The staff at Monarch Eye Care is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Monarch, too, is very professional and personable. I believe she is taking care of my eyes, with the same care and concern that she does for her own. I highly recommend Dr. Monarch to you for your next eye care visit!!

The doctor was great but the staff don’t know what they are doing. I have medical insurance. I paid my out of pocket cost and for additional photos because they weren’t covered. The next thing you know I am receiving bills stating my insurance didn’t cover. This has gone back and forth for a while. I finally get to the bottom of it. The billing department didn’t submit it to the correct department so that’s the reason the bill didn’t get paid. They then sent it to a collection agency. I and my insurance company called them and told them to resubmit the bill and they would pay it. The doctors office stated they would resend it but then stated they couldn’t resend it because to much time has went by and they didn’t want to pay the collection fee. Well let’s get this right. I have insurance. The doctors office submit it wrong. Then send it to collections. The insurance company tell them to resubmit that they will pay and then the doctors office refuse to resubmit it. Then have the nerve to tell me you signed a waiver stating you would pay if the insurance company would not. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist. I have insurance they submitted it wrong. The insurance company stated just resend it and to them and even provided the correct place to submit the bill for payment. They said they would resubmit but then called the insurance company back and stated they weren’t going to do it. I even requested the doctor/Owner please call me because this wasn’t right. I have never received a phone call. I will never go here again or take my family or recommend them to anyone. This is bad business.

I felt very welcomed. The office has a very nice boutique look, with a very nice selection of frames. The staff is pleasant and very knowledgeable. Dr Monarch is a real professional and does a complete eye exam, which included the health of my eyes.I highly recommend Dr Monarch.

I will never go here again or my family and I would never recommend them. I don’t see my previous post. I wanted to leave a zero but Google will not allow me to post with out putting one star. They don’t know how to submit billing and now I am being told I have to pay the bill. My insurance copy called them and they stated they would resubmit the bill. Then they called the insurance company back and told them they are not going to resubmit it. I don’t think it’s fair when I have had insurance the entire time but they submitted it to the wrong place. That’s not my fault. Bad business.

Informative doctor and a pleasant staff. Definitely the most thorough eye exam I’ve ever had. Doctor saw something on my eye imaging that was never mentioned during previous exams and took the time to explain how it can be related to other issues. Professionalism was top notch, I will return and recommend to others.

I had an appt at 3:15 today, someone called me and said they were running behind for me to come in at 4. So i get there at 4 and there are two other people ahead of me. So I asked the lady how long it would take since they had me come in later. Well the two ladies at the desk said maybe an hour after your appt time that was changed to 4 by them. I said what time was the mans appt that just went back, she said 3:30. I said then why did you make me come in at 4 if his appt was 15 after me. I should be ahead of him since my appt was originally at 3:15, she said well that all changed when you changed your appt. I said I didn’t change the appt you guys did. So maybe I should be taken in before the man who had a 3:30 appt. Then said there is another man ahead of you! She proceeded to say I called you Monday to confirm your appt at 3:15, but I got a text message not a phone call, but that is ok. I confirmed through a text I would be there at 3:15. I said well then refund my money I just paid you and cannot wait that long. Then got charged again because instead of putting it in as a credit she doubled charged me! The best part was when the lady told me in a not so nice tone, “well someone called you and that’s all that matter” I said excuse me, was that necessary to talk to me like that! Then she tried to say I didn’t mean it like that. Blah Blah Blah! Will never go there again! I hope the Dr. reads these reviews to see how her staff treats people. Wouldn’t even give 1 star, but have no choice cause it wont post unless you click on one.

You would think they would be a little more helpful with a customer of 4 plus years. Wont give accurate prices over the phone when the prescription hasnt changed in over 4 years and refused to give me a copy of the prescription so that I can get prices at another eye care doctor. Monarch just lost a customer.

Cannot provide me with my prescription information because it expired. I am in between jobs with no eye insurance to get a new exam done. I was hoping to at least be able to get a cheap pair or replacement glasses since mine are old and falling apart. Sadly as I cant get my previous prescription information I am unable to do so and it looks like Ill end up having to deal with not having glasses until I am able to take another exam.2 stars because the initial visit was fine, not great but satisfactory. The 2 stars are for that, the missing 3 are for the inability for me to obtain my prescription... very frustrating to not be able to replace glasses when I need to.

I enjoyed the thorough exam I received from Ms. Brittany and Dr. Monarch. Ive been wearing glasses since I was seven and have had my share of bad prescriptions. I left feeling confident in my new prescription. Everyone was kind and attentive. Will be returning and sending husband.

