I originally took my sons Saxaphone to Music and Arts and they pretty much said that it wasnt worth fixing. I decided to take it to Mr. Butler and he was able to fix it in less than a couple hours. My sons Saxaphone was in pretty bad shape but I am very happy with Mr. Butlers work! If we have any problems with the Saxaphone in the future, we will be going back to him.

John Butler has overhauled my Selmer bass clarinet, my Buffet RC clarinet, and worked on my moms ancient Selmer clarinet she plays in the community band. He does excellent work and does not charge for unnecessary work (my mom expected to need an overhaul but he told her truthfully what needed to be done, proceeded to do the work while we waited, and charged a fair price for the work). Next I have a bassoon that needs his attention!! Oh..... did I mention we travel from New Mexico to have John work on our instruments? He is THAT good!!! Worst experience. Was yelled at because being outside taking work call even though I text him explaining. Knocked his door and immediately he started screaming, yelled profanities while my 13 year old son was there. He said he did not care who I told, that he had several customers. I did not say anything because my son was there. He is an old person and very frustrated and was afraid he may do something to us. Did not want to risk mine and my sons safety. Obviously no customer service. You never treat customers like that and never in front of kids. Hopefully someone sees this and take their business somewhere else. End up taking the sax to Fort Bend Music Center. Awesome service. Superb customer service. Have an awesome day.

Mr. Butler is the only repairman I take my clarinets to for repair in the Houston area. I highly recommend it for my students as well, he does great work in a reasonable amount of time and prices very fairly.

My son has two saxophones. The reason we have two just because the saxophones always have problem. We send one to fix and it usually take two weeks! So we have other one. I found John Butler on line, and he works at home. I sit there one hours, I fixed the problem! Great job! Very professional!
