Though the service was great and the staff were both professional, friendly and made you feel important, I find that it would be had to recommend your dealership. You see, three time I recommended your dealership to others who bought vehicles from your Ford dealership as not once was a referral fee ever sent awarded despite them buying from you. This I mentioned several times to the my sales person who passed on that information, yet nothing was received and/or did any one give further inquiry.
I came to you to have the oil changed and the tires rotated. The man I chatted with was very friendly and very motivated to do the right job. He made me feel comfortable and talk to me for a while and did a very good job. I will be back to have my Chevy crews take care of. And I would recommend your dealerships to anyone who asked me.
Techs were informed of the issue I am experiencing. They had my vehicle for several hours to diagnose. Towards the end of the day I had attempted several times to get an update, and when one finally came they claimed they could not replicate my concern. The issue is still ongoing. I was informed to just schedule another appointment, and at least my vehicle is still under warranty. My drive to this dealer is over an hour from my residence. I dont have a pool of spare vehicles or time to keep bringing it in.
One of the best experiences I have had getting my oil changed at a dealership in a while. It was my first time to Sunset and I was very happy with how I was treated. Got checked in right away and my truck was taken care of quickly. I would defiantly recommend. I will be back for the next Oil Change and if I am looking for a new vehicle in the future, I will start here first.
Our experience was great. Usually its very frustrating working with dealerships. I was surprised at the professionalism, excellent communication, and the way Christine handle our particular situation. The mechanics diagnosed the problem quickly and she got work negotiating with the manufacturer to get our vehicle repaired and back on the road all under manufacturer warranty. Worked with me in regards to where I wanted to be with my financing too. He worked with me, not against me. Didnt try to pull a fast one, or even have me pay way over than I should. Waited 2 WEEKS for the warrenty people to say yes/no, and they said no. 20k and miles after buying my vehicle from your lot- the transmission died, and warrenty protection for life is a joke- after paying an inflated price on the vehicle.. a month worth of rental cars, and footing the bill for a new transmission.. my 2014 silverado at 110k miles has cost me over 50k. Big joke.

I had my oil changed. I was a bit early for my appointment but they took me right in. It was a great experience for my very first visit for service! The time frame they gave me when I made the appointment was almost to the minute. Very happy with Sunset Chevrolet!
You guys always do a wonderful job when we send our technician in to get an oil change. Anytime there is more work to be done you call us immediately in the office for approval. We really appreciate being able to make a payment over the phone as well. We schedule our appointments online and it is very easy and we havent had any problems with long wait times on the day of our appointment. Keep up the great work everyone!

Dad brought it in for me for a couple recalls and truck was in and out in about 2 hours and parked out of shop. My Dad seen truck moved out of shop at 11:15 and went and asked service desk if it was done, and he was told they probably have more to do, because desk didnt have paperwork yet (desk clerk didnt even go ask or check to see if it was done), but truck didnt move until 1:30 when he was called that it was ready for him to pick up. kind of surprised because service is usually pretty good......
They were very thorough and found that I had 2 tail lights out. They replaced them for me in 15 minutes. Very professional. They even vacuumed out my little truck.

Your staff in the service department go above and beyond to help their customers! I needed a ride to and from your dealership due to a recall on my Tahoe. They arranged a lyft driver for me to take me home. When it was ready, they couldnt find a driver for me so the assistant manager came to my house to get me. Now thats service! Super friendly as well.

The service writer put my keys on the hood of my truck and attached their tag to my key ring while they were laying on my hood. I was so taken back that I just stood and watched in disbelief as he continued to slide my keys around on my hood while installing this tag. I thought well Ill just buff that out when I get home. Obviously he thinks it is some sort of a work truck.Then it takes two and a half hours to change my oil and he tells me I had an appointment that was a squeeze me in when they can. I said no my appointment was 7:00 am. Then when I go out to my truck there are greasy hand prints on the hood, door and mirror. Why you would need to put your hands on the mirror is beyond me. All I can think is that he closed the door by pushing on the mirror. Even though I have lifetime line, oil and filter I have made the decision to just my change oil at home in the future.

So I scheduled an appointment at 11am.And I was only supposed to be getting a full diagnostic and a tire checked out. They kept my car overnight and then when I called in the morning nothing had been done to my car so it sat there for no reason. And I also apparently set an appointment for no reason so… don’t recommend.

