I was in a rush to get home after being stuck in traffic. I found this little gem and I’m a better person for it. It’s tucked away in a quiet shopping center. The owner walked up to me and shook my hand and introduced himself and offered to help me find me brand or something similar. I wish I could have spent a little more time but experienced enough to want to come back.

Very relaxed atmosphere to sit down and smoke a cigar or pick one up for the house.As soon as you walk in you’re usually greeted by the clientele who’ve opted to enjoy their cigars in the lounge, and then by Gerry himself. He’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful if you ask for assistance in picking a cigar out.Selection is pretty good. You won’t find super rare one-off small batch sticks here, but you will find something up your alley at your desired price point.I’m extremely glad I found this spot for the times I’m in town!

Besides being the most relaxing, easy-going and up-to-date cigar lounge, the owners, to top it off, are some of the best people you could ever meet. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about cigars and tobacco. Never met someone so dedicated to his business and family.I just love the vibe of this place.. Im shy, so its not always easy for me to get comfortable in social settings. Here, however, its hard not to feel like you belong.Plus they throw really cool events for those that like to party every now and then :)If youre looking for the perfect (or should I say perfecto!) cigar shop in Houston, this is it.

Im a pipe smoker and they have some of the best pipe tobacco in the city. Owner is constantly upgrading and making a nice place for cigar and pipe folk to come chill and smoke, watch some sports. Great assortment of cigars, pipes, and the best tobacco in Houston. Owner is a car/ motorcycle guy so dont be shy.

The atmosphere is amazing. The owner Gerry is knowledgeable about the different blends and brands. This is my favorite cigar spot in all of Houston.

We love Smoke Ring Sugarland. We go every year for our friend Ceciles birthday and for NYE. Its tradition. Also, The family that owns it are the best people ever and we love them to bits. The pipes, cigars, and humidor are top notch and we highly recommend them. Go!

Gerry and his family are awesome! Very nice selection of cigars that are fairly priced. If you catch the right day, you can stumble upon a party with the best djs around.

Terrible experience and terrible customer service. I was yelled at and kicked out after walking in when the old man working there was on a smoke break on the front porch. Very rude and unprofessional I’ll never come back. They’re cigars aren’t anything special especially the house cigars, they’re terrible. Don’t waste your time here

The Smoke Ring, part II or Sugar Land, Jerry, the owner, was great he had an extensive knowledge of cigars and did not push me to the higher priced smokes. He asked what I normally smoked and made some outstanding suggestions. When you find a place like this there is no reason to stop any place else. The humidor had an gerat selection. I kicked back with a Jerry suggested cigar and enjoyed some jazz music. There is not a better selection of Padron Cigars on this side of town...in houston they are only out done (slightly) by there sister store in Webster.