The lady at the front desk discussed my medical information with me if front of everyone in the lobby and loud enough for everyone to hear including other employees and customers. It was completely rude and embarrassing. This is a HIPPA violation and I will be pursuing this further. Other than that it was a great experience

She also explained the minor adjustments in both prescriptions. Ms. Inez and Scott are amazing. They are professional and good at what they do. They strive to make sure that you are fitted in a nice pair of frames and lenses that look great on you and fits your budget. They also make sure that my vision benefits are used to the max. Great experience from beginning to end. Dr. Monarch listened to concerns and addressed each one. The young man that helped me pick out glasses was fantastic. Gave good feedback on the ones I tried on and I have gotten great comments on how the ones I chose look on me. This is the best prescription that I have had in years. I didnt realize how much more clean and crisp everything could be. My husband had an appointment at another doctor 2 1/2 weeks before mine and I got my glasses within 3 - 4 days while he continued to wait for his. Cant say enough about this office. Very pleased!

Extremely overpriced eyewear and contacts even after changing/upgraded insurance policies. Appt times for 3 family members at 4:45 and made my 2 children sit in waiting room for almost an hour before going back to see doctor while checking in 3 patients with later appointments. New optometrist search for family moving forward.

The staff and service at Monarch eye care exceeded my expectations. My familys appointment (husband, son, and me) was completed within an hours time. The doctor reviewed the eye scans with us and explained what we were looking at, and she answered all our questions. Our new glasses came in within a week, and the gentleman who worked the floor showed us how to properly care for them. He was my favorite as he shared a lot of information with us regarding frame choice and care. Im definitely recommending them to friends and family!

I love the husband & wife team. One diagnosed my eyes & the other sold me the glasses. At no time did I feel pressure to buy anything from them. My only annoyance is their hours. I understand but no weekend hours is limiting. Check the hours before you go.

Have been very busy with work and needed to order new contacts online, as I had no way to make it into the office. Sent them an email requesting my prescription be emailed to me and was informed I would need to come in or they would need to fax it. In this day in age, it should be able to be emailed. Also, it was not given to me after my initial visit or offered. Very poor service. Will not be returning, have made an appointment with a different optometrist that has joined the 21st century!

Providing an honest review of my experience as a new patient. The staff was helpful and provided me new patient paperwork to have completed before my arrival, which had been accomplished. Arrived to my appointment 10 minutes early and handed over my documents to be checked in. Up to this point I had a smooth experience. I was left sitting in the front waiting area for 30 minutes before I asked where I was in line. 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time I was pulled back to be assisted. From what I saw in the office, I cannot say what exactly went wrong. Just that there is/was in my experience a lack of time management. Not sure if I will return.

Dr. Monarch and her staff are always very pleasant! Dr. Monarch cares and spends good, quality time during exams. Nice office setting and state of the art eye exams that you can trust! They make your experience positive and you feel very at ease whether you are having an exam, ordering glasses or contact lenses.

The office staff are extremely helpful and were able to squeeze me in on a Saturday morning for an eye exam. Dr Monarch was very attentive and seemed to care about what I had to say and all the questions I had. Even though the office was crowded, I never felt as though I was being rushed.

Examination was superb with Dr Monarch, using modern equipment, but rest of experience was frustrating. Ordered pair of expensive reading glasses, and when I came by to pick them up after they called, found they were not reading but distance glasses. The staff member who took my order passed it to another staff member who ordered the wrong one. After another week, I finally got the right ones .For the cost of these glasses, the service delivery was disappointing. Get your exam there, but got to Costco to get your glasses

I highly recommend this place. I called for an exam and got in the same day, and I was pleasantly surprised when they called me a few hours later to tell me my glasses where ready. The Dr and staff are excellent. The whole experience was quick, easy, and I see great!

Awesome place! Dr. Monarch is very pleasant and thorough, she answered all my questions without rushing me along. The staff was very knowledgable and helped me pick a great frame. Best part, I came in for my appointment at 2:20 and within an hour or so I walked out with my glasses, how cool is that?!!!!!

Cant say enough good things about Monarch Eye Care. They got me in for an appointment the very next day while all other eye doctors I called didnt have any openings for weeks. They were fast while also giving me all the care and information I needed. Very recommended!

Very irritated with Monarch Eye Care. Had to call and reschedule an appointment and had to leave a voicemail because due to them being closed asked for them to call me back and never received a call back. I had to call them again to find out when I could have my appointment rescheduled to which they told me they had decided to schedule me the next week for the same time. I told them I’d be there but was irritated that I hadn’t received a call about it. I show up for my scheduled appointment that I had to drive 25mins to town in order to get to. Just so they could tell me they don’t have me on the books until Friday which is not what I was told. Said that he could possibly fit me in at some point of the day but didn’t exactly know when. Something needs to be fixed with the front desk or whoever does scheduling because this is so unprofessional. I’ve never been so irritated with a doctors office.

The staff was nice and I thought the exam was thorough and accurate, however, 6 months later my frame broke and my lenses are scratched up. Granted Im not as careful as I could be with my glasses, but theyve always lasted 3-4 years, never only 6 months. The response I received was, thats too bad, you can pay approx 500.00 for a new pair. Wow, no thanks, taking my business elsewhere