I was told my two air filters needed to replaced, I had already replaced the engine air filter, just before I brought it in for oil change. This means it was never checked as it says it was on my receipt. I now know what your dealership is doing to your valuable customers, I certainty do not appreciate this activity on the behalf of your staff. I was told it might be an error on marking the correct box, Im not one you want to try and Bulls$%&/. This is a very serious misrepresentation of your free services. My last Chevrolet Corvette (the one I traded in on my Beloved GMC) had the oil changed incorrectly they installed 3 quarts of oil too much, I had to have the car towed back to the Dealership twice, had to tell them about this thing called a dipstick.
I showed up to get a oil change and Brandon noticed my car was leaking antifreeze. Sunset was able to get me a car to drive home and to work the next day. My car got fixed super fast. Totally impressed with the service department. Love Sunset Chevy
Service was done as expected. Christine was awesome. I was a little disappointed in the amount of time it took (a little over 7 hours) but rather it be long and correct than fast and shabby. My truck was not washed, not sure if that is something theyre supposed to do or if I just have them confused with Bellevue Cadillac & Chevrolet where they was and vacuum my car at every service.

I am pleased with the actual servicing of my vehicle. What I am not pleased with is the performance of the person that checked me in. I asked for a ride of about 5 blocks, as it was about 85 degrees out and was told there was no one to help, even though there were 5 people at the desk with no one to help. I think the person that checked me in could have taken 10 mins to give me a ride but he was not interested in helping me.
My vehicle was not ready by the time I was told even though they had my vehicle ll day. Then when the vehicle was done I was not called. I sat at the dealership for 30 mins waiting for a call and never got one so I went to check on the status and they said my vehicle had they said it had been done for a while. That irritated me greatly. They just handed me the paperwork for my vehicle didnt go over anything. And that was it. Normally when I pick up my vehicle they go over all they looked at to say if it was good, bad, or would need looked at next time. None of that this time, it seemed like they were trying to get rid of me as soon as possible.

It took over three weeks to get an appointment. I needed work done to my transmission case as it was leaking and burning through oil which caused the check engine light to turn on. I was told by Jacob Bohren that I was correct and this would be covered under my warranty I purchased through Car Max . I was quoted a cost of $100 for my deductible and was also told this work would be completed the next day . The following day came and went with no call,text or email so on the third day I texted the rep Jacob who then stated this would not be done in a day as quoted originally and it would be sometime the following week and Jacob was not going to be in that next day ( Friday ) and will have more info the following Monday. When Monday rolls around I was notified that my Equinox was ready and this was now going to cost me $ 196.37. I asked what the additional cost was for and was informed I consented to this additional charge. At no time did I give consent I went back through my emails and text messages there was no such interaction. I provided this to Jacob B who stated he was sorry and thought he had told me as I had two concerns the transmission case and the check engine light and the up charge was to pay his tech guy to look into the check engine. I honestly feel this was due the transmission case leak and should have been covered under this warranty work or covered by Chevy as I was never informed I would be charged more than the $100 deductible as originally quoted. I was already encountering a hardship as I did not have $100 to spare let alone the additional $96.37. I had set aside the deductible portion but ultimately was left scrambling to come up with the up charge. When I questioned this I was then told by Jacob B he was doing me a favor by only charging me this price and I got the impression I would not be given back my car until I had this money. I was able to pay for this in full but that then means my two children and my self now have to go this week without food. Thank goodness they get to eat at school. I was advised by multiple people NOT to use Sunset Chevy as they have also done similar things to other customers. Unfortunately I cornered as this was the only dealership that had an appointment sooner than a month to month and a half out. I will not be seeking services with this dealership in the future and will be sure to pass along my experience to any and all that I meet or encounter . I myself work in Customer Sevice and come in contact with lots of people in the Summer/Bonney Lake area.
Just one of my lifetime oil changes, but I am still driving my 2007 HHR that I bought at Sunset Chevy brand new. It has 256,000 miles on it and is still going strong.

I continue to be very pleased with servicing performed at Sunset Chevrolet. This time I had the oil and filter changed (on the oil changes for life program), tires rotated, a door/window mechanism fixed, new wiper blades installed and a tire rotation. Due to the door/window mechanism needing parts, the car was in overnight. The Service Advisor -- Christine -- communicated everything clearly and was timely in notifying me the car would be finished the next day. Based on previous service work, I ask for Christine on all our service appointments. She always represents Sunset very well and is most thorough and helpful with her good communication. No surprises. Took my car in because I had developed a severe oil leak, while checking in I asked the service advisor if they offered loaners on the chance the car wouldn’t be fixed same day. He let me know that they don’t have loaner vehicles but work with enterprise rentals so he could get me set up with a rental if needed. A few hours later they let me know the problem with my car and that it won’t be done until the following day. I said that’s fine I will just need something to get to work, we arranged for me to pick up a rental at 2pm. I arrived about 15 mins early and waited, and waited... at 240 I asked where my vehicle was and they said the rental company was understaffed and running behind but should be here soon. At 255 enterprise shows up and starts taking me to the rental, but stops and asks if I am paying or the dealership. I told the rep I assumed the dealer was as I was never told that I would be responsible for any charges. We go in and talk to the service advisor and explain that no cost was ever mentioned and that when I asked about loaners his response was that they work enterprise and could could me a vehicle. He talks to his manager and comes back out and informs me that since the repair is not a warranty item they don’t cover the cost of the rental. I have now waited for an hour for to get a rental that all of the sudden I am paying for with no prior notice.This is not how you do business, had I been told about the charge prior it would have been fine. To drop that on the customer when you dropped the ball and didn’t give all the information isn’t the customers fault. I have purchased 4 vehicles from sunset because of how they had treated me over the past years. With the complete lack of customer service I received on this visit the have ensured there will be no future purchases from me, and I will make sure to let any friends and family know they are better off going elsewhere

