance pays it. When I went to pull the car out to get a 2nd opinion, they wanted $1,700 to have the car back after only inspecting it for an estimate, which gaurantees no one is taking it out. This resulted in the process taking over 2 months longer than it should have. Which resulted in me paying for rental fees out of pocket. I consulted with 2 different attorneys who both stated that it was foul play on the body shops part should I decide to take legal action. I did not want to drag out the process 6-8 more months and pay out of pocket more than I already had. Its one thing these guys want to cheat insurance companies, but its another to do it at the expense of their customers. I would genuinely hate for anyone else to have to go through this experience.

This place is beyond amazing! MY car was hit while I was in Florida on vacation and when we returned I brought it here to get it fixed! Not only did they get it done in a timely manner, It looks amazing! If we ever need this types of services again, I will always choose this business!

They took excellent care of my husbands Honda Accord after being rear ended and even dealt with the at fault insurance company directly so we didnt have to go round and round with them. The repair was perfect. HUGE THANKS to Dustin for making this process a breeze for us.

Stopped by to get an estimate on replacing the exterior mirror on a Lexus LS430 - they were able to work me in right then and do the job in less than an hour and at a fraction of the price the Lexus dealer quoted. Great service!

I was very nervous about this (having been burned by auto shops before), but decided to give Sugar Hill Collision a try.Wow, they did an amazing job! No technician is perfect, and sometimes a technician cannot see all the damage at the initial inspection. They had to go back to the insurance company to get the job done correctly, and thats exactly what they did. They were professional, they kept me informed, and they even cleaned our van before they gave it back to us!They did a great job, and they did the job CORRECTLY instead of CHEAPLY. I am very pleased, and I recommend them highly. Dustin is a particular asset, both professional and very friendly.

Would not recommend this place. In my opinion they are deceiving wanting to cheat the system. Long, long story but would not recommend.
