Purchased a 2013 Ford Focus from Mohamed.. Very friendly and accommodating. Told purchase was as is and I agreed. I specifically asked if the car was from a water damaged inventory. Was told it was not.. When Mohamed acquired the vehicle the seller did not present auto as water damaged. Total deniability by Mohamed.. At the time of purchase I advised this auto was for my daughter and I did not need her to be on the side of the road at night.. Mohamed was very understanding.. within 2 weeks the vehicle started to stop at various times. We had the Focus looked at a local repair shop. They reset the computer codes as per Ford Motor Company standards. then 1 week later, my daughter was assisted by the DPS at night and another trip to the repair shop.. Report from mechanic today quote....Pulled left front inner fender cover out and remove PCM box and cover and found large amounts of sand and dirt in PCM box and in connectors indicating water intrusion and damage at some point. Suggest replacing PCM re flashing then recheck. Note due to finding signs of water damage may have other module issues as well. Contacted Mohamed.. did not go well.. he backed away form the situation and would assist if I brought the vehicle back to him and he would go see the dealer.. the vehicle will not run and is in Austin Texas. 3 hrs drive away.. My daughter has no transportation.. I am very disappointed.