My vehicle broke down and I had to have it towed in for service. On arrival the service staff were all very friendly and inviting and I was able to get my vehicle checked in immediately. I was eligible for a loaner car and was able to continue to have transportation while the vehicle was being repaired. This was on a Saturday. By Monday they called to say that had found the problem and it was ready for pick up. When I was ready to take my vehicle I found that the problem had not been repaired. So they had to take it back in and I wasted a trip going there to tell them what I think they shouldve been able to figure out on their own. The problem was a major repair, having had a rare failure that took another week and a half to get the part and get it running again. But not with several other trial and errors. All in all Im pleased because a) it was all covered under warranty except for a software update that I was charged for, which seems very odd because any software update Ive ever had is free, and b) I have my vehicle back and in good working order. But I think there are some steps missing through the entire process. Its difficult to get any communication or in contact with anyone to know what the status is at any given time. And on the first day I couldnt reach anyone by phone. Communications and Customer Service are vital in any business and it seems these could be improved on.

In the past I would recommend you guys in a minute but the last two times the experience with service has not been very good and my recent trip I waited almost 20 minutes for my vehicle and when I went back in to ask it was noted that no one had even went to retrieve it. What happen to Sunset service? Did you change managers? Your counter people are not very friendly they seem very over worked and tired all the time? What did you change? A smiling face was always what I looked forward to when going to Sunset but over the last few years that has faded to a frown or blank face. I know we are in the end of our government shutdown for covid but you guys need to work toward being the place you were in the past. Honestly if I had to buy a vehicle today I would not be coming back to you.I hope you took the time to read this far because they have redeemed themselves a hundred times over! Christine is a gem and makes you feel like the only customer! I would recommend seeing her if you have to use service.

I purchased my vehicle from Sunset years ago and receive the life time oil change, the air conditioner condenser is leaking and they charged me $185 just to diagnose that and then quoted $2400 plus tax to replace it!?! I am going elsewhere with my business as another dealership is doing it for less than $1400. Why is Sunset trying to rip people off, there is no excuse for thier pricing? I am very unsatisfied and am letting as many people as possible see my negative review and will never do business with Sunset again.

When we bought our brand new Traverse March 2020, we were able to pick it up the day everything was shutting down for COVID. We were finally able to pick up our vehicle a few minutes before closing. The SUV had not been cleaned out so we were told that Sunset Chevrolet would give us a full detail when we wanted to bring our vehicle back in. After about a year, we were finally able to get the Traverse back in for the detail. My husband was given grief on why they owed us a detail, why didnt we bring it sooner and so on. They finally agreed to give the detail. When my husband went back to pick up the Traverse, he was fit to be tied. We were given a basic detail, whatever Sunsets definition of that means. No inside windows were cleaned, the dash or cup holders were not wiped out, vacuuming was at a minimum. My husband wouldnt even let me look inside the car until he recleaned it. And the response back from Sunset was we did the best we could. If I ever buy another car again, I am pretty sure I will not buy from Sunset again due to the service received.

I have been taking my Chevy to get “fixed” due to engine light coming back on. I’ve spent over $5,000. It still isn’t “fixed”, every time I take it back they say it’s something different from the last time and than I end up putting more money into getting it fixed when I’m reality it’s not getting fixed and it’s a huge waste of time to go to a dealership where they say it’s fixed this time only to find it later in two weeks not fixed again. Very unsatisfying.

When I bought my chev Silverado 2006 new from sunset Chevrolet in Sumner I paid extra for a every five year detail protective cover on outside and inside of my truck for life. I took it in for its detailing April 2021 for third time they started out arguing with me about paying this time I never paid before had good service and a good job was done. This time it was poorly done over spray part of outer part of the truck wasnt treated. I wasnt charged I have kept this truck up over the years it only has 61,000 miles on it in excellent condition. I delt with the service depart worker and manager. I will never buy another vehicle from sunset Chevrolet again I plan on keeping my truck for my life so in five years it will be due again. It should be redone this time terrible job apparently when they sell you that plan when you buy new they dont expect to keep the vehicle that long. I also have free life time oil changes ! I Dont recommend Sunset Chevrolet!
Sunset did a good job getting us in and taking care of the transmission problem we were having. Took a little longer than expected but that was okay. My Traverse was in the shop to cleanup some flaws in the paint and a new seal coat. Was unable to see any flaws when I picked up the car. Sunset provided me was a rental car that was very nice!
